Great App I love itI love this app but it has one single fault NO SORTING FEATURE This should be a given ability for an app of this type. I make several recordings at a time 10-15 in a give time frame then as I go back to rename them from “My Recording” I regularly find they have been jumbled up with no rhyme to the new order. I currently have over 300 recordings and searching through all of them to find the ones I just made is a big pain. I would think having even a default sort field in the settings would be easy to do. Dynamic sorting would not have to be there but a static choice in settings would be good something I would pay for.MacjjanesVersion: 3.0.3

Needs a 15 second rewindI've been very impressed with this app and have used it quite extensively for recording meetings that I am the secretary and scribe for. The major drawback that I have is to rewind and re-listen to something that had already been said during the meeting. It would be agreat asset to me if the developer could add a 15 second rewind to the interface. My problem of not being able to accurately go back without going back too far makes my task of transcribing the meetings too time consuming. The Need For a Update!QuickVoice is an app that I love and at the same time REALLY want it to get a modern update. I really like the ability to email recordings and the ability to manipulate the sound quality. This makes it easy to shrink recordings to send them and to increase the sound quality when in a busy place to get rid of some of the distortion. However, the look of the app is incredibly dated. Can not put a title on my notesI use to be able to put the name of my recording. Now all of a sudden when I try it the save and cancel buttons are at the top of my page and it won’t allow me to bring it down to tap on it. It’s as if the page is too big for my tablet and it only sticks out far enough for me to see what it is , but not enough for me to tap on it. This is a mess. Minor Tweaks NeededI love this app and use it often. However, there are a few challenges such as how files are listed and cannot be sorted. It makes it a challenge to find certain recordings. Also if a file is mistakenly deleted there has to be a fail-safe put in place to retrieve the file; especially since the app will sort the files in a random manner. Great app, but wish rewind was more accurateI think this is a great app, doesn’t use that much memory or battery when recording. I also use it for meetings, and when transcribing them, rewind is not so accurate so I end up listening to the same thing over and over trying to get to the place I want. Pretty Good!So. I read the negative reviews here - but a positive review on another forum. So - I really needed a memo program after using one on my treo for years. So, this program just works. and it works well - unless you have a quiet voice. I tried it when i was in the living room with my daughter - so i was kinda being quiet so i wouldn't interrupt her. and the playback i could not hear anything. Then later - I tried it in a more realistic setting for me - which is driving my car - and needing to make audio notes. and it works awesome! even with the radio on loud - my voice comes through loud and clear. I wish it worked better for when i talk quiet - then i would give it a five. but for what it is - i think it is very good. 4 stars. Transfering the recordings to DropBox or computerI have been using this app for a few months now. It is an excellent app for recording voice memos and lectures. However, there does not seem to be a way to transfer these recordings from my iPad to my computer. Even uploading to Dropbox fails. This app does not appear in the iTunes app list of the device, so recordings cannot be copied to the computer. Tried to open the recording in another app, which also did not work. Uploading to dropbox also failed. If the developers do read these reviews, please help. ShameReading previous reviews and I can see I’m not the only with this issue and I will be reaching out to apple for a refund for paying for the iCloud feature Idc if it’s been over a year, it clearly doesn’t work and there’s no one to get in contact with. Last app update 7 months ago. I’ve had the QuickVoice app on my iphone for years. I have the iCloud feature turned on in Settings in the app. In my iCloud settings the QuickVoice app is turned on to backup the info on the app and I had to pay for this feature to be able to back up all my years worth of recordings. Now on my new iPhone after restoring from a backup 4 different times and transferring data from my old iPhone, the app is not showing any of my previous recordings and it doesn’t show they are loading. I even recorded a test record and it did show. I’m currently using an iPhone 12 Pro Max. My old iPhone is an iPhone XS Max and before that it was an iPhone 6 Plus and an iPhone 4. Company not in business???I’m posting this hoping the developer sees this. I tried to contact through the website, and it goes to a page saying the website is for sale when you submit the form. (Although oddly it’s a different website address with a dash). Previous rating was 5 stars. I’ve used this since probably since 2012. Easy for a quick recording and does well recording voice, choir, and pipe organ performances. Can choose high quality setting and email to self easily. PROBLEM: suddenly in the last couple months, it deleted all of my recordings going back 8 YEARS!!! OMG. ALL GONE. 😭 — and it seems the software is deleting my files every single night. — this is why I tried to contact the developer to see if there’s a setting I need to change which I couldn’t find in my iPhone/QuickVoice settings. Sadly, I think I’m going to have to find a new recorder. But honestly it might be for the best since there was no sorting feature in this and it would organize it haphazardly not even in chronological order. Bummed. Ps. Not worth tiThis recorder has good sound quality, however the app is worthless as it does not allow you to upload or email recordings longer than five minutes. It also makes it impossible to transfer those files to your iTunes during a sync. There is no way to edit a recording that is longer than five minutes, rendering it totally impossible to save any long important recording. QuickVoice Erased my Entire 5 Year HistoryI had about five years’ worth of memos. When I opened the app a week ago, they had all disappeared. I thought it was an issue with iOS updates, but it wasn’t. This app has no support, either. I tried to email them via their website and after hitting submit, I was taken to a page whose domain is for sale. I am livid. I had irreplaceable memos on their from a time before I lost my voice. I will never get my voice back and it is looking like I’ll never recover these memos either. I had about 60 saved and they will not load from my iCloud backup. ContactI have been trying to contact the people on the website for feedback to ask general information about the app it keeps giving me a error page so I will post here I have quick voice with all my nursing lecture material on it. HorribleFor several years I used this recorder without fail, and have many many recordings that were very important! Recording stops if someone calls you in the middleCome on, this is a no-brainer. they should have seen this coming. It's really an annoyance if you forget to set your phone to airplane mode before recording and then someone calls you and you end up having the error message of "the recording stopped unexpectedly". Used my email to contact me without permissionI had used quickvoice to send a sound file or two within the application and am now receiving product notifications from quickvoice. There were no terms or posted privacy policy within the application and felt this was am unscrupulous way to use my contact information which they did not gain my consent to contact me at. Even the receipient of my voice message got spammed by the creators of this software and did not use the software or an iPhone. He just received a message via quick voice to me. Can't get off iPadWorks as stated except near impossible to get recording off the iPad if it is more than 30 seconds long. I spent hours trying to get my recordings off my iPad. Lame.I'm not trying to be mean here but unless I'm missing something I don't see any advantage to having this over the included Voice Memos app (at least it was included with my iPod Touch 4th gen, which is what this review is based on) and the incredibly awesome yet FREE Dragon Dict app. If this app did the same things as the aforementioned apps but in an easier fashion and/or with fewer steps, I'd gladly give it higher ratings, but it doesn't, it just does the same things but a different way and IMO this app and it's pay version are definitely inferior. Piece of Junk!I recorded something, paid for the upgrade to the pro which said it would then allow me to export the file. WRONG! it does not let you do this so now i’ve paid for an app that doesn’t export recordings and it’s useless to me. Thanks rip off team! Their customer service contact through the app and directly on their website don’t work, when you hit submit it comes up with an error and the message isn’t sent so you have no way to contact them. Losing Recordings.Today.
