Whether you are a coin or currency collector or dealer, before you buy a coin or banknote online, it is vital to verify its authenticity. That’s where the PCGS Cert Verification mobile app comes in.
The Cert Verification App makes the confirmation process much easier and much faster. Rather than typing in the coin or banknote's certification number, simply scan the barcode (obverse) or QR code (reverse) found on the label or utilize our new Gold Shield NFC Technology to tap and scan a holder with additional security (if available).
With this app, users get access to valuable information, such as a coin’s denomination, date and mintmark, grade, mintage, holder type, PCGS Population and PCGS Price Guide value or a banknote's
Supplemental coin & banknote information may also be available, such as a high resolution images, the last auction appearance and its current presence in any PCGS Set Registry sets.

Great App with problemsIt doesn’t open the association CoinFacts app when clicked ,also already installed and created by the same company, but instead wants me download it each time. Easiest app to use among all the grading companiesSo this app just solidifies why PCGS is the premiere grading service! As a collector I really enjoy being able to pull up the HD pictures of my PCGS graded coins. (Purchased separately). I know this sounds like a review that PCGS wrote. Old Man 64I really like the app and I would have given it 5 stars, but whoever approved the white background and yellow print in the coin verification window in the app spent way too many days at Woodstock! Please change the color of the print to black! I never have had an issue seeing anything with NGC’s app..Version: 2.1.15
Could be greatSet registery borders on being a great app. If there was an easier way to get coins that you have bought and have in your hand registered into your personal collection instead of still in somebody else’s, then it would be great. But as it is, it’s good that possession is 9/10 of the law. And a good receipt is definitely necessary..Version: 2.1.15
50/50Perhaps it’s just me being new. I’m having a little problem scanning PCGS codes. The first time a Silver Proof Quarter came back as a Peace Dollar. I have no peace dollars in my collection.
