News is ImportantI like and trust the news coverage on this app. I can scroll easily but images don’t load quickly. I like the font and it is easy to read if you don't have perfect vision. I like options to read privately rather than having to go immediately to a video. I find there is a good variety of war news coverage also the bad local events not just the big headlines. I do like the health and education news to be current and less opinion on random political figures and events. Updates to stories I have read would also be helpful and hopeful..PinbaeVersion: 7.23.0

Great News App But...I just love this app and how it gives you breaking news. I also love how well it works with the Apple Watch, but it’s still not optimized for the iPhone X even though the screen shots suggest otherwise. I’ve tried updating the app, deleting the app, restarting my phone, but it just doesn’t take advantage of the screen size of the iPhone X. It is not my iPhone that causes this because it happens on my iPad too, as well as, to friends of mine. Great app but jump to bottom of story annoyingI’m a big fan of ABC News and Eyewitness News in New York. And the app is a great way to keep up with the stories when I don’t have time to watch the news But, when you open the story and start to read, the app just jumps to the bottom of the story for no reason. And you have to scroll back up to the top to actually start reading. Not just random - every time. Great newscast iffy and glitchy appI enjoy watching eyewitness news but, the app definitely has glitches. Pictures don’t match stories, ads are obtrusive, and sometimes while scrolling you are brought back to the top. Also while clicking on a story that should have text it disappears. What’s good versus what’s absurdI respect ‘ Channel 7 on your side ‘ for reporting consumer abuse And illegal companies taking money and failing to do thee work. There coverage of heroic rescues involving heroes from children to adults is wonderful too. Unfortunately your channel covers 3 hours of reporting with previews of what’s coming up: first: without a time frame or presenting it 2nd: previews of the weather within 5 minutes of coming on the air! each hour! 3rd and what’s most prevalent to us(consumers who watch the network). I want news coverage of up to the minute news; your words not mine! The weather should be towards the end of your top news that we want to hear and see. Needs updating. Too many fake news links.It’s a decent local news app, but it needs to be updated and it’s got too many advertising links dressed up as fake news stories. The app needs to be formatted for different size phones. The fonts look huge on my iPhone 6 Plus and there’s no way to adjust the font size. The notifications are also annoying and should be controllable within the app, perhaps to allow for different kinds of alerts you may want or don’t want (e.g. all news, local news, weather, sports, traffic, politics). The fake news links to advertising are a real disappointment. You’d think a news app, especially ABC, would want to maintain the integrity of their news outlet and not list a bunch of fake news links after their stories under “You might also be interested in...” That’s just lame..Thegimp71Version: 5.3.3

TvOS app is buggyI like this app and use it daily to watch the local news. However its bugs are driving me crazy and might make me switch: - The worst bug is that after about 9 minutes, the stream will stop, cut to commercial, and then come back to a different video. Every single day I have to go back, reselect the video, and scrub to where i left off because it doesn’t correctly resume either. - This is made worse by the fact that the scrubber is extremely slippery, making it really hard to fast forward to the exact spot you left off - When you open the app, and ad will play. Going out of my wayIf you’re like me you have to out of your way to take the time to provide a bad review. Yet here we are. One star for the latest version of this app. First reason is there’s no longer a full screen option. The borders the app creates when playing a video don’t adjust to actual screen size so, at least on an XR or 11, the full video isn’t visible. Second reason is the video can’t be zoomed. Zero stars for lying by omissionI once highly respected this news agency but over the last seven years they have completely polarized the delivery of information to the public. App is repetitive and not monitoredThis app seems to be only good for watching live, but when you replay videos there is no sequence to the videos. They repeat at times sometimes even showing the same video three times in a row. The other news apps have a sequence to their videos and not one of them repeats. Why can’t this app do that. Update TerribleI used to be a big fan of this app. Not anymore. The new format is a pain. The top actual news stories are buried underneath a bunch of pinned “interest” posts that seem to stay pinned forever. Please go back to the breaking news at the top.
