No option for Swiss cheese or spicy mustardThe app is easy to use but if judging on effectiveness of getting the order correct I’m rating a 3 or 4. Main issues: why is spicey mustard not on the regular screen? You have to request as a customization. Therefore this got my order wrong recently because when I requested mustard I thought there was only one mustard and I happened to get to the restaurant while they were making it then psychologically it was an issue because I “knew” it was not the taste I was anticipating. Then there is the issue of Swiss versus provolone. Sorry, but provolone has very little flavor but for some reason Swiss is not listed as an option but it is an option in the store. This issue knocked down my rating today from 4 to 3 because I realize again I forgot to customize. NEXT, I want an option to not cut that sandwich in half - these are not finger sandwiches- they are designed to eat so half the ingredients don’t fall out the bottom. When you cut the sandwich in half you double the chance of the guts falling out. Next- I order to go... get a fountain soft drink- why is there no option to buy bottled drinks- I tried to grab one a while back but apparently those are charged differently. I’ve never seen anyone grab those. Why? Why aren’t they on the menu?.Version: 4.3.0

TRY Something DIFFERENT?Born in NJ the taste of the Original after 30 years still had my mouth watering when I first walked into a NJ Mikes!! The fresh cut EVERYTHING (cold specifically) has a distinct fresh smell and then the taste followed without any let down. The Stickball has exactly what I grew up with in our own little “Hoagie Corner” stand in Seaside Heights! That was more than 3 years ago and I Finally broke down to try the hot Famous Philly and I was not let down. Did anyone else notice that Subway (their only close competitor in Northern CA) has started cutting their own meat fresh for each sandwich? Overall, I’m glad I tried something different but going back to my #13 😋. The only thing I’m not 100% 😀about is 3 more slices of meat is needed to be able to balance produce, bread and the star of it - MEATS. Yes I can add more but it’s ridiculously priced. App is okGet an email and text notification promoting 50% off on any sub ordered through the app. Welp deal?? I’m a frequent flyer at jersey mikes since I was 14 so this ticks me off I will miss out on this promotion. I was planning on ordering for a party too. Update: I’ve ordered twice in the last two days now that the promotion is working. Each time the order was wrong when I got home. I keep reaching out to customer service but no one wants to get back to me. Actually better yet why aren’t Peter and Frank personally going to their Tennessee locations and making sure it is up to their standards like they did in the south Florida locations. The meat is either too much or not enough. Why aren’t they using the scale to train the employees the correct weights for each sandwich. Why aren’t they giving the proper amount of juice or toppings? And why is it when I correct an employee on how I want my sub am I getting an attitude. I worked for jersey mikes from the age of 14-21 and the standards we were held at were by far higher than what I’ve experienced here. Makes me want to buy these locations just to get them in check myself! These stores are tainting the jersey mikes name. If I wanted a crappy sub I’d go to subway where it’s cheaper. It’s not the food or the staff, it’s the managementMy go to is Jersey Mikes. I patronize my local shop, Okatie SC. The sandwiches are good sometimes. But the manager of this place either struggles to train his staff or monitor them. I place Togo orders frequently and 90% of the time, I show up at the time designated and they haven’t even started my order. They have enough staff everytime but I always see at least two or theee employees carrying the weight of the entire system. The rest seem to be engaged in inane activities that can absolutely wait until the customers are taken care of, including to go printouts. I’ve been told several times when asking where the manager is to help or speak to and they never seem to be available. My orders have been incorrect or very sloppy or hot sandwiches cold. I hold the management responsible and they need to get their acts together. It’s a very busy sandwich shop because of its location so there should be better organization. It’s exasperating to want to support local business when they don’t seem to worry about their customers because they will be busy without concern for losing customers. Amazing Customer ServiceWe order from Jersey Mike’s quite often. One evening we used delivery as our method and we were given the wrong sandwiches by accident. Not only did they call us to tell us we got the wrong order before I could call them; they remade our order and gave us a free sub for next visit along with coupons for future visits. We were greatly impressed and have rarely experienced above average customer service in the food service industry. They made our night and owned the mistake. We recommend them over any other sandwich place in the area! We used to be frequent Blimpie buyers, but now we are thankful Jersey Mike’s is around, right in town and super delicious! Thanks Jersey Mike’s for making a quick sandwich that is tasty in Caldwell! They are super busy so I would recommend ordering via the online app and picking up in store. Know the franchiseI have been a Jersey Mikes customer since the original NJ location. No better subs anywhere that I have found. I live in Ohio now and have several franchises that are convenient to me. The closest location is Powell and was my “go to” store until they changed the pick up of online orders and began to keep them behind the counter requiring someone to wait on for the pickup. When I went to pickup my LAST order (at this location) I waited while people walked in and had their subs made before anyone waited on me. After waiting 10 minutes I was finally waited on and given my order. I now use the Lewis Center location where there is a self service pick up. My orders are always ready on time and I am in and out in less than a minute. Subs are always the same but service can vary so know your franchise if you have a choice..Version: 4.27.5
All items need to be listedThe app is great with the exception of not having all items offered at the location listed. It does not list all chip options. Nor does it allow you the option to select a fountain drink as your drink option. You are stuck purchasing a can/bottle of soda, water or tea. When I order my chips I have to pick one and then in the special instructions section put which type I really want, which makes me feel like a pain. Fixing this would vastly improve my experience with the app and I would order from Jersey Mikes more often. Currently, I don’t order from the app very often due to the amount of stress it causes, I want to be able to order everything I want on the app, pay for it, walk in, grab it, get out ,get back to work, and eat my lunch. I spend more time fighting this app and then skip eating lunch on the days I thought it would a great idea to have Jersey Mikes for lunch. Quick and easy but could add one important feature!First the problem. While you can re-order your previous order I would really like to see a feature added that allows you to save custom sandwiches. I don’t always want the same sandwich but I have a few favorites that require adding this or subtracting that. Also sometimes I am ordering for more than just myself. So having a way to save some custom sandwiches and then be able to just add them to a new order would be great! That said, this app is much better than using the website. In most cases it is definitely the way to go. Just submit your order and it’s ready when you get to the store! I suggest if you have the time waiting and ordering a hot sandwich in the store. The best underrated sun shop in all of this milky wayThe day I figured out that jersey Mike’s had an app where you can order from your car or from your home you best believe that Disney World was November 2 plus best place in the world jersey Mike’s is tied or best place in the world with universal Orlando studios the reason why I say this if you compare a jersey Mike’s Philly cheesesteak with a Subway Philly cheesesteak then you can see how freaking lazy Subway is compared to Jersey Mike’s Jersey Mike’s cooks it correctly they cook all the ingredients together how they’re supposed to and unlike Subway Jersey Mike’s actually cooks it fresh instead of letting it sit in a container subway doesn’t even cook the ingredients together they just pop the onions and peppers on top of the meat and the cheese is terrible it’s so terrible I have to say twice TERIBLE! anyways in conclusion Jersey Mike’s is better than any sock place in the world.Version: 4.27.5
Love it but a little tweakHi guys!! I’ve loved using the app for pick up and delivery. Thank you! However i have twice wished there was a way you can customize a sub that isn’t on the board (as if you were walking in). For money reasons, i get you need to have a baseline for charges. Both times I’ve put the particular type of chips I’ve wanted in the “special notes” section and didn’t get the chips. I know you have different kids but they’re not all an option on the toggle switch. Today I wanted a turkey sub with American cheese. I ordered the turkey and provolone to be charged fairly, and put “AMERICAN CHEESE PLEASE” in special notes. My sandwich came with provolone. I wish there was more toggle options in the customize section, or that there was a way to start from scratch. Review Jersey MikesI hv been a customer with Jersey Mikes for a very long time. My daughter who had 3 big boys is a long time customer and we all hv loved this place. However over the last year and a half their prices hv gone up and sandwiches have gotten MUCH SMALLER. If I kniw anything about restaurant businesses when this happens business will go down drastically. Hate that happen to them but I also know I hv stopped buying their sandwiches do to their new practiced. I know times ate tough today but they do not hv to do this to their customer who ny the way put them on the map. This is just my family and my opinions. Disappointed!I was a regular #6 guy. The roast beef used to be medium rare (pink/red) and was usually a good bet. Since they give very little meat, I usually order double meat. Lately, it’s been a challenge to get medium rare roast beef. I was told of a new company policy of no longer cooking these “in house”. I was also told this should make medium rare the norm. Not the exception. I also loved the App until my last experience. I paid over $13 for a double meat sandwich which had two slices of meat at best. The tomato was not even ripe and looked like it should have been discarded. This was the one time that I had my wife pick it up. I immediately noticed the bag felt too light for a regular, let alone double meat. What little beef was over cooked and made Arbys look gourmet. Did I mention I ordered this as rare as possible and on white bread? I got parmesian Rosemarie, not white. So disappointed I’m not coming back..Version: 4.26.1
You ruined a perfectly good appETA: pushing out an update to the terrible update somehow reset the average ratings? Ok. You still didn’t fix the favorites (which the Dev response of “taking the time to make even better” is absolute crap as it worked fine before and there was no good reason to push an update without having favorites). Still 1 star and still won’t get my business. Get it together developers. The new version of the app doesn’t let you save a repeat order, doesn’t send you a copy of your order by text or email, doesn’t let you look back at your order, and forced me to sign in after the update (that one is only annoying). I agree with others: unless and until the app is fixed or just reverted back to the perfectly functional way it was I won’t be eating Jersey Mike’s. Not readyHi I love Jersey Mikes! I just moved here six months ago, and was happy that a JerseyMikes was about to open near me here. However, I wanted to tell you that when I ordered online and drop by to pick up my order a half hour later, there were six or eight people behind the line and, the bags weren’t on the counter like I have seen in every other jersey Mike’s. There was one girl behind the line, making sandwiches besides the regular people near some bags, but I had to flag down someone to check if one of the bags were mine behind the line. No one seemed very concerned that three or four of us were waiting for bags that were finished. The sandwiches were delicious as usual but I hope in the future they get in sync like the rest of the awesome jersey are. ExcellentOur local Jersey Mike’s opened recently and I placed my first order using the app just a few days ago. I recommend going through the app since it’s very user-friendly and easy to navigate. I thought the sandwich was a little pricey but I did get a giant size with extra meat. And then I pick that beast up. This sandwich was a monster. There was a weight that told me I was going to be in serious trouble if I try to eat the whole thing. I tried, and I succeeded, but not very easily. Now I’m basing this review on one use and one sandwich, and I intend to try more, but if my next experience and the rest of the menu is even half as good then there should be a rating above five stars. Order the giant, and be warned. This thing put me in a food coma and I was able to skip breakfast and lunch the next day..Version: 4.11.0
Online vs in personI have been dining at The Jersey Mikes store in Mt. Airy since they have opened. I only get 2 menu items:Giant Steak and cheese w/Bacon and ketchup and no veggies and a Giant #7 w/Bacon and Chipotle Mayo. Since I don’t get any veggies on either sandwich, if I order it online, I receive the wrong Bread I requested as well as a thin sandwich which consists with little to no meat and more bread then protein and the same goes for my # 7 order. However when I come into the store and order in person, my sandwiches turn out nice and thick and it’s all worth the $17-$20 that I pay for them. So using the JM App, I Always get a skimpy Sandwich, instead I have to come in and wait in line to order my sandwich and pray it comes out better then when I order it online..Version: 4.27.5
Needs more customization on the sandwichesI love jersey mikes but the one downside to the app is not enough customization for the sandwiches. Provolone isn’t really my favorite cheese and I prefer to have American. I wish we can pick and choose different cheeses on the app. When I’m in the store physically, they always did this for me. On the app I can’t. I tried doing the special instructions to let them know about the cheese but it seems it was missed by the staff (I don’t blame the staff on this as they always did a perfect job whenever I asked! This is more of a design flaw on the app!) If you could add more customization on the cheese front I would use this app a lot more! I may try again to see if it was a one time bad luck thing but like I said, this is more of a design issue rather than a staff issue. Also adding more variety of the pop, desserts, chips etc. I give it 4 stars for now since they did make my husband’s sandwich perfect but I hope they can add customization of the cheeses because I know others may not want a certain cheese over the other so maybe a food for thought for a small update design? Outstanding locationI cannot say enough great things about this store and their employees! Honest, friendly, compassionate, professional are just a few of the words I could use to describe them! During a recent ice storm, I attempted to walk in to the store. The ice was so bad in the parking lot that I could not accomplish this simple task. One of the employees came out to assist me and helped me back into my car, took my credit card in to the store, paid for my sub, and brought everything back out to me. He went above and beyond the requirements at his job just to ensure that I did not fall. Again I cannot begin to express my appreciation for his actions. Great app overall, could use a few improvementsJersey Mike’s has a solid app that is easy to use. However, a few additions would make it a 5-star app. For one, it would be great if you could easily re-order a previous order from your purchase history. As it is now, purchase history is just an “FYI, this is what your ordered previously.” Secondly, I would love to see more granular control over sandwich and condiment customization. It would be great if we could set the amount of a condiment (i.e. light Mayo, or extra lettuce) like you can with Chipotle. Also it would be nice if you could subtract (or request extra) specific meats on a sandwich. Like “Italian but with no pepperoni or extra pepperoni.”.Version: 4.16.2
An app for the adventurous!The app is easy to use and is pretty on point for most things...but. Its like playing Russian roulette with your order. You order something but you never know what you're gonna get! Order turkey... get ham. Order tuna, no, today you're getting a cheese steak! The customization notes are almost NEVER followed (asking for extra something just gets ignored, saying you cant have vinegar on the sandwich... naaa you're getting EXTRA vinegar!) For what its worth i order 2-4 times per week. The order is right maybe 1 out of 4 times if that. And I've ordered from different locations (there are 4 in my vicinity). So unless its a systemic problem with the employees not able to get the orders right, I'm gonna blame the app for not sending the right order. Gabagool for daysHey, paisans! I gotta tell ya about the Jersey Mike’s app – it’s a real game-changer! You know how much we love our sandwiches, right? Well, this app makes it so easy to get my favorite subs, just the way I like ‘em. It’s like having my Nonna in the kitchen, whipping up something special. First off, the app is super easy to use. Even my Uncle Tony, who still struggles with his flip phone, can navigate it! You just pick your sandwich, customize it with all your favorite toppings, and boom – it’s ready for pick-up or delivery in no time. The rewards program is a nice touch too. You keep ordering, you keep earning points, and before you know it, you’re getting free subs. Now that’s what I’m talking about! And let me tell ya, the sandwiches – they’re just as good as ever. Fresh ingredients, piled high on that perfect bread. My go-to is the #13, The Original Italian. Just like Mama used to make, with all the meats and cheeses you could ask for. They need to double check take out orders before bagging them upThey repeatedly get my order wrong. I specifically ask for no Mayo as I am allergic and several times put it on my sandwich. I have gotten to the point where I have open and check every single time to make sure. Today, for the fourth time, they messed it up and I didn’t check before I left and already got home. When I tried to call, no one answers the phone (again this is reoccurring problem and not the first time this has happened to me). I am once again out a sandwich and $13 (I also left a tip) I had to throw away again for the fourth time..Version: 4.26.1
Mikey Never Fails!!Fast food places are generally pigs in a poke even though many have great menus, they fail to train and to motive their employees. Burger King especially turns out a miserable product and even, sometimes get the order screwed up but the staff didn’t bother to check the order with the customer. Jersey Mikey has attention to detail. I have been a loyal customer from their early days of building out their grand and they seem to have their staffs trained and enthusiastic to give customers their excellent products as designed products. I would suggest that they at least give Pepper Jack Cheese as a Cheese Option as well as breaking dow the Red/Green Pepper Strips to offering Red and Green Peppers in their sandwiches since many customer, one of which is me, can’t eat Green Pepper. They are instant gas generators for me But with those minor recommendations not withstanding, Jersey Mike’s has the best menu of any “Fast Food” joint on any boulevard and their Tuna Hoagie has landed on my hit parade since I swear they are using close to fresh Yellowfin Tuna, well handled and prepared for this Hoagie. Not customer appreciativeI used to think this was a great place to get a cheesesteak comparable to phillys but unfortunately the franchise does not have the same customer service as good old fashion Genos or Pats steaks . I will admit that the sandwiches are okay but as far as correctness of orders and following instructions this company really is bad. Not to mention when you do notify the company based in New Jersey all their excuses are is that they are all private owners and there is nothing they can do about poor quality and service which essentially means the brand does not care how bad their name gets dragged in the mud they are just worried about selling franchises period. Almost perfectI love Jersey Mike’s food but they don’t always get it right. I have learned sometimes it is because they sell out of certain ingredients. Which makes sense. The one by my home can get really busy. The problem is I like to order ahead and just pick up my food. But if thwy run out of something like bacon or mushrooms i end up getting charged even though it may not have been placed in my sub. They have been really cool about it but I think the app kust needs something like on uber eats when something is missing you just report it and that one item gets credited. If they can fix this I would definitely give the app 5 stars. I highly recommend Jersey Mike’s over any other sub places. It’s no contest!.Version: 4.23.0
I love Jersey Mikes but….My family loves Jersey Mikes and will eat there at least every couple weeks. But the big dilemma is do we order from the Jersey Mike app or DoorDash it? The he prices are spiked on DoorDash but it will get here fast or do we order from Jersey mikes app and wait over an hour for our food to get here. This boggles my mind. Shouldn’t it be the same price and arrival time for both? For example for 3 sandwiches, chips and two drinks on DoorDash, mind you I have dashpass, will cost me $60+ and be here in 20-25 mins. On the Jersey Mikes app same food cost me $45 and will be here in little over an hour. Same food!! It’s crazy! I know I should order for somewhere else, but this mom is tired and doesn’t feel like cooking tonight. But doesn’t want to feel completely ripped off either..Version: 4.26.1
Customer ServiceEveryone there is polite, patient and they go the extra mile. They greet you entering the store as well as leaving. If anything is incorrect on your order they offer to fix it and are very apologetic, even if the customer made the mistake. I had problems using the application in the beginning, no one was ever rude not abrasive. They even know my name and I think that's a great quality!!! If I could afford it, I would have Jersey Mike's Daily!!! Your food is always fresh. I love that your quality has not changed through the years!!! Mr.The folks at Jersey Mike’s on E. Stone Drive are amazing ! The owners and everyone on on staff from leadership to front line employees are always courteous and professional. I worked at for a Wireless Company for 13 years in the same general area and while they weren’t in existence the entire time I was employed near their location they were for the over whelming majority of my time. And my point behind that is I ate Jersey Mike’s multiple times a week for over an extended period of time. The food is always fresh and the level of service and attention to detail is what you would expect at a 5 Star sit down restaurant. And yes my Jersey Mikes’s is alway a 5 Star Experience from the app to the counter and all points in between!.Version: 4.5.0
Constant issues with doing it rightWhenever I use the app (never anymore) I put in a time for pickup and when I get there my sub is wet from sitting too long or not ready for me to pick up for another 10 minutes, cutting into my lunch time. If I do place an order I have to pull apart my sub because they constantly put the wrong mustard on, wrong amount, or both, wrecking the subs taste completely. The only way to ensure it’s made correctly is to get it in person, but sometimes that means fifteen people deep which we all know is at least 20 minutes of your lunch wasted. The other problem is that so much attention is paid to doing the app orders and big office orders that nobody pays attention to you standing in front of them for ten minutes or more. A separate section in back should be setup for one person to solely knock out the large orders and app orders to allow in person to actually get a sub made. I love Jersey Mikes but often skip going because of the inevitable loss of time to try..Version: 4.32.0
Unfriendly female workerThere is a woman/ younger that works at the Broad Street store in Mansfield, TX. One day she was wrapping my sandwich and it slid apart and she continued to roll it up in the paper (it was quite a mess). I requested she please fix it and with a visible change in demeanor she did as I requested. I have ordered food 3 additional times since this incident but through the app so I am not there to watch all the food has been wrapped fine but her attitude/demeanor is unfriendly as she shoves my bag at me for pick up. The 4 star rating is without taking this woman into consideration. If I were to rate it with her there would need to be negative stars. Always great foodRockwall Team treated us bad. Employee screamed at the customer to find out who’s sandwich it was. Me and 5 others were waiting on our call in orders with 2 families with kids were eating. Of course it’s a little loud. The cashier called out first and no body reacted. So the the guy making sandwiches grabbed it and he screamed out. The cashier laughed and the guy taking out the trash came out and said was that you David? and laughed. Your employee on break said how loud it was. He made some comments about customers and their orders. It wasn’t good. I’m not saying what I thought I heard but, I got the message and so did a family leaving..Version: 4.27.4
The Very Best Subs in Town!I have been ordering from Jersey Mike’s subs as long as I have lived in Jersey, which is about eight years. The food is always fresh and delicious, and when you have occasion to go into the store or speak on the telephone, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, no matter if you have a question or the very seldom times you might have a problem. They are a joy to speak to. They go out of their way to help you, whatever the case may be. If all companies operated like this, the food ordering world would be a much better place. I shouldn’t have to ask for my online order.When I place an order in the app and tip I expect that when I come to pick up my order it is on the shelf. I purposely place my order so that it is ready 20 minutes before I even arrive. However every time I come, my order is not on the shelf and instead I have to wait to get someone’s attention so they can give me my order from behind the counter. The point of placing the order online or through the app is to be able to quickly walk in, grab my order and leave. The associates seem to be too busy to bring the orders to the shelf. Perhaps you can rearrange things so that the shelf is close to them. Otherwise my son and my mother like the food. Thanks!.Version: 4.26.1
BetterOrdering is much improved, but the form still needs some work. While the instruction field is good to have, a list of all optional ingredients would be good in all sandwiches. The customization menu is more extensive on the cold sandwiches, but is still missing ingredients you can see in the store counter. For example I can’t change the cheese on my sandwich. The best practice would be to show everything on the sandwich page without an extra tap to go to a new submenu page. There is no Wallet Pass support for the Shore Card, a continued disappointment. The store has a scanner set up so including a wallet pass that just shows up would be a big help..Version: 4.19.0
