• Screen Saver - for devices with OLED display
WAKE UP ON TIME: Proper Alarm Settings
• Keep the app open and running to always have your alarm go off and play the sounds you’ve set for ‘Music'.
When your app is open, you can use the volume slider within the app. When the app is in the background, use the device volume to set your volume.
• Make sure your battery is charged and to have your notifications turned on before you go to sleep, when the battery level goes below 30% it might not sound. This is due to prevent the device from dying and the alarm not going off.
• Keep your Apple Music available on your device
The music you can select consists of everything you have available on your ‘Apple Music’ app on your device. If the music is saved on your iCloud, and not on the device itself, it won’t be available.
NEVER MISS AN ALARM
When you closed the app and not having it running in the background? The alarm will use the device volume instead and play the notification sound system.
The app will close itself automatically after 10 hours of inactivity. This is due to prevent the device from dying and the alarm not going off.
When your device is muted, set to ‘Do Not Disturb’ or your device volume is set to 0, the alarm won’t play properly. It will still show the notification without any sound. This is due to Apple’s restrictions as we are unable to access the app settings when the app is closed, only when it’s open or running in the background.

Alarm Clock HD Positive Reviews
This clock App. is color!!👍🏼👍🏼I like this app. it’s colorful and is a good clock app. wake-up for the weekends. There no problem’s with this app. and I like changing the colors all the time. 👍🏼👍🏼 This app has beautiful colors every time I use this alarm clock to wake me up. I love changing the colors for my alarm clock and this alarm clock app has never failed me. Just a prefix app. that I truly like and doesn’t need any changes what so ever.👍🏼👍🏼😊 Well I would like to change the alarm clock wake-up on it but, I can’t? Can we fix only that so I can wake-up to a different alarm sound instead of the same alarm theme all the time? Thank you 🙏that all I want! I still like this alarm App..😁
This alarm App is still a great alarm App for waking me up for work. I do have trouble after the alarm wake me up but, it’s not the alarm App fault, it’s mine. I still can’t change the alarm sound to something else but, I’m okay with it. I still like changing the colors all the time 👍🏼👍🏼. Thank you for this wonderful alarm App. 😊.Bowler girl strikeVersion: 4.3.31
Suddenly my purchase isn’t recognizedI paid for the ads free version years ago and I’ve been using it every day since then. I opened the app tonight and suddenly it’s asking for money again, failing to recognize I’m a paying customer. There is something in the FAQ about having to download a different app but the link the developer provides there is dead and the search terms only yield the same app wanting more money. This is either some horrible error in programming or some fraudulent way of getting more money. Either way, an app I have used and loved literally every day for years has been ruined.
Update: I got an immediate response in which the developer acknowledged the problem and an updated app was put out within a day or two that fixed the problem..William Rosenberg MDVersion: 4.3.18
There's a flawI got this for the screen burn in protection. That does not work on the iPhone 14 pro max, I would assume all the 14's. It's exactly what I want, but worried about screen burn in. The developers gave me a free year promo while they work on it but I got busy and didn't redeem it in time, it expired. So now I'm using the free version and that's annoying and terrible. This is a alarm app, but in the middle of the night, 3AM I turned over and seen an alert on my phone saying memory alert. I tried pushing cancel and instead I get a piercing warning alert waking the wife up. As others have said you get full page ads in the middle of the night and getting them off is not always easy.
I have not decided what to do. This alarm does what I want, but I hate paying for something that has a main feature not working. The ads are so bad for an alarm clock, which I assume apple does that, either way not sleep friendly. I would not recommend the ad version. If you don't care about not having the screen burn in protection not working then pay for it, it works..The only TMAVersion: 4.3.25
Handy free alarm clock app.New review: I consider this a great free alarm clock app. Very handy travel clock and alarm. Always easy to use. I like that the developers read and respond to feedback. So, for the dev team, here’s what got stuck.
The issue was a promotion for a game popped up (this is a free version so there are ads and offers) but it did not have an “X” to close the ad.
Close the app, reopen and it went to that ad. Kind of frozen. Ironically the game had snow monsters.
Eventually the app cycled ads and the next ad had an “X” and could be closed out.
Old review: Was great; now unusable. Very handy travel clock and alarm. Always easy to use. Recent update for the free version has automatically opened a game (I do not do cellphone gaming.) and gives me no way to exit the game screen except 1. Play the game for free or 2. Exit the app. Have tried three times to find an exit back to the clock without success. Will watch for an update then try again. It is unusable as is..Hunter.PeckVersion: 4.2.3
Still get ads with paid versionUodate: I’m changing my rating from one to four stars due to helpful reply of developer. I did the restore purchase and that worked. Minus one *because it should have worked immediately, and I should not have had to put up with ads for two minutes (they still have not extended my subscription for that time) nor had to take the time to write to customer service. Something I really like about this app is that the alarm will sound through Bluetooth headphones. I get up much earlier Then my husband, who is a very light sleeper. I wear some of the soft Bluetooth headphones (The Headband version) so I can hear the alarm and it doesn’t bother him.
I paid for a full year of the premium version, and nothing has changed. I still get the annoying ads. I updated, and nothing helped. I contacted customer support, and got zero response. I’ll be contacting my credit card company with a dispute..Planet LizagnaVersion: 4.0.20
Clock w/ alarmAlthough I lived with this app for quite some time, I've tolerated several quirks that I didn't like.
1. The flashlight doesn't work. Although the screen turns white as if it were on, the light on my iPhone doesn't turn on. Other apps using this feature do work, so I know it's not my phone.
2. If I happen to have the app on the background or even closed, the alarm still sounds. Great if I happen to forget to open it, but really annoying if I'm working on something else and it goes off. Even more annoying that it's not consistent.
3. When #2 happens, and I swipe up to turn it off, the alarm sounds again within 30 seconds. You have to click on the pop-up to turn it off. Again, extremely annoying if I'm working on something else.
4. As of this week, none of my music I have on my phone is viewable. All music was removed from the app. It tries to pull music from your iPod, but music on your iPhone isn't labeled as an iPod. Not positive if it's a recent upgrade that did this, but am glad I discovered it before I accidentally overslept! And, please don't point out that you can use the different alarm sounds instead. I know that and specifically wanted this app for the ability to play my music randomly. Disappointing.
Since #4 just recently happened, I'm turning this alarm off - possibly removing it since it won't do what I want it to..JRMainoVersion: 3.1.8
What happened???!!'The recent update killed this app! i cannot set the alarm at all. i've been using this to wake up to my favorite music for several years! There is no longer an option to select individual songs; the only thing that comes up to select from is 'playlists'. Even when I tried to select a playlist, it didn't work! Something is terribly wrong. Looking through the app store for alternatives as this just won't do at all as an alarm clock anymore.

Really...? Do you honestly think I don’t know that I need to download the music I want to my device... ? As I said, I’ve been using this app for years; I am well acquainted with how it’s supposed to work. I’ll just find another alarm clock app, there are plenty to choose from..Red MapleVersion: 3.1.6
My dad got he using this app it’s that Great! So since vote I got an iPad or any apple product at all, I gre up rememnber this app open on my dads iPad 2 being used as a nightstand clock and alarm. When I started using apple products about 4 years ago, this was the first app I had to download. It’s an overall great produc! It’s easy to create alarms, turn them on and turn them off. On the iPad this apps makes for a much larger display and when you don’t want or can’t use your device you let it sit and wake you up in a variety of different tones in the morning or night (depending on when your alarms are set) or if you can’t sleep you just close out of the app and watch some Direct TV and turn the app back on when your sleepy and let it wake you up when it’s set. It’s very reliable and user friendly!.#LittleGabeCanCriticAnythingVersion: 4.0.11
Will definitely cause you to be lateI’ve been using this alarm clock app for the past year and in that time I’ve been late at least a dozen times thinking that I was sleeping through the alarm or hitting the snooze one too many times....but, NOPE, it’s the app! I know this for a fact after just this week because my alarm would normally go off at 5:30 am and after having overslept until 7:00 am, imagine my surprise that my alarm just randomly went off at 7:08 am WHEN IT WAS ONLY SET FOR 5:30 am! No other alarms set except for my 5:30 am alarm!! It also seems as though this app randomly won’t allow my phone to update and all of my notifications texts and alarms are delayed and seem to all come in at once! I just can’t trust this anymore :(.Adamsville3333Version: 4.0.27
So disappointed…It keeps happening, but it’s random so I can’t take corrective actions. 😢
I love that the app can be customized for color. The sounds i have chosen don’t bother me…too much, they are alarms, after all. However, TOO many times now the alarm simply has failed to alarm me that a particular time has arrived. I am NOT a clock watcher, I generally don’t care what time it is, but i do have time sensitive things to do during my day and use several alarms. Too often they have failed. Fortunately, not causing great issues in my life, but that’s probably just a matter of time. (No pun intended 😂😂)
I have used this app for years. It started great, but after a few too many upgrades, it has begun to fail. I would have purchased the ad free version, but if you can’t get this right, why would i pay for it…
Time to try another alarm system. 😔.CraftinghomesteadVersion: 4.3.18
Saved me once lolI'm just gonna say this, once during an ice storm power outage, the flashlight feature was really helpful (I have an old iPad 4 without a built-in flashlight). I turned it on by accident, but it probably saved me from stepping on a rusty nail in the hallway.
Aside from that, the app works great! Even though there's a chance that the version I use might be a little outdated (I haven't checked the version requirements, but my limit is iOS 10), it still does everything that it's supposed to do. I like the alarms it has, and I personally prefer them over the standard Apple alarms, and being the person who sets nine alarms for the same morning, it does a pretty good job of waking me up before my 9 AM alarm..Starwave Studios [Founder]Version: 4.3.1
The perfect app for meThis was the hands down perfect app for me I’m a heavy sleeper and I would sleep late and get late to school and I wake up right on time. The app also includes a alarm clock and if you have iTunes music it lets you add your music to your alarm or if you don’t have iTunes music (aka me cus I cant afford that 🤓) it provides you with some free music, it also provides a timer, a flashlight, what percent your phone is on (which blows my mind) and your clock I read some reviews on the update and they were mad but hey I’m perfectly happy. I would totally recommend this app but hey if you don’t know download it to see if you like it and if not delete it but ya thx so much for reading my review it makes me feel special and have an nice day ❤️!.ᎫᎯℤℳℐℕVersion: 4.0.9
DisappointedI love your app, I have used it for years. I have experienced a few glitches along the way worked them out but lately the app has stopped working. I have overslept twice making me late for work and almost missing an important appointment. The app/ time is freezing at the time the alarm is set to go off. Waking out of a sleep or glancing at the clock to see how much time you have before the alarm goes finds the alarm stuck on time of alarm. For example I’m thinking it is 5:45 when it is actually 6:30. Now I’m afraid to trust it to get me up on time. I have enjoyed this app for years now it appears to be malfunctioning..Careerstudent 64Version: 4.2.6
24 HR Setting Would Be NiceNice alarm clock app with many features. The only two things that I find lacking are:
1. No 24-hour clock option. For Europeans and military users, this option would be an awesome addition.
Developer response noted. Thank you.
2. Do not disturb mode. It appears as if the clock overrides all other alerts to include phone calls, texts, emails, etc. When the clock app is running, no other alerts get through. This is a big detractor for me, but can be worked through if you don’t expect to receive anything of critical importance during the hours you are sleeping.
Developer response noted; however, this is NOT about the iOS do not disturb. Rather it is about the fact that when the alarm clock app is running there are no other alerts received from other apps (texts, emails, phone calls, etc.) If I understand the developer response correctly, this is beyond their control? Seems odd and more like an unintended consequence ... or ... bug in the app. Other alarm clock apps do NOT impede alerts from other apps. This one does. So, I cannot attribute the issue to Apple.
Beyond that, this app has proven to be a nice replacement for the one I used to have (got outmoded by iOS 11...).KASM5Version: 3.1.6
Even Premium has Ad’s !!!Very very annoying to still get ADS for 20-30 seconds ! DO NOT …. PAY FOR PREMIUM, REPEAT … DO NOT PAY FOR PREMIUM, THERE ARE STILL ADS !!! Not worth it !!! I have upgraded my subscription to Premium but STILL get all the ads and from time to time , I’ll get ready to set an alarm and then I have to wait a good 45 seconds before and AD RUNS through its entirety and then try to Hurry Up and set an alarm before another AD for buying g a new game shows . Very very annoying !!! When all of this isn’t happening and the Alarm is working , it is nice but not worth all the AD’s !!!.Jim's ReviewsVersion: 4.3.23
Its a great alarm clock but could be slightly better in a major wayIts great overall but there is one thing that it’s missing that i think it needs and thats a calendar alarm. It would be nice if the one time option allows u to set a specific day and time an a calendar with an added timer for scheduled events and appointments that are longer away then just a week. It would be best if both options had this for reoccurring events like birthdays that some people even my self have a hard time remembering, I even have important appointments thar are spaced over months that are always usually on the same day of the week if we can help it :).(DGH)Phantom7Version: 4.3.25
Excellent Alarm and Functional AppThis alarm clock is absolutely wonderful. It has pretty much every feature I've ever needed, and now I use it as a bedside clock. I've never seen it fail to ring. It's absolutely amazing. The only thing I think could be added is the ability to turn off notification alarms; when I'm out of the app, I usually don't want it to ring. I turned off notifications for the entire app from settings, though, and it works just fine. This app is really great.
Update: This app went through a pretty big format change, and it looks freakin' awesome. Thanks..BerylliumOxideVersion: 4.0.6
Lots To Like, But ...This app has a lot to like about it, but the one major flaw is a doozy! Every alarm clock that I have ever used pops to the surface when it is time, even coming through the lock screen to let you silence it. This one you have to find for yourself. And that is a killer 'feature' that is almost enough to have me looking elsewhere. And every month or so that is exactly what I do. No luck yet, but ...
Then there's the cost of a premium subscription - you can't be serious! You really think that it is worth that much?.GeekausaurusVersion: 4.0.25
Good but too much lightUpdated review: I still like and use the app and I’m happy the review received a response. However, my initial comment still stands. I know how to dim my iPhone 11 screen and I have it as low as it will go. My slider brightness for the clock is put just bright enough where I can see it. The background is not true black. I took a screen shot of the Alarm Clock App and Apple Compass app and there is a big difference. Compass app background is true black. But the alarm clock app is a slightly lit black. Peculiar. The app is still great. But that is the one annoyance. I feel this app used to have a background that was true black. Now it lights up my room. The background is like a low level screen lighting up my room and making the clock look washed out. The only way to increase the intensity of the time is to make everything brighter. Am I the only one?.NekwolneVersion: 4.2.15

Mixed feelingsI like the app but for one issue. And it’s a doozy. If for any reason internet connection is interrupted the app will display a very bright white dialogue box indicating such. That very BRIGHT screen does not go away until you make it go away. In the dark my eyes are straining to adjust to the insanely bright screen. At 3 am I’m not lying there with heart shaped thought bubbles reading tomorrow’s weather. I’m trying to sleep. Sleep made difficult by this flood lamp shinning in my face. I never thought I’d download an ALARM CLOCK APPSeriously, out of habit I would always search “alarm” on my phone but this app always came up as a suggested download, idk why I typed that in instead of just using my pre downloaded clock app on my iPhone but I got tired of seeing the app suggestion and was already tired of the standard apple alarm noises so I thought why not give it a shot? It’s super customizable and it’s actually really cool, and the options for fading the noise to get extra loud etc is a nicer way to wake up then a standard bomb alarm going off jolting you up. Alarm Clock HD Negative Reviews
***WARNING: 5 star reviews are oldI like to read reviews and choose things based on highest rating from most people. Unfortunately, I didn’t see that all of the glowing reviews are from previous versions of the app. In the last year they started to change, and I’ve been finding out why.
This morning is the 6th or 7th time that my alarm failed to make any noise and wake me up (I’ve been using the app for several months now). I’m a teacher so more often than not, I keep my ringer on vibrate and don’t bother to switch it on when I’m not at work. It appears that (sometimes?) the app requires the ringer to be on in order for the alarm to sound. Most of the time a little warning message pops up saying that the alarm won’t sound because my phone is muted, so I remember to turn it back on. Sometimes it says that the alarm won’t sound when muted unless the phone is charging. Sometimes it pretends everything is fine until morning when it makes no noise at all. On these days, half the time it indicates that it’d been “going off” for an hour and (I’m presuming) has snoozed itself enough times to just stop trying. The other half it’s like I never set an alarm - no indication anywhere that anything happened at the time my alarm is set for.
It’s heartbreaking because I wanted something that I could customize, and this was perfect! It’s too much of a gamble to be worth it though - alarms need to be consistent, and there’s truly no room for the possibility of it not going off..TsurowiecVersion: 4.0.24
Leaving after 5 years as a Premium SubscriberThis app has become un reliable all of the sudden. Have been using for about 5 years. I am a heavy sleeper and the last few month the alarms just go off when they feel like it. I use to set a time and the next morning it would go off like it should - Not Any More! For the past three months it’s been a couple times a week the alarm won’t go off. I have 3 different iPads connected to 3 separate jamboxexes of different brands connected via wire or through BlueTooth. Today was the last straw. NONE OF THEM WENT OFF, AGAIN except for my little home alarm clock that just happened to wake me up today. so it’s not just my device having an issue it’s the APP itself. Some just make the notification sound very 10 minutes and not the alarm sound. Some the alarm is up and blasting but only once I hit the home button to figure out why the piece of crap app wouldn’t work only to find that it is working but I had to physically hit the hope button, get into the iPad, and then it’s starts blaring the alarm. I’ve tried resetting my devices every night and it does no good. Also have made sure everything is up to date and no dice there either. I don’t know what you guys have done down there to mess up a beautiful thing but I’m sorry. I’m out. I’m gone and take your piece of trash app with you.PadreIslandCorpusChristiVersion: 4.3.27
App Is just OK. Subscription not OK.PRO: I have the free version. Now that I've learned it quirks, the alarm sounds every morning at the desired time. The app basically does what it's supposed to do.
CON: (1) The UI and time/alarm display could use some functional and aesthetic updating. (2) There are too many ads, and most are annoying at best and at worst, obnoxious. I was prompted to write this review due to an ad this morning that wouldn't close. I had to kill the app and restart it. (3) I am always willing to pay a few dollars for permanent ownership of an ad-free, fully functional app. I have about a dozen paid apps on my iPhone. However, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I WILL ENTER INTO A SUBSCRIPTION FOR A SMALL APP LIKE THIS that has plenty of alternatives.
It's not so much the money; it's the fact that I already have too many subscriptions: magazines, streaming services, software, and news sources such as the NY Times and WaPo. Each one adds to the time and cognitive burden of supervising them: keeping payment methods current, scanning my credit card bill to watch for subscriptions I no longer use. I know that app developers want the steady income from the subscription payment model. However, the devlopers of this app will not get a penny from me unless they allow a one time purchase..Randy1337Version: 4.3.23
Ads make alarm clock unreliableWhen I first considered using this app for my alarm clock, I noticed several reviews talking about the ads. Since these reviews were several years old, I thought the developers had that handled. Apparently not. Since I installed the app, I have been rudely awakened on several occasions by loud, obnoxious music from slots ads that played between 1 and 4 in the morning. And then there are the silent ads that don’t self close.
I leave the app active on the Home Screen on my iPhone. When an ad appears in the middle of the night, it knocks the alarm app of the the Home Screen and the alarm doesn’t operate like an alarm. This morning is a prime example. The alarm never went off because of an ad that appeared sometime during the night. When I closed down the ad, the alarm app appeared on the Home Screen and showed that it had been waiting for a snooze or stop response for an hour and 20 minutes but the alarm never sounded. This not the first time this has happened. Today was especially irritating because I had an appointment that I didn’t make because the alarm never went off.
Most of the time the app works fine. But when these ads show up and interfere with the alarm app’s functionality then it makes the app unreliable. The ads need to self close..EmhagainVersion: 4.3.28
A must until the last update/upgradeThe one star is for the current version out there in the past you’ve been a 5. I have used this alarm app for years over the built in Apple one and never had an issue until this morning. Sorry to say the issue forced me to delete the app so I could use my phone.
This morning the alarm did go off but muted my phone volume so no alarm. This caused me to sleep in and because the alarm had muted my phone I didn’t hear the calls from my work wondering where I was. When my internal body clock woke me I was already an hour late and could not access my phone because the alarm app was looping and kept setting off the muted alarm. If I came out the app the volume indicator was also looping and showed the phone as muted and a constant notification alert that the alarm was going off. I switched the phone off and when it rebooted went straight into the alarm sounding. Once I entered my password it went straight back into the alarm muted loop. With some difficulty I managed to get the app deleted as all attempts to stop the alarm failed.
Let me know when you fix the bug as you have a good product that I’ve used for years with out trouble and I’m willing to give you another chance. Everyone is allowed an error just can’t trust the app until the issue is resolved..Hagg1s73Version: 4.0.2
App has gone from cream to crapI seldom write reviews, but the turnaround in this formally great app is so stunning and disgusting, that I have to write one.
Like many other reviewers, I have used this app with pleasure for years. But the free version has become virtually unusable, because of the long and noisy ads that are appearing with increasing frequency, when foregrounding the app, setting the alarm, turning off the alarm. sometimes one has to go through multiple steps before an X finally appears to turn off the ad. having been a programmer myself, I appreciate that the developers need something to live on, but they have destroyed a nice little utility, that many people have loved. When you were getting ready to go to sleep, it’s the last thing anyone needs to have loud, be being an warnings, blaring and flashing at you. The developers have claimed to other reviewers that these problems have been fixed., But they haven’t.
As for paying for a subscription, even if that were appropriate for such a small utility(it is not), the price is too high, and they have destroyed the credibility they once had by having such disgusting ads.
I have recommended this to many people in the past. Now with sadness, I have to warn people to stay away from this if you value your sleep..Hong Kong ChevyVersion: 4.3.28
Used to be so much betterThis has been my go-to alarm clock for years. I purchased it when it was a one-time payment and was a bit dismayed to find that the upgrade was now subscription-based. I’m not opposed to the subscription except that the performance of the app is no longer reliable. Two major issues have me looking for a new app: (1) Previously I’ve been able to silence the phone and the alarm still worked. I don’t keep the ringer on during the day because I prefer the haptics on my watch and I’m really worried I’ll forget to un-silence the phone at the end of the day. (2) The alarms randomly turn off so if I don’t check them every day, its very likely that they won’t sound at all. I set three alarms and verified they were on at the start of the day today. By the end of the day, the first one was still active but the second two were both off and I hadn’t touched the app all day. Please fix my alarm clock! I miss the old reliable app.
Edit: I confirmed that three alarms were set when I went to bed last night. I woke up this morning (without the alarm) to discover that two of them had turned off on their own overnight..SleepyBear78Version: 4.3.33
Was better before the upgradeOne of the reasons I love this app (I've used it every single day for years) is because its display on my iPad is so big--I can read the time without my contact lenses. But the display changed in this week's upgrade. Now when the alarm is going off or it's in snooze mode, both the countdown to the next alarm and the actual time are so small that I can't read them at all unless my face is a few inches from the screen. The STOP button also got smaller, and instead of being red (which was easy to see when you're fumbling around in the dark), it's just white like the snooze button--you actually have to read the button text to make sure you have the right one. Clearly, the developers have better eyesight than I do.
The other thing I noticed is that the volume gets loud a lot more quickly than it used to. I really appreciated the long fade in because I could usually turn the alarm off before it got loud enough to wake my husband. It's also a lot less jarring to wake up when it fades in slowly.
Bring back the colors, the big font size, and the slow audio fade!.SY331Version: 4.0.1

Instead of taking the friendly advise of offering a one time fee for your app before apple iOS 17 standby clock release kills it, you decide to go nuclear with your advertising and today force everyone to consent to selling them out with forced tracking, cookies etc. so sad you decided to go down that death spiral path. Good luck I’ve finally deleted the app after 5 years! It’s been fun. Ciao

I’ve used this app for years - loved the aesthetic design, didn’t like the ads or changing UI up to avoid screen burn (might have been fixed recently) Sad to say that your reign is over - apple is taking over providing same feature in iOS 17. Don’t you just hate (or love it) when apple just kills your business (as usual) each year on new iOS upgrades. If you guys were smart - you would throw one last big hoorah party. Just offer all your loyal users a one time 99 cents cost for pro unlimited ad free version. Otherwise you will lose everyone anyway to apple built in charging clock feature - turn phone landscape and clock will automatically appear. Bitter sweet goodbye y’all it’s been real !.Sydney SiderVersion: 4.3.27
This app will ruin all chances of getting any sleepI have been using this app for years and I’ve never had a problem but they have recently updated it and now it has so many ads the second you click off of the app and go back on you are bombarded with ads. The ads that they show are super loud and I’m noxious especially when you’re trying to SLEEP. You can’t skip them and so many other things but that’s not the worst part It will wake you up in the middle of the night multiple times a night with some random ad and not only will it take you off of the app but when you get back on the app, there’s another ad and the ad will go off while your alarm is going off and there’s nothing you can do about it. You can’t turn off the alarm during the add. I am so serious if you are looking at this app at all, DO NOT GET IT. I’ve never written review before, but this so important for anybody looking for sleep I got woken up in the middle of the night six times I counted because it keeps the pop up ad in your tabs on google. Anyway, I’m looking for a new alarm clock app does anybody have any recommendations?.2737626262Version: 4.3.28
Meh...PROS: it looks cool, if you buy the subscription version with no ads. It has a weather widget built in the display. It enables slightly faster access to the flashlight than opening the control center. I guess.
CONS: a recurring subscription is required for no ads, and if you don’t pay it the ads render this app too irritating for me to tolerate. There are only a handful of alarm tones, and though it will play your music, it doesn’t have access to any tones you make or buy from iTunes. Except for the weather widget, this app doesn’t do any more than my built in iPhone alarm clock.
MY PERSONAL VERDICT: not worth a subscription, and not worth putting up with the ads otherwise. Now, if you want to change my mind, you could add some better and useful options, like enabling the selection of alert/alarm tones on my phone, followed by voices to announce the time and the current weather while I’m waking up. I would pay for that, if it was done tastefully (imagine the voice of HAL, or Sigourney Weavers computer voice doing this, or even goofy voices like Charlie Brown waking you up). Get creative!.IsthiswhereiputanicknameVersion: 4.0.9
Great but only one problemI feel that this app is a good idea for a plain clock. You have color customization and everything but there is only one problem. Most other clock apps when you turn your iPhone/iPad to its side the add at the bottom will disappear and will reappear when turned back upright. But with this app, the ad always stays on the screen no matter what you do. The only way to get rid of it is to buy the subscription which isn’t worth the money. The one improvement that could make this app one of the best clocks on the App Store is to just get rid of the ad at the bottom on the screen when the device is in landscape mode. You will still get you ad money from it because most likely anyone opening the app will have their device upright and will have the ad pop up on the bottom so just get rid of it turned. My final verdict is that this app isn’t worth it and there are other alternatives that don’t clutter the screen with ads when turned. If this was fixed I would say this would be the perfect clock app with its features, even with the ads..ShmalexedVersion: 4.0.29
No longer working as it should!!DO NOT DOWNLOAD IF YOU WANT TO WAKE UP! Not sure what is going on with this app lately. I have the paid version and I’ve been using it for years. My kids use it for school and work as well. The past 6-9 months have had lots of quirky issues. Unfortunately, it’s become more and more unreliable and this past week was the last straw when it caused my daughter to miss college classes, me to be late to work and for my son to miss one of his basketball games because it froze and never woke us up!! This past week I have woken up to seeing the snooze and stop buttons on the screen but no sound and the buttons could not be pressed. Another day similar situation but I was able to hit snooze but had to hit it several times for it to start but then it froze and never went off. Yesterday it froze at the alarm time with no snooze or stop buttons and no sound.
So disappointed! I loved this app. It was simple, easy to use and reliable. How hard is it?! I just want an alarm clock that works and now I’m thinking I’m gonna have to go back to the good old fashioned alarm clock and not my phone..Missyn73Version: 4.2.5
App not working on iPhone 7 Plus.UPDATE: Note to developers; The problem first appeared on the paid version which I deleted to reinstall. But the icons seem identical for both free and paid so I probably accidentally downloaded the free version. However the reboots happened in both versions. I’ll try out the updated paid version and see if anything has improved. Original review: I’ve been using this for years, but just like the other poster, I’m having major problems with this installed so I had to delete it entirely. First, it soft reboots my screen constantly. Then the alarms no longer work. If you open the app when the alarm is supposed to go off, only then does it miraculously start beeping. Then reboots my screen again. I tried to uninstall then reinstall and reboots start again. I don’t understand but it works fine on my iPhone 6 Plus but 7 Plus is my main phone so I can’t use it on that. This just started recently so I don’t know if you did something in the background or if it’s the update. But this is really bad and I need to find a new, reliable alarm app for now..Stephanie from Chicago.Version: 4.0.3
Doesn’t play sound most of the timeThe app is clean and has most of the features I’d look for, like unlimited alarms, a lot of customization, ability to use your playlists instead of choosing multiple songs, etc., but there’s one drawback: too often it just doesn’t play anything. My specific method is to connect to a Bluetooth speaker next to the phone the night before, test the volume, set an alarm and leave the app running. It’s supposed to wake with sound if it was the front-focused app when you put the phone to sleep, but that was inconsistent. Now I don’t even shut the iPhone off, I just turn it upside down to hide the screen, and the same problem occurs. The Bluetooth speaker is ready, the phone has volume up, but the app is silent. And it’s running; the screen says “stop” and “snooze,” so the timer is running, just no audible alarm. I’m deleting and installing again as a test, but if this continues, into the trash you go..TunedeliciousVersion: 4.1.18
Perfect app...not anymoreHad to downgrade my 5 star review from 4 years ago as I just had to uninstall this app. It’s been not going off in the morning. At first it wasn’t finding my music (again...this seems to be a constant affliction after any update). So I made it a special playlist. Solved. Then it wasn’t waking on time. So for the last 2 days I’ve set an old fashioned manual bell clock so i could wake up and watch my phone clock. Here’s what I saw both days.
1. The time for alarm arrives. App is on screen and display changes to a small overlay with tiny buttons. No sound is playing and though I’ve not touched anything, the snooze counter started counting from 7 minutes on its own. So I guess the app snoozed itself! Wait, what? Yea, that happened again when it got to zero. The snooze timer reset on its own and started counting down again.
2. So I manually hit the (now too tiny) Stop icon. Well, now my wake music starts playing and loudly right fast. I’m definitely awake. Oh and the snooze counter restarts again now.
3. I double click home button, swipe and close alarm app. It’s still playing my wake music. I uninstall the program. It’s still playing my alarm music. I turn my phone all the way off. Sweet silence. Day 1 I reinstalled to give the app another chance. It behaved the same Day 2.
So this app is currently very janky. I’ll watch the update info for when it’s back to working properly. Until then it’s not allowed on my phone..MoonbeamMtnGirlVersion: 4.0.2
FlakyScreen has gone completely blank while using the UI, the flashlight turned itself on when I opened the cover, etc. Had to kill the app to recover. Yes the shake-for-flashlight feature was on but I didn’t move it enough to knock a marble off of it.
When it works it has all the right features for my needs, but I can’t count on it to work.
I actually would have already paid for premium ( those ads are OBNOXIOUS, especially when they take over the full screen ), but there doesn’t appear to be a way to just pay a fixed amount for the app. I’m not going to participate in the horrid subscription model. Anyhow when it started flaking out I gave up on that.
Developer also doesn’t seem to know anything about WCAG ( web content accessibility guidelines); the screen with alarms that are off has dark grey text on black background, invisible to people with vision contrast issues. Like me..MhumhVersion: 4.3.16
Battery drainerI really liked this alarm and how soft it sounded since I’m a light sleeper and all other alarms are quite loud. I don’t need one that scares the living daylights out of me so early. I liked it so much I even paid for a subscription. It wasn’t until this morning that I noticed that it was draining my battery quickly. I went to sleep at 11 pm with 100% battery and woke up at 5 am (without an alarm) to find it at 72%! My battery has been draining quickly lately and I couldn’t figure out why. Then I saw that it was because of this app! It used up more than 50% of my battery in a 24 hour period which is saying something since I’m a heavy IG user. If I had all the bells and whistles turned off (RSS feed, weather, notifications, etc) turned off and it still drained my battery (which is still in good condition) that quickly, I’ll look for another app or even a physical alarm instead..NerdWriterVersion: 4.3.0
Used to be decentI understand that watching an ad is the price I pay for a “free” app. This app used to show an ad after I set my alarm and returned to the clock display. The ads that popped up were typically a static page with no sound. Occasionally it wouldn’t show an ad and that felt like a bonus.
For some reason it started delaying the ads for 3-5 minutes after I return to the clock display. I work a rotating schedule so I need an alarm to wake at one of three different times. Each night I check to make sure the correct time and day are selected and then set my phone on the charger. Then I have to sit on the edge of the bed to wait and see if an ad will display. Or I lie down and let the ad startled me when the screen goes to full brightness and full volume. Since this behavior changed most of the ads are short videos that can’t be dismissed for several seconds.
An app that used to be a convenience turned into a nuisance..Rpreston513Version: 4.3.27
Forget about the travel clock; this does it allI've been using this clock for about 2 years now and I have come to depend on it especially for business trips, as you can't always depend on the hotel wake up call. Only 1 minor thing that prevented me from giving a 5 star was that there is no indication that the alarm is in active mode from the home screen. You have to go into the alarm settings page to check to see if it is active or not. Otherwise one of the better and more useful apps.
Update: the flashlight feature hasn't worked for the last few upgrades and still doesn't. The bright advertising wakes you up. Not good. Lastly, I put my phone in airplane mode when sleeping. A prompt warns that the alarm may not go off. I now revert to the standard clock app that came with my phone for alarms.
This app is no longer useful as it used to be. I don't use it anymore..ZdAUR4r7dwyAKcVersion: 3.1.5
Do not recommendI have paid for this application for about a year now. Since that time I have had to delete and download the app 4 times because the alarm didn’t go off. I work in the health care field and need to wake up early in the mornings, and I can’t sleep because of the fear of the alarm not sounding.
The constant notifications are also annoying. I don’t need to know I don’t have the app open when I’m not sleeping. When I’m sleeping I’m not going to get that notification anyways. But the fear of not getting an alarm in the morning stops me from turning off notifications, and the one day I did (last night) the alarm didn’t go off because I somehow “muted” the application even when I had it open all night.
If I’m paying for a services I’m expecting it to work. This app is not worth the cost of your professional career. I highly recommend you find another application. Subscription canceled..Natg2356Version: 4.3.10
Recurring alarms are no longer recurringI’ve been using this app for years and up until this past week I’ve never had my recurring alarms turn off. I was almost late to work earlier this week because my alarm was automatically turned off from the day before, and I’ve had this same alarm set for the past year with no problems. I thought maybe there was a glitch with the app on my phone so I deleted, turned my phone off then on, and reinstalled it and the same thing happened today. I’m even paying for the premium subscription because the ads had gotten so bad that they would randomly turn on in the middle of the night, waking me up. I don’t mind paying ten bucks a year for no ads but when my daily alarms no longer stay on and I have to manually turn them on daily, I might just not renew my subscription and go look for another alarm clock app..ChicagoGirl208Version: 4.3.30
HORRIBLE PLEASE DON’T USEIf I could give a rating of 0 stars I would. Worked fine on my watch, but my phone played the sound also. Only slightly annoying cuz I had to get up to get to my phone, but then the phone wouldn’t stop playing it!! Just kept chiming until I finally decided to just turn the volume on mute so I could get ready. Later in the day I opted to watch a video on my phone so I turn the volume back up and it’s still playing!!! The only way I could get it to stop was the turn my phone off and on again. Needless to say this app has been deleted and I will definitely never be getting it again. I’ve never had such a bad experience with an app before. You’ve been warned - DO NOT USE!!
On a less annoying (but still annoying) note, the alarm only works if you turn the watch off mute. I get calls and texts in the middle of the night from friends and need my watch to stay muted or they often wake me up..Dev29437Version: 4.0.28
Too many ads ruining a good appI’ve used this app for two years now and it’s been peasant and dependable. I was even okay with the ads that popped up when I opened the app, but they once they were gone they stayed gone all night. Now they pop up, at random times in the middle of the night causing my phone to go to sleep and I wake up to a alarm from a dark screen with no snooze button and a phone that I have to fumble with to unlock just to hit the snooze. The opening ads have gotten so bad that there isn’t a way to x out of some of them to get to the clock screen. I’ve has to close the app as many as three straight times to get a clock screen with no ad transitions. Seriously, does capitalism have to 🤬ruin EVERYTHING?
PS. After taking a deep dive into reviews going back years I can see that my complaints fall on ears stuffed right with money. I’ll be looking for a new alarm clock app..TennesseeTweetyVersion: 4.3.24
Not DependableHave had this alarm app for over a year. Main reason for purchasing is I can set it to come on to my iTunes playlist and it will shuffle through those songs vs playing the same song over and over like the alarm function that comes with the default Apple click. When this app works, I like it. However I cannot depend on it. I’ll set it, and get the notification that it’ll go off, and sometimes it will, but sometimes it won’t. When it doesn’t go off, I open the app and it appears as it it’s been going off, as I have to “stop” it and then it off. The only thing I can link this issue to is getting notifications after it’s set. For instance I set it last night, received 3 notifications (2 missed calls and 1 voicemail), and it didn’t go off this AM. But, it occurs with other non-call related notifications, as well..KjnewellVersion: 4.1.12
Subscription Does Not Work! Buggy As Hell! After paying for a year subscription, for a feature that was free for many years. That would be the Twitter Feed. It has, by all indications, been “authorized” and enabled. But, the Twitter
Feed never actually starts displaying. Regardless of how many times you delete, re-install the app, go through the Twitter
“authorization” process, it will not work. The company has been aware of this recurring issue for months, and they never can quite seem to get all of the bugs worked out regarding this issue, for both the iPad nor the iPhone installs. They ought to not only fix it, they ought to have to give a refund retroactively for the time in between when the app feature doesn’t perform as it should, regarding the Twitter Feed feature, and the time at which they actually get the issue resolved. If they ever do, that is. You have to wonder if they ever test their app after making changes..Switters_2Version: 4.0.17
Ads in the middle of the night?I have used this app since I started using a smart phone for an alarm. Have done away with my actual alarm clock / clock radio. Got used to the one ad that followed opening the app. I get it that I could upgrade to the $ version, but this version has worked so good for so long. Now, I get ads at the bottom of the screen at all times of the night. And not just subtle apps that will respond to the little x in the corner, nor will the brightness control hinder them (well, it does, actually, but there are no numbers to see). These ads are bright! I guess I should be glad that the ads have no audio (for now). Whoever made the decision to include these random ads needs to use the version for themself to see how annoying this is. You do know there are other options out there, right?.Robh7405Version: 4.3.33
Two issuesOne is the ads. Always an issue with the ads. Our world is so stupidly inundated with pointless ads. And when I am trying to wind down for bed and turn on my alarm app, the very thing I don’t need is a blind ad with a video that has sound when my volume is up all the way so I can hear my alarm in the morning, the blinding, blaring ad basically ruins any chances I have of falling asleep, so I am groggy and grouchy in the morning.
Issue number two, is the sleep timer. The good ol’ sleep timer, plays quiet music for one to fall asleep too. I have mine set to play for 3 hours of soothing Kenny G...except I only get about 10 minutes and then for some reason, even though the timer is still ticking, and even though I have at least 3 hours of music set to my timer, it completely stops playing my music.

Goes on silent but shows volumes onSo this is happened to me now five times… It has caused me problems. I’ve put this on two different phones to test it. Despite the fact that my volume is on nothing is muted the app is on the apps volume is on… It now says it’s on silent which it is not. This morning it did not go off but he didn’t tell me last night it was on silent only when it doesn’t go off does it tell you. I’ve use this for a while but it’s not reliable enough now. Since this is an alarm clock to wake you up I can’t gamble with any inconsistencies. It’s my job
Regarding your reply: you do know of this issue just read your reviews below. Just look at January 4 Stephanie she says the same thing I’m saying. So your response seems like a canned response. It doesn’t matter to me anymore because I found another alarm clock that wakes me up every day not just certain days when it decides to make sound..AsufhesVersion: 4.0.14
Use to be 5 star, now 2 at bestI’ve been using this for years (free version) and didn’t mind the ads cuz I would click or wait through them, set the alarm and go to bed. Although it’s easy to use and has good choices for color, sounds, etc, they recently made a change where banner ads now appear randomly through the night, and are usually bright white that lights up the room even when your phone is dimmed to the max. Now imagine that bright light 12” from your face at 2am. Who actually thought this was a good idea? They either have the IQ of celery or the consideration of others commiserate w Charles Manson. And they want to charge $10 a YEAR to get rid of that. I can buy a clock at Goodwill that does the same for 1.99. Deleting this today and finding another app. I very highly do NOT recommend this app or anything by this developer..Turnerjt4Version: 4.3.32
Would be a good app if scam adds weren’t a thingI have used this app for at least 4 years and it works decently good maybe with every 2 months or so the alarm sound doesn’t go off. Since the beginning of this month though it will just jump out of the app to open up a browser that has an obvious scam add for an iPad that has the most obvious bot like reviews. This can happen at any time but seems to happen most of the time after the snooze button is hit. Though one time I was looking through the settings in the app and the scam add came up. Sometimes it happens when I am not even doing anything and haven’t been for at least 2 minutes. If this issue gets resolved then maybe I would give it 4 stars but these recent adds have been WAY out of control..Lightning ,fire ,earth ,iceVersion: 4.3.28
The latest release of this app (Pro) versionI’ve been using this alarm app for years. I paid for the pro version years ago and with the last update Impala studios came out with a separate pro app that requires a monthly subscription. Beyond that there are no discernible differences other than ads.
That said the older copy of the app which I purchased doesn’t have this subscription option built in and completely stopped working because Impala intentionally broke the notifications from sounding even though I have manually verified the notifications on my iPhone 8+ for this app are correct. Again I’m referring to the last pro version of the app I purchased thats virtually the same as the alternate app you came out with involving a monthly subscription.
If I’ve already paid for this app and there has been no added services why are you forcing past customers to pay for a subscription who already paid for the pro version?
Nothing is wrong with the last version of the app before you introduced monthly subscriptions....
This really needs to be looked at because my last version worked fine but conveniently the notifications error......PixelwizardVersion: 4.2.3
Alarm doesn’t go offThis app used to be a 5 because it was perfect for what I needed. It allowed multiple alarms, let you customize the clock face, sounds, displays daily weather information, and was all around easy to use. Now the problem is that it hasn’t been going off the past few days whatsoever. Volume was on, app was open, but nothing. Unlocked my phone this morning, and the first thing it does is a play an ad. So the entire time I had the app open, it was waiting to play an ad before it would let the alarm go off. I understand that developers need ads, but when it keeps the app from doing it’s one main purpose, then there’s a problem. To clarify, I have been using the app for 2-3 years with ads, and only recently started having this issue. I will put this back to a 5 star when it is fixed..SpaklebuttVersion: 4.0.24

Or I’m exhausted & want to sleep but I have to wait 2-3 mins to get through a game ad. COME ON!!! 😡.Speedster9110Version: 4.3.24

Billed for a subscription I didn’t ask forOpened this once on holiday but it drained my battery. Came home to find if subscribed to a year of service! Did I hit something by mistake? Maybe. Was I asked to double click to confirm my decision? No. Sleazy..To-doerVersion: 4.3.19

UnreliableI have been using this app for a few months now.
The few positive aspects that I like about the app are not enough to make up for the app failing to do its intended job.
I will have the app open, with all my volumes on the maximum settings (including every individual alarm I have set), with Do Not Disturb off, on a desk or some other place with no view of my face, basically everthing I can think of to allow the alarm to ring, and it remains completely inconsistent. It'll ring some days and stay silent or near silent others.
I have to rely on an old physical digital alarm clock to ensure I wake up in the morning, which is set a few minutes after the alarm I set on this app. If I need to take a nap before or after work, I can't even rely on this app to wake me up after a few minutes. I'll set an alarm for 5-10 minutes only to wake myself up after to find the alarm "ringing" SILENTLY. I've stayed because I noticed the app was still being updated, which gave me hope that the app was being improved, but I'm just about reaching my limit on this app..ConcernedStrangerVersion: 4.3.19
Quite a useless alarmDoesn’t work on silent mode. Also if you press the snooze button it doesn’t even sound off again a 2nd time. Only the first time. Most useless alarm ever!!.Phone app addictVersion: 4.3.17
Using iOS built in alarms can use a whole playlist using ShortcutsI am giving this app 1 star because they moved to a subscription model with confusing pricing. The functionality of using a whole playlist in the iOS built in alarms can be accomplished with shortcuts and personal automations..D.D 329Version: 4.3.14
Worst batteryI just had my battery swapped, my battery is 100% fine.
This alarm burned 30% of battery for being idle for 4 hours, with only “2 minutes” of screen time reported by the Apple setting page.
Wt* is this app doing ?.Tonytim028284Version: 4.3.13
