The Exceptional remains the ExceptionalSo much fun for so little money. I would call myself a vst junky. So I would love to have these instruments available as a AU or VST 3 to use in my DAWS. I am a professional so I know that you can connect all of the instruments through IOS. However, when you’re creating a project, It would be easy to set them as you can do with other VST Synthesizers. Note, however, this steel of a deal could be raised to be above $10 dollars. Pretty good so farStarting with a 4 star review. Likely will go to 5 stars after I dink around with more and put through the paces. I was really bummed when Kemper just up and left the Access Virus TI to rot when macOS dropped 32 bit support. I feel like after years of great support, the sudden quiet and frozen in time website was a real gut punch. Never buy the Kemper amps! They clearly don't care about being real and showing respect to loyal customers. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Sadly, this amazing app isn't an emulator. Would have been nice to import some of my old TI sounds in, but I get it. And I don't hold that against the developer at all. But this app does seem to capture the vibe of my favorite synth. If it’s AudioKit, I get it!No questions asked, really. So much work must go into the making of these apps, and you’re getting them for, shall we say, “a song”? See what I did there? Admittedly, the only hardware synths i own are some old Ensoniq models from the late-1980s to early-1990s, so these “later” hardware models are foreign to me— that, and I’m not a real keyboard player to begin with, let alone a programmer! All I know is that they are a whale of a lot of fun to play on and with. The presets are outstanding, and the simplicity of altering the presets is quite easy and fun to do. And I’m learning a ton of things along the way! The only thing I’m not sure about is how to speed up/slow down the arms to match the tempo set in GarageBand. I don’t know about other DAWs, so I can’t speak to those apps. As standalones, they work GREAT, and each AudioKit synth has its own unique sound qualities. Get ‘em all, I say! You won’t regret it! Ninja-like PerformanceFrom the start but especially with the new update this viral shinobi is quick, moves like a shadow, and is a true killer. I have every one of the AudioKit synths but this one slashed and hand-clawed it’s way right to the top of the list. No small feat. Ninja puns aside, I have always loved the Access Virus TI2 synth and this lovingly made homage builds on that legacy in all the right ways. When I touch the screen, it make big noise like laser robot from future disco. Delay and reverb also shine like neon in Shibuya night. Sometime it crash little, maybe because too much energy spirit inside synth. But still, I love it very much. Feels like a reskin of nerd synth with different waveforms and less presetsI was excited to see if there was anything extra here to make it have the viral sound … but sadly I think it’s just the extra waveforms, third LFO, and trance gate that was added. OMG! So much FUN!Update: 333mb?! It’s not just a synth. It must have samples or they used a ‘mammoth’ high level (read big, fat with with wasteful code) code in modules or something. A synth only uses like 30mb-70mb. 333mb there is something going on. I don’t have room for it on my cell phone.—- Just reading through everything on the App Store, I about wet myself with excitement. A ‘no brainer’ buy in my book. Right out of the virtual box, all default settings and preset. Hit HOLD and slowly put in 4 note’s playing on their harmonics and we’re off and running! Great synth!This sounds so good, runs great on M5 iPad Pro. A lot of fun to play! If I had two requests, it would be to have a longer sequencer and to have longer release envelopes(20 seconds might be enough for some, but I like to make chill out meditative drones, and I would love to see release envelopes up to 60 seconds. Great app with some bugsApps really solid for the price but I’ve noticed an issue while using midi with the app. Sending panic audio stop commands (for me it’s just double tapping the stop button on my controller) causes the app to reset to the default patch that’s loaded when you first boot, ignoring prog change CCs that are in effect. Other than that I’ve had little to no problems with the app that can’t be explained by the fact that I’m using an iPhone 12 mini, stuff like ui cutting off at the notch and some of the ui elements not being super responsive to touch (reverb and delay button take a few tries to trigger for some reason.).FkdhajgoaVersion: 1.2
