This is the only app that gives a chance of f watching videos to keep reading and it has never tell me at some point that I have to buy a chapter if any other app does that I delete it immediate no matter just how good the novel is That been said so far like I said it hasn’t gotten to that point Pleas keep it that way I know that the videos paid you guys a premium to advertise with you

I found a book on here I really enjoyed but there's so many issues with the app that I eventually found somewhere else to finish it. You can only use coins and bonus to unlock chapters but they mostly let you earn points. That doesn't make any sense especially when you have to wait for them to convert in to bonus. They only covert a little at a time even if you have lots of points. They have a WhatsApp group for customer service but they don't even respond or try to help you with issues. I heard there’s also a email for customer service but I haven't been able to find it. For the people who have points they should either convert them automatically or make a way for the user to do it themselves. Also, there should be some way for users to early coins and bonus too. I only gave it 2 stars because the book I found on was extremely interesting and I discovered a new author to start reading books from. I think people enjoy the stories on the app but with all the issues, no customer service or app updates its hard to keep using the app when there’s so many problems with it. They need to start with having actual customer service people you can talk to by app, email and/or chat. And secondly they need to fix the issues and update the app. If they fix things then i’ll update my review.

I like everyone else got a pop-up in my feed with a great story that got me addicted. Of course I won’t pay more than 3 dollars for an ebook ever so I’ll never get this book finished. I maybe get to read a chapter a day because it’s impossible to earn points to unlock them. I enjoy you need 300 points to start having them converted but they only convert 100 a day and it doesn’t get you but 10 bonus points and you need 99 bonus points or coins to open a chapter. The stories are good. Chapters are so short for 99 bonus points to open. Sometimes they give you watch 3 ads to unlock a chapter but you don’t get that option if you don’t use bonuses to open a chapter that day. Once I finish the book I’m reading I’ll be deleting the app but that will be another 6 months I’m sure before o can finish it.

Borderline fraud. Make it impossible for you to cancel your subscription, one you did not even realize you signed up for- I started getting charged $9.99 A WEEK- and had NO way to cancel. I wish I could give zero stars. Had to cancel my credit card in tears because I could not find a solution on how to cancel my subscription even after looking through the app a million times and reading their conditions. My subscription did not show up in my Apple account or anywhere for that matter making it impossible to cancel since I could not do so through the app. They suggest you do it in your “subscriptions” on Apple account- shocker, IT WASNT THERE!!! Even my CC account would not acknowledge a “reoccurring charge” - but I was getting charged weekly. SUCH A SCAM! There should be easy and concise ways to cancel a membership and- there is none. Avoid at all costs!

Okay, so I keep getting a lot of these apps on my IG feed and I read a lot and occasionally find one that I really like. Mostly now I stick with Galatea because I paid $50 for the whole year unlimited so they must have better funds that back their authors. A lot of these new feeds that keep popping up, this one included, have a coin system that in the end would cost you close to $100 to read a book. The rewards in this Moonstories app and daily earnings (as other reviews mention) do not even cover a chapter. So this app is probably one I will let go by the wayside. They have one story I started reading but I spent $20 already and I am apparently only 20% through the book. I think the author is e notable to read, but not $60 worth. So moving on.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! I started reading one book on here and really enjoyed it. Basic werewolf story. I even purchased coins to finish the book. All of a sudden the Moonstories app started adding recommended stories to my library…absolutely disgusting suggestions!!! (Inc*st!) That had NOTHING in common with the story I was reading!! And it won’t let me delete them!!! I’m so done! I’m deleting this app even though I have coins left. I have absolutely no interest in dealing with this developer ever again!!🤢😡🤬

Don’t even get hooked on a book because you won’t be able to read it without an ad. I tried to top up for the last 5 days and it won’t let me top up no matter what I do. I had been topping up previously so this came out of nowhere. I tried to talk to someone in their “service chat” about it and they have not been consistent for 3 days. I have been trying to figure out what’s going on for days and haven’t heard anything of use. I won’t be reading anything else and I will be deleting the app.

I have tried everything to cancel this subscription before it charges me an outrageous amount. Tried it through Apple and the purchase doesn’t show up anywhere. Tried to find it online and it shows up no where. I just want to cancel this subscription and there is no way for me to do it. I just wanted to read one story. But for $6.99 not for $125. Please cancel my subscription.

I cancelled my subscription the way they told me to. Now I’ve been charged 2 for a subscription I canceled and doesn’t show up on any of my apple ids or anything that I’m still subscribed to this. It’s not okay to steal money from someone. I even gave the screenshots conforming that it was canceled and that it no longer shows up on anything that I’m subscribed to this app.

I don’t ever write reviews but as someone who enjoys reading apps like these are infuriating. This app charges 50 coins per chapter mind you the chapters are probably 2-3 pages in a real book. I even have bought the coins in bulk and spent over $200 to read a normal sized book based on the pace I read … I will be sticking with Galatea since you can read unlimited books for less than $60 per year …. This is price gouging at its finest

I’ve been searching everywhere I can to cancel my account. They do not make it easy until you actually get a hold of them through their customer chat. I thought I was going crazy. I’ve never had this issue with any ereader. I didn’t get time to read what I wanted and now I don’t even want to do that. This will be deleted as soon as I verify the cancellation.

There should be a way to redeem more points. You can only redeem 100 points a day but you earn a lot more than that. I have over 15,000 points but can’t really do anything with them. This means I can only read two or maybe three chapters a day. DO BETTER!

I want to cancel the weekly subscription but I can’t find anywhere in the app to do it. It also doesn’t reflect in my phone’s app subscriptions. They need to make the subscription easier to access and control in the app itself.

You get a few free coins a day but they aren’t ever enough to unlock chapters and not worth paying for from reviews also you get these “points” from watching videos that seemingly do nothing but pile up. Would love to know what the he’ll their purpose is. Anyway there’s much better reading apps like JoyLit and all out there. Take this as you will.

I have tried contacting them multiple times due to trying to cancel my subscription. They have not gotten back to me, but i am still getting charged $15 per week for this. I would love to find out how to stop this, but they will not respond or help their customers.

Whenever I download an app I try a free option before paying for its service. This app is a trash. The books are interesting but it’s not worth to download it. The award system is not working and with a current one that is glitchy it will take two years to read 150 chapters book. Don’t bother to download!

The bonus doesn’t transfer over to open next chapter they keep disappearing and the points are supposed to transfer to bonus every 300 but never do I have 8,000. I like the story but hate the program

If you’re going to make someone watch adds at least give them coins to read the books not diamonds that can’t be used waist of time so I’m deleting do one not 3 different things so there’s no confusion about how to get coins which I never found a way to get without buying

I was reading a fantastic story but it had over 600 parts. I was a little over 350 when it asked for another payment. I went back and realized I had already sunk around $100 into just one story. It is just getting to expensive to continue to keep reading.

I found a story I really like, but there are few options for earning currency, all the features of the app don’t work, and admin doesn’t respond to questions.

Was advertised as free books. They aren’t and are VERY expensive if you want to purchase them. There is a “gift” icon that doesn’t work at all so there’s no chance of getting and help there either. Plus the story I was reading was badly edited and hard to follow.

It was nice and all but your daily rewards don't count to unlock chapters. You really have to pay to read. So much for advertising saying free. If I want to spend a lot of money on books then might as well go to an actual book shop for cheaper.

So this ad showed “download to read for free” so guess what. I downloaded it. To do so, it charged me $50 just to get the app! Ok. Well it’s done now right? Maybe then I can read unlimited for free? Nope. You have to purchase coins to goto next chapters! Do your self a favor. DO NOT GET THIS APP!! I’m so disappointed

$30 wouldn’t even purchase an entire book! It would have cost over $60 more to actually read an entire book! $90 for one book is absolutely disgusting. I deleted the app.

Downloaded to app to read a story that was advertised as free. Sure the first 7 chapters are, but you have buy coins to unlock additional chapters. Guess this will be another unfinished story.

I’m not sure the app folks or authors have any idea how much it is to purchase a physical book - to read a book on this app in its entirety will run you at least $50…an absolute rip off! Not at ALL worth it

Watched a ton of ads to get “bonuses” and there was literally no way to use them to unlock the next chapter. was going to FORCE me to pay even after watching all the ads

They show you ads where the books look so interesting and then let you read a little more and make you pay $25 to read more like??

They charge me $4.99/month but won’t let me cancel my subscription. They don’t send me a receipt or anything that has information as to how to cancel my subscription.

Why would I spend over $100 to read a story? I was really into the story, and kinda upset I can’t finish it.

Worst app possible, it’s like 60$ a book when with that money I can buy like 30 book on kindle. That’s crazy. This app sucks. DON’T SUBSCRIBE. A lot of people are having problems whith cancelling their subscription, they don’t answer.

I have this app on my android phone. When I loaded it to my iPad & logged into my acct nothing was there. You can’t search for anything on this version either. Deleted it within 5 min of loading it.

I paid for the $9.99 and they took $49.79 from my bank. Would not recommend unless you want someone stealing money from you.

They tried to charge me over $100 for a series of books Amazon has for less than $40. There’s no free to read options or commercials that you can watch for a page or two… nit worth our time and money! Better to just go to Amazon and buy a book, but the reason I look for apps is so I don’t have to buy a book I will only read once. Don’t was your time with this one.

Says you can read for free. Absolute lies. I watched their ad which supposedly would allow me to read the next chapter. When I finished watching it acknowledged that I watched it and took me back to the pay to read the chapter page. So much for reading for free and so much for watching an ad to unlock the next chapter. I am deleting an app that can’t even approximate the truth. Don’t waste your time and money on this one.
