Simple and helpfulI have been using this for a few months now and it’s perfect. It keeps me accountable too. I have to look at my bank account everyday and I put in my items everyday. I see when it goes from green to red and it’s helped me see patterns that I didn’t know existed. Like I had no idea I was spending so much on groceries and what I though we needed to cut back on was not a big deal but what was a big deal I would have never seen! I’m now out of credit card debit because of this app alone. My only wish is that I could share the same account on two phones so my husband could have access on his phone at the same time and be updated when I update too. Like a login feature. Best simple money trackerAs someone who doesn’t have a fixed income I literally love this app for money tracking. It’s clean, simple, and having the different categories for different types of spending is an amazing feature! I can see just what I spent for the month which is something I struggled to visualize. I love that adding and subtracting money is really easy too! If you are a young person or teenager looking to keep track of your money I highly recommend!! Things to improve: I really wish they had a way to easily track monthly subscriptions such as Netflix and factor it in automatically. Good app! But…I just downloaded the app and the first thing I have to say is that there was NO tutorial. I had no idea what I was doing for the first 5 minutes and couldn’t figure out how the expenses/income worked. I figured it out eventually but a tutorial would’ve saved me a bit of frustration. Otherwise this app seems pretty reliable and I think I’ll be using it a lot in the future. A side note I would like to add is that I wanted to set mine to dark mode but I have to pay for the pro version to change the appearance of the app?! That just seems stupid to me. Finally what I neededSo look. I’ve made it well into my adult-hood never having a real budget. I used to just check my account balance way to much and limit my guac intake towards the end of the month. This app made it not feel like a panic inducing ‘balance my check book’ kinda thing. It’s easy to use while making your spending a visual play-by-play. I now know where most of my spending goes and can face the facts that left to my own devices I’m not better than an unsupervised child in a toy store. Great look and feel to the appThe only complaint I would have for this app is the recurring options when in dark theme are so confusing. I can’t tell which option is selected. In the regular theme you can see clearly the options you want on recurring charges area green when selected. But the dark theme seems to be randomly gray or darker gray. Almost Perfection!!!This app has been nothing but great for me. I only have suggestions not so much complaints. It would be good if there was an explanation for the features in the settings menu so the app users can better utilize the paid features. The second suggestion is the prediction menu that pops up when leaving a note. It doesn’t give you an option to edit that menu, edit your prediction list or delete items on your predictions list. Almost perfectThe app is easy to use, quick, and accessible. Budget mode makes it easy to track my weekly and monthly budget each time I spend. I actually enjoy using it. However the balance does not change as expected when using the carry over feature or depositing money. Great app for expense trackingI’ve been using Wally before it became all convoluted so I was looking for another expense tracker, and Monefy was just what I was looking for, simple and aesthetically appealing. I do hope there’s an option to remove the income input though since I only want it as an expense tracker. I hope it becomes easier to export it. As of right now, when you click export, it doesn’t even give you the option to email it, which would be the easiest way to transfer it to my pc. Also, would be nice if there were additional icons. Great potential but doesn’t quite meet my needsThe app is well designed, visually appealing and it was rather easy to add bank accounts and custom categories. I would have preferred a sub category option (so I have to option to tally all utilities per time period, or specific ones only). What I need is an app that also tracks the payor for an expense, so I can balance to my bank account and a ‘cleared’ option. More icons?I like this app a lot and purchased the pro version. One thing I wish to have is a more variety of more relatable icons for categories, and be able to choose the color of the each of the available icons. For example, I can’t find an icon that truly represents the category of beauty/makeup/ skin care. They don’t categorized as haircut scissors or toiletries for me. No Religious IconsIt’s actually a great all, but the fact that it doesn’t include any icon or badge for church, temple, or religious categories is severely disappointing. AdsI really want to like this app as I like the actual app and what it does. What I don’t like is constant and I mean constant ads. Open the app get an ad, click continue to the app then I get an ad for premium on sale (a limited time deal that seems to be a deal everyday and every time I open the app) click past that and if you leave the app for even a second guess what? When you comeback ad again and their premium off again. I have been using this for only a few days and tired of the ads being shoved in my face. Pretty much what’s gonna happen from here is I keep using this app is I will never give you money and support you with the way you have your ads set up. I don’t mind getting one a day or every once in a while but not when it’s constant. The other thing that more than likely will be happening is me just going and finding another app. So instead of retaining people and getting some constant flow of ad money you get these very small bursts of ad money that don’t last. Great App… Kinda..So far we have been using this app for almost 2 years now, it has been great it’s helped us a lot keeping track of our finances… However the one issue that we have come across is that if you have to erase a device or get a new device to install this app on and then download your content through dropbox like it describes the secondary device is never balanced correctly again. I would’ve just posted this directly to the developer an email and see if they had a suggestion however there is no way to contact the developer they have a website but there is no contact us there’s just a frequently asked questions page which does not describe in detail how to fix this sort of issue. Does this support multiple devices??I couldn’t find where to ask a question, so I’ll ask here hoping to get a response. I want a simple app that can be installed on my iPhone and my wife’s Android…linked to a single account. So, we can both enter expenses on our own phones and the app will keep track of that. We would then both have real-time updates on expense tracking on our phones so we can easily enter expenses as they occurs, ie paying for gas, buying groceries, etc. I can’t find any info on that, although I saw reference to Family Sharing as an “ad” before writing this review, and I don’t know how that works. Worst thing I foundI did not find this application helpful because sometimes you need to clear your imputed data not your account or any category but this application reset everything when you clear data. Even they don’t have mid market exchange rate synchronisation for dealing with multiple currency, all you have to put by yourself. This application has no multiple device sync system. Design is not user friendly. I got everything except multiple device sync in “money manager” app. I’m not here to advertise money manager but to tell the developers update this feature. Total disasterCalculations are all messed up. My balance seemed off so I did some testing and one of my accounts that had a balance of $0 was adding about $30 to my total balance. If I didn’t “include it in the balance” the numbers added up, but if I did include it, it added $30. Yes, my account with $0 counted as $30 in my total balance. Looks impressive but lacks functionalityI purchased the pro version and this app does not allow you to add multiple users to the same budget, so it’s not very useful for couples who share accounts/bills. You also can’t set budget targets for individual categories of expenses (restaurants, transportation, groceries, etc), meaning that you’re only able to track your global monthly expenses vis-à-vis an overall spending target. Ie. You can’t stipulate a “grocery” budget of $600/month and track how close you are to reaching that point for that category. You only get to see a running total of your spending in each category (without a target) and a overall total of your spending across all categories (with a target). This major oversight renders the categories far less useful and makes sticking to a budget much more difficult. You can very easily overspend in one category without realizing it until it’s too late. I had high hopes for this app but it unfortunately lacks significant functionality..MellaroseVersion: 1.2.2
