Finally a Stopwatch specific for Track and Field. Used by coaches, runners, parents and fans.
Includes the individual and relay distances for elites, college and high school track runners. It supports 30 individual distances and 13 relays.
The application can be used to time one or multiple athletes in the same race. Also it includes a module which allows you to time relay events.
Keeps all your events history for later review and analysis. Each performance can be shared by email or shared in the different social networks. Allows you to time multiple athletes at the same time.
It allows you to Import/Export athletes. This is useful when you have a big roaster of athletes and needs to be imported to the app. Also if you have the app installed in different devices (iPad and iPhone), it facilitates the process of keeping on sync the roaster.
It allows to predefine Teams of athletes (before the meet). These teams, along with individual athletes, are available to pick from when using the app during meets; these expedite you the process of timing events during the meet.
Smart Stop feature: because this app has preloaded the events, it knows exactly when the final lap is, so it will stop the stopwatch at the end of the final lap, regardless of the button you use (lap or stop). For Individual events, splits can be set at the 200m mark or 400m mark based on your preferences. When splits are set to 200m, it also allows you to use this app for indoor events. This application also supports hurled events, allowing to record splits per hurdle (touch downs), including support for events with 4, 5, 8 or 10 hurdles.
Because StopWatch for Track and Field knows the event characteristics, you can record:
-The distance for each split
-The estimated time at the finish line!!
-The estimated time of your relay team
-The Individual splits per leg in relay events

Best Track and Field TimerThis App is excellent! I have been using it for years and highly recommend it for coaches. I had gone through several other stopwatches to get times and splits and I have never found one in the same class as stopwatch tf. Had this rated at 5 stars, but have gone down to 3 after missing several race starts with the small start button tucked away in the corner. I am once again raising my rating, although the volume buttons are still disabled the larger buttons added to the screen work much better. The developer is very responsive to issues..Version: 4.0
Great StopwatchOverall, this is a great timer. There’s a few things that bug me such as the screen timing out during the app (should stay on if a race is going on), the sorting feature not working, and the lack of a dark mode. And for some reason, the app relies on the email feature to use the default Mail app? A few apps have a feature where you can undo the stop, I wish this had that too. A few nuances here and there but overall I would recommend this app. This app is far, far better than any other stop watch app. It doesn’t try to be fancy with graphics: it try’s to be simple which is exactly what I want. All we need is a start, stop, and lap button with history. Enough said!.Version: 4.0
FantasticI began this track season by finding that my stopwatch was broken. I spent some time looking at getting a new one and planning to spend $30+. I typically hate to pay for apps, but I couldn’t be happier with this one. It is very user friendly it is regularly being updated with features that I didn’t know I wanted. Great app for distance squadAfter taking splits for our boys and girls distance squads and sending the results to the rest of the coaches, I’ve become a hero. We all love to be able to review splits from our team’s longer races and relays and share them with the runners to help them improve. Being able to set up ‘teams’ ahead of time for given events is helpful. It would be nice to switch the DMR from collegiate to HS order, but I simply used the open distance option and made that work. If some graphic analysis could be added, that would make it a 5 star app that I’d pay more for..Version: 4.0
Great app!Just a parent of a runner, but I love the app and now have multiple guys (and parents) from the team finding me after each relay to see their splits. Great...but,I have liked this app except for one thing. It organizes the runners in each race alphabetically rather than reordering them by place in the race. It makes it difficult scrolling up and down to find athletes. It would make much more sense for them to be moved to the top once they have completed their lap so that the ones who haven’t come by yet are all together, making them easier to find, thus getting more accurate splits..Version: 3.3
Must for Any Track CoachI LOVE this app and have been using it for years. I coach track, and this app keeps up with the splits for all my runners' individual races, relays, and saves them by name, event, and date. I recommend it to other coaches all the time, and I am glad to not have the stress of doing the constant quick math in my head throughout a race..Version: 3.61

So close!I love this app as a track coach. It’s the best one I have found so far. However, the sort individuals function isn’t working and I can’t add relay teams ahead of time. When creating teams I am not allowed to change the gender or event either. I would appreciate it so much if you could fix those issues!.Version: 4.0

Great appReally like this app especially projected times and having the ability to send out results. Seems to draw down battery as it has brought me from 60% to 0 on my iPhone 6 during course of high school meet. I now I make sure I start a meet fully charged. Great but...I had previously rated this app as 5 stars because it's truly the most thoughtful and innovative stopwatch available. However, the volume buttons aren't used for start/lap//reset. The location of the lap and stop buttons make it nearly impossible to watch an athlete and hit a button at the same time. So, great app but not usable for me..Version: 3.3

The BEST Track & Field StopwatchI've been involved in Track & Field, one way or another, for over 56 years and this stopwatch app is, by far, the very best one I've ever seen or used. There is a slight learning curve on some aspects of it but once you have that down, this app is FANTASTIC! Wonderful app!As a track coach I am excited to use this app to replace having to utilize multiple handheld stopwatches during a race. Perfect Timing App for Track CoachesI have used a number of iPhone timing apps over the years, but this one takes the cake for all you would want for timing track races. Prediction aspect very cool, along with side buttons for start & lap times, roster management, and email capabilities. Wish it had 1200m and 2000m events (relatively new events for younger athletes, but becoming more popular each year), but otherwise great in every way.
