Best Free Adventure PuzzlesI’ve played every game in this series, getting through each of them in just under a day, (they’re that interesting) so I can faithfully say this series has been getting better and better with each new release. I was surprised with the third and fourth’s new innovations, and while palying the seventh one i couldn’t put off writing a review any longer. Wow!!!! For anyone discouraged by how difficult the puzzles are in the first four games of the series, I’m relieved to say they’ve made the puzzles much less time consuming to figure out, they still rack your brains for clues, but progress is made easier compared to the first game. I was beyond in AWE of the complexity, cleverness, and quality of the puzzles in this installment. Wow. The graphics have also made major improvements, and you get to play the game through the character’s point of view. Absolutely spectacular, and this is coming from someone who rarely enjoys games. Version 1.05 bit glitchy - awaiting full versionI really like this series of games and was looking forward to playing 7, in part because I always wondered if Susan would have any repercussions for leaving her family to go save Lost Lands. Reading the reviews I was prepared for some glitches. iPhone players should be aware that some screens are woefully dark, so adjust your settings accordingly. Maaron’s transporter may be wonderful for him but it is a pita for everyone else, hard to see in some levels and had me longing for runes. Found clues that in earlier games ended up in the journal were often just gone after a brief viewing. Take notes or be prepared to pay for a hint that more or less says “you just saw that clue, you idiot!” If this is the way the game is to be, I would suggest the developers develop a way to recover the said clues without starting over from the beginning of the game. There are also some translation-type issues in what items are called in places where the game is played (ie, in one HOG, there is a “bat” which looks like a golf club to me) The bonus game was good although suffering from the same glitches. Still glad I paid for the bonus game because I enjoyed it. I will definitely pay for the full version once it comes out. I will revise my review when that happens. I despise the F2P SET UPPlease go back to simply purchasing the game! It’s a money gimmick. I personally enjoy the adventure and finding objects better than the puzzles. After my radiation therapy my mind just doesn’t work the same and I need help more along the way but it’s stupid expensive to skip a puzzle and your map is 0 help. At least show us where Our next move is since you’ve got us jumping around so much! Ugh! I’m so disappointed. We wait years for you guys to put out games and this is what you bring us? It’s keeps getting better and betterI was astonished he first time I stumbled across one of your games that it was free, with no ads… i Hines,Ty didn’t believe it until I finished the first one and I was still in shock. I quickly downloaded more and began to binge play them for a while until my life got busy again with school. I finally came back to continue this series with this game about to head off to college now and it blows my mind how I still adore this game and the series to this day. And each game seems to be even more creative and engaging in the story line and puzzles etc. The improvement through each game is incredible! And the puzzles have even become more enjoyable for me personally. And the scenery and overall game design has always been so intriguing and often quite beautiful from the very beginning. Finally, a game series that’s good and mostly free!You are the only game company I know of that does these types of games and gives the player the main story to experience instead of a crappy 5 minute demo that leaves you on a cliffhanger. Personally, I think your games have charm. Lost Lands is my favorite series you have done since you play as a soccer mom with legendary street cred with her friends that consist of a legendary wizard that looks like Gandalf, a happy dwarf, and a cool lady friend. I understand why you charge for the bonus chapter and since you deliver such a good experience I don’t really mind. All I ask is for you to keep making these great games as a F2P. Very addictiveI can’t begin to tell you how much I love these games. The first game was difficult for me because I wasn’t used to a game that had such a large amount of locations to explore and items to find and/or unlock. I finally muddled my way through. On game two, I took notes in a separate journal to try to remember everything, but found that exhausting. By game three, I started to get the hang of it, slowed down, and really made myself pay attention. The stories are interesting, the characters are wonderful, and the graphics are stunning. All time favoriteThis series will always be my favorite for numerous reasons. It’s beautifully made, the puzzles are intriguing without being ridiculously hard and the game is a good length. The animation is beautiful and each scene has so much thought put into it. The story has kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and I hope there are more like this to come. I have spent well over $250 on games alone, trying to find one I enjoyed as much as the lost lands series, which is free. I have yet to find one. I can’t believe it’s free!!❤️❤️I just finished the last in the Lost Lands Series of games. It is suuuuper addicting and I love every minute of it. It’s such a great game and I am stumped, but grateful, that it’s free. There are the usual in app purchase options, but you are not beat over the head to make any of them. You can also purchase a bonus chapter at the end for only $1.99. I did end up going to play it in my ox. The only issue I had was occasionally the game didn’t fit my phone screen well. I’ve really been liking these but…It’s been very vexing to me how small most of the puzzle windows are, which would be tolerable if I could zoom in to see and manipulate the objects. I play this on my iPhone 6 Plus, which has a pretty big screen, for a phone. But in order to see many of the object details - which are critical for solving puzzles - I have to take screen shots, then zoom in on them, while going back and forth with the game. Some of the puzzles have such minute control points on my phone, that my fingers can’t perform the actions because my fingertips aren’t shaped like styluses. I’m 56, this is the first game of this genre that I’ve enjoyedNot only are the stories in this series pretty well done, the game itself is very fun to play. I’m very thankful that the developers didn’t turn this into a money pit. If you are patient and even keep a notepad, you can play without having to get many hints. This chapter was a little annoying but I love the series and all previous chaptersI found that compared to chapters 1-6, which were awesome, this one tended to make the puzzles more tedious and frustrating rather than difficult and challenging. I had to use the auto-solver a few times, and in previous chapters I think maybe used it once or twice in all six combined. Not a fan of F2P formatI was excited to see that a new Lost Lands was out, but I was surprised that the F2P was the only way to play. I decided to try it and decided that it’s just not for me. The game itself seems good, but I don’t like the format. If you don’t like a certain kind of game or you’re just not good at a type of game, you can’t just skip it and move on. It costs money to skip and you can’t get hints during a game. I like a challenge, but sometimes I just want to move on and you can’t do with this format unless you want to pay. HilariousOut of all the lost lands, this one with the upset son storyline made me laugh hard. What a joy to keep going and building on each adventure. I like how necessary the cut screens are. Love the gamesI just finished 1-7 of the games but I did notice that in the bonus of the 7th game I can’t get past a certain point. Great game The entire series is worth the playHighly recommended. I’ve played many of these games and anything from Five-BN has been worth trying IMO The ads are very minimal The challenges are good and not overly complex. This series does NOT force you to spend$$. Criteria I personally find worthy of a solid game. The ads come in the hints. Unlike other games, the ads aren’t overly intrusive and you choose when you see ads (when you ask for hints and even then max 30 secs) The gameplay is engaging and levels 1-8 so far are intertwined. Used to be so much funThe first few games were so much fun. It took a long time to get through the game and not just a few hours. Around the 5th series is when you could tell it wasn’t the same developers. Now I feel like I have to keep watching all these scenes and read too much material. What the heck!!! I signed up for a game, not a book report. Also, the game doesn’t last that long, like they no longer have taken the time to create it. A lot of the puzzles no longer make sense. They will give you dots or colors and basically say “do something”, lol. When you click on the information button to find out what to do, it’s as vague as the puzzle is. WE ARE NOT IN YOUR HEADS! I’ve loved all of them until this oneMany of the puzzles in this one are more annoying than enjoyable. I enjoy challenging ones but not tedious. FrustratingI’ve enjoyed all the Lost Land games but the puzzles in this one frustrate me to the point of wanting to throw my iPad against the wall. I like some challenge but I find these puzzles are unrelenting and many do not make sense. Hardest (and worst) game everI paid $7.00 for coins and even used a walkthrough for hints but the game became so ridiculously hard even hints didn’t help. Once I got into the temple I deleted it. First off, the storyline is very convoluted and I have no idea who this would appeal to. I have most of their games and really enjoyed them, but this one is a total train wreck in the theme and difficulty of the games. And their hint system doesn’t provide where actions are available. So disappointed in 7I have played Lost Land 1-6 without any issues. I was looking forward to play 7 but it won’t function when I get to the room with the TV. Glitch in bonus gameEach time I play the underwater HOP in the bonus game I pull the weights in the clock in the correct sequence, but the pendulum won’t open to give me the key. I’ve tried restarting and even watched a video to make sure I was using the correct sequence. No luck. It’s frustrating. Can’t figure outCan’t figure out how this game is awesome. The graphics and story line are ok. But the puzzles don’t make any sense. The language is terrible and the explanations of how to do puzzles are non existent. Plus the worst part is you can’t do the puzzles because they don’t work. You keep pressing but nothing happens.
