Skul: The Hero Slayer Customer Service

It’s a game where the humans are the bad guys and you play a little “pathetic” skeleton with the ability to gain powers through wearing other skulls of former heroes, legendary figures, and sorcerers, even the prisoner from Deadcells is playable here if you can find his “skull”. I haven’t beaten the game yet but I’ve gotten most of the upgrades and defeated many of the bosses. The game can get kinda hectic at the end though, sometimes you’ll lose track of your character and realize you’ve been standing on traps on the floor and that’s what ended your play through, it can get pretty irritating. Also some enemies will hide in the lower right of your screen where the buttons are, and will be very hard to see unless you use a controller. Either way. It’s a 8/10 game in my opinion, $7 is a pretty easy asking price for the game.

Skul is a amazing game I could not be more happy with it. My only concern is the crashing. At first the crashing would only happen when you’ve completed a boss and opened the chest. Now, ever since I’ve entered the dark world I’ve recently made it to the final boss the Dark Hero. I cannot even enter the area because of the constant crash. I thought about restarting but I’ve worked so hard just to make it there and it was my first time trying to face the dark hero. Anyway even if I wanted to restart now I can no longer even enter the game without it crashing. Once I tap to start it loads then crashes. Some time of update to fix this is definitely needed and a constant problem with several players. I would not be complaining if I could at least play the game. I would definitely love some suggestions to keep on my journey or any type of fix for the issue.

The glitches I noticed were at the spider lady; when you transform, sometimes Skul will go to the place where she wrap him in web and just shake. I play with a controller so I found to tap the screen get him out of that shake. Another I noticed; I was using the “Biker Skul’ and I added a lot of poison and Crit items to that build. Every time I used his chain as a whip ( special move of the biker Skul) the game froze only for like half a second and caught up. Last it’s not a glitch , when your 9 of 9 on items for your build and have to swap one out I can’t cancel the swap with the controller, I have to touch the screen. This last one is not a glitch to be clear just a rant. Had this game on another system before; liked it enough to purchase it this time.

Hello, just wanted to say great job on the game everyone from the developers, artists, voice actors, programmers and music crew. One thing i have a concern about. There appears to be no respawn at a certain ‘checkpoint’ and so if i were to die far ahead. i would have to restart my whole journey and that just seems like a hassle but i see what you guys are trying to do. You did the same thing with dead cells and i was fine with that but please incorporate more shops or items that heal the player more often. Thank you.

One of the best developers in the mobile industry Playdigious I have all your mobile games. Well most y’all never disappoint. I’m not lowering my rating bc the first update addresses the box issue. I’m sure it will get smoother and better each update. Thank y’all for being all these good games from console or computer to mobile I appreciate it. I will tell anyone if you want good mobile games bc I play a lot on mobile. Go to Playdigious and buy anything they help make or port and you will be happy.

Great game! I recommend highly if you like rogue like games! I do have one qualm though. If I have to set the phone down for an extended period of time when going afk in the shop or after upgrading with the first station, i lose my skulls and then revert back to regular skul on the continue. I’ve lost some good builds with it that I was excited to resume. No biggie. Only seems to happen after buying something or upgrading. At least for me. Again great game! Im sure things will smooth out!

I absolutely love this game it’s my favorite all time game and it just makes me happy that theirs so many possibilities of setups that I think this absolutely needs a expansion to it that has more opportunities for players to mess around with like for example more than just physical and magical attacks this already perfect but everything has the ability to improve just don’t change the fast pace of the game 👍👍👍👍👍

I do love this game, I have played this on my pc and have beaten the game and am now on the dark mirror, and I found a mobile version and I excited to play it on mobile and when I started playing it. It wasn’t easy compared to pc, the buttons are too small for me to press and I keep having trouble using the skills for how small they are. I was thinking if you can add an adjustment to the button sizes, hopefully that’s not too much work for you guys

This is hands down the best roguelike on mobile. The combat, skull system, and builds are incredibly fun and well balanced. I’ve already cleared Dark Mirror 10, and I’m really hoping the mobile version can get updates as soon as possible to match the latest content. Please keep supporting and updating the mobile version — we really love this game!

I’ve finally made it to Grand Priest Joan. I’ve killed him 5 times. FIVE!!! Every time I killed him and tried to rise up in the light…the game crashed. Finally he got a crit hit on me and I died on the 6th attempt and boom all of a sudden the game registers and I have to start back from the beginning. The games amazing but this is beyond annoying and why I won’t give it more than 3 stars.

The game is amazing 10/10 in every category but there’s one problem there’s a DLC on console that just isn’t here. It’s only like five dollars and it adds new skuls and equipment It’s just like a quality of life thing that I would really love for consistency. Can you give me an update please

Finished the game, DM10 complete. Needs the missing content updates since the price is not all that different from other platforms when it goes on sale.

The game is and can be more fun but, I have yet to beat a full run yet because of crashes. The most notable one is during boss fights, opening boss chest after the the fight, before or after area switch, or in act 4 crashing going though the boss door and never getting to the fight proper.

I really really enjoy this game except for one MAJOR issue. The game consistently crashes around the 3rd and 4th major boss. I have beat the 4th boss many times and not once have I seen the death animation because it crashes the moment before

Thank you so much for bring the game to iOS and iPadOS I had enjoy it on pc steam and on switch and now I’m enjoying playing it again on my iPad Pro M4 I only having little lag in the toxic area + I hope we get 120 fps if the m4 can handle that

Had the game for about a month on PlayStation 5 got it for free with PlayStation plus . I love this game difficult sometimes but that might be my fault. I like to trade damage instead of dodging all the time lol. Great purchase for anyone

It has been more than a month. When can the game content be updated? It's a little boring to play at present.

Great game but the constant stuttering is extremely annoying. The buttons are a little small and sometimes partially hide the enemies. This game needs optimization, and option to edit the button’s size and visibility.

This game crashes for me constantly and no other game on my phone does that, my device isn’t even old or outdated but this game seems to just completely crash and reset the stage at every stage I play..

Played this game extensively on PC, PC port is better cause it has the dlc and doesn’t crash. Great game otherwise

I beat the first dark mirror 4 times and even have the achievement, but it won’t let me get the second lvl and keeps glitching out

I am getting furious with me crashing every time, I open the chest after you beat the 4th boss, and my game crashes then I have to fight the 4th boss again, and again please fix it.

Older iPhone models do struggle due to ram but other than that it’s a fantastic game

Amazing game, played it for hours on end and I still haven’t fully beaten the game. Only wish they added the option to buy the mythology pack that’s on pc for mobile too.

Gameplay is smooth, fun, and fast-paced. The story, although small and portrayed in chunks, is quite cute. The level design is unique, and I’ve loved every moment of playing it! My only complaint is the lack of a certain Mythical skulls. 10/10 stars, do not recommend due to no DLC! 😭 (All jokes aside, this is a great game. Congrats to the team for making a solid piece of art!)

This game is fun, it has all the mechanics you could ask for of a side scrolling hack and slash rogue-like rpg. However, due to it being a mobile game, the UI is often in the way of the gameplay or unresponsive, and occasionally when I try to do an action, I end up pressing another and COMPLETELY botching my run. This game is fantastic, but exists on a poor platform for showcasing all that it is. UPDATE: Forget what I said earlier, the game is COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE. Regularly closing before and after main story bosses, causing me to lose my collected skulls that I spent so much time grinding up to legendary, AND making me completely redo the fight. Fix your game devs. Because this trash is unacceptable.

I was actually super excited while playing. It was engaging , easy to understand and felt like it had some level of potential.. It’s been consistently crashing & I’m pretty sure I’m only on the 3rd level (just entered a castle) — I deleted and re-downloaded. I’ll give credit that it doesn’t lose my spot of where I’m at. It’s the exact same stage but every single time I defeat the wave of enemies , the game crashes. If the devs reply’s to the reviews weren’t generic copy/paste responses I’d be more optimistic about this getting patched but clearly they don’t care and I’m out $8 or whatever it costed.

I still get kicked after i open boss chest and its mostly the lion boss in act 3. This has gone on since the game released and has not been fixed. That should be unacceptable. Its not my phone or an update i missing because ive switched phones and ive reported the problem many time directly to the support team and they still have done nothing about it. How is this acceptable for you devs to make a game that doesnt work after its been out for so long. Also theres no mobile dlc which needs added but fix your game first.

I didn’t have a problem in the base game with the act 4 boss. However in the dark mirror level 0 every time I beat the boss and try to open the chest the app crashes and makes me restart the battle from the beginning. I’ve beat the boss 7 times now and it keeps happening. I play this game on console as well and have never had a problem all the way through dark mirror level 10. This is really frustrating as skull is such a chance game for a good run. For this reason I give it a one star. But the game overall is by far one of the best I’ve ever played.

Even on an iPhone 14, the game crashes at least three times a run. I am stuck on dark mirror 0 because the game crashes after I have already beaten dark hero. I have reached the win screen in dark mirror 5 times and the game crashes every single time. I don’t understand how you can sell a game for 7.99 when players cannot progress the game due to consistent crashes.

You have the bones of an excellent game here but this is *really* meant to be played with an analog stick. Your hits are very short, and knock back enemies. With enemies taking many hits to defeat, you’re meant to be holding right slightly so that you can pursue and land additional hits. This doesn’t work with the d-pad well at all. This may seem like a minor gripe, but it’s fundamental to how the game plays and makes it a miserable experience.

This game seems to have been released with iphone 15 in mind, it’s near unplayable on iphone 12 i have frequently ran into frame drops, stutters, and crashes while playing resulting in significant progress loss including a run where i almost beat the first hero but it crashed halfway through, also a total lack for controller support is a massive let down considering this game does support controllers on the other platforms it’s on

This game is fun and difficult. Until it’s completely unplayable and crashes over and over again after the 3rd major boss, making you replay the battle until you inevitable eventually lose the fight from fatigue and slink back to restart. Fix your crashes come on… Also I know you have a “technique” for fixing losing all your equipment after the game takes it all away from a crash or quick pause, but fix that too. Also the controls on mobile are not very good. If I could do less than one star for this game on mobile I would. DO NOT BUY! Get it on console or something else if you want a good experience.

All in all an okay game. However, I’m using an iPhone 12 and I got to the 1st hero in dark mirror but it keeps crashing, I can’t even restart the run, the moment the game is turned on, it crashes. I read other reviews and they told to reach out in in-game chat, where is it? I need this fixed since I literally can not play the game.

When I reached level 4-3, after beating the boss and opening the chest, the game automatically exited. I tried to re-enter and play again, after beating the boss, the game still exited. It's been like this 10 times. I'm so frustrated that I'm waiting for a fix.

Last patch was 167 days ago according to the in game support. Still having issues with opening chests leading to the game crashing. I love the console game just wish the mobile version would work but it seems like the rumors are true the devs have abandoned this version of the game. Rip

Action is great, lots of cool upgrades. Disappointing that the game often crashes causing lost progress or to get stuck on a boss without being able to fight him. Hope they fix it soon.

Despite not being graphically intensive at all, this game crashes extremely frequently and usually after you've just beat a boss meaning you have to redo the whole fight and if you die you lose all your progress

I’ve done some multiple times and nothing has come of it. This is now my second time deleting the game and re-downloading it and paying an additional eight dollars again just for the same issue to keep happening.

The game is good but needs more patches in the next updates. It lags on my iphone 15 and runs in 30fps.

The game is great, the port was well done ,but the game will randomly shutdown. Its practically impossible to finish stage 4-3 as the second I finish the fight the game crashes. Its impossible to progress

5/5 game but the port hasn’t been done well so the game is quite unplayable. Better to wait to buy the game until the devs roll out the bug fixes. You can’t even finish the game on iOS because it always crashes, then it saves the level but not your equipment, it’s literally unplayable.

I can’t enjoy this game like I can on ps5 because bugs are preventing me from being able to complete the game on normal mode. The performance is also not great. When I can actually enjoy the game I paid for I will give 5 stars.
