UnacceptableThis is by far the worst app that we have ever used. If I could give zero or negative stars I would. Hours on the phone with multiple reps regarding the item scan feature, which does not work. The solution? We will send you a product book to take with you to the store. So now let’s turn a 40 minute shopping trip into a 3 hour trip. Try taking a special needs person on this journey. It’s grossly unfair to anyone who is handicapped, elderly, or special needs to put them in this position. The big lie here is it will be corrected in 24 hours. That has been the common mistruth. This has been going on since January 3rd with no resolution in sight. Another solution? Order online, which means that an in store item that sells for $ 10 now becomes a $ 15 item, which basically reduces a persons benefits even further. Support Staff can’t seem to get it right!We keep getting app updates, and still this app is the WORST pharmacy app of the Health Insurance Companies. Over & over, we work on creating an order, only to get the msg “Oh, oh, something went wrong. Try again.” Or, trying to open the app & it freezes in the process of opening! You can’t set the app up to open with Face or Touch ID. After your online order is processed, it supposedly gives you a chance to “Print Invoice” but no matter how many times you try to do that, nothing comes up to print! After your order is filled & shipped, you get a text that it has been shipped. Shipped by which method??? No tracking information is provided, so all you can do is sit and wait, hoping that when it’s delivered, someone knows it, before a “Porch Pirate” finds it. My Actual Star Rating is -10!!!!My Medicare Advantage Plan switched to CVS this year for OTC benefits. HUGE MISTAKE!! I have dealt with CVS and their insurance apps before and they NEVER WORK! So, I hesitantly downloaded this app yesterday, and I could tell right away that something was not right, so I called in 3 different times and got 3 different reps who gave 3 different explanations, none of which explained or fixed the problem. The only thing I can figure is that the app is broken, something that is VERY common with CVS insurance apps. Using my benefits card in store at Walmart gets me what I need to get through the month (groceries, household, and personal items). I count on this benefit money to get me from one month to the next. What happen to the scan barcode tool?There use to be a tab at the bottom of the screen, where you could scan the barcode of an item and see if your insurance covers it. It made it easy to find out of the item was covered or not before heading up to the register. Every time now we struggle looking for items that are covered and when ask for help they just refer us to the app saying we can scan the barcode of an item to see if it’s covered or not. However that tool is no where to be found on the app. The paper the worker gave us shows it being between the store locator tab and the support tab but the little scan icon is not there on our app. This app is not very user friendly or kept up to date in my opinion..BrcyeVersion: 3.1.9

Absolutely TerribleI spent so many hours trying to get the OTC Health Solutions app to work work. I had already activated the account received my debit card, but I couldn’t get it to accept anything. Every time I try to put in a password. It told me I was wrong. It continued that way for over two hours. It was ridiculous. I want them to go back to the old way when I could just go in to over-the-counter benefits and see what was available. Please try and fix it. The only thing I liked was when I finally was able to speak to someone in the pharmacy about the product I wanted to buy she was so helpful. Not reliable and waste of timeEvery time I log in to this app the balances either show up or disappear while I know the balances exist. Secondly, Every product that has the Blue OTC label on its shelf was not eligible at the cash register. This included Kleenex, toothpaste and floss which are all preventive type products. The only product that was eligible was cortisone cream as if only treatment type products are actually eligible. The store person said even though the blue label is there, the specific insurance provider may not consider it eligible. And using the app’s scanner told us nothing at all as we couldn’t even get it to produce any information. Your app IS SEVERELY LACKING!!This app is such a pain! AT first I was able to use the OTC Commercial reward ($25), within the app. My REWARDS is not working EITHER!! Completely nonfunctionalMy OTC benefits have expired without being used every single benefit period since I enrolled, and they’re about to expire again because the app just doesn’t work. It crashes constantly so I can’t use it to figure out what (incredibly limited) items are even eligible, and it won’t let me sign in at all while inside CVS due to the poor internet connection, so there’s no way to access the benefits card while in the store. And it forces you to sign in again every single time you exit the app even for a second. Not helpfulI don’t know why they had to change to this app! It’s not very helpful at all, it doesn’t work at all! You can’t scan items in the store to see if it’s covered or not, this app is definitely a hassle and a bit confusing if you have 2 cards in the wallet, the amounts are separate and I’m not sure how to use the benefit from the other card. Horrible App!!My Aetna advantage plan just switched to this app for our OTC benefits. The app they used last year thru benefits pro worked great. We could scan items in store to see if they were eligible on our OTC benefits. This app does not even have a scan option (that I can find) even though it shows it in the App Store across the bottom of the app screen, and is referenced in our OTC book. How can we know if an item is eligible? I do not want to have to use trial and error at the check out. This App -HorribleThis over-the-counter health solutions app is ridiculous. First of all, I couldn’t view it on my iPad because it was only the sign size of my phone. Secondly, I went all the way through the app and when I got to the end, it told me I was over on my funds however it told me I could add two more dollars to get to 120 so I did then when I get back to my basket I owe four dollars that never happened before. Extremely inconvenient!I completely agree with the review written by TelzyA, but want to add that there’s also no way to log out. I shop for both myself and my husband and I needed to log out of my account to log into his and I couldn’t. I had to close the app, wait an hour or more until it finally timed out on its own, and then I could log in into the other account. And that’s not even addressing the fact that the only items this wonderful “benefit“ is good on are CVS brand! Barely usableFirst, I tap feedback tab on right side and a continually spinning circle occurs so I have to swipe out of the app. Second, I have to login each time I use it. Why can’t Face ID be applied? Third, it seems a little unwieldy for CVS personnel to use at the checkout counter, but I usually am able to complete the transaction after a few minutes. Terrible useless appThis is a terrible app as nothing works. I lost my OTC card so I request through the app. A week passed and I still did not receive the new card so I requested another one. I also try to use the app to buy OTC items at associated stores but it did not work despite app instruction. Terrible App as evidenced right at loginI just joined Devoted Health Medicare AZ and they’re contracted with CVS OTCHS for this app. What a horrible app!!! Right at the start after setting up the account, whenever you open the app, you have to enter your email and login information manually (separate screens). There’s no way to set to use saved email & password login info, let alone Face ID w/iPhone. There’s no logout option from within the app either. This alone is reason I gave only one star. Not ready for prime timeThis app is not fully developed and functional. Why can’t the apps save the user name and password. Also when you leave the benefit page and go to the catalog, you can’t go back. What are you supposed do, logout and go back. Won’t let me loginI downloaded the app created an account but evetune I went to login it kept telling me my information wasn’t found or that I had no benefits available. Database is out of syncThis App has consistently shown the in store shopping credentials that belong to someone else! When I presented the barcode at the CVS register, they told me the account was for someone with an entirely different surname and living in a different state. Frustrating app, good phone serviceTried to set up an account online. Finally had to give up and call customer service. Customer service coached me through my mistake. I was entering the first three letters of my Blue Cross number, but the app only wants the numbers. The New OTCThe old OTC had more items available and was more easy to navigate. The CVS version has 48 pages with the same items on multiple pages. Also, there is no way to jump ahead pages. Absolutely Worthless AppLast year we were able to scan items in Walmart to see if they were eligible for purchase on the OTC CVS app. But apparently this year, perhaps because of their financial struggles, CVS has terminated the key IT people who programmed the app for in-store scanning of eligible products. Worst app everThere’s too many issues with this app. - Doesn’t remember user login session. Wants user to login every time and go through the MFA process. - If the user goes into the shop tab, then there’s no way for user to go back to other tabs anymore.
