Still like it after four yearsFrom five stars to four with latest cosmetic changes. This is one of my favorite apps. It makes my monthly expense report fast, easy and accurate! I love being able to enter expenses on the spot and snapshotting the receipt so I never lose one now and I love having multiple regular account reports. Exporting to CSV also allows me to easily import into an Excel sheet for company forms. Purchasing the PDF addin was an absolute necessity. I still think it would be nice to 1) sync with desktop and other devices, 2) have OCR capability to automatically read amounts from photo scans, 3) for mileage charges, need to be able to enter odometer readings AND rate to calculate AND add note to comments. Photos of full page receipts (e.g. hotel receipts) are sometimes less clear when printed out or PDF'd. Even so, I still love this app! Well worth the money..LEAD360Version: 9.2.2

The best App ever! Easy to use, and effective.This is a very effective app. It works very well, and I am extremely happy with it. I have used it for many years. Even better, their customer support is second to none. I am not just saying this, but this is absolutely true. Still the best!This is a must have! Being able to analyze your spending and your earnings helps you identify what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong. If you nail this, the money you invest in this app is recovered immediately. Also, I have discovered duplicated charges that some establishments try to charge most of the times by mistake, but stil... and this app has helped me! One of the best expense tracking app on iOSI have been using this app since 2009. In my opinion, it is one of the best expense tracking app out there. It helps you to track expense, manage budget, income and cash flow. The visualization of this app has been improving since a decade ago. Unable to Log InI’ve used this App “forever”, it is easy to use and a great way to track my expenses. Yesterday, I noticed the App wasn’t synching between my iPhone and iPad. I tried to sync, but had to log out of the App on the iPad. When I tried to log back in, I received a pop-up advising me it wasn’t in the right format. P.S. Great app butPlease fix the auto photo feature. It just doesn’t work unless the receipt is absolutely perfectly flat and against the perfect background, which almost never happens. So it takes two, three, sometimes four attempts and I usually have to just turn off the auto and switch to manual every time. Back Up BlessingsOk first off I’m not really into leaving reviews or at times even giving stars, on this one though this group gets both 5 star and an awesome review for the excellent customer support! For some reason the data on my phone erased all of 2019 and panicked because we needed the expenses. After contacting support I really didn’t think I would here anything back especially with everything we have going on now in the world. Michelle from the support team replied to every email and question I had with suggestions to get things back up. Great App but needs to fix defaultI love this app and have been using it for years. I’ve also been complaining about the default position of the cursor when you open a new record - it’s always on the second line (the vendor). This means that you have to physically move it to the line above where you fill out the expense/credit amount. Why can’t the cursor be on that first item to begin with and then move down automatically as you fill the info in?.PagalpanchiVersion: 9.5.5

Pretty good. Worthwhile.All in all, it’s good. Has major syncing issues though; pictures often don’t sync, and they often only remain in the original device which entered in the picture(s). When in sync mode, inputting can be extremely slow after pressing “save” (up to 45 seconds sometimes), so it makes multiple sequential inputting inconvenient sometimes. If entering multiple pictures, it only lets you do one at a time, which is kinda inconvenient. It should allow the user to tap as many pictures as you want—all at the same time. I use this every day, and make several entries a day. I love it, and with a little tweaking, it’d be near perfect. The search options is very useful and well designed. All in all, it’s well worth it, and a useful tool. Note: I have thousands of entries in this, so in its defense, I may be taking It to its limit..Ed747Version: 9.2.8

Longtime UserI’ve used this app for 7+ years. It’s great when working. Recently the family sync feature hasn’t been working consistently and to correct they recommend logging out and logging back in. Now I’m locked out of my account because of an error on their side that says “The data couldn’t be read because it isn’t in the correct format”. Great AppEdit: I hope the developers see this comment so here goes nothing: I want a way for the app to calculate APR on what’s due. For example home loan, or credit card. This way, when your paying down a loan, you can see it more accurately. Also would be nice to add 401k info but that might be harder to see because the return can fluctuate. Excellent finance appThis is an excellent finance app. The implementation is well thought of. Accounts are shown vertically and shows the beginning and ending balance of the period. The dashboard shows the recent transactions and gives information on upcoming transactions. It is easy to put on recurring entries. This is best of the financial apps out there. The only downside is the manual backup without the subscription. So far so good...I'm really digging this app. One of the main things I was hoping that would make an appearance on the iPhone. As far as the other person mentioned about there being too many Types, I think he meant 'Categories'. Boldly Go Where No App. Has Gone Before!This is it! Forget trying the app that iTunes recently recommended! If you are looking for an Expense App that works extremely well whether you are in the air or on the ground, employed or self-employed - this is it! You can make it go deep, or use it casually. The thing that rings my bell in comparison is the view of the "future" between the different app builders. These people for instance are building not only an "Expense Recorder", but have given us a tool that we can review how we are doing with reports! They have the insight not only to make a now extremely sound platform - but the updates will not only pack the beauty and ease of the latest rivals - but they have promised to look at building the foundation even more. A rumoured option might include tracking various incomes of suggested suppliers. This will be great as we can see where the coffee and donuts are paying off! Not only can you use different currencies, but they might include different international measurements (miles for the US / Kilometers for the other 90%) by the next update. Be sure to read the forums of the others before you waste your time and money. Others have said they wish to keep their product confined to just being an Expense Recorder. The others feel they do not want to be a "Financial Software". I agree, I do not want to download my banking. $1.00cad bug fixed- good job!Program now sum correctly and I would now like the option to sum CAD and USD at same time. Data opens into MoneyWell ("MW") desktop mac app but it's format is not easily useable as extra fields are listed above and categories dont match, could use QIF and OFX. Email and wifi sync at least work well. I started with My Budget app for free, till I realized you need leopard to get the data out, source code was also $50. Then I bought ixpenseit out for $5, It's easier to add items from the past and to also email the spreadsheet of data to yourself, but the data still does not work well with Canadian banks/tax season or my accounting desktop app without spending a bunch of time trying to alter the file to export right. Canadian banks use proprietary formats for data export like QIF and OFX, something a spreadsheet cant touch even when looking for conversion programs. Quicken which came with my Mac mini never opened data from my Canadian bank. SplashMoney its very expensive because it offered a desktop application and could import thousands of hours of data right from a Canadian bank, but the desktop app locked up solid setting categories and couldnt be re-installed, cant export without turning off firewall. I use TD Bank, Waterhouse for my stocks, PC Financial, CIBC and PayPal and was able to get QuickBank ($2) to work with those Canadian Banks. Bought MoneyWell ($40) for a desktop and found that "QB" was the easiest to setup. I can download my data from Canadian bank into "MW" and on the go I can use "QB" for entering data. I just had to set the categories the same in "MW" and "QB" and then the data moves over without a glitch! I dont have to do a thing...it was like the two programs were made for each other. So now I finally have a solution that isnt manual typing, nually, yet allows me to enter things on the go and compare it against what my financial institution shows. Great app.Of the several expense apps that I have tried, I like this one the best. I gave the pdf printouts to my accountant, and he was very pleased with the presentation. Saved me a few dollars on his bill. :) The updates have made a good app even better. If you enter you income and expenses as they happen, you don't have much to do for term end. And it takes only seconds to enter a transaction. Only once did I need to ask a question of the developer. They responded within hours answering my question and more. Hijacks all your txt filesI have used this app for over 14 years and it was a good app. However, just recently, within the last year, they did something where now if you have any .txt (text) files on your device and you try to open these, it will automatically open the iXpenseIt app. I have had numerous conversations with this developer over the period of many months and they arrogantly refuse to do anything about this. Additionally, I have contacted Apple and they also do not care about this issue. Think about what this app does with any text you have that would have seriously private information! They have access to it. It’s not right. DO NOT USE. Class action lawsuit should be filed. I want to be clear about something. There is no way to open any text file unless you either delete this app or you do a long press and then select QuickLook..SchteeempyVersion: 9.9.24

Does not share between devices and no supportI’ve been using this App for years and it previously worked great. It used to sync between devices but doesn’t anymore despite paying fees to have that option. Very frustrating because I can’t have an assistant help log unless they use my phone but I need my phone. Can’t save scanned receiptsFor some reason, a recent update has caused the “Keep Scan” button not to show up at the bottom of the screen. There’s no way to directly save a scanned image other than taking a picture, saving it to photos, and then uploading it to the app. I emailed customer service, sending them a screen shot, and they never responded. An enormous waste of timeI’ve been using the app for two years and twice I have lost data that support was unable to help me retrieve. On both occasions it cost me an entire day to fix and a lot was lost for good. Sync does not always work and there are problems with multiple people adding data. Don’t download until ISO 18 fixI have $1000 of dollars of expenses I can’t send in or make a report with because this app auto shuts down when I select a restaurant to input a receipt in. Still slow and dumbVendor searches are on the dumb AI side. Continues to do a full keyword search on every entry making it ridiculously slow. Adding new vendors is the only way to stop dumb entries, and even then, it has dumb options of changing all transactions. It even clearly states 0 or edit transaction. It's a new transaction? Budgets are broken. Have more than one that sequential? Nope, can't figure it out.only the first one works. So range X1 to X22, next budget you would think would be from X23 to X45, but nope. It does X45 to X45. Totally incompetent at rolling over budgets properly. Quite sad. It's only good enough to track transactions. Too much time focusing on adding functionality when the core purpose of tracking budgets is broken. I would not recommend this product. New, updated version is HORRIBLEI originally rated this app 5 stars YEARS ago and have been happily using it daily until the updated version. The update is absolutely dreadful. It is not user-friendly and takes longer to enter in expenses (previous version had short cuts). Previous version showed daily balance (update doesn't). Previous version showed monthly categories of spending with the touch of a button (update now only shows annual spending and is a huge process to set up monthly expenditures). This version now only allows you to see upcoming expenses for 30 days. I will never use the update it is that terrible. I am now at a loss, as I was so used to using this app daily! Cannot customize vendors/categories/subcategoriesOnly possible after you enter a transaction. And only then categories/subcategories but not vendors. Very clumsy! Update Horrendous!!!I've used this app since 2011. It worked great! Five stars at the time. Since the October 2016 update, it's terrible. Mr. BookAfter updating today I find your app completely unusuable. It lacks all signs of your previously intuitive interface and instead of allowing ease of tracking daily and monthly expenses. It instead summarizes ALL my past expenses for the past five years and continually vomits various summary bar graphs in my face. Used to be 5 starsThis app used to be amazing, used it every day for years. The update however is awful, you can no longer see your daily balance and plan your month/year ahead. I would put my monthly bills in ahead of time and each day I would enter expenses and could see my current balance as well as skip ahead a couple of days to see how much I would have in a week or two. Now it shows weekly or monthly and I cannot budget how I did before.
