Awesome, beautiful designI came across this app and thought it’s just a calculator, however as an artist the design pulled me in. The skins just make using it awesome, not to mention the fact you can back space on a equation if you accidentally type in the wrong number is awesome. No more hitting clear and starting over is awesome in its own right. After that I purchased the rest of the apps. I wish there where more! The rest of my phone looks very boring now. Needs more Calculating possibilitiesThis app is great, it’s fun to use for simple math and it’s nice to look at—but it just doesn’t do the job if you need a real calculator. As someone in school, I need a calculator to be able to do certain things, and this has none of it. Most importantly it doesn’t have brackets, which are one of the most important parts. I would love this so much if I could use it when doing my math as a calculator, but because it’s so incredibly limited I find that I have to stop using it whenever I actually need to calculate something. I can edit my mistakes!I’ve wanted this feature in my calculator for forever- how many times do you end up with the wrong answer because your finger double tapped or didn’t register when tapping in your screen- and there’s no way to check what happened! Well….It’s really cute, can’t lie about that, however, not only do you have to pay monthly to use this app but if you’re really in the need for a calculator for a job or school then I suggest you just use the regular calculator on your phone. Unless I missed some other control or button you need to press to access it, this calculator has practically nothing compared to the free one on your phone. Brackets for example are really important in higher grade math and this app does not have them. You can’t multiply anything by a higher power or work out fractions like you can on the free calculator. Beautiful, at a costHuge fan of Andy Works and the Not Boring line of apps. The UX is just unbelievably good—rich, immersive animation, modern aesthetics, and delightful design. However, I found myself disappointed in this calculator app, for one simple reason: it has significantly less arithmetic functionality than Apple’s built in calculator app. This makes me sad because I would so much prefer to use the Not Boring Calculator, but realistically, I can’t survive on bare-bones basic operators (+ - * /) and a percentage button alone. Wonderful, a bit laggyAs there’s no native app for the iPad, this app is a welcome treat. It is, by far, my favorite of the many calculator apps I’ve tried for the iPad. It’s a unique and fun experience, and most importantly it serves its core function as a calculator. If there’s one con, it’s that there’s a bit of lag, small but noticeable. For a few quick calculations it’s negligible, but if you’re using it for lots of calculations in a row—taxes, homework, etc—it can start to feel frustrating. Thanks for creating a proper Calculator app for iPad!Something that Apple themselves couldn’t do, apparently. Unfortunately, I don’t like your subscription-based model. I understand that with overly high fees on App Store, you’re motivated to introduce things like that but, honestly, from a customer’s perspective the whole concept of paying $20 a year for a bunch of basic functionality apps is just awful. I wish there was an option to get rid of the ads and hide all unavailable skins from the menu. I would gladly pay for something like that an equivalent of $5 USD (as a one-time purchase). A calculator having a subscription is idiotic.I understand the weather app maybe needing a subscription for purchasing and up keeping weather data possibly, but there’s absolutely no reason a calculator and timer should have a subscription fee.
