So much money, make a better app!Hi! If you wаnt to рlay in bеst sportsbook, enter betus10. com in Google search, bet on sports or cyber sports, instant deposit and withdrawal, I have already withdrawn $ 888 in a week... Manу Apps allow 2 or 3 different household viewers so that the same account be used on a few different machine. Why doesn’t ESPN+??? Weird. And way too many commercials. Sheesh. And it’s really hard to navigate. If I choose a whole list of faves, I want those to show first, ALL the time, at the top of the page, on the front page. Why do I have to navigate through things I don’t want to see, even if they are LIVE, I don’t want to see any of those anywhere near the front or top, my faves should be displayed immediately front and top. Truly a cumbersome and ridiculous App, on the phone and on Roku. I go to my ESPN+, but my faves are more than halfway down the page, with all these other sports and shows and films I will NEVER watch. There is nothing in the Settings that actually does anything, other than you pick your faves, and then you can’t even see them unless you scroll down. This is seriously one of the stupidest Apps out there. It doesn’t even show the last thing you watch at the top that has continuing episodes or the next Live game, of your team, at the top!! Why? Really really dumb and bad. So tiresome to have to work to find your team and your faves. All of the ones you don’t pick as a fave should be at the bottom, far away from your own choices. I don’t need the pages flooded with this other stuff. I just want to see my own faves, because that’s why I’m paying for to see!!!.Version: 6.86

It could be a lot better.I think there’s a lot this app could improve on but as for the good things, functionally this app has no problems and runs smoothly while showing games in good quality, this app also makes sports a lot more accessible especially to those of us who have given up cable TV entirely and opted to only use apps. But when you go to actually watch the specific games or teams you want to watch this app struggles with making games accessible. Even if you pay for ESPN + coverage is extremely limited and for certain games they ask for your cable info which in my mind defeats the purpose of paying for the app. I’d like to see this app give us unlimited sports coverage for those of us who pay to support the app but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I think three stars is generous because paying for the app doesn’t give you anything and everything ESPN has to offer which is disappointing. After having the app for some time now I’ve seen some changes. ESPN seems to be better at promoting the content you choose for yourself in the initial app set up and there are more sports and live games on ESPN+ which is really cool. The quality is good and I think my only new concern is that sometimes the articles I want to read make the app crash or don’t come up when I tap the pop up. Over all I’ve seen improvements but I don’t think I’ll be completely happy until they have a monopoly on all sports content so I can stream live games whenever and where ever. Over all solid app and worth the price!.Version: 6.67

Need to improve the functionality of the appIm disappointed in this app. Considering your espn with your resources we would all expect much better. Ill give you examples, most people who are watching the game on their phone from the espn app are going to be opening and closing windows and going in and out of cars and all kinds of things. Whenever you go in and out of a car and it disconnects from the bluetooth it’s difficult to hit play and start watching again. The feed becomes choppy and goes in and out for a while and sometimes you have to force quit the app and start over. One of the priorities of the app should be dealing with people playing with their phone and opening and closing things as well as starting and stopping the game and force quitting the app and twisting the phone around for full screen and minimizing screen. When we are doing this with the phone while watching live events on the espn app we are having all kinds of trouble watching the game, starting it back up. You need to improve this a lot of the time the app is unbearable we would rather not even watch. Its got to be more efficient. Unfortunately most live stream apps for sports on the phone are like this but ill give you a reference. The fox sports app is the best i have use, its by far better than all the rest. The way it functions is perfect and its very easy to start and stop up the game after going about daily activities with the phone. Learn from fox sports app and see what they are doing and copy that please. Also when we tap on current highlights videos or clips with the espn app its difficult to start up the videos and a lot come in blurry for no reason when i have a good connection..Version: 7.8.0

Adds and glitches/crashes are too muchDon’t get me wrong, I love this app and use it daily, but I’ve also been using this for many many years and can see how it’s changed. The amount of adds are kinda embarrassing to me for a company like this who already makes a ton of money and is owned by Disney. Sure there could be a few adds here and there, but almost for every video clip is absurd. It almost ruins the fun in watching them plus it’s sometimes quicker to close out and reopen the app to watch more. It’s silly. Also, I feel that if you are an ESPN+ subscriber then you shouldn’t have adds at all or a bare minimum. On top of that the app occasionally crashes or doesn’t open properly which can come at anytime. It’s not unusual for apps to do this, but again I have higher expectations for a company such as this. Lastly when watching the video clips, a good portion of the time it won’t allow you to select the video you want on the list. It just doesn’t register your tap, so either you have to watch all the videos and adds to get to the one you want, or close out and reopen the app which I usually do. Unfortunately when you reopen that video list will change and you have to find the video clip again. A tad annoying. Anyway, I use this app daily so these annoyances add up, but I’m so used to getting my sport’s updates from ESPN that any other site just doesn’t feel right. If they can fix some of these issues then this app would be one of the best. But please get rid of adds for paid ESPN+ subscribers!.Version: 6.61.2

ESPN’s Solid, But Why No Dynamic Island Love?I’ve always relied on the ESPN app for its broad sports coverage—scores, breaking news, and highlights are top-notch, especially for a multi-sport fan like me. But it’s honestly frustrating to see it fall behind in 2025 when it comes to embracing Apple’s latest tech, like Dynamic Island. Other apps, including Apple Sports, have integrated live game tracking into this feature, making it effortless to stay updated. Why hasn’t ESPN, a giant in sports media, stepped up? Look at what’s out there: Apple Sports uses Dynamic Island to deliver real-time score updates and key plays right on my iPhone’s Lock Screen or notch, no app-opening required. It’s slick, it’s modern, and it fits perfectly into a busy day when I can’t glue my eyes to a full game. Smaller sports apps have even adopted this, proving it’s not some niche experiment. Yet ESPN feels outdated, forcing me to dig through menus for live updates when a glanceable, next-level experience is right there for the taking. ESPN’s always been a trendsetter—think Sportscenter’s heyday or your early streaming pushes—so this lag is surprising. Dynamic Island integration wouldn’t just be a flashy add-on; it’d make following games across sports more seamless and keep me locked into your ecosystem. Come on, ESPN, tap into Apple’s innovation and give us the cutting-edge tracking other apps already nailed!.Version: 7.19.0

Awesome and Horrible at the same timeWhat it's like having espn+: I sift through about 15 games from other sports I don't care about right now and finally just find the basketball icon and click it. Then I sift through 10 women's games to find northern kentucky vs Robert Morris. I click it and pick up my very messy sandwich I'm having for breakfast. After I'm 2 bites in with dressing all over the place, I realize i clicked the women's northern kentucky vs Robert Morris game. I set down my messy sandwich after a few minutes of chewing and wiping off my hands I pick the remote back up and find a men's game I care about that is actually going on. I click the East Carolina-ucf game and again look to my messy sandwich which has now has all the ingredients all over the place. I stuff all the ingredients back in as the opening tip is set to happen. Right as I take a bite, I see the spinning wheel of death as the screen freezes and it tries to load the game. After about five seconds, it takes me back to the last screen. When it works, it’s mostly good. It gives access to so many games that we never used to get before. But the organization is pathetic and hasn’t improved since the app started years ago. You can’t set any favorites or load any personal settings. They desperately want you to watch women’s sports, which I consider a good thing and even do when I have time, but they beat me over the head with it so much that it makes me resent that the women’s games are even available. They absolutely subscribe to the quantity not quality method in all aspects of the app.Version: 6.61.2

Knowledge is the keyWhile I think that the overall coverage of the world of sports by ESPN is generally exceptional, I’d like to see more emphasis on those sports and their star athletes, eg, skier Mikaela Shiffrin performing at an historic level, get more attention/coverage. It not only provides the deserved public accolades for the athletes, but, like the WNBA, enhances the exposure and growth of these sports (think skating, golf, soccer, etc). I’d also just note that while the experience of having played a particular sport has certain perspective advantages for an analyst, I believe that the ultimate value and quality of any high-level sportscaster/analyst/reporter depends mainly on their *knowledge and *insight of an athletic event(s) other than the reliance on having “been there, done that” as some tend to proclaim. And while lots of very good ones on both sides, it’s an assumption I don’t see definitive evidence for. I’d harken back to the infamous line of the unique Howard Cosell, “I never played the game.” Whatever one may have thought of his sometime controversial analytic performances, one things for sure, he certainly stirred up debates!.Version: 7.18.0

BlahThis used to be my favorite app throughout the year. Because I could check game highlights and even watch the game if I were working and was away from a TV. I used to watch the videos showing different highlights but now if I pick one video about a certain football team the next video will be about some random COMPLETELY off topic vids like nascar or gold. Also the app won’t let you stop the next AD video from playing! So when that AD video stops playing then you find the next on topic video you want to watch then you have to watch another AD video!! On top of that the video quality for the first 5-10 seconds is horrible!! No matter if you pause it for a moment and restart the video from the beginning it’ll still be horrible video quality. So you spend 30-45 seconds watching one AD video then another 30-45 seconds to watch another AD video just to watch a video that’s looks like it was recorded with an old flip phone camera! I don’t know what happened but I sure do wish you all would undo it!!.Version: 6.55

Used to love this app.. needs to improve to be back at the topI love this app but there is zero reason why when navigating back to the college basketball scores from exiting the score of a single game the app just crashes and completely freezes for 10 seconds until you can navigate and scroll to see other scores or other score categories. This should not be happening on an iphone 14 pro max. its not the hardware, the app needs to improve. there is zero reason why theScore is more reliable and operates better than espn. probably all pf the ads that have to load that slow the app down every time you load something different. it's sad. it's faster to go to another app to get an accurate score than trying to exit and refresh a list of scores on espn the world wide leader in sports. im sorry for being harsh but like come on. the app functions better on an ipad than a phone with the issue i am describing. an ipad does have a faster processor but like its a 14 pro max and i cant load scores on wifi?.Version: 6.81

Good App, Slightly GlitchyI’ve been using the ESPN App on my IPhone since 2018. It gives you most of the information you can find on the ESPN website, with the exception of certain specific sections of different sports homepages (for example, you cant access the college football conference standings from the college football page). I also don’t like the only the last names of players are shown in boxscores and stat columns. The website shows you their full names. Beyond that, the main complaint I have is that the app is glitchy in spots. For example, say I’m looking at the boxscore of a football game, and say I minimize the app briefly without actually closing it. When I go back to the ESPN app, it will take me to the game recap and force me to click on the boxscore again. I don’t get why thats necessary. If you’re a sports fan who is used to perusing the ESPN website, and if you’re familiar with the firsr names of the athletes, the app is a useful way to do deep dives and read columns without having to use the website through a desktop or laptop. Recommended, but its frustrating in places..Version: 6.60.1

When it worksFirst of all I am grateful ESPN has LaLiga available to stream! My issue with the app is that I don’t have the ability to record for later as the European games don’t always fit the US work schedule… my biggest issue is that the app is cumbersome for members. Half the time this version does not recognize me as a returning member through my iPad and I wish I could skip news I don’t care about…screw sports I don’t care for on one level and if I am not watching my preferred team or I am “recording“ why would I want results?! No matter…my main gripe is that I always need to delete the app, download it again and login so my membership is recognized - I mean, I am paying to watch stuff and the app is more concerned I am part of the “paying customer” group that getting the game on screen!? 🤔 In any case, my dream would be a streaming package that covers most mayor soccer leagues (England, Germany, Spain, Italy,France and champions league) …right now it’s a scramble every summer before the season starts….Version: 6.55

Why the Problem on my iPhone 14 Pro MaxI’ve used this app many times each day for years. I still try to use this app multiple times per day, but since upgrading to my new iPhone, it is a less than pleasant user experience. While reading an article (most often) or even just checking scores the app will just stop and close itself off. When reopening it is back to the Home Screen and after I find what I was reading and find my place, I’ll read some more and it happens again. On long articles it can be a real chore to read to the end. Sometimes I’ll just give up. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, but it still is flawed. I did not have this issue ever during the five-plus years I used the iPhone XS Max. I would have previously given five stars for the app, and still would give five stars to the content, but the app is a one star recipient on my new iPhone. Please fix this ASAP to allow me to follow along during this heaviest of sports seasons..Version: 6.94.0

I’m primarily a tennis fan!I paid the fee for this app during one of the Major tournaments and the thing that they don’t allow you to know is that they have no intention of showing matches between well known players. They only show show players who are not well known to the public. When I complained to ESPN, they blamed this on AT&T not allowing a certain ESPN Channel in our area. I didn’t pay my fee for the app to AT&T, I paid it to ESPN. I feel that this is fraudulent for them to not warn a viewer of this information. They need to say, upfront, we are only showing unknown players with this app. I simply don’t understand why they don’t just leave TENNIS on the TENNIS CHANNEL where people understand tennis fans and allow viewers to see any match they want to view. ESPN has too many people yakking while they could be showing the matches. At least on the Tennis Channel, I can just mute the yakking and view the match. Well I wrote to Apple and told them that I thought ESPN was deceptive in their description of this app. I did get a refund. I will never trust an ESPN app again..Version: 6.52

Mostly great - but lacking in at least one respectLike many fans, I check the ESPN app multiple times each day and appreciate the voluminous coverage given to major league sports. But I must admit that I’m disappointed by the absolute paucity of cycling coverage. I realize that cycling isn’t as popular in the US as it is in Europe (and many other countries) but cyclists compete in one of the most physically demanding sports in the world, and they deserve coverage commensurate with their efforts. Consider this: Cyclists in a major Tour event spend in excess of 60 hours IN the saddle, covering more than 1,000 miles and climbing dozens of mountains (many of them very steep), in multiple tour events each year. They spend around 4-5 hours in the saddle each day for 3 weeks, with only a couple of days off, with no break time, time outs or halftime, and wearing no protective gear other than a helmet. I must admit that it irks me to see more coverage given to the Hot Dog Eating Championship than to real sports like cycling. These athletes deserve more from the world leader in sports media coverage!.Version: 8.2.1

Delay of game.... 5 yd penalty on ESPN+....I would say once you actually get the ESPN+ app installed it works pretty well on Roku and is easy to navigate with the remote......the big problem is it literally takes a PhD and engineering degree to get the app installed on a non QLED TV which many do not have esp if you’ve purchased a tv prior to 2017.....ESPN also failed to offer a heads up on this so if you have an older tv be prepared for a long set up process.....after about 8 hours and a trip to the store to purchase said Roku device we hunkered down to watch Connor v cowboy....sad to say 40 secs was a huge letdown but it looks like the UFC lineup In coming months looks promising....One other note....the sound was on a 10-15 sec delay which was annoying and unacceptable...I’m wondering if anyone else had this issue....I did appreciate the discounted price for the fight so overall some good and some bad points...work on that streaming being in sync and we’ll be back with another review after the next fight....GO NINERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.Version: 6.13.1

Great AppI use a lot of sports apps and they all work pretty similarly. This one has everything the others do all in one. Once you learn how, the app is very easy to navigate. The favorite teams AND SPORTS is helpful to narrow down the news that shows up. The stories is my favorite part especially with the interactive voting. The one request I have for it is this: if there were more stories that I could just scroll through they would be a GREAT time killer. When I'm bored I like to open them up for a minute but there are only five per day if I'm correct. If I was able to scroll through those just a little bit more I would enjoy killing time watching Joe Burrow talk about his real diamonds and watching people dunk on mini basketball hoops. Other than that the articles are well written and my notifications are personalized to where I'm not getting random sports I've never heard of like for other apps. Thanks for reading, I hope it helped.Version: 6.60.1

Great Sports Coverage, But Missing Key FeaturesThe ESPN app is an excellent all-in-one place for sports. It’s fast, up-to-date, and does a great job keeping you informed on everything happening in the sports world. Live scores, breaking news, stats, and event coverage are all top-notch, and it’s definitely one of the best places to follow multiple sports in one spot. However, the app has some major downsides when it comes to the viewing experience. There’s no resume feature, so you can’t pick up a video or event where you left off. There’s also no “You’re Watching” section, which means if you switch devices or close the app, you’re stuck having to search for the event all over again. This has been especially frustrating when watching WWE PLEs — switching devices means starting completely from scratch every time. Overall, the content and coverage are great, but the missing playback features make the experience harder than it needs to be. If ESPN added a resume option and a proper continue-watching section, the app would be close to perfect..Version: 8.7.0

ADS are killer! It is obnoxiously frustrating that I see the same ad 10 times because I’m watching 7 short clips of sports. It’s seriously awful. If I click on a video, there’s an ad. If I click the next video, there’s the same ad. If I finish the video, and want to get back to an article, I can’t. I don’t know how (or why!!) but I actually can’t close the video without closing the app, being forced to watch the ad. It’s incredibly infuriating. I can’t customize the app like I used to be able to. I basically only care about the NFL, and my favorite team is the Seahawks. But I can’t ever find NFL news or highlights easily (much less Seahawks!!!) because the app is flooded with every other sport. No one has time to care about EVERY sport! Let us customize the app and get the videos and news of what we want to see! None of this matters, I’m just venting because the corporate millionaires who run the app don’t care about any of us normals who just want to have a convenient app. The problems (legitimate problems in my opinion) will never be fixed..Version: 6.55

Slow and disappointingSo far, this app has been great, but there are a few things that make me rate less than a 5 or 4. I primarily use this app for baseball, as football season hasn't started. I just installed this app it to see if it was better that other baseball viewing apps I own. So far, the interface is great and well designed, but the app is SLOW! It takes a long time to start up, and it has a hard time with simple actions in general such as clicking on the details or score of a game. So far, I have had no problem with the live TV viewing aspect of it, but it should be noted that I haven't used it much as I am at home with my TV. The main thing that annoys me the most is that when I click on a player up at bat in the app, it brings me to a glitched version of the app’s website. You are unable to scroll, and have to use a drop down menu to continue on to the stats. Then when you finally get the stats, there is barely anything! In other apps, I can click on the player an instantly get an in-app page of TONS of stats, just like it should be! ESPN, fix this please!.Version: 6.1

Love the data and info, but the vids on iPhone??Love the app, but not sure if it’s just me.. I have an iPhone XR and when I get the notifications for a video when I click on it it just pin wheels forever and never actually loads. It’s really frustrating. I’ve updated my phone and the app. I fee like it should work, but honestly it hasn’t after many updates. Please fix or advise. Not sure if anyone else is having this problem. Would give 5 stars if this was not a problem..Version: 6.10.4
