Plane Finder ⁃ Flight Tracker Customer Service

Have you ever looked up to see an airplane and wondered where it came from and where it's going? I do it all the time and just did it while writing this review. Fortunately, because of my Plane Finder app I didn't have to wonder for long. The answers, along with alot of other detailed information, were at my fingertips. As a retired airline pilot you could say I'm somewhat of an aviation enthusiast. I'm not going to repeat all the features that are listed in the description of Plane Finder. What I will say is each and every one of these features works brilliantly. This is simply a fantastic app. As a side note, one thing that often makes or breaks an app is the customer support. In addition to the quality of the app, the customer support is superb. No matter your question or comment you will receive a timely response. I have read some comments regarding having to pay a subscription for the app. I questioned it myself at first but then thought about it. Here I was with an electronic device that costs several hundreds of dollars questioning the value of an app that I enjoy immensely for only a few pennies a day. Is that whacked or what? Bottom line-forget about it. The price is well worth it and then some. You can't go wrong.

As a child and later enlisting in the U.S. Air Force, I’ve always had a fascination for airplanes. Though I’m not a pilot myself, I’ve often just driven to the airport to watch the planes take off and land and wondered where the planes are coming from and where they’re headed. In recent years I bought a home with a rooftop deck and a panoramic view. I now see 4 airports from my vantage point and see countless craft in the skies every day. A few months ago I discovered “Plane Finder” and knowing what the planes (and helicopters) are, their livery, origin, destination, speed and altitude, has been fascinating, informative and truly enjoyable. About 3 months ago I decided to eliminate the ads and became a subscriber (along with my partner). I am SO glad I did! I am now able to see where any given craft has been previously, how many passengers it can hold, and much more. I’m learning more about the speed, altitude, and navigation styles each has. It has become a wonderful and fascinating pass time. Thanks, Plane Finder!

I am a Premium subscriber and I would like to suggest a couple of upgrades that would put you on top and earn that fifth star. I also subscribe to FR24 (gold), and Flight Aware (no ads), as well as use AirNavRadar as a freeloader. I seriously appreciate your subscription price over the other three but I still tend to use FR24 as my goto Planespotting app. The reasons are a horizontal layout and a double-click zoom in-out feature that make navigation in my setting the most useful. I DO prefer the information you offer over the other three apps and the layout is better than the rest …..I just wish I could see it in a horizontal view and be able to dbl-click to zoom in and out. Please add these features and I’ll sign up for life!! They make viewing much easier in a desktop setting with a tablet or a phone. Pretty please, they don’t appear to have proprietary rights or oem restrictions….so just slip ‘em in during the next upgrade;) Pretty please with sugar and cake???

It worked. But only once. When I returned to the app, clicked the icon, I was taken back to the beginning of the purchasing process. The app then freezes. I waited 30 minutes with a frozen screen before I completely exited the app and tried again. The third, fourth and even a fifth attempt to use the app again went just as the second attempt - frozen screen, no way to access the app or my account. A few moments ago I cancelled my subscription through a series of random, frustratingly pushed option buttons and icons. Now I don’t trust I won’t be charged for attempting to buy the Pro version and then cancelling my subscription after being subscribed for only an hour of the two week free trial period because the entire purchasing process seems fatally flawed. Trying to use this app has been extremely frustrating and definitely disappointing.

First of all I love it because I am a big traveler and my parents used to work at jfk anyway… I love to look at planes it always amazed me and I always wonder where those airplanes I would see in the sky are going I went on the app and you can literally see what the airplane is by going to the airport closest to you and see what just flew out it. Reminded me a lot about flight tracker 24 which is also a app I recommend with this one and unlike flighty which I also adore is 3hrs before my flight I can see a widget on my Lock Screen which is so helpful to me!! Plus I don’t have to pay for it to be on my Lock Screen so I really use the app so I can have it on my Lock Screen plus I use flighty for tracking my flight and flight radar 24 for looking at flights I see when I’m not in the air and this app over all best app!!!!!!!!!

It is just a such accurate way to find planes at 10km up. Recently, I bought the pro and I love it. Such a good deal and been using this for three years. The plane finding app is the reason I have so many plane captures and how I was able to see the plane. Sometimes, people would know how I knew the airline and that was because of using plane finder and eventually got to know exact airline and aircraft immediately. Thanks pinkfroot limited. First of all, thanks for actually knowing how important plane finder is in my life. That is so amazing how y’all make such an accurate plane tracker radar. It’s the thing that started my interest in commercial planes. Just thanks for such a great app and the memories make in just plane finder.

I have the free version, and overall I really like it. The augmented reality view is definitely a big plus. The layout of the map view is really good too. I like the alerts for planes squawking 7700; it’d be nice if you could include 7500 & 7600 too (or maybe even let users specify what codes they want alerts for). The only other thing I would note is the info screen that comes up after you click on a plane has a lot more details locked for the premium version than what FlightAware gives for free. I understand there’s a limit to what can be given for free, but with a little more this app could definitely blow the others out of the water.

This is one of the best and top apps I have ever used. I have lost track as to how long it's been a part of my world - many years for sure - and I gladly pay the yearly renewal. The amount of information that this app offers is incredible and makes aircraft watching that much more enjoyable. It's been great when traveling or when dropping off/picking people up people the from airport. As an aside, one of the updates a while back (years ago) changed the appearance of the aircraft quite a bit from what I recall, but over a short period of time, I grew accustomed to the updated look. Total goofball tangent...it's fun to see an airplane fly over my house in Las Vegas, then fly over my parents home on the East Coast a few hours later. I send them good mojo that way. ;) Flying with the plane in 3D mode is quite entertaining - - taking screenshots then sharing them with those on that plane is another goofy thing I do. Overall, I would recommend this app to anyone. If you're spending money on coffee, streaming subscriptions, and other things - - the price of this app is really nothing.

I've been using Plane Finder for almost 3 years and I love all the fun and intuitive features that it has to offer in the paid version. The price is amazing for what you get. The only thing holding me back from using it as my main flight tracker is not incorporating Live Activities for flights that you choose to track. I think it would be so much faster and better to be able to find and track a flight straight from the Dynamic Island or lock screen. Other than that, this app is amazing if you're looking for a cheap, annual plan that gives you most of the features that a planespotter needs.

I really like Plane Finder—it’s a great app for tracking flights and works smoothly most of the time. I recently flew on VN98 from Ho Chi Minh City to San Francisco, but I noticed I couldn’t add that flight to MyFlights, which was a bit frustrating since I wanted to keep track of it easily. Also, I understand the app offers premium features, but it feels a little disappointing that viewing flights from a long time ago requires a premium subscription. It would be nice if some of that historical data was accessible for free. Overall, Plane Finder is still one of the best flight trackers I’ve used, and I hope these features get improved in future updates!

We see aircraft flying overhead all the time, but as a matter of idle curiosity and entertainment, sometimes it’s fun to see where each one took off and where it’s going. It’s also cool to see its altitude and airspeed. Sometimes I’ll be on my deck with friends and we’ll play a game to see who can guess these things. I’ve also had some more serious reasons to use the app, such as when a helicopter was flying around at an altitude of less than 1000 feet for a at least ten or fifteen minutes. I was able to get the info needed for the county sheriff to identify the suspicious aircraft.

I love this app so much and my dream is to go to las angelas and then I can see the planes im gonna see when I get there. I use this app 24/7 when I want to see the planes flying over my house. I love to see planes fly even though if I don't see them I love to watch them fly over my house or not flying over my house I still love to watch planes fly on the plane finder. Well thats all I have to say for this app Its really entertaining an really fun to use. I recommend to use this app if you wanna find out what plane is flying over your house or where its going. So, I’ve downloaded a lot of apps. But this has got to be the best app I’ve ever downloaded. I’m not kidding. It’s got everything you need to track a plane. And not only that, it goes above and beyond. As an aviation YouTuber, I want to video tape rare planes flying in the sky. I wouldn’t have gotten the views I have without Plane Finder. I’ve tried other apps, like Flightradar24, but Plane Finder is still the best, hands down. It has AR, so you can quickly see what and where planes are in the sky. It shows every single plane currently flying. And much, much more! Download Plane Finder now! Trust me, you’ll regret if you don’t!

These guys can’t get it right can they? They have a flight taking off that was sitting on the runway for two hours and 45 minutes but they’re counting down the minutes until the flight arrives when it’s not even in the air!!!! The second go around they can’t even find the flight of the second leg of the journey and keep giving the wrong time and the wrong tracking information and I know it’s wrong because I have confirmed with the airline online and the flight is there but this stupid app does not seem to realize it

I’ve enjoyed using this application for several years on my iPad Air. There have been several useful upgrades over the years that has in handed its capabilities. However, I have a question about one of the features. The app shows your current location on the map with a small blue circle with a white ring around it. Inside the white ring is a very small blue circle that seems to be a pointer in a fixed location; irregardless of which way the iPad is pointing. The direction appears to be South on my iPad. Is my guess accurate? If so, why not North?

Plane Finder - Flight Tracker is a fabulous tool to track the status of flights and monitor trip progress especially when trying to keep track of family members traveling and you are the greeting party! I look at this almost often tracking familiar flights we use on a regular basis. Especially in these current times of airports/airlines unpredictably because of TSA and fuel etc…this application is a huge advantage to staying up to date on flight status. Easy to use, updates quickly, very functional and intuitive!

I was a bicyclist in the upper Ohio Valley in the early 70s, while in college. Out in the relative quiet of the you notice planes far overhead and wondered where they were headed. After flying out of Pittsburgh and returning I realized I was riding under an approach. I have done field geology when I could observing planes flying overhead. Now retired I moved to the Alleghenies and once again wonder where hear planes and wonder about them. As a result of this I became an early adopter of Plane Finder. My big point is the developers are continuously improving the app evolving it quite a lot to a far more useful product.

Your site/app has been super helpful over the last years, as we live in a very active wildfire area (wine country CA). I can observe the progress the fire crews are making in the containment of the blazes around us, and even see hotspots spring up before they show up on the situational awareness map, just by observing the aircraft (flight pattern, who’s flying etc.) in real time. Plus we live in a very active flight corridor (most flights out of San Francisco and Oakland go overhead) and it’s always cool to see where a plane is going to/coming from when you see one going over.

Was a little skeptical of the accuracy of this app but I couldn’t be more impressed I live on Long Island NY so I have LGA and JFK near by so the amount of air traffic over my house is constant and to be able to count down the seconds until the aircraft will become visible to me is like clockwork. I mainly get JFK Landing and take offs hence that’s were my backyard is facing but also many line up and fly overs from LGA. Overall a very cool and useful app was also impressed to see drones and “some” military aircraft. Highly recommend for any aviation enthusiast or anyone in the airline profession. 9/10 ⭐️

This App is Fire yo… I can’t lie I be seeing strange lights, or plane lights I don’t recognize, etc. too find out I open Plane Finder-Flight Tracker and it’s just a certain airlines or a military plane light the other day was a Stratotanker flying by and The lights looked like strobe lights freaked me out. All in all this app is great for Answering any questions for reference and for just looking around the WHOLE WORLD and seeing what kind of plane (if they are planes and not THEM PESKY UFOS) is flying when and where. This app will blow you away with what it does. You want to know what planes are flying right now around the globe? This app does that! Your country? Yes! Your state? Yes! And you can drill down to your local airport! Hey what plane is that? Just touch the plane and it opens a new window with all the specs. What military planes are flying? Just select the filter and VIOLA! It shows just those. There is a whole list of things you can do with this app. Try the free one and I bet you will be subscribing soon there after!

Ever since I was a little girl, I would spend tons of time at night, looking at the planes and wondering where they were going. One day I was doing the same thing and I thought to myself I wonder if I could see which plane that is online. Surprise! I’m in heaven I do this every day I do it at work, etc.. I wonder who’s on the plane, if there’s a little cranky kid or a child running in the aisles. I guess I have time on my hands, but I’ve never gotten over wishing I was on the plane. I love this app!

Here in Santa Fe it is common to see 10 or more vapor trails filling the sky at the same time. So being able to identify them is like trainspotting from my childhood. We also see some bizarre flight paths which would be forever mysterious but the app identifies them. We also get a lot of military flyovers, since New Mexico is still a giant test bed, but most of them remain invisible to the app. I always recommend the app to the many chemtrail fanatics in this town. Real data drives them crazy.

I couldn’t figure out how to contact the developer at first. Then found it has to be done through the app, not their website. The developer responded quickly to my question about getting rid of the ads on a second device, so it’s all good. I was happy to see the option of getting rid of 3rd-party ads without having to purchase the full version. It’s a fun app. We always watch the planes in the sky and wondered where they were going. Now we can find out.

I’ve used this app for forever, and I was really happy that it got an upgrade with giving more info about the aircraft and flight info. It does a great job with accuracy and a user experience by giving a nice look of the overall app and its features which include a premium plan as well. Overall it does a fantastic job at providing live updates of the planes above and a fun app to explore. This app is the best in the place finder business. 👍

I like the new look. It’s going to take me a bit to get used to the improvements, but I like what I see. I had to contact support for an issue, and my issue was solved thoroughly and quickly. Strongly recommend this! Quick update: Kudos to customer support. My questions are answered quickly and in a manner that a novice as I can understand. I love watching, tracking, etc., but my knowledge of this area is limited. Great support!

Over my long use of plane Finder I has built a catalog of filters to help find aircraft types of interest. Upgrading gained little, and not only can I not carry forward my old filters, they’ve buried them one level deeper in the interface. Previously, when I compared old Plane Finder filtering to Flightradar24 they both found mostly the same planes. Now, the new plane Finder is coming up well short.

This app is incredible, and I like everything from the emergency notifications so I can grab some popcorn and pull up the flight route, to the customer support and advanced settings, along with all the cool features like the virtual globe, weather maps, and the HUGE map of all the planes in the air. I gladly paid the comparatively cheap $10 yearly for the premium version and if you like the app it’s worth it to do so as well.

This flight tracker is the best, hands down. I’ve used it for a couple of years. It pulled me away from Flightradar24 because of how streamlined the app is. I would really like to see better utilization of iOS widgets and Apple Watch complications. Something as simple as a quick launch, or a nearby shortcut. Filter shortcut. Something. Make it even easier for users to use this app quickly and regularly!

This is a great app. I like how you can track military aircraft which I couldn’t do with FlightRadar24. I also like the weather overlays. The only negative point is that the environmental information like wind speed and air temperature is not available when tracking any flights in the US. It only works for flights operating in European air space. I’m not sure if that is a limitation of this app or whether that information is simply not made available in the US? I have the premium version of this app.

Was tracking my wife on AA3087 out of College Station, TX and all that came up was DL3087 and Delta doesn’t fly to College Station. Earlier I was trying to locate the flight prior to departure and the app displayed it as a flight in Wisconsin. I’ll see what happens when I track her AA78 flight from DFW to London Heathrow and her BA1488 flight from London to Glasgow. Luckily I have two other apps to use. And yes, I have the subscription

I paid for one year premium tracking. Got it on my phone but not on the Ipad . Tried to close and open the app to see if I could get it but not only I could not get it but now I cannot get 3d which I have been paying for years . Try to contact where you said I could but nothing happens. Is this a sick joke, a fraud or what?

I just purchased this app with the premium upgrade and I get these pop up adds like homescape that I can not clear. I paid so I wouldn’t bet these pop ups , I plan on talking with apple support but I have to wait for the charge to go through. Other than this issue the app is fine. So you need to fix this issue ASAP please

I’ve had this app for over a year and it’s really amazing how accurate and easy it it to use. It’s fun to see what planes are overhead and where they are going. Even on a cloudy day you can use the camera mode and see where the plane is in the sky. Would recommend this app to anyone because it can kill some time and keep you occupied for awhile.

It’s a really nice flight tracker, I can follow my flight by entering the flight number into the search and selecting it. Free version gives when it left, when it’s landing, if it’s going to be landing early, how much time left in the flight, etc. Paid version looks like you can see the map in 3-D, Add several trips to your itinerary, etc.

It’s great app to watch our near nd dear nd keep track of their journey through the sky. It’s amazing nd extraordinary experience. Thnx for making such an awesome app 😍😍

I always use this app to track the flights of my Family and Friends! Flightradar24’s UI is a bit weird. That’s why I moved here.

Love the Ui and the app overall but some flights appear missing and sometimes inaccurate. Would greatly appreciate if it shows the time for landing not the time its scheduled to land.

I grew up directly behind a Air Force base and have always been fascinated with aircraft. Being able to check what is flying overhead is so amazing. I love it.

Nothing better than watching planes fly over us as we sit on our deck in Bognor. Love this APP.

I paid for the HD upgraded version and now it’s not supported and has been replaced with a new version that I have to pay for again! Very poor customer response to this and I won’t pay for the new version as it will be replaced again in the future. Not at all recommended!

Great app for showing flight paths. It isn’t always accurate though as sometimes it says it’s going in the opposite direction from what it actually is.

Unfortunately, a pretty good app turned into garbage with multiple forced unstoppable video ads which take control of your device for 30 seconds to 2 minutes. People need to uninstall any app that requires that you allow it to hijack your device for their business model. Perhaps maybe developers would get the hint and make better apps that have value, so you don't have to resort to such a bush- league tactics. REPLY- No, I would not. You're out of your mind if you think this app is worth having to pay a perpetual monthly subscription forever. Well, until you abandon this app and your customers and move on to an even more intrusive and expensive one, exactly like you did to the people who already paid for the app. The data it uses, you get free. It's from aircraft ADS-B data. It's like having to buy a subscription just for the data that is broadcast free from GPS satellites. You don't pay for the equipment installed on aircraft that's transmitting the data. The airlines and private aircraft owners pay for it, but you're trying to make money off of it. Not only that, but you're trying to trap unsuspecting users into a never-ending subscription that many will forget about and keep paying for years.

DO NOT BUT until you research available towers near your location. I first purchased this app around 3 years ago and it was originally better where I live. Something changed over the last year so my current coverage is terrible. I get way better results with other similar apps but this is now the worst in my area. I wasted a year subscription fee since there’s no refunds. I rarely even get 7700 notifications from Plane Finder but frequently get several from FlightRadar24. Yes, I have all the current updates & proper settings. Customer service has been responsive but of course no solutions. They say there’s not towers near me but why did I used to have better coverage? They must have sold or discontinued reception for my area since it used to clearly be better.

I’ve been testing your software and for some reasons I can see less military helicopters in the area of Panama City which I can totally see when using Flightradar24. I’m kind of surprised as I thought your app was better in finding these objects. I wish I could upload a picture so I could show you. And that’s the other issue…I tried to upload this situation using the Contact Support feature of the app but when you press on the up arrow to send the information, nothing happened. It is just like grayed out or simply just doesn’t work. I’m still under the 7 days trial so am going to stop the subscription process if there is no response from support.

This app is fantastic, and in my opinion blows all the other big flight tracker players out of the water in terms of features and the user interface experience. The coolest feature for me is the filtering system. I’m a casual aviation enthusiast who mostly likes to see what’s happening over cities with police helicopter traffic, and with this app I can finally do that with ease! HOWEVER - if you operate your device primarily in dark mode (which some stats indicate that an almost 40% of iOS users do), the helicopter icons are so faint and small that they’re essentially useless, which is a huge, huge bummer. The issue is that the black outlines of aircraft icons don’t invert on dark mode, which makes them blend into the already-dark background. What you’re effectively left with then is just the fill-color of the icons as your primary visual aircraft indicators on the map. For helicopters in particular, these icons barely have any fill color as is, making them incredibly difficult to spot on a map in dark mode, and it’s super frustrating if you no longer have the eyes of a 22 year old. Devs! Please update aircraft icon border colors for better accessibility in dark mode! I bet a slightly darker shade of the icon’s yellow would look pretty sharp, like a goldish orange. If you guys do that, I’ll be a customer for life! EDIT: Dropping a few stars. After months of use I’ve noticed that this app has really poor helicopter tracking. A medivac just now flew over my house, clearly visible on the Flight Aware app, but was nowhere to be found here in the Plane Finder app. This happens SO often, especially with police helicopters. I think it’s finally time to say good bye to this app and cancel my subscription. It’s a shame too, because this app does everything else really well - just not the plane finding part.

This app was good at some point so I purchased it. Then it switched to subscription mode which I was not happy with but I still bought into it. However, the app started lagging on showing plane locations. Sometimes the plane landed but the track line kept going. Lots of times destination and departure info was missing. I decided not to renew the subscription. The free version of the app is polluted with ads that last a minute and you can’t close. It is no longer worth a penny. I have moved on to alternate apps and web sites which are more accurate

I just switched over from Flightradar24 and love the price and presentation of your app. Now the only cons I have found compared to Flightradar24 are the ability to rotate the screen and alerts don’t always work. I have received alerts from the other and not from this app. Other than that I really like it. Please take a look at the alerts and the ability to rotate screen (iPhone). Other issues I have now found after using this app is there is a vast lack of coverage. Planes I’m tracking will just disappear mid-flight.

So this app has failed me on numerous occasions. I tried to track a military aircraft that was coming in, and even though they turned off their transponder for an exercise, when they were with sight if the airport it was back on. Other using Flight Radar could see it, but nothing here. Then I tried to track my wife’s flight in Brazil. When I searched, it gave me an option to set an alert, but it never went off. When my wife texted that she was leaving, I couldn’t see the plan at all, but I could with Flight Radar. I gambled wrong by giving this app money.

I don’t know what happened but I purchased this app just about three years ago and now it’s useless and if I want the same features I had I have to pay again only this time much more. I’m not real happy with this company if that’s the way they do things. If that’s the case They could constantly keep making you pay after a year or so if you want your features to work. I don’t know why I gave it three stars to be honest after they did that.

As much as I’d love to leave a glowing review for this app, I simply cannot. I had paid to unlock premium content in their previous version, which is now an unsupported “legacy” app. I paid for that app so I could unlock all content. Now that app worthless, and my money spent to unlock that content, and my trust, is gone. I don’t remember if I’d even had the paid content very long before their next big version came out. When I inquired about unlocking content in the new app because I had it in the old app, I was told (paraphrasing) that since it was a completely different product, my previous purchase would not be honored. Seems more like they didn’t want to honor a one time payment in favor of a yearly or monthly subscription. I’m sick of money grabbing subscription apps. I’d happily pay for a single time for a frequently used app, at a reasonable cost. But this app isn’t something I use enough to justify a yearly or monthly fee. Absurd. The old app still runs, but they disabled all plane information. Woohoo. Money “well spent” I guess. My question is: How can you trust these folks to buy into their “premium” version, spend all of that money, only to find you (as a consumer) are dumped like trash when their next shiny new version comes out? You can’t. I wish this app would stop asking me to try their premium version. It’s infuriating and it also makes me sad at the same time. I’d love to support them, but I was burned too much to trust them with more money, especially in an economy like this. I’d always be wondering when that next version will come out and then they’ll tell you they can’t honor the content you paid for in their old app because they have something new and shiny. I love watching planes on their app. I love how some icons are bigger than others, which corresponds with the actual plane sizes. I guess I’ll just have to continue to put up with ignoring ads that randomly play and show products or services I have no interest in so I can keep an eye on the sky.

I use this app when I travel to keep on top of changes to my flight and departure gate. The flight data is accurate and notifications are informative. I paid for the subscription but noticed that even though multiple devices are supported (up to 3), when I sign into the app on my iPad, my saved flights don’t appear. That’s a bit annoying to have to copy them again from my iPhone so they show up on my other device.

Bought the premium app when the original version was created and today it is no longer supported. If i want to keep using the same functionalities, i need to download the newer version of the exact same app , i loose the money i spent already, and i need to “SUBSCRIBE” (pay the app indefinitely). They offer previous customers 3 months free with the new app… and then you pay…indefinitely. So sick and tired of being screwed over this way. If i have to loose functionalities and see ads for an app i already bought in the past, i will use FlightRadar24. Much better app.

When and if you chose to offer some upgrades on a one time permanent basis you will get a purchase from myself. For non commercial use the subscription model is NOT an option. The sooner software industry gets this the better. Some software developers do offer limited programs on a one time purchase basis but than want your personal info so they can monetize you r PERSONAL info. (I’m looking at you adobe) Not happening. You would increase your sales offering some some one time purchase upgrades. Having said this your non software rental portion of this program is pretty darn good. Edited Adjusted rating down to one star, I purchased a monthly subscription to evaluate full program, I found it was not worth it to me. When I went to cancel monthly subscription I found my subscription was MYSTERIOUSLY UPGRADED TO A FULL YEAR WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION! Buyers beware!!

I paid for this app a few years ago for lifetime subscription. All of a sudden they decided to change the app with a new one that is subscription based . Although I paid for it a few years back now they will not honor my lifetime subscription. Plus the app does not work that well anymore. A lot of the flights are not listed or they say they are untraceable when you can go to the airlines web site & track the flights there. All they trying to do with their pop-up ads is for you to pay pay pay. These people are crooks . DONOT BUY THIS APP.

Great app but I'm having a bit of an issue right now where it gives me the option to "Restore Premium purchases" and every time I click that button it says "purchases successfully restored!" But then I try playback and it keeps saying I need premium in order to use it, despite the fact that I've hit "Restore Premium purchases" over and over again. Could someone please assist me? I've tried reinstalling the app.

I am not happy with the most recent update. I had already purchased the version of this app that allowed me to use it without ads, and now all of a sudden it wants me to now pay again (and yearly for that matter) to continue to use the app how I was using it previously. I am not impressed and would like a refund on my previous purchase of this app now that I have been reverted to the basic version with ads without notice. I used to be able to use the filter option, and now that’s for “Premium only”, it’s just absolutely ridiculous.

This is yet another app to move to the subscription model, which means I will no longer be supporting it. I understand charging once and providing lifelong updates to an app isn’t as sustainable as a monthly/yearly subscription but come on, at least give us a choice. I’d happily pay a premium that gives me X versions or X years or updates until I have to either pay again or switch to the subscription model. Until companies offer this I won’t be using this apps. Time to find an alternative—of which there are many who don’t offer only subscriptions to use the apps. Very disappointing.

🤣After I purchased the upgrade for $2.79/ mth no planes show up! My friend who stands next to me gets planes, helicopters and balloons on his free app. Mine shows nothing! It was a good free app. Sorry for the complaint but I am canceling my subscription.

Good, but please get away the premium

This is a great app! But the Santa tracker is not very good it said that it was Arriving at this random place in 3,000km which was really annoying. you also cannot do a lot of stuff without purchasing premium.

Please fix the name for Prince Rupert BC, Canada it still comes up as Prince Pupert when it is on origin or destination for an aircraft, plane finder team please fix this!

Whenever I search a flight I now is real is doesn’t come up and it doesn’t move .one time something said it was in the air for half an hour and it never moved.

I’m Interested in getting the upgrade but conflicting plans keep popping up. One shows an offer for $19.99/yr that shows an error when you attempt to purchase it. Then you are immediately forwarded to the $24/yr plan…seems legit. Ended up going with Flightradar24 for $17/yr.

Side by side with flight radar 24, Plane Finder does not display all flights that are ADSB equipped with transponders on.

If you want to be forced fed advertisements every time you open the app this is the one for you. Especially if you like video Ads.

I can get 100% of the “premium” info off a free app from another developer.

No functionality, expensive subscription required , planes do not load, planes keep disappearing, not worth it

Even if you once paid for the premium version, you'll need to start paying again to use the most basic service when you're forced to upgrade.

I paid for this app and get ads after the latest version was put out even after restoring my purchase. It was a great app but now disappointing.

Paid for full features. Most don’t work. Alerts don’t work. Don’t get notifications (yes they are turned on) Customer service doesn’t respond to help requests.

It’s kinda of strange the way they use the map, and the arc the planes take…. Planes don’t fly in huge arcs like they have this app would make you think…. If this app used an Ariel Aviation Map it would make a lot more sense. A flight from Tokyo to Helsinki…. Doesn’t fly North up around Greenland and then come back down south to Helsinki…. Makes zero sense

I purchased the full version a few years ago and now that app is no longer supported. Now I have to do an annual subscription. Doesn’t really seem fair.

It used to work and now I think they want money time to delete from my phone it was interesting to see how many planes were in the air just for fun
