Ro works well - good option

I signed up for Ro Body and so far the service is 100 percent as advertised. With help of provider, I selected Wegovy auto pen due to cost and convenience. After a blood test which is included in the Ro subscription price, I received my Wegovy in the mail within two days direct from the manufacturer. I personally think Ro is pretty good value bc it removes a lot of friction. I looked into getting medication through a primary care doctor but it cost $150 for an office visit and would have had to pay for the labs. Then at least for the first few months, you have to go back to the primary care doctor to get your script re newed . So doing it that way is kinda annoying (need to have a lot of extra time on your hands) and still costs several hundred dollars on a high deductible plan. Furthermore, since Ro is working directly with both Lilly and Novo, you can get the medication sent direct and is always in supply. For me, the customer service has been fine. It seems like it’s pretty much text message based but I’ve gotten all my responses within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend Ro bc the other potentially cheaper routes are just way less convenient. I didn’t do Hims bc they didn’t have a deal with Lilly like Ro and the compounding stuff sketches me out. I was using a compounded topical hair medication and FDA issued a warning on it right after I started using it. I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable injecting a knock off drug vs using a brand with a ton of clinical testing.

Read the fine print, great app 💖

I’ve had an excellent experience so far with RO. I’ve lost 10 pounds in about a month and when I needed a change in something right before my new meds shipped, they held the shipment within five minutes and fixed everything for me. And still delivered on time. Everything I need to use the meds, comes in the package. I know some meds you can probably find a little cheaper (knockoff compound meds), but I’ll take the solid customer service, no headache support with RO. I don’t use insurance. I get everything on time and super fast. Support is very friendly and responsive. App is also easy to navigate with a lot of tools and info. Could be a little better with dose and weight logging/tracking but I digress. Read the fine print. Read all of it. It’s not a scam. Read what happens to your money if you’re not approved. If you’re approved, there’s a monthly membership fee and a fee for your monthly meds. All the similar weight loss apps I came across work off the same exact model. People don’t read.

Quick Responses and Seamless Care

I’ve been using the Ro app for a few weeks now, and overall it’s been a really solid experience. The onboarding process was quick and straightforward, and I was able to connect with a licensed provider without needing an in-person visit. The biggest win for me is how fast everything moves—response times have been consistently quick, and I never feel like I’m waiting around for answers. The app itself is clean, easy to navigate, and keeps everything organized in one place, from messaging to prescriptions. Pricing is also transparent, which makes it easier to plan without surprises. Overall, it’s a convenient and efficient option if you want a streamlined, digital-first way to manage your health.

Ro gave me my life back!

I’m a bit shocked to see the most recent reviews as negative. I did Ro April through today. I lost 47 lbs and met my goal weight. The team was super response (truly a reply within a few hours) and my medication always arrived quickly. Don’t hesitate to get the vials. It was super easy to use. My only feedback is I wish they offered better guidance around off-boarding once you’ve met your goal weight. Even when I canceled my membership there wasn’t even an option to share that I am canceling because “we did it!” I would have honestly kept my membership if had a robust weight MAINTENANCE plan once we reach our goal weight. Overall I’m so thankful for my Ro journey. I’ve tried everything to lose weight and this actually worked!

Seamless.

Signed up at the discounted $45. Subscription charge for the first month. Then it would be the full pumice for additional months, $145. Did my paperwork, doctor reviewed and approved my prescription, the medication cost is NOT included and I read everything on the website so. I was aware of that. Some aren’t reading the information and then complaining and shucking that responsibility onto the RO company. After the doctor wrote and submitted my RX, I received the medication a few days later. It comes to my door monthly via FedEx next day air. No problems. Thankful for the ease of the whole process. I had a question and I submitted the email received a response in the timeframe promised. Thank you, RO. I’m a happy customer/patient.

Thankful

I am grateful for having this membership! Thus far, I have lost 63 pounds. I didn’t think I could lose it on my own and that’s why I enlisted the help of Ro. After doing research via Reddit 😆 I made my decision and have not regretted it. The app has been constantly updated to fix bugs however, from a user perspective one thing I think that would be super helpful is a calendar or tracker of some sort for when you do your injections. The turnaround time for when someone reaches back out to you is too long when you are trying to figure out if you are a day early, late or what have you. I know we should have the responsibility of doing this on our own, however it would be nice to actually see it in the app. Again, I have so grateful and glad I decided to make this investment into myself.

Great, but please let me see a record of injections

This company is wonderful and I have only one complaint. They are quick to respond when I have an issue and I can mostly find what I’m looking for on the app. I can see a record of my Weight entries, but not a record of my injections. Please add the ability to see a record of dates and doses of previous injections so it’s easier to stay on track. Otherwise it’s a really excellent app that works well.

No CSR

There is no number and no chat to have a active conversation with the a customer service representative. I’ve been messaging back and forth with them for days (each response could take up to three days) for something that should be a 20 minute phone call. Update- I was able to get my problem fixed and a refund to accommodate the lost time. I’m going to give it another try since they made it right.

A blessing

I wouldn’t take the time to write a review if I wasn’t genuinely extremely grateful. This is more than an app, it’s a premium service. The smoothest experience from the moment I run into their and completed a form. The fact that they care to fight for your insurance approval just makes a huge difference. Without Ro’s support I couldn’t afford this medication. The app is smooth, easy and practical. This is the real deal. Forever grateful.

LOVE RO

Ro is a answered prayer for me, I was almost hopeless, and depressed I tried everything to lose weight and nothing was working, I saw the Ro Commercial on TV and I prayed so hard and asked God to help me start the program, he gets all of the glory because he is given me the means to be able to do the program and it is changing my life. Thank you so much for being my answered prayer and giving me my life back. God bless each and everyone of you.

This app is great

This app is wonderful. I was able to set up my account, get a blood test and get my results within 3 days! Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover the medication otherwise I would continue using the app. I highly recommend this app if you are looking to try GLP-1s even if you don’t think you’ll be covered it is soo easy to at least check.

Terrible customer service

I started the Ro body program over a month ago. The process took a long time to get started but they did warn me about that so I understood. But now I am on my 5th week and my insurance plan changed so I warned them multiple times via the chat, email AND the phone. Every single person I've talked to is on a completely different page. I finally ended up calling and the woman was like "oh it looks like your insurance update was never properly communicated"......after I sent it multiple times and told them multiple times.....now, they keep telling me "they're looking for a different pharmacy with the medication in stock" I keep telling them that I'm pretty sure they need to restart the authorization process since I got new insurance and NO ONE is listening. It's almost like I'm talking to a computer. Every single person I've talked to has said something completely different. I'm unsure when/if I'll ever get the medication again and now since they won't listen to me, it will be a lot farther out than I had anticipated and I'll have to start completely over on the dosage. Also, they claim they get back to you within 24-48 hours and shut off their phones so you can only email or chat and then they ignore you. I have NO idea when my issue will ever get resolved and honestly it's VERY frustrating.

We’re great for setup but have gone downhill fast.

I was so excited when I found out about Ro and the weight loss program they have. They made it easy to get PAs and get my initial medication arranged. It all pretty much went down hill from there. The app is suuuuper clunky. It asks you to log doses and do checkins on your Home Screen only to give you errors that it’s “too early” since your last shot to do them- well then don’t prompt me to. It also doesn’t let you change any of the information you’ve entered, so for one of my weight logs I hit an 8 instead of a 7 for a number and wouldn’t let me change it, so it looks like I randomly gained 10 lbs one week. They are SLOW to respond to messages and when they do they are so clearly a canned message response it’s infuriating. It misses half of what you asked about or includes multiple things you didn’t ask about at all. For $145/month, not including the medication, I expect a lot better. Would recommend Zepbound in a heartbeat, but safe yourself some frustration and get it somewhere else.

Cops showed up at my house

I joined Ro as many of us have to look at the weight loss shots. I got prescribed a low dose of zepbound and took my first dose and HATED how it made me feel. I felt more depressed, I had 0 appetite and couldn’t eat for 2 days and was nauseous as could be. I cancelled my subscription after 1 week because I just couldn’t live with those side effects. When cancelling my subscription it asked if I was having any side effects and I selected “nauseau and decreased appetite”. Well somehow they decided that that meant I wanted to kill myself and called the police department to do a welfare check because I was going to “cut myself”…..I never said anything about wanting to harm myself. I felt more depressed but I was coping and not at that state of depression. The police department showed up here and woke me up from a dead sleep to make sure I was okay. Thank you to the boys in blue for doing your job, but Ro really dropped the ball on this one. I have never been so disgusted with a company in my life. Sending the cops because someone doesn’t like the side effects? Making up ways I’m going to harm myself? Disgusting.

Update: I finally received my package. Only bc I filed a claim with FedEx. I did not get any help from Ro recovering my lost package. This experience made me to scared to continue my membership. And once the price bumped up to $349 plus $145 when I lowered my dose doesn’t make sense. Bottom line is without having a number to call for customer service is unprofessional. Does the product work? Absolutely. I’m not upset with my results. But I can get this product for $249 on other apps. The first 2 months everything was great! I was charged $145 +$199 for wegovy. My 3rd month I was charged $145 +$349. My fedex tracking shows my package hasn’t moved since 1/27. It’s now 2/2 and still no package that I was suppose to receive in 2 days. This app doesn’t have any phone number to call about my problem. They are blaming fedex bit fedex is saying the sender needs to file a claim. So now I’m out 500 and my package is lost? I’m going to dispute the charges with my bank but this is very frustrating to have this much money tide up and not have any help on their end that isn’t an AI robot.

Pay monthly get meds every other month! No response for weeks

Terrible! They don’t respond or they send in your prescription purposely missing info until they get paid - then you have to wait for someone to respond again. Each month it’s longer and longer so your body isn’t taking the meds the way they’re supposed to… why do we pay monthly to basically get a prescription every other month? RIP OFF! They have con artists running this mess! Was so good at first and I was so hopeful but it progressively gets worse - I am still waiting for them to respond to my pharmacist for last months refill and I just did my check in for this month so that’s how much they don’t give an F about your health and taking the medicine properly. Cheers to another month of being sick because they DO NOT REPLY. My pharmacist has been trying to get ahold of someone for weeks. I write messages over and over asking for updates and crickets… but they will make sure they still get paid!

Irritated and FeistyVersion: 2.11.0
Horrible

These people are horrible. They either don't read the messages you send them, partially read the messages or can't comprehend the messages even though my messages are clear and concise because every action item takes days to complete and is usually done wrong. My pharmacy can never get in touch with their "doctors" for clarification on their prescriptions, even after multiple attempts. There are 10 different people who respond to my messages and none of them are on the same page. Plus, it takes days for anything to actually get done. There's no way to speak with anyone on the phone due to "high customer volume," which is a Ro problem and not my problem. Not worth the $145/mo. I joined for Ozempic prescriptions because it seemed more convenient than going to a physical endocrinologists office. Nope. Every month is just another headache with Ro. And they don't write 3 month prescriptions - monthly only. I assume that's so you don't take the 3 mo prescription and then cancel with Ro. Just go see an endocrinologist!

Signup and become a Prisoner

I canceled my subscription 4 months age and today they charged my new credit card number $528! The credit card that was on file was a credit card that I canceled because Roman continued to try and charge it after I canceled my subscription. The fine print of what you are signing up for says that if you cancel a credit card that has a reoccurring payment on it they have permission to contact VISA or MasterCard etc. and they have to give Roman your newest credit card number. Effectively making you into a prisoner to their subscription. Scum. I sent an email saying I wanted to cancel, and they sent me back instructions on how to do it. The only problem is they say go to the homepage and click on the panel that says care and then body program…. the problem is it doesn’t give you the option for body program and you’re stuck in this loop. I’m afraid they become a scam. I’ve used them for years, but this was the last straw.

Experience

The ads completely hooked me—and they’ll hook you too if you’re not careful. I have insurance through my workplace, and while the company pitched itself as a seamless way to check coverage, it was anything but. They sent the prescription to a local pharmacy without confirming that it required prior authorization. That’s where they trap you. The pharmacy flags the issue, and you’re left chasing RO through a clunky message thread—not live chat. Days go by before they respond, and then they tell you the prior authorization will take 1–2 weeks. By then, guess what? You’re nudged right into the window where you have to pay for a membership. I knew GLP prescriptions often require prior authorization, but the ads made it sound like RO would handle everything quickly and easily. They don’t. If you want real support, skip RO. Book a doctor’s appointment and request it directly. RO drags its feet just long enough to get your money.

BgynxxVersion: 3.16.0
No customer service

The way they do their pricing is extremely deceptive when you start you pay the 45 discounted from 145 for "background work" what that really means is a fake price for nothing charged to your card then the subscription itself is still 145 you haven't paid that what you paid for is something entirely different even though the subscription comes with what that initial 45 gives you still have to pay that and thats not including the medication that is a separate charge. The pricing isn't terrible all together its at least comparable but i would my much rather pay a little more for transparency. their competition lays it all out just use that if you don't wanna be lied to by a company that only cares about profits. Im gonna have to dispute the charge in order to get my money back. If you can afford semaglutide or something like that don't waste your time and money here.

Get ready to spend money

I downloaded the app. It gave me a promotion for $45 for the first month and it would go back up on the second month however, once the doctor approved me, they told me that there is a delay on getting the medication so the only other option is to spend either $99 for another type of shot, or $199 for a second type of shot. So not only have I spent the 45 for the first prescription. I was supposed to get that I never did. But now they are wanting me to spend another $99+ to get a prescription, that who knows, I might not ever even receive, because I’m not receiving this first one. It has been four days since I messaged the provider with no response. I have reached out to Support and now I am doing this review. The way that I see it is if I give you money, I expect a product in return, or a refund if you are unable to fulfill your end of the purchase agreement. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Rachel_MoneyyyVersion: 2.11.0
App needs work

There’s no habit tracker in the app like some of their competitors have, the order history in the app is not kept up to date. Message alerts don’t appear in the app, for many things the website had better information. “Your curriculum” (info and tips about whatever it is you’re using Ro for) is not in the app that I’ve found, however it’s on the main page on the website. Like others have mentioned, typing messages in the app is weird and doesn’t automatically give a space like typing in anything else with an iPhone. There’s no place in the app to go and review data you’ve entered (sort of goes along with my first point of no habit trackers). My overall experience outside of the app has been fine, but the app could definitely use some work.

SCAM!!

SCAM ALERT!!!!! I was extremely excited to sign up with them, but boy did things turn to the dark side. After answering a series of questions for medication I was looking for I I was told I had to pay $99 to get my results. After paying, they told me that it would take 2 to 3 days to find out my results. It has now been two weeks. I’ve emailed them and I’ve gotten no response. I try logging into my account and they say I don’t have an account. I’ve tried emailing again and I get no response. Essentially, they stole my $99, I have no clue who to contact and it seems like when I contact support they have zero interest in responding. I want my money back. This company is a scam and I implore anyone to stay away. There are a lot more options. I’ve given them an ample amount of time to resolve the situation and I’m convinced now that they have just stolen my money and I’m probably not the only one.

Medical Gaslighting

I used Ro for 9 weeks. After reporting symptoms of dizziness, headaches, and extreme fatigue, week after week with no concern or solution, I decided to purchase an at home glucose monitor because I have been very concerned with my health even though the supposed doctors and RN’s on the Ro chat didn’t seem concerned. Turns out, my blood sugar was plummeting and am the “rare” case of hypoglycemia. I was told by the RN that I should quit the medication if blood sugars are low. I gave them a screenshot of my blood sugars which were clearly below 70 for over 3 hours of the day and then he told me they looked reasonable and if I don’t have diabetes that this device isn’t necessary. He wasn’t adept enough to see that I don’t have diabetes, something that should be a main part of my profile. This is not medical care folks. Not recommended

Highly disorganized, terrible customer service

Too exasperated to explain this in detail. In a nutshell: I notified Ro of new insurance 3 weeks before my prescription. They told me it was updated and it was not. I chased them for the next 4 weeks (missing 2 doses) and finally got them to get my insurance in the system. This is a pattern of behavior (there were other things- non responsiveness to refills when I had issues and needed it resubmitted, appointments that should have been video just being a questionnaire, lack of instructions on how to actually use the drug - this has been fixed - an app that is half finished and still doesn’t auto-update, scale came 2 months into the program instead of when I signed up). Overall, absolutely does not meet my expectations when I am spending $1200/mo on a service.

Smpat04Version: 1.7.0
My experience with RO

I’m sharing my experience to help others avoid unexpected charges with Ro Health. I was billed a membership fee on March 17, even though I had already been charged for and received my monthly medication on March 1. I did not use any services associated with the membership after that charge. The only reason the charge went through was because I had updated my credit card information. I reached out to clarify the charge and asked about alternatives such as using manufacturer coupons or other prescribing options, but was told those were not supported. Given that, the membership offers very limited value while still being relatively expensive. I also explained that I had not used the service during that billing period and requested a refund, especially given my financial situation. Unfortunately, the charge was not reversed, leaving me to escalate the issue to my credit card company. From my perspective, being charged for a subscription without receiving any meaningful service is concerning. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Ro carefully review their billing practices, membership terms, and refund policies before signing up.

Follow up takes TOO long

I have been trying to get reimbursed from my FSA and messages back and forth have taken over a week. Sometimes go days without a response. Last response Dr apologized had a family emergency? Do you all have more than one doctor who can help or view my medical history I self filled in? Get the letter and is not accurate. Asked for a redo and Again days before a response. They take your money for a membership and don’t really do much other than approve you for medication. Also cannot view historical tracking of when you give your shot or give reminders. RO, you can do better than this. If you want a program that can get you meds and not much more, RO is your answer.

Adk72Version: 3.33.0
Terrible Customer Service

The only way that Ro provides you to communicate with them is via email or through in-app messaging. There is no way to speak live to a person. And, when things are working, that’s probably fine. But if you have any type of problem AT ALL that needs to be resolved, good luck! Response times after messaging is 5-8 business days. So you send a message needing help…5-8 business days. They reply back to you and you need to respond…5-8 business days. And on and on. This is no way to run a business or provide customer support. Don’t waste your time or money with them. None of what they offer is cheap…but with a higher cost you would expect better service…and that just doesn’t play out.

First month great, after that WASTE

The first month using insurance they do all the work for you and that is very nice. It took a whole month to get approved so really your “free” month is wasted. After the first month they will become insanely impossible to help because it’s all done through generated chats and it takes a while for responses. Honestly this feels like a way to just get your money and if you can’t use another company I’d suggest that. After first month my drs didn’t even send anything for the insurance or have my prior authorization any longer, so now I am having to redo the entire process which is making me not be able to stay on track with medication. Waste waste waste. Will be searching for a different company.

Don’t fall into this scam

It’s not what they said it’s, you have to pay $145 monthly for a “membership” to get your medication, plus you have to pay additional costs to get the medication, not discounts, not benefits at all. Until I emailed them asking when I will be receiving my medication, they explained me how they work, initially they take $45 saying that it will be discounted from your medication cost, it’s a lie, they also say that if you are not approved or don’t receive the medication they will refund your money, it’s also a lie. I didn’t receive any service from them, I cancelled the “membership” that I never agreed to in less that 48hrs when I realized the scam and asked for a refund of the $45 and they’re denying to do it. I’m contacting my credit card and consumer report about this company.

Disappointed

I started using this app in April when I did a consultation for ozempic which I thought was pretty easy. I just finished my 2nd month and have been waiting for my prescription which I was supposed to start 3 days ago never submitted even though my response was done 12 days ago. I kept receiving messages that it was submitted (it wasn’t), then I had someone send me a message and call me by another name with none of the correct info, so I’m assuming she was confused. I have been writing to them for 10 days to see what is going on and I keep getting a response from different people, with no accurate information, but my card was easily charged with no problem. I am very disappointed and will be disputing the charge on my card. Go somewhere else for online medication

Overheating on iOS

I have found that this app is causing a major overheating issue on my iPhone 14 Pro. Within 60 seconds I can feel the left rear side, just south of the volume down button, begin to heat up. After about 2 minutes of just having the app open, iOS dims the screen to try and manage heat. Battery percentage will drop from 100% to 98% at 5 minutes. When I get to 10 minutes, the battery percentage will drop 1%-2% per minute. I haven’t left it running for more than 12 or 13 minutes because I don’t want to cook the phone. No issues on the web interface. I do see a jump in power usage on my iPad Pro but it’s heat dissipation is far better.

Terrible at the basics, plus the rest

Terrible support (not if, but) WHEN you have issues. No number, no live chat, just a bunch of useless articles to fumble around through. The messaging system is suddenly saying I can even leave a message because they are overwhelmed and busy; literally! So I’m passing $150/mo a a discount rate while they fumble around and don’t give me any service that whole month, plus no refunds ? Great. Now I’ve spent hours on the app trying to navigate how to simply update the pharmacy info they got wrong, to never even asked so my Rx went to CT infatuated of where I live in SC. Idek how that happens, but apparently neither do they, nor do they seem to care since there is no way to contact anyone to fix it and Get my meds. 0/10 recommend

You are NOT approved

After a friend suggested I try Ro, I downloaded the app and began the first phase of questions. Immediately received “You’re approved!” It clearly stated you would not be charged until you were notified of Rx costs. Not so. Couldn’t see anything until I paid the first months fee of $45; answered additional health questions about my previous health questionnaire and submitted. Then, there it was “you are not approved with your insurance”. Although I had already submitted my insurance info prior to $45. Do NOT do this!! It’s a scam for all the $45’ers!! GO TO A DOCTOR!!! You don’t even get seen by a doctor nor monitored by a Dr during meds!! I should have known better! My niece is a Pharmacist and appalled and afraid of this concept!!! Like a drug dealer online! Shame on you Ro.

Not good quality prescriptions

I am unsatisfied with my prescriptions from Ro. I believe the GLP-1/semiglutide medications this company is sending out are diluted to make it not as potent and does not work the same as getting it from your regular cvs or any other pharmacy. I think they do this so it cuts down on cost for them and makes you keep needing a refill. I was on .25 of semi from an in person doctor and I never felt hungry and if I over ate I got sick. I have tried the .25 from Ro for 2 months and actually upped it to .5 and was still always hungry and never had not one side effect. I tried to tell them in the chat and they just ignored it and tried to prescribe me a higher dose which I already was doing.

Abysmal service.

Don’t expect to get anything done with Ro. I began service with Ro on around January 1, and as of today and probably for a while, I still have not made it to the finish line with getting my medication. Their insurance coordinators have no idea what they’re doing, which will delay anything getting done. They are VERY inconsistent about what they reply to, as I’ve been replied to within 7 minutes, or (typically) 4 days. If you work Monday-Friday for this company, do your job. Stop picking and choosing who gets service based off of they use insurance or not. I’d bet money that people who use their own money get their meds within the week. If you’re using insurance, I wish I could tell how long it took. Currently I’m on week 3, soon week 4.

App needs work!

App is not so great. I keep getting different people communicating with me. It’d be nice to use same person often. 2-3 people is sufficient but seems like we all Have 20 plus people working on messages with us. The only best thing about ro is they do work with pharmacy and get my ozempic on time. They text me often a few times with links saying it’s time to check in And there nothing leading me to check in. I keep sending them nesssges that the app needs work. And links do not take me to check in or takes me to where it says my plan is expired. $145 a month, really I expect most from RO app and proper links that actually works.

Support was lacking

I felt like I was ignored with general questions when it came to billing/how I’d be charged going forward , and pharmacy forgot to include alcohol swabs, I never did get an explanation or they said they’d ask pharmacy and never heard back. My doctor finally responded after I already cancelled my membership but I didn’t want to keep going because I didn’t feel there was communication with anyone on the app messages. So it left me discouraged on continuing when I wasn’t hearing back. I also kinda felt light headed at times, so much I had to automatically sit down or fall on my bed. I probably wouldn’t do it again as I don’t see it worth it or enough of a noticeable diet change.

Don't use

My sister recommended me to this service with the hopes of getting GLP-1 for weight loss. After signing up, I realized there was no way to set an appt or talk directly with a provider; all of there communication is text based and can take 3-10days before someone even gets around to responding. They always have someone different respond, so the communication gets jumbled. Also, they bill you monthly and make the communication confusing to begin with so they can get more money from you- and even better their "insurance support team" basically drags their feet and works at a snails pace since to coerce you to just buy the medication cash. Stay away! Not a good company or service.

Misleading pricing.

From 149$/month then at third dose jumps up to 500$ a month because they force you to pay an insane membership fee of 150/month PLUS the medication jumps up to 388/ month. This is NOT stated when you start. When you reach out for support or complaints you ONLY GET robotic responses instead of human. They write you a prescription but won’t give you that prescription to use elsewhere. They lied to me in beginning stating my insurance was old cover with a pre authorization. My insurance also confirmed with me they would. Then Ro said no that’s not true but my insurance never recieved anything. The site is nothing but lies and misrepresentation. I asked for a complaint form and was denied as well

Lack of Transparency and unethical billing

Ro has a serious transparency problem. Pricing is not clearly disclosed upfront, and the sign-up process feels designed to push users quickly into a monthly subscription without fully understanding the cost. What’s especially troubling is that Ro refused to issue a refund within two hours of signing up, despite no meaningful service being provided in that time. Hiding behind rigid policies instead of applying basic fairness is unacceptable—especially for a healthcare-related app, which should be held to higher ethical standards. This experience felt misleading and unethical. I strongly recommend reading the fine print and thinking twice before subscribin

**App review** Disappointing!

I’m shocked to see such a high rating of Ro on the App Store, but I think it’s because A LOT of the reviews are on Ro itself, the services they provide, the medications, etc. This review is about the app only. It’s shockingly bad for a company that will sink so much $$ into ads featuring celebrities and athletes (not saying there’s anything wrong with that), but somehow they can’t offer a halfway decent app. There’s glaringly basic things like the “dose logging” section that - for some reason - is located in the “goals” section… go ahead and log your last shot, but you won’t be able to see it recorded or find any record at all of past doses you logged. Maybe people assume Ro providers can see it on their end, but who knows? That’s kind of beside the point though because some people just really want to see their injection dates to stay on track. This is so simple, basic and obvious that I have to assume they literally don’t care about the app at all… which makes sense given it doesn’t make (or lose) them money. But for a reputable company, a good brand, etc., they can - and should - do better. The weight tracking section is unimpressive - you’re better off finding another app for tracking weight loss progress because there’s a ton out there that are also free and are way better than this. Their notifications and messages come across in a confusing way. The basic organization of the app and accessing its different sections and features is borderline nonsensical. Overall, the functionality of the app is subpar. I understand that there’s a risk of having an overwhelming amount of information and features on an app like this, but I guess they decided to go the opposite direction and offer basically nothing for the people who shell out a lot of money for their products and services. Honestly it’s embarrassing for them. Maybe they should consider hiring a few Gen Zers to upgrade their app - it really shouldn’t be that hard… and would be a tiny drop in the bucket to their bottom line. Disappointing!!

Bad Customer service

The body program started out well. I have had a terrible time getting prescription issues resolved, however. I’m several months in, and I am fighting with the pharmacy to get refills at the proper dosage. The messaging feature, which the ONLY way to communicate problems, is frustrating because it takes days to get responses to questions. And if the person who responds doesn’t address the issues, it take even more days to wait for someone else to respond. I would never do this again. The program doesn’t live up to its potential.

SMRHillVersion: 1.10.0
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. SCAM. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

You pay a criminal amount of money a month NOT including whatever medication you’re getting, JUST for the “body program” which is nothing more than some videos you could find for free on the internet and for the ability to “contact your healthcare team” if you have questions/want updates- EXCEPT, no one ever responds. I sent three messages over a week, nothing. I write to customer service, nothing. They are charging me for literally NO COMMUNICATION and this is the biggest scam I’ve ever fallen for. Ridiculous. It’s also nearly impossible to cancel your account and it’s just so gross that they’re doing this to people who need medications…

Good idea, still out of price range

The app itself costs $150/month, in addition to whatever the meds will cost (which started at $150/month for me and gradually went up to $200/month as dosage increased). So the total for me would have been $300-$350/month. It’s just more than I can personally afford. If you only needed to check in with a doctor once every 3 or 6 months, so that you only paid for the medicine the rest of the time, I’d invest in myself. As the pricing is it would be almost $4,000 a year for me.

Liars

Make sure you call your insurance to make sure they don’t have their meds on the exempt list. Cause these people will not tell you that their meds are mostly NOT covered by insurance. So make sure to call first before giving them your money cause when you do and they keep you hanging for three weeks just to tell you, your insurance won’t work and then want you to pay full price. When you tell them again you can’t afford $400 a month plus their $145 they keep your money tell you your out of luck and move on. Just reinforces you should just stick with real drs and not these fast food shmucks. Good luck folks.

Worthless product

This product is absolutely nothing. They kept charging me and charging me. I told them it’s not doing anything. They gave me a different pill and it didn’t do anything and it kept charging me and charging me and I told them I’m unsatisfied. I want a refund they refuse to give me a refund until I told him I was gonna pursue legal actions and then they gave me one refund of the six or seven I paid for so they are a worthless product and will not work with you to refund you if that does not work I would say it’s best to do research and find someone who will actually work with you and refund you if the product doesn’t work.

BerserkGokuVersion: 3.70.0
Very unhelpful communication

Loved that ro was able to work with my insurance to get my medication covered, that being said, the nurses and doctors don’t seem to even read any messages or concerns that I’ve reached out about. They literally all just send “copy and paste” symptom aid that has been sent eight times to me already. Maybe actually read my messages? I’m paying $140 a month for them to “help”. To get a refill it takes over a week and you can’t talk to anyone and they don’t response to your pharmacy if your pharmacy reaches out either. Giving them a few more weeks before I cancel, this is ridiculous.

Let Down

I think these companies should be a more transparent and forth coming up front about explaining everything; what to expect, what the price/prices include. Doing great in one area does not mean you can drop the ball in the others. That is unprofessional and unacceptable. You can’t assume everyone comes into this with full knowledge; or take advantage of those that do not. You have potential. This is a much needed product. A way to ask questions before making the decision would help.

DesidianVersion: 3.15.0
Scam. Don’t bother.

Doesn’t actually provide treatment unless you are buying for full price from the company. It makes sense. Why would they provide treatment unless they were making the profit. No option to use insurance. And when you choose to send a medication to a local pharmacy so it an be covered by insurance, they message you very quickly to say it’s not possible to do so. Maybe update your “choices” so people know ahead of time, and don’t enter their payment information. This is just a personal information grab and a way to get you to download yet another useless scam app. Go see a real doctor!
