I once again, love this app!Perhaps a year ago or more, I had left negative feedback regarding this app which I had really come to enjoy however, over time l noticed glitches that were not being addressed. I contacted the developers and to my delight and surprise, I got immediate feedback and actually spoke to one of the support techs for a long time and explained my frustrations and I tried to give constructive criticism as well. Over time, all of these concerns have been addressed and corrected and I am compelled to say this is yet again and outstanding value! A little bit of money well spent if you are giving presentations Where graphics are an important part of your work! You’re not my mother.I have used this app for 4 years. It’s one of my best tools in the field. Today, I saw that the full app is on sale, so I planned to purchase it this evening, not because I need it (the free one works fine for me) but because I would like to support the people that have developed such a useful tool. Then I opened the app today and got a pop-up message “from the developer”. It said to “wear a mask”. I’m not going to even begin to explain why this is a political statement because everyone with common sense knows that it is. This is not a “safety” or “health” app. I use it because it’s useful. I do not require or desire the “developers” preaching at me about wearing a mask. I’m not buying the full app now and if I see a pop-up like this even once more I’m deleting it completely and using one of the many alternatives. Every one I know in my industry that I have trained and recommended to use this app (hundreds of people) will receive a text or email from me recommending a replacement. So HelpfulI discovered TurboScan near the end of a remote teaching year during the pandemic. I am an older teacher and not tech savvy, so trying to learn how to put things on line with no training was stressful to put it mildly. I was trying to scan things on the school copier using a flash drive and then using the flash drive to put it on a computer and so on. It involved so many steps that I never was able to do without help. I fellow teacher told me about TurboScan and it removed so much of my stress. I paid $3.99 and it literally saved hours of work. (To avoid the flash drive frustration, I often just retyped entire pages.) TurboScan is very user friendly and is the most helpful app I ever downloaded!.Bec801Version: 3.2.5

Quality went down with paid upgradeI used the free version to test with some artwork being submitted for contests. I decided $6.99 was a good price to pay to have the ability to continue doing this as I was quite pleased with the results. As soon as I paid for the upgrade and continued with taking pictures of the pieces, the quality was greatly reduced, pictures grainy, colors extremely faded. This was within minutes of the original few photos I took with the free version. Nothing had changed. I even tried scanning one of the pieces I’d done previously with the free version to compare and the results were drastically different with the free version being far superior to that of the second version taken after I’d paid for the upgrade. One would say I feel a bit of a bait and switch with this product. I know it can perform well, so why once I pay for more access does it stop performing?.CjinwaVersion: 3.2.1

Updates/ImprovementsApp is amazing, and love what you can do. Here are a few ideas where I could see improvement. - Newer/Updated interface. The app looks a little 2000’s. - Outgoing PDF’s via email. I wish there was a feature that provides a list of scans that are waiting to be sent or a “try again” feature. When sending scans where phone service was limited- I noticed some will go through and some wouldn’t. Within the app it shows that it sent but in email- it was never uploaded. - I send A LOT of scans and it would be nice to add a signature behind the scan itself. - Account. I had this app on another phone and had over 3000 scans.. But the phone went out and didn’t recently back up the phone. Outstanding App & Tech SupportFor me, this app was one of those little things that had a disproportionately huge positive impact on my life. It has made my law practice more efficient and it has been a godsend during Covid. I keep all kinds of scanned documents on my phone and pull them out as needed no matter where I am, which I have done many times. I also just received excellent support from the TurboScan tech people (thanks Matt!!). I had to do an iPhone factory reset and none of my scans came back to me when I re-download. Apple support was not able to help me but they suggested TurboScan support. TurboScan support helped me on both Sunday and today, Presidents’ Day, and I successfully got all of my scans back. Excellent appI'm not normally the one who writes a review because I'm not normally excited about a product. Usually if the product is great, the service lacks or vice versa. I love this app! I never use my scanner anymore and am able to send docs on the fly while I'm anywhere for business. While this app is perfect if you're looking for ways to improve (yeah, I know) please be a option available when I'm in a text or email to be able to attach my PDF then. My Favorite App!I hate clutter, and I especially hate paper clutter. Before downloading this app, I would scan papers using my all-in-one printer. The process required me to 1) be home 2) physically insert all the papers into the scanner 3) have patience (which was the hardest part!). This app does everything my scanner did and more, but requires less time and effort. Now, I open the app (at home or on-the-go) and quickly capture page after page. I can save the pages on my phone or email them (as JPEGs or PDFs) to myself and others. The quality of each image is fantastic. I recommend this app to everyone I know!.ButterflyPhotoVersion: 2.9.1

Works better than my scannerI’ve been using this app for several years now and it is my preferred method of scanning - even better than the actual scanners I have in my office. I’ve always had trouble with scanners wanting to pick up too many pages at a time, picking them up at a weird angle so the pages are misaligned, etc. - TurboScan has none of these problems. The only scan app I useI’m a journeyman for a flooring company. Part of that means I’m always measuring jobs, revising orders on the field. I don’t have the luxury of stopping somewhere to scan paperwork. I came across this app back in 2014 and have ALWAYS used it ever since. TurboScan is a great help!I downloaded TurboScan at my daughter’s request and am very pleased! The quality of the documents I send are so much better than simply taking a pic of the document! My Fav App for Business and LifeI work as an Art Director and am constantly having to submit receipts, start paperwork form remote locations, all kinds of things that I’d normally have to send as JPEG (😱) via email. Greatest Scanner EverI use TurboScan at work and at home nearly everyday. Works great for documents and photos. Very high quality. I have access to a commercial-grade scanner/printer, but have rarely used it since I started using TurboScan. The skew correction is impressive, and the app works very well in low light with my iPhone 12. Simple, fast and clean.Really good scanner app. However, the absence of sub-folders makes it unusable for very organized scenarios (my case). Best phone based scanner app I have usedYou get a few free scans and then have to pay a nominal fee to purchase it, but this app is well worth your hard earned dollars. Great App!I’ve been using TurboScan for several years now and it has always worked well. No faulty operations I am aware of. I like the ability to choose “three photos” or a single shot with flash or not - you can always get a quality looking scan that way. App will not email pdfThis app works great in almost every way, however 75% of the time, after scanning the document, I cannot email it anywhere. It tells me the email has been sent, but it never arrives when I check the email address. Awesome!Since the pandemic I’ve been working from home and I don’t own a scanner. One of my chores is to fill out insurance audits. Before I used to edit the form and fill it out but it never looked professional It took me a bit to download TurboScan on my phone but from day one I loved it! Great...butI never had a problem with this app until today when I received a pop up screen while using it (I paid for premium) and thought my phone got hacked. Temperamental email sendingI have had this app for a couple of years using it almost everyday for work paperwork. It works fine and I am committed to it now all my work is on there, the biggest problem I have is when I send files over only to find that they didn’t actually send. Unable to Purchase Turbo Scan PremiumI used the Turbo Scan app on a trial basis and was pleased with it. At the end of the trial, it offered me Turbo Scan Premium for $6.99. When I tried to buy it, I had to use my thumb print. I never use a thumb print, only an ID and PW. When I contacted Turbo Scan’s customer service, they referred me to Apple’s customer service. Decline in Quality imagesNote to developer: improve the quality of the trial features then users would be inclined to move forward with purchasing. . . I've had this app prior to the $9.99 "premium" charge (I hadn't used it in a few months so I assume this is new). I would've been fine with purchasing- BUT - the few "trial" scans they give you (prior the payblock for "premium" purchase) are NOTHING like their previous scans (which used to look like good quality scanner photo-copies). These scans are literally pictures you can take with your iphone and put into grayscale (it's including my background table and looks like a picture- not a scan like it used to). Why would I purchase the app if the "trials" are so poor quality? At this point I don't want to get ripped off and wind up with iphone-quality pictures for $10 if this is what the "scans" are going to look like. Doesn't save all scanned photosI bought this app to scan thousands of family photos and it works very well for this purpose. I built a light box for my iPad Pro so I just put the next photo on a black background and take a pic. It does a very good job at cropping unless an edge of the photo is very dark. Overall I'm happy with the cropping feature. I found sometimes when I switch apps while in the photo shoot mode, I return to a frozen program. I just Kill and restart the app to fix. A minor bug that's easy to work around. However, sometimes after a restart, the last photo I scanned is missing! And sometimes after a scan, photos are just missing. Today I wanted to text a photo I had just scanned only to find out it was never saved! Worse yet, the two previous scans were also missing. This is not acceptable and my reason for 1 star. Unauthorized charge for AppI was considering purchasing this app but had not decided to yet. Reading the information about the app, it said that the first two scans were free, and then you would be charged $6.99 for the app. So, I downloaded it but I had not tried it out at all. After a few days, I received a receipt for the purchase of the app. They have several different versions, and I hadn’t decided which one I wanted to purchase, and they made that decision for me. I am very alarmed that they have the ability to put that on the app to encourage people. To try it out and then have access to your credit card and apparently the authority to take funds from it. Due to this, I would not recommend this app to anyone. Somethings seem shady. I think they are banking that most people won’t fight a $6.99 charge. Always have to restart phone to email documentsUpdated: 2 stars to 1. Sending me an email about this review telling me to check the FAQ to solve this problem wasn’t helpful. I had already done that and nothing has fixed this issue for me. I’m beyond frustrated with this app, which aside from the following issue is pretty great. Anytime I select to email the scanned document(s) to myself, which I paid extra for, it will not send until I restart my phone. This has been an issue for the last couple of months and the only solution I have found. It’s time consuming and should really be fixed.
