Great gpsWorks very well!! Tracks everything you could want to track. An very accurate. Wish it didn't run in the background at all times you have to remember to put on gpa save mode when you don't want to use it or it will track everything an everywhere you go!! I only wish they make it to track when the app was open an running in background but if you double click your home button an manually close the app from the background that it would stop tracking you an free up memory, not that memory on the 6splus is a big deal still nice it don't drain the battery when you aren't using it . Speed is very noisy but I’m sure that’s a GPS limitation. Limited use...Apparently "route planning" features require leaving a review, so here's my review: The app developer apparently chose to force reviews in order enable features rather than creating a great product they could be sure people would want to review because of the obvious quality. I can't review the feature that's locked because it's locked, I guess. But it's confusing because the wording was funny... "Do you want to leave a review and have the possibility of using route functions...." I guess I'll have to see if I get the feature or not. Maybe a sour review results in no feature? Who knows. Powerful navigation tool. Best bang for buck.I'm quite impressed with what you get for the price. It turns your iPhone into a powerful navigation tool for a few dollars. Can be a great learning tool as well and will get you excited about your hikes with all its tracking and info features. As for improvements: I wish documentation was more detailed and easier to find (like a visible help button to get you started). Downloading offline maps also felt a bit buggy - when selecting the layers of tiles to save locally the program gives you certain download size but once I downloaded them the size was 3 times smaller on flash which left me with questions on whether it's reliable. Repeating the process didn't make any difference. Haven't tried the online features so can't comment on them. Overall amazing tool that can be very powerful if you know how to use it. Best app on the App Store by farI absolutely love how the app still tracks you even when the app is not open. Of course when you do not want it to track you just turn it off, but other apps that I have used would turn off once I had closed the app. This one is nice because it stays on all the time and tracks me everywhere I go and I really love that because I am an avid traveler and love to track my courses. Best App for Tracking but some Bugs and InconveniencesThere’s a bug that marks all images taken at lat=0 and long=0 when the track is paused. It wasn't a problem in previous versions. There's no way that I can see to set tracks to private BEFORE uploading to the cloud. Only online can it be changed. There's not private links for sharing uploaded tracks. Can only be public if you want to share it with someone. There's no way to send a PDF with an overview of the track (pictures, maps, stats, charts)..Tim468Version: 2.9.1

May be using it wrong.As I sat down to review this app, I realize that I may be using it wrong. I am walking/mapping and find that the app/iPhone/I seem to be on different plans. The area is steep and has dense brush cover. As a result I get a track full of plots and it seems if I change my mind, I get a plot. I will explore to see if there is a way to reduce the number of plots per minute. I am writing this to see if the planning feature will help since drawing lines in the measurement mode is difficult since the slightest touch drops a point. Soooo greatI am a contractor and planning sites out in the bush is super easy now I don't need cell service for it to work great I can take pictures as I go and they are tagged geographically. This app is really good for planning work. The Track Kit app a winner! 'THE' GPS add-on app to enhance any trip.Gotta get it! If you're serious you need a serious app. This is the solution for what GPS ails you. Great add-on for the whole GPS thing. I use it in conjunction with Spyglass Commander/Pro, and the results are fantastic (at least my own particular config which is iPhone 6, 16Gb, iOS 8.4.1). The folliwing cost you a star; Ya gotta fix the 'cut-n'-paste' selector; it keeps switching beteeen 'text selector' and the 'magnifying glass' function gorcing me to re-type a lot! And the 'auto advance/scroll' when typing dosen't sutomatically scroll up causing me to finger EACH carrige return/line advance. small, but, BIG in Annoyance!!! Watch out using on iPhone XI liked the app and found it accurate when used while hiking on iPhone 6S and 7+, but when I use it on my iPhone X the distance shown is 20-30% too high. Stay away from this program. It always tracks.I would stay away from this program. I was running it with the track running and then I shut the program down. I shut down all of the programs on my iPhone 6 and still this program was somehow recording my GPS data. My location services settings made it clear that this program was still recording my GPS data. I could not get it to stop using my GPS data even when I was no longer running this program. I have no idea how they got around apples controls but this program will kill your battery and tell them everything you do.The location services setting for this program says always. In brackets on the bottom it says it can track even when the program is running in the background; this is standard.
