App is getting better…still needs some workI use apps more often then not to order food from fast food restaurants and was happy to see the Culver’s app was back. I had high hopes, but unfortunately I was let down. I placed my first order and it took so long to get through the process. The app is not very responsive. I also use it often to check on the flavor of the day at different Culver’s in my area, it is how I decide which one to go to. I like that you can enter your location and see the nearby locations and each one’s flavor of the day. It would be nice if you could click on the flavor and it would show a picture and tell you the little blurb about the flavor. I still use the app for informational purposes, but I don’t use it for ordering, the process just takes too long. Apple Pay would be a great addition, as well. Most of my other fast food apps have offers that I can apply to my order and rewards I can earn for future visits, that would also be a great upgrade. Honest ReviewI was surprised to see on Culver’s website that they re-released an app, so I downloaded it today and gave it a whirl. I like a UI and find it to be intuitive, but the input response time seemed to be delayed to a point where ordering on the mobile website (based on my previous orders) seemed faster and more responsive. I prefer apps over mobile websites, and I’m not sure why the app response time is delayed, but once that gets smoothed out I’ll happily adjust my rating. Couple of suggestions: • It might be helpful to notify users on first time use to set their Culver’s location and to log in before creating an order. • I would the “Plan your treats ahead” advert below the menu on the home screen. • The corn dog item was difficult to find as it is placed under chicken & sandwiches label. I’d list it under sides. • I don’t want to have to add my payment information every time I use the app. I didn’t see an option to store my payment info upon checkout. It’s possible it’s been saved, but I won’t know until I order again. As another reviewer mentioned, Apple Pay would be a nice feature, too. • After ordering I pressed the button to save my order as a favorite and nothing happened. Worked after I created a new accountMy past experiences with this app have been terrible, but I realized it worked okay if I used guest checkout. I think probably what happened is the schema changed since I first created my account and so things got borked when I logged in. This has happened to me several times in the past since I am an early adopter of dozens of fast food apps, since I love fast food but eschew human interaction. So I created a new account with a private relay email and it’s been working aces. It would have been cool if I didn’t need to create a new account, but we’ve all forgotten to do a schema migration or two in our day so I’m not mad about it. I give the current versions of the app 5 stars, which is easily worth 7-10 stars from anybody else. I’m not just some guy, my opinion is very valuable..Andrewking0207Version: 1.3.1

Will use this from now onI observed the general consensus in the past has been that this app had many improvements to make, but since I order Culver’s online pretty often I figured I’d give the app a shot. I just used it for the first time and it was a welcomed experience. I was able to complete my order with ease, without any delays or freezing. I could save my vehicle details to the app for Curdside Pickup (I’m not sure if that’s available on the Culver’s website or not when placing an order). I was able to use Apple Pay as my form of payment. My favorite feature was the ability to save the order I just made as a favorite that I can easily reorder, as well as give it a custom name. The UI of the app, in my opinion, is very well done. I think the app is very visually appealing, and includes small detailed touches such as how the checkout icon (or ‘bag’) is actually a picture of a real Culver’s bag. I found the app to be a bit easier to navigate than the website typically is for me. Developers of this app - I think you’re doing a great job with this application and it appears that many of the improvements asked for in the past have been addressed. Functional but problems stillApp is great, love Culver’s more than most fast food and I was happy when an app was released because web ordering was difficult. Biggest issue I’ve noticed lately is after placing and order for curdside, you’re supposed to be able to text here, or tap here in the app and then they bring out the food. Lately I don’t even get to tap here or text here and they are already bringing the order out. I’m not sure if there is a bug that tells the restaurant we are there or if it’s the specific location I go to, but it’s definitely caused several orders lately to be cold and disappointing..Britnee32Version: 1.8.0

Great app, some improvementsI had to put 4 stars or everyone would say I’m crazy. I see a lot of one or two star reviews, but none of the bugs reported have happened to us (yet). The ui seems like a pwa, but with some added features, like a bag. Ordering is fine, favoriting is good, and adding stuff on your bag is also without bugs. I think many people have just struck out on the app, or their phone is older. The only suggestion I have is for the gift card saving to be done on the app, because when you tap “Gift Cards”, it redirects you to the website. Love the improvements!Culver’s - thank you for listening. I appreciate the effort that you are making to address the things that people are bringing up. It shows that you care. My experience with the app has been good and definitely not like the complaints of some of these people. Makes me wonder if they just struggle with technology or are just plain cranky. I have signed up for MyCulvers and love that my recent orders are saved AND I can setup favorite orders. Signing into MyCulvers also pre-fills my contact info and payment info - this is handy. Pretty app, could be betterI wanted to try online ordering, as only my first couple drive-thru visits came as what I ordered. I only add extra onions & mayonnaise to hamburger, extra salt to pretzel bites, but no exaggeration after countless visits, I haven’t gotten it made right again 😕 So I thought I’d try ordering on the app, but turns out you can’t add extra anything to your order? This seems like an easy addition, (but honestly what do I know about making an app). I can only hope my thoughts will be considered. Thank you for listening. Consistently great tasting food, surprisingly even the crinkle fries, and those are truly disappointing anywhere else. Works greatAnybody giving this 1 star is a boomer. App works exactly how it should. Maybe a bit laggy like some other complaints but not enough to warrant any lost stars. Tried this for the first time the other day and was able to customize my order and find everything easily. Food was ready and hot when I got there as it should be. Needs some tweakingI was excited that Culver’s finally had an app! Using the website, I’d put everything I wanted in my “bag” and then as soon as I was on my way there, I’d place the order. I did the same through the app but when I tried to place the order, it kept giving me a pickup time error. I looked everywhere and tried everything and could not find a place to change the pickup time. I don’t even remember setting one in the first place. Needs workHey Culver’s, I absolutely love you guys as a restaurant. It’s one of my favorite places to go eat. However this app has potential to be great if you added the feature to where you can order from your table. I normally do the order at your table online through the website but it would be so convenient if I could just do that from the app. It would also be nice if you added a feature to where we could earn points for every purchase and redeem them for later. Now works perfectly.Any problems the app previously had seem to be completely fixed. I think it works better than a lot of top food ordering apps. Slow response time, clunky UIThis app has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, I have to say that my experience has been frustrating. The response time is painfully slow, making simple tasks feel like a chore. The interface is overly complicated and somewhat difficult to navigate. For example, when selecting “Curdside” or “Carryout”, it’s not clear which state is the selected one -blue or white? I guessed and got the wrong one. Needs Coupons and dealsThe app is fine. It shows a menu, tells you what the flavor of the day is, and allows you to order for pickup. It works just fine. However, when every other fast food app out there has deals and coupons, or at the very least a rewards points system, it’s very underwhelming. All fixed!I was very wary of this app, having had past poor UI/UX on their mobile site and an earlier version of the app. I also read a handful of reviews regarding slowness and poor design. I didn’t have any issue at all. If anything, this is one of the best apps I’ve used. Works fantasticlyI was skeptical of the current reviews, but did notice the app had been updated recently. I am glad I downloaded tonight. While running errands all the kiddos were able to pick their own order and I was able to pay via Apple Pay no problems. FavoritesMy family likes to order the same thing every time we get Culver’s, so having the favorites tab is a great feature. The only problem is that we usually get the flavor of the day custard. The only way to add a favorite meal to the bag is if the flavor of the day is the same as when we added it as a favorite. Glad there’s an app but a long way to goGlad there’s an app but there’s still a long way to go. It’s essentially the website UI packed into an app. Ordering process is smooth but I feel like to really compete with the other apps, some sort of points or rewards system or coupons being available is needed. Although my biggest gripe and the reason it’s 2 stars instead of 3, is how do you have a feature of your restaurant called the flavor of the day for your ice cream BUT THERES NO WAY TO ORDER IT ON THE APP? I was going to place an order for a burger basket and saw the flavor of the day today is Really Reese’s. OMG that sounds amazing. I go to the dessert spot and try to make it as a concrete mixer or a sundae and all you can do are add individual toppings. I went back to the main menu and clicked on the flavor of the day to read more about it and there was an “order this!” button so I thought I finally figured it out. Nope. Brought me to three desserts tab where flavor of the day doesn’t exist anymore. Being able to choose a concrete mixer or a sundae and having a button or option to “make it the flavor of the day!” or something seems like a necessity. I ended up not going to Culver’s because I didn’t feel like going there to order through the drive through or inside just to get the FOTD and I couldn’t do pick up since it wasn’t an option in the app..DubblechzburgerVersion: 1.6.0

WorthlessWe love to go into Culver's and they're always friendly and efficient but the point of the app is to order in advance and we have tried twice while we were heading out after work on travel because it's out daughters's fave so thought would keep her occupied. Instead of saving time you just pull in the parking space and watch people come and go through the drive-through while staff ignores orders from the app. The first time I tried it we were driving so it was annoying and it made us late but no true cost. The second time I thought Surely it was just a fluke but this time I almost missed my flight. Just… not very good.The app doesn’t function very well, especially compared to other fast food apps. I also was supposed to receive a BOGO Basket coupon in my email upon completing my account, but I never did. I contacted support and they just told me it had been sent and to check my email, but I had checked multiple places in every possible folder it could be in including searching for the email it should have been sent from and found nothing. I use email constantly for my job, I promise I know where to look and when something is there or not. They refused to resend it or help. Poorly designed appNot sure what to say. The app is just bad. It’s 2024 and the app is unusable, that’s the problem. You guys should understand what does and doesn’t make an app good at this point. You guys actually do; the old Culver’s app was actually awesome, intuitive, and it worked. The problem was, maybe 10 restaurants nationwide actually supported it, so it became obsolete within months. Fast forward to COVID and instead of trying to revive their old (working) app, they roll out this really lazy browser-only curbside ordering website. That site was LOADED with issues; laggy, inconsistent, hard to navigate. Finally after about 3-4 years of that, we have a new app. A moment for redemption! Nope. This app shares all the issues of the curbside ordering site as well as some new ones. It’s even laggier than before, insanely difficult to navigate, doesn’t offer social media login, doesn’t allow you to add or remove favorite/primary store locations in-app. It’s an absolute nightmare trying to use this thing and it genuinely makes the old dumpster of a website look insanely good in comparison. Doesn’t tell you ahead of time when location disabled online ordering.The first time I used the app to order at the only Culver’s location near my home. The ordering process was perfect. Since then it has failed 4 times in a row. It’s very frustrating and a huge waste of time to go through the ordering process on an app, selecting all of your items and customizing every order for me and my family of 5, only to hit the checkout button and the app say “Sorry an error has occurred. Online ordering is unavailable at this time…” and then tells me to try ordering from another location that’s too far for me to drive. At the very least, the app should run a check at the location you’re trying to order from and let you know ahead of time that the location selected isn’t accepting online orders. Not wait until you’ve added and customized 10 things in your cart and then tell you. Glitchy MessThe interface looks fine, but it’s buggy and slow, can’t handle multiple changes to an order simultaneously, and threw a JSON error when I went to pay. I saw similar experiences in other reviews but figured it would probably work, right? 😂 Best of luck to the developers, I should have taken a screenshot of the error to help resolve the bug but I’m sure they’re aware. Location Service BugMostly had good experiences with the app, but couple bad experiences ruin it. Location services enabled, the app sometimes will think you are at a random location 20-30 miles away and automatically switch your order to that location even if you are in the parking lot of a different culvers. Doesn’t keep your order in appJust tried this for the first time and entered 4 customized orders. I was all signed in and got to the submit button. I waited for 5 minutes to submit as I live 12 minutes away and it said it would take 7 minutes. During that time, the app completely cleared my order even though I didn’t close the app. Now I am waiting in the drive in line as that will be shorter than reentering my order. I use all kinds of other restaurant apps, have not seen this before. Also, the UI is not good. Terrible appFor over a year now I still haven’t had any access to anything in the myculvers area. So that means I can never get coupons/deals or save any favs. I wasn’t even able to order any food with an account until recently, only through guest checkout. Waste of timeI have a family of seven. We only order by app, but even that takes time. I see Culver’s has launched a new app finally, so we give it a whirl! Slow, unoptimized, half broken.A Culver’s just opened in the small town I live in and I always have the app for restaurants in town so I downloaded this one. Every single button I click takes 5-10 seconds for it to respond. When I went to place an order, it does not show prices for any menu items at all. Maybe it does in the cart but here’s my next issue. I sat for 5 minutes trying to get to the cart but it would not continue, just a loading icon next to the checkout button I pressed. Good thing the food tastes goodIt’s still a bit buggy. Spent time putting an order together then cursor got stuck in one of the vehicle fields. Restarted the app, then I realized this app (at far as I can tell) save payment info. The payment settings has no way to pre-save payment info. And then there’s no Apple Pay. No where to let them know you are here!The app offered a buy one get one deal if you entered your personal information, but it would not save my personal information regardless of multiple tries. Also, there is nowhere in the app, to let them know that you are here to pick up your order, and it says that they will send you an email and to press the “I am here”, but there is nowhere in the email also to let them know you were here. Slow Response, App Could Be So Much BetterThe response time flipping between choices and the app’s recognizition leaves a lot to be desired. If putting in a Curdside order, 9:30 pm is the only choice if it is close to Closing Time. It does not tell you there are later times. For example, I attempted to place an order for 9:30 pm at 9:16 and all I got was a reponse saying, “the order won’t be ready in time” and sent me back to the Checkout page to enter in my vehicle and payment details. Horrible App, Great RestaurantAmazed that as careful with their reputation as Culver’s is, that they released this app. The website ordering experience isn’t great, but it’s a million times easier and faster than this app. The app is extremely laggy and can lead to accidental button presses, can only add 2 choices to mixers, etc.. The app lagged and I accidentally added a favorite order 3 times to my cart. It takes about 15 seconds to remove a single item, and there’s no bulk “clear cart” option or way to start over. Gave up trying to remove 18 items from my cart and went back to the website. This app needs serious UX evaluation and optimization to be usable. It feels like they tried to build this in-house instead of hiring professional app developers, or decided to put a skin on top of an existing set of systems instead of starting with a mobile-first mindset. Won’t find any locationsI’d love to use this app to order food, but when I go to order, it tells me there are no locations nearby. Which is odd, because it shows the flavor of the day at my nearest restaurant, which is about 10 minutes away from my house. Over priced hamburgersWent to Culver’s tonight ordered 2 hamburgers and there prices are really high. Didn’t do a combo then saw the burgers and one drink was over 20$ in suburbs in longmont co. Feel frustrated with the fact we had to edit nearly 20 minutes in are car for 2 overpriced burgers . App doesn’t work as well as the websiteIf I place my order on the Culver’s website, my location has a curbside pick up option. My location does not have that option on the app. My location offers that though. Also, when I place an order on the website, it says six minutes until ready. Needs some tweakingI was unable to adjust the pick up time, it kept giving me an error message, but no option to change. I had to uninstall the app and redo the order. Sign in issues, unusable to order food.App asked me to sign in multiple times, and wouldn’t allow me to complete an order. When I tried to finish the order and pay, it asked me to sign in *again*, and just hung. Each time I was signing in with my Apple ID. If your system isn’t going to work with that, then please don’t offer it as an option. This app is problematicMy main gripe is that the app keeps erasing my saved payment info causing me to re-enter my credit card info for every single order now. On top of that, I have to check out several times because the app keeps requesting my vehicle info for carry out orders until I re-select carry out and that field disappears. Lastly the app is slow. It doesn’t easily register the touch of my fingers, and every button requires several button presses. You can’t easily save meals either. Just awfulThis app looks like it was written by a bunch of kindergartners. It doesn’t even work with Apple Pay to allow you to fill in the information from Apple Pay and the times that it lets you choose for your curbside order is just weird and then they don’t even take the time to set up a logon ID that remembers everything about you. I love you, but do betterI think this is your fourth “full do-over” attempt at a mobile app over the last ~15 years, and somehow it’s still like your first try. Basic functions don’t work. How embarrassing. The flavor of the day is a Culver’s signature, but that whole section is just a broken version of the mobile website. This feels like another half-hearted attempt at a mobile app that was outsourced to the lowest bidder. The App Doesn’t WorkAfter years of waiting, finally Culver’s released an app. I was full of hope since the website for online ordering came a long way to finally work decently (still requires double sign-ins). Who would have guessed that the app doesn’t even work. For example, when I signed in to my the account today, it didn’t have any record of my account. Please improve your app!!!!I don’t like this app. It really needs a lot of improvement. Hopefully they can fix it soon because I would really like to order online! First of all, credit card needs to be entered every time you order. The information does not save. Same goes for your car information. When you go to order ice cream, there’s no way to choose between vanilla and chocolate. First and only time mobile ordering has went wrongUnfortunately if you order a bottled water which I did, your entire order will be lost and whatever it cost will be lost as well. In my case it was around 40 dollars. None of the stores around have located this order nor do they know of its existence. No number to call if the order doesn’t even exist. What’s the pointHaving to login and order from an app is not much easier than just pulling through the drive-through. Customers mainly want an app for a rewards program. I believe this is the only food or restaurant app that I have ever used that doesn’t provide a reward or points system or any type of incentive for ordering through the app. Culver’s, there is a reason why your app is rated a 2.6 and Chick-fil-A is a 4.9.
