First impressionsThe game is going great so far. I dig the theme and art style, as well the simplified gameplay. However, there are couple of suggestions i would recommend as of right now. First, the audio cue is a bit delayed. The sound effects of the attacks are a bit delayed and I would only hear it at the end of the attack. Second is that the auto aiming is a bit wonky. I don’t know if this intentional or not, but if its intentional then I would it be fix in order to be more consistent. Third, the fps is a bit low. It isn’t something that puts me off the most, as the game still runs smooth, but it could be better. LOVE this game (ADHD inattentive type)Coming from someone who has ADHD (inattentive type), I really appreciate games like this. There’s no in app purchases, or paywalls. And the game is always introducing something new (but not in an overwhelming way). There is very little reading involved, as the game has excellent voice actors, and the controls are clean, customizable, and straight forward. I don’t hate reading, but it can sometimes cause progression paralysis. Conveniently, there is a section of the menu with lots of Lore for when I do feel like reading! I’ve played this game on Switch, Mac via Steam, and I’ve crowdfunded the board game (on TTS). It has an engaging story that pushes the player forward even if they “fail’ a run, and will often introduce something new that helps the player- such as new characters, pets, and side quests. The dungeons are randomly generated so you will get a different layout each time. The combat is top notch, the animation is smooth, and the fantasy cyber pixel art style of the expansive looking backgrounds are breathtaking. The characters all play very differently from one another which adds even more to the replayability. As the characters “level up” they also create synergy between them and the other characters… The voice acting is above and beyond. The narrator will chime in on things on every run, which really adds to the experience. The characters have charming and appropriate grunts and yells. With enemies you can often hear them off screen. Post Update - Controls FixedThank you for addressing the attack joystick issue! The 1st update appears to have completely resolved the issues I was experiencing with it. There is still a delay in the audio (around 500ms if I had to guess) that is only really noticeable on the 1st and last attack. Thankfully the game doesn’t really rely on audio cues so this isn’t a deal breaker, but can be a little off putting at times. Beyond this, I’ve been having an absolute blast with the game and highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys roguelites. Good game, but crashing problemsI am enjoying this game very much and you can tell it was well thought out. I see a bunch of complaints about the attack control. I think it adds a certain difficulty that I do enjoy, but maybe make it more responsive to directional shifts. I am having issues with the game crashing at Anai-Dya’s Dominion, mostly in the second cave section. The game just closes down and looses all progress of the current run, please fix this as it makes me not want to play the game. Great gameNarrators voice acting is great. Characters are fun to play, some clearly feel better than others, but overall, all of them are fun in their own way. Exploration was decent, enemy variety can use some work, but it far from the worst I have seen. Art style is absolutely gorgeous imo, and is ultimately what lead me to try it. Everything is very crisp, and animations are smooth. Small events at home in between runs is a nice touch, and adds to the characters. Not perfect, but still enjoyableControls are easy enough. I enjoy the fact that every character plays very differently, although some levels are far better suited for ranged characters vs melee and vice versa. Super fun gameI really like the RPG and roguelike elements that keep me playing the different characters and learning synergies. The attack joystick is *almost* there but you can get used to them after moving them around a bit. I want to like it but the game gets in its own way.It’s something to do when I have a few minutes. Story isn’t bad. Game play isn’t bad. What’s driving me nuts are the interminably long cut scenes, the auto save which only saves after the long cutscenes, and the fact that a run can take a good 45 minutes and if I have to do something else there’s no save and resuming a run in progress. It’s good but….the controls, whewGame is good but the controls make it 50/50 as in terms of fun. U can’t move like you need to. The move stick acts more like a d pad then a directional joystick and the attack often attacks backwards before attacking in the chosen direction. Each time I lift my thumb up an down I have to pretty much reset whatever move or strategy I was opting for. Touch controls feel badGreat game so far. All the reviews you see is pretty accurate. Combat feels like a chore because the poor joy stick attack feels like it doesn’t respond as it should. Feels like range attacks is manageable but melee is scuffed, you will swing in a unwanted direction when you have mobs biting at your ankles. Saving while on a run?I love this game. It’s very rare to see something this well crafted in terms of gameplay, story and just overall fun. My main issue is that sometimes when I’m in the middle of playing I’ll have to pause and do something else with my phone for 10 minutes. I think the attack control is designed to keep your thumb on it but it’s so inaccurate that way that I find tapping easier but then it’s so easy to miss the attack because you have to tap on the edge of the attack button. Wanna love itI like what I see, but I can’t get past the tutorial level. Playing with an Xbox one controller on an ipad pro, the tutorial tells me to press the start button to open the menu and spend an ability point, but that button doesn’t open the menu, one of the d-pad directions do. So the tutorial menu doesn’t disappear. I can’t seem to change any button layouts. I imagine they will fix these issues, after they do I will update my review after seeing more than 5min of the game..RNohreVersion: 1.0.0

Virtual controls issueI want to like this game, especially the iOS version. I do not understand, however, why normal attacks reset the character position. If I’m moving my character down (as an example), then stand still to attack, I should attack at that downward angle. Currently, if I move in any direction, then stop, then attack, the character switches orientation, faces left, and attacks. In ARPG combat, that’s just completely useless, and ultimately frustrating to the point of ending my game. If this issue is fixed, then great! Fun Homage to ARPGs of YoreThis game pays tribute to some of the classics from SNES era while adding in plenty of unique elements to keep things fresh and interesting. Ever changing dungeons allow for never-ending gameplay, but the incentive to do so in story mode seems pretty low if any after clearing a stage. Family trials is a fun mode, but the difficulty curve after floor 6 or so is super steep if you didn’t roll the right talents and get good RNG with drops. -1 for balance in Family Trials and lack of promised multiplayer functionality Edit : -2 for the lack of a checkpoint system when the game crashes as much as it does. I’ve lost 6+ hours of gameplay in total and after it just crashing on a high level of the trials mode I think it’s time to delete altogether. Beat a boss? Game crash Phone rings? Game crash . Bug in the 1st minute of game playI bought the game and start my first play through. Seemed like a good story set up and was off and rolling. I killed the first couple of enemies. Then the second enemy type showed up, so I used my shield. It’s a toggle mode thing. After I killed them, it locked into a you have to practice evade prompt. But I was in shield mode.
