I’m absolutely in love with their food, I non-stop raved to my mom about this place after the first time we went and she even got me a gift card this Christmas, that I will be using! 😂 I’ve never had an issue the few times I’ve gone since it’s a bit out of the way for us, but not too far, except for recently. My mom and I decide to go eat there again one day, probably because she was going to get me the gift card, as she had suggested it. We walk in, I get my usual (the Olivia’s Old South with just the cheese melt, a soup or mac and cheese, whichever I’m feelin’, and a large sweet tea.) No issues with my order until we get home and it’s a little while later and my mom asked me if I wanted the other half to hers that she had taken home. I said “sure, why not” since we had gotten the same thing. Tastes good, tastes the same as I’m eating it and then I bite into a piece where I pull out a stringy, fatty piece of chicken. I’m pretty sure it was just fat off the chicken, actually. Absolutely disgusting, I’ve never dealt with anything like that from them and it really set my opinion of the place back a little, though I still love eating there! My favorite restaurantI came today with some work friends to the grand opening at the Hickory location. I have been so excited that they were opening a location here in North Carolina. I ate at a Chicken Salad Chick in greenville, South Carolina, where me and my husband moved to in 2014. It was one of our favorite things to do together to enjoy a meal there! His favorite was the broccoli salad and buffalo Barclay! Tried almost all of the chicken salads and they are all so very good, my experience today was amazing! Everyone was so nice and kind. The food quality was fresh and great and being able to taste this food again made my day! I also had the privilege to meet Jim, the COO of the restaurant and he was extremely, nice and very professional and he made sure that we had everything that we needed and our service was great! Highly User UnfriendlyThis app has clearly been written with nearly no regard for how a customer uses it. The architects,, designers, and programmers appear to be simply lazy and out of touch with their users. Cell phone usability is appalling.
To create and place an order the initial graphical menu selection is appealing; but once you make a selection (say The Chick)you’re presented with a vertical list; a stupid -/+ control for scoop or sandwich (choose “Scoop +” but Sandwich remains); now a two screen list of salad choices (choose “Fancy Nancy +” again ALL the other choices remain) [didn’t anyone ever hear of radio buttons, duh]; scroll thru the multi screen list to find “Plus one of:” (choose “Side +” the rest still remain); do I immediately get to choose my side, alas NO, more scrolling or “Choose your side” (choose “Broccoli Salad +” getting tired yet?)n more scrolling and alas your not done with your Broccoli Salad, NO, you’ve now got to choose “Regular Toppings”, “Toppings Removed”, “Extra Toppings” [shouldn’t “Regular Toppings” be the gosh darn DEFAULT, alas, it’s not.]

Bad attitude from Drive up window- Tupelo Ms 3581 N GlosterI placed an order through the Drive thru there was a little noise from outside so she could not hear me at times to place an order. She repeated the order which was correct. At drive through I apologized telling her that it must be the car wash. Not receiving pointsI made an in store cake purchase of $54. The Olive Branch store would not scan my app so that I could receive points. I was told by two employees (employee name on receipt was Mona) to input my receipt information manually on my app. I tried to input information several times and information would not take. I called the store and got all kinds of excuses from staff that said that they were only helping out at the store and that they are usually working at another store. They did not try rectify the issue at all. Not a great visitToday I went to my CSC in Hurst, TX
I requested a MAUI MAMA MELT by pointing out the advertisement on the register and asking for it. I wound up with a toasted white bread sandwich with no bacon and obviously no croissant. When I got my order it was as stated above. I went to the register to see if I had got it wrong. I did not. An employee asked if everything was OK and I responded that I thought I was getting the MMM but no bacon and no croissant. She said she could remake it I responded no thanks as I was hungry and had already eaten a bite.
I also bit into 2 pieces of bone. I love CSC and have been coming to this location for numerous years with always a great experience.

Impossible to sign inUsed to use Apple ID to sign in on the old version of the app, and since the update that is no longer an option. Because my phone number was also connected to my account, I can no longer even create a new account because the error message “mobile phone has already been taken” pops up every time. I vaguely recall creating a new account when the app initially did the first major update, but at some point I got signed out, and haven’t been able to sign back in. Using the “forgot password” option is also ridiculous because the email it sends just tells me to create a new account, and there’s never an option to reset my password, which I believe is probably because my original account used a relay email through Apple ID, which I also don’t have access to. Basically, I think it’s ridiculous that I can’t just sign up with a new account using my phone number even though it’s been used before. Or maybe even create an account without using my phone number, since it will have an email address connected..BaylleefVersion: 4.1.0
New App NEEDS Work…The app looks nice but is difficult to navigate when adding food to the cart, especially when selecting item options like bread. There’s also no way to add comments like before – for example, I don’t like pickles, and I couldn’t figure out how to remove them! Additionally, there’s no option for Apple Pay, which is frustrating. I don’t want to store my credit card with you, but having to manually enter it every time is inconvenient, especially when most services offer Apple Pay or similar options nowadays. This should be a basic feature for 2024, not something I’d expect from 2016.
The instructions for transferring points worked, but I’m unable to log in from a desktop. It keeps asking me to confirm my email, which I’ve already done. Oddly, the app works fine, but I prefer using the website, and now I’m forced to rely on the app.

Locked out after new updateAfter creating a new account as instructed following the release of the new app, I have been unable to log in. When I enter my email and password, I get a message that says "Please confirm your phone number before signing in", but I have no way to do that as I never received a text message to verify my phone number.
The app also allowed me to create a new password that turned out not to be allowed when using the desktop website. Apparently hyphens are not allowed in the password, but the app never flagged this. When I tried to log in via the browser website, it said my password was unacceptable (I had to figure out on my own that it was because of the hyphens). New update is horrible!Doesn’t recognize my location so I can’t select the store I want. Can’t pull up a menu from the link labeled “our menu” or from the left hand corner link labeled the same. An error message comes up every time. Removed some of the reward options (like the t-shirt, which I had enough points to get). Makes you create a new account when you have an existing one then you have to link your previous account. My previous account saved my password and the one that was saved didn’t work so I had to reset that just to be able to link the old account with the new one. Least favorite restaurant appThis app is terrible! It wouldn’t let me login on my phone- kept telling me I had the wrong password but then also wouldn’t let me change my password. I finally created a new account with the same email (not sure how it allowed that but ok); so I could login on my computer but tried on my phone with new PW and no go. I finally deleted the app altogether and reinstalled and then entered the exact same info and I finally got in. I am trying to place a pretty large catering order and it won’t let me do that either. Points did not transfer from old accountDespite reaching out to customer support numerous times over several months and attempting to follow the instructions they have given me I have not been able to get the points back from my old account. For example I tried to delete the new account that was accidentally created that had only 25 points so I could use my cell number to retrieve the points from my old account but when putting my password in that is needed to delete the account I receive the message that the password can not be blank. Can’t add a payment & can’t scan receipt to add rewardsThis app is behaving badly to say the least. I spent 20 minutes setting up the new account. I then tried several times to place an order & it would NOT let me add a payment. I even tried going to my account where it said no saved payment but had no option to add one. I then went into the Wilmington, NC store to place the order. The sweet cashier tried to scan it for me after my attempts failed. Best Food…App update is the worst ever!This is one of our favorite places even with my significant other doing Keto! Unfortunately, there were some recent changes to the app and website that make them less intuitive and feel cheap but at least the website let me order.

New app is horribleI updated to the new app and finally got signed in to my account after fooling with it for almost 30 minutes. Couldn’t upload my two receipts I had and then when I tried to redeem a free large drink at the restaurant it took me directly to the online ordering page. New App but why???The original app worked flawlessly. The minute they changed the app the first thing I realize is you can’t scan the barcode without an error. I submit a ticket and they say hey it’s been fixed, update your app. But guess what? That convenient scan barcode feature is now gone! Terrible appI downloaded this to sign up for the points like the cashier suggested. I went through the whole process and then when I go to sign in with my email, it tells me it was incorrect and so I change the password again it tells me incorrect. Worst mobile UX/UI of apps I useI am a mobile app designer and the Chicken Salad Chick app has the worst user experience of any mobile app I use. The number of taps to accomplish a simple order is excessive. And, the UI is counter intuitive in some areas. The most frustrating thing is that the app regularly loses the saved credit card information, requires me to re-enter it but then won’t even save it. It is SO frustrating using your app. I do prefer mobile ordering so that pick up at the drive-thru is fast and efficient. Sandra….. A ProblemWhen we first came in to the Midlothian, TX location, it was apparent that there were two lines because both registers were operating. As soon as I stopped at the closest and shortest line, Sandra asked me and my daughter to move over and that there was only one line. After moving to the “only one line as she said” she then came back and asked us to form the line in a different direction. Now I’m offended. Nothing seem to be an issue until we were in the lines. 1) There are ZERO descriptions of their chicken salad flavors anywhere to be found… I looked here, on their website, on Door Dash, and ended up having to ask ChatGPT… no idea where he got the flavor descriptions for me. Otherwise, I would have had to order blindly, and at those prices, no thank you, ma’am.
2) if you accidentally or on purpose back track to the main page, it deletes your whole cart.
3) Check Out wasn’t working… wasn’t pulling in the payment info I had saved to my account and wouldn’t take the payment info I tried to put in… the button to submit the order just stayed grey. So, it ended being completely useless, and I had to place my order from the website… which it pretty much as dumb as the app, but at least it took my order.

After struggling for more than 30 minutes finally called my local store and they told me to create a new account. I was concerned that I would lose all my points that I had but I did what they had said because they told me they had received many phone calls over the last week since this new app had came out.
It did finally let me get in and did give me back my points, however, I find that this is frustrating and not good customer relations! In my opinion, your tech department failed with this new version.

New Rewards App 9/24I upgraded to the new version of Rewards on September 24th, which will sign you out. Says you have to create a new account using the same email. Well I did that and it keeps saying I must confirm my email to continue. So I checked my email on my other phone, saw nothing, waited a bit, still nothing. Cannot log in. Also the receipts now only seem to scan if you do it on the day of purchase and even then there are sometimes errors. Hoping that I will be able to get back in and see improvements..AquaBubblesVersion: 3.6
Not user-friendly, poorly designedI thought my mom was exaggerating when she said the app was frustrating to use, but even as a fairly tech-literate younger person this app is just horrendous to use. Especially when trying to redeem rewards! It should at least have separate buttons for ‘redeem online’ and ‘redeem in-store’ instead of just assuming everyone knows to just scan without saying anything to the cashier about it. And as a fellow cashier, i just know that’s gotta be super annoying for them..YagihimesamaVersion: 4.2.19
Worst update ever!I receive an email about the update with direction to just go through the “forgot my password” on the app to reset and points won’t be lost.
I do and no email received - twice.
Go to the store and they tell me I have to sign in like a new customer and it will remember my points. I ask about scanning the receipt because the barcode is no longer there. They tell me there is a way on the app under rewards.
I sign up like a new user and pretty sure points are missing. I also try to upload a receipt and guess what? Doesn’t work!
When going through the drive-through and prepaying via the app, they cannot scan your rewards because the bill has already been paid.
Seriously, the app is so bad I’ll probably pass on chicken salad chick because part of the appeal is the reward system; which is hard broke..Shenky916Version: 4.0.4
Update screwed every thing upThe update made it nearly impossible to order anything. I get to the screen to put in my credit card information in, the part to put the actual credit card number is greened out. It will let you put in the expiration date and zip in, but impossible to put the card number in. I thought maybe I had a bad link so I uninstalled and reinstalled a few days later and nope same issues. I guess that Chicken Salad Chick wants people to order on line anymore.Ember2@shesVersion: 4.0.4
