Great AppI wanted a Letterboxing app so I wouldn't have to go to the website, log in, search, and pick. There are two apps available. The other one had great reviews, but a lot of comments on features that would be great to have. This app, although I had to pay more for it, has all the features the other app is missing. I love that you can choose between AtlasQuest and LbNA. The interactive map feature is exactly what I wanted. Best of all, it is fast. I just downloaded this app and haven't even had a chance to use it yet. I hope it is as awesome in use as it is in initial reviewing. Works great!I used it to find some boxes when I had a few extra minutes to kill and was far from home. I had never been to that town before and had no problem finding clues and using the map to find my way there. The map is only as good as the location the box owner gave, same as on the site. Excellent for saving - a few quirksI love the “Saved” letterbox feature - I use it to categorize into parks or neighborhoods and it saves me from having to search again. However the search has some problems. I tried to search for a box with a numeric name and it changed the search from name to box number so I had to go to the website on my Safari browser and get the box number and put that in in order to save that box on this app. Also the search results only give you 50 boxes and some boxes that I remembered seeing online are not found. Just OKBought this while we were boxing away from home on vacation. It was helpful in that we were able to access many boxes and their clues from one app. The map function however is not very accurate. More often than not, the boxes were not near where they were indicated by the map. For at least two different boxes, it was off by 10 miles or more and as a result we ran out of time and didn't get look for them. Great for off-line useI have this on my iPod touch so I love how I can save the clues for off-line use. The only problem I have is occasionally the clues don't fit the screen and I have to scroll right to left to view. This is not a problem on small clues but makes lengthy ones difficult to read. Could be better with more featuresMy only problems with this app is that it doesn't tell when the letterboxes were last found. also, it is connected to google maps (which is useful) but google maps sometimes gets places wrong. boxes with a p-count or an f-count are rarely displayed on clue tracker. the search option is very grammatically picky. after using this app for a few months now, i say don't waste your money. it'll be a lot easier to e-mail yourself links to the letterboxes you want to find and pull them up individually on safari rather than use this app, since it's so finicky..KatieBushVersion: 0

Useful, but some features would be niceI have two problems so far: 1) As far as I know, you can't read other people's logs. This is a big annoyance for me. 2) I wish there was an option to move pins around on my own personal map. For example, if the box location is only as specific as a town, but I know it's in a certain park, I could move the pin to the park on the map so that in the future I know where that box is. Stamp of (App)rovalI was a bit hesitant to DL this app, since it hadn't recieved any Ratings or Reviews. At $5 it was a gamble for something that may turn out to be buggy or useless. So far I've been very pleased with the app. Ideal for searching boxes when you're away from home, on a roadtrip, or have a little free time to kill in a new area. The integrated maps are a great aspect, and my only problem with them is on the box-creator end of it. When several listings give their location as only cities (address as "Nashville, TN" for example), then a dozen or so pins drop down in the exact same spot, making it impossible to see which ones are there. This isn't a huge problem though, since you can easily tap back to the see the results in List view. One of the things I love most about this app is that it will refresh to the last screen upon restarting the app. This is great if there's a hike between one clue and another and you want to let your phone sleep during the trek. Groundspeak's Geocaching application used to do this, but after their latest update reopening the app brings you to the home screen again. If this was intentional with Clue Tracker or not is unsure, but I think it's a helpful atribute. 4/5 Stars only because of the price. Although besides a compass and a new stamp pad every now and then, this is a game that doesn't require a lot of purchases. Maybe in a future update there could be a way to write notes or log your visit with the boxes from the app directly. Overall, great job Pearl Cresent! Could use an update..The app works better than trying to navigate 2 separate websites.. However not all the letter boxes are showing up in my radius. The app only pulls up half the Cloud Atlas letterboxes in my town when the website shows them all.
