LikeableThis workout is “a keeper”. Wish I had known more about the Just Fit app before I fell down “that Rabbit Hole”. It is important for the exercise app to take into consideration the age and limitations of the person that will be exercising like I am confident this app has. Just Fit is a lot more fast paced and jumps right in with “planking” which is something you should not try straight out of the gate unless you have experience. This app should be the “One” for those looking for a good start-up program..Version: 1.1.5
Straight to it!I’m sooo tired of these “free workouts” that are not free! This is the best, even though it’s only free for a trial period you get exercises tailored for you. I have already started and am enjoying the workouts. Some of the questions are too specific, for example, for health reasons I can’t eat red meat, eggs, onions,tomatoes,chocolate or garlic and I’m allergic to mushrooms, so the question about the type of diet you follow didn’t get a correct response. I eat vegan burgers, vegan hot dogs and vegan and “real chicken” , turkey and fish. Some days I drink water all day, some days, maybe just 1 or 2 bottles, I walk at least a mile each way on the days I do walk. Types of exercise you prefer to do could be multiple choice, I don’t want to do any jumping, but I also don’t want to use any equipment, these are just some suggestions, I didn’t give 5 stars because it’s advertised “free” and it’s only a week free trial, I’ll enjoy my free trial then back to the Y , which is free under my insurance plan, this was ideal because you can do these very quickly in your own home, without traveling anywhere, even though it’s not “free” , thank you for the opportunity to experience this, also you don’t have to give up any credit card information when you start your free trial! Weight loss or gain?I’m confused. I downloaded the app. To get started they ask various questions. Ur age, body shape, weight & height… and they ask you what parts of ur body you want to change, then shows u a graph of where u are now & where u want to be & it gives u ur goal date & ur goal weight achievement date. Then they ask if u aren’t happy with what u see when u look in a full length mirror. And they show a heavyset woman. Then they show a few slides of woman with captions & all captions refer to weight loss. Then they show a heavy set woman’s body transform to a thinner, curvier womans body. After giving all my info & captions acknowledging my low weight, bmi etc… and on the same graph asking me my goal weight, it’s right below the aggressive work out weight. So with alllll that info.. indicating & computing a daily work out schedule with various simple exercises & after trying to force u to buy an assortment of pkg’s - i finally get back to the free trial just to see, again my regimen & a heavyset woman’s body-which is like 5 of me & end result of a smaller curvy woman who is bigger than i am now. So how does this app benefit me? Someone with a high metabolism, underweight my whole life, low bmi & thin arms? Following their recommendation in excercise will make me into a skeleton? Uninstalling & pls unsubscribe me.Version: 2.2.1
Deceptive even though they have a great product!I would love to give this app a five star rating. It truly deserves it… However, I cannot do that due to the deception within the app itself! You advertise that you do weekly, monthly, three month interval and yearly subscriptions… Yet when your trial runs out, your forced to do a yearly because it will not let you do anything else, due to this fact, I will not buy a subscription! If I had an option?… Perhaps then I would’ve done that with the right discount… But because that option was completely removed from me after stating that’s what you offer in your own write up… I just can’t support that. I’m sure there are many people out there just like me who do not always use apps… I’m in the gym a great deal! But I do love being able to do this app at home when I want to do a little something extra or when I don’t have time to make it to the gym so that I can stay on track. It’s truly sad that you’ve chosen deception when it’s time to renew only allowing someone to buy the most expensive subscription that you have.! The MUSIC only reason it doesn’t get a 5 Star rating.I got this app last year, 2023. I loved it! But never got around to rating it. The music was great, the workouts were great, the recipes and the fact you could switch recipes out was great! I lost 50 pounds! At the beginning of 2024, they change the music from lively, upbeat, peppy tempo, to a slow funeral dirge designed to put you to sleep. NOT good music to work out to at all. I wrote to the developers several times, their daily nutrition quizzes note that lively, upbeat tempo music helps a workout, and I have gotten a response every time I asked about the music, that they “are working on it”. There have been several updates, and they fix bugs, but they never fix the option to pick your own workout music like they give you the option to different recipes to fix during the day. It would not be that hard to give us the option to pick the music from last year versus the music from this year. I still have 50 more pounds to lose, and the workouts are just harder for me to get enthused about doing to a slow paced, slow beat tempo designed to put me to sleep. If they Get this bug fixed, I will come back and rerate this app and update my review. Until then, instead of a 5 star rating, it gets a 3. I have not lost any of the 2nd 50 pounds I still need to lose yet, just hard to get into the workouts like I did last year. Love it but Wish it had…This a great chair fitness workout especially of you combine it with some of the other workout offerings of you are able to tolerate them. I wish it had a simple suggestion daily meal tip. New StartThis is a great way for me to get back in shape. In my early 50s, I was going into the menopause stage along with tired of rushing from work to my gym before classes started, I. e., Step, Kickboxing, Group floor routines, etc. After approximately 27 years attending a gym program … I stopped the workouts to take a break. Not bad could be betterI just recently started to use this app it was also a good deal $40/year, I’ve been wanting to try and for that price I pulled the trigger. I like the easement of the workouts and minimal workout supplies. I pick from a variety of workouts to do daily which I like. The music however is TERRIBLE! The music is lullaby music like you here in a relaxing spa, NOT good for working out and it’s the same lullaby for Every workout. Also there needs to be an explanation for some of these workouts or show an alternative way not everyone is flexible..Version: 2.2.7
No cancellations!!They told me I could cancel at anytime. After day 4 I tried to cancel it didn’t happen. I tried after day 5, 6, but still couldn’t cancel on the 7th I was charged. I’m still trying to cancel but the app will not allow me to do so. You can’t reach customer service. So there is no free 7 day trial once you agree for the trial they have you. Meal planner optionThank you making the changes to the meal planner. Having the ability to build a weekly shopping list is incredibly helpful. Also, I love the addition of swapping recipes. I do not eat fish and now I can customize the meal options to what I can eat. I gave the app a five star rating because the recipes are terrific. Beginning this journeyPraying this journey will help me to lose weight and be able to walk without my walker and stand up straight. 4 back surgeries and permanent nerve damage has kept me in a chair. Need to allow for food sensitivity and allergiesThe exercise program is gentle, but I definitely felt it. Also I have difficulty getting on and off the floor so will have to do those on another surface. My main concern is the recipes that are offered to help with weight loss. I purchased a year plan and once I finished the first 28 days, it no longer advanced to new daily workouts. All I can do is click on the yoga tab and choose from the limited extra plans in that area.
