OMG!! Absolutely best app ever!!This app has made my Starbucks experience so much more interesting and definitely more tasty! I learned about all sorts of new drinks, and even made some of my own! As a Starbucks employeeI am a shift supervisor at Starbucks and while I love the idea of this app and some of the drinks it promotes I have tried and are delicious, there is no actual secret menu at Starbucks. There are a number of different syrups, sauces and flavors you can add to your drink, but don’t be surprised when a barista doesn’t know what the tictok drink is, we are more than happy to help you create the drink you are looking for but there are many drinks on here that we simply can’t make. there are a number of flavors we have that are only available around the holidays, or were part of a promotion that has ended, or that a specific store doesn’t carry because they weren’t selling and they stopped ordering it (bananas at my store). A few thingsFirst of all, let me tell you this app is spectacular.💖💕💗I love, love, love it soooo much! If you want something special or different, the menu 🧾is the last place you should look 👀. But, don’t think it’s anything it’s not. There is no true secret menu to Starbucks, sad 😞 , but true. These are merely recipes. So don’t leave a bad review for your local Starbucks because the employee didn’t know what the ‘Ariana Grande Frappe’ was. Not StarbucksAnyone upset that the baristas don’t know the drinks on the “secret” menu should be quarantined in “secret” camp somewhere. THIS APP ISN’T DEVELOPED BY STARBUCKS!!! Secret menu is awesome!I have ordered multiple things off of the secret menu and I have yet to be disappointed. When I tried the white wizard I fell in love! That is my favorite drink off the secret menu and now that Starbucks allows you to place an order for mobile pick up its more convenient. I don’t have to be that annoying person holding up the line to order something off the secret menu. I just order from Home, drive there, and pick it up. The best thing ever!This is the best thing that could happen to me right now during this hard time. Love this APPWhile some Starbucks employees do not consider this a “secret” App. It is a app with drinks that most bursitis do not know how to make. So it’s more of a recipe guide. What makes this “secret” is the fact a lot of people don’t know about. So we can spread the word. In fact when I bought a cinnamon roll frappacino they didn’t know what that was so I pulled it up so they could see how it’s made. Love the app just 2 thingsI absolutely love this app and how much fun it is! If the creators are seeing this, I would love if you could add the regular drinks too. Too Many Ads!I personally love this app and I have ordered lots of things off the menu and I have loved every single drink, but what bothers me is the amount of ads in the app. Every time if click something an ad pops up on my screen and I have to wait like 30 seconds until it returns to the main screen. I don’t know if you have any control over this or if you can do anything to decrease the amount of ads. Why 4 stars?I gave this app 4 stars. I think it well deserved this because it is a great app but, although it was cool, this app was missing a bit of drinks. For example, they were missing the starburst drinks. I know that drink is real because I have seen many people drinking it. Not freeI downloaded this app because my daughter likes to try different Frappuccino’s and this would help to tell the barista how to make them however it said the app was free and it’s not! They want you to pay $4.99 a month (not a 1 time charge) to access half the drinks! If it was a one time charge I would probably pay it to get the full menu but I don’t go to Starbucks enough to pay $5 a month! The drinks I did see that sounded good are ones you can’t even order because some of the ingredients were seasonal or not even offered anymore so they should put that on the drinks. Waste of a downloadI absolutely love my regular Starbucks app and was excited to see the secret menu app. After I downloaded it I tried to find where to sign in so it would know I am a member, apparently it’s not needed. Ok, so next I try and look at the secret drinks. It shows a small picture and gives the name but not what’s in it, so if I were to go to a Starbucks and ask for said drink I can’t even tell them what’s in it to make it properly! There is always a warning arrow in the top right corner prompting me to download the upgraded paying app! WTH!! I managed a brick-and-mortar Starbucks near a university campus for 5 years, and it was infuriating every time some entitled college brat came into my store thinking they’re “in the know” when they come in and order a “captain crunch”. Virus like activityThey have a sweepstakes entry selection that has worked fine for months. You had to watch ads to be entered in a monthly drawing. But now when you select it an ad comes up with no way to continue. For me it is either MileIQ or Ibotta. Which I already use. They demand installation before you can continue. I have put in a help request several times but they don’t respond. At first a reboot cleared it up but that doesn’t help any longer. All my other apps are working with no issues.
