This app offers a simple interface to calculate BMI with inputs in either kg-cm or lb-ft-in. I use it at work many times per day. I just tried this update 2.0 and it seems to still work fine. My only suggestion would be that sometimes I have patient info available partly in metric and partly in imperial (e.g., 174cm, 200pounds) and this app doesn't allow mixed inputs. Sure I can convert, but that's another step many times per day. Also there is a small advertisement across the top in the app, but not on the screenshot on the App Store.

I’m not good at calculating my BMI, so this app helps me a lot, probably has accurate has my Wii Fit console in measuring the weight and input of my height, seems that I have shrunk from 5’feet 43/4” down to 5’3” after my neck cervical replacement and both bilateral knees replacement and at 71 years old, constantly exercising and working out, eating lesser amounts of food daily and still not losing weight as much as I would like to.

This app doesn’t track BMI over time, include age in the calculation, or shine your shoes. On the other hand, it also doesn’t use sliders that won’t stay put or include pop up ads that obscure what you’re trying to look at. It’s just simple, easy to read, and by golly, it works.

I’ve been using this app as an RN in a surgical center. But recently an ad has been added when opened. It’s annoying and unprofessional to have an app ad at the patient’s bedside. I’d pay a couple of dollars for the app to have it stopped but it doesn’t seem to be an option so I’ll have to look for another.

Love this app. Simply and easy to use. If your looking for a simple BMI calculator that is straight forward. You will love using this. I am a health coach and use it all the time. Highly recommended.

Does the job, but If you hate annoying obtrusive ads that detract from the app, see if you can find an alternative app!

Considering that this is the basic Body-Mass Index calculator, I like the features it has since it is user-friendly. The only drawback is the advertising but I guess someone needs to pay for the app.

It’s fine. I kind of wish it would automatically advance you to the next entry field. But, it’s fine. I mean, it’s basically just a single math equation — there’s not really a lot of room for “wow! What a great app!” you know?

The app does what it claims to accomplish, but I wish there is a facility to link it with the iOS health application to automatically sync the weight? Also, inputting weights with fractional units would be nice?

This is a very simple tool to calculate BMI from height and weight without extraneous boondoggles along the way. Just enter height and weight and the BMI appears.

I work in a weight loss surgery clinic and have to calculate BMIs regularly. The only thing I dislike about this app is the inability to use fractions of height and weight, such as half pounds and half inches.

I used the free version for years and loved it. It had ads that showed on the perimeters but that was fine, it didn’t obstruct the view. Today I opened the app and a ratings box popped up. I have previously rated the app on several occasions and I get annoyed when any app asks you to evaluate it more than once or maybe once per update. So I gave it 5 stars to get out of the eval process but I left no comments. The ratings box disappeared and I started to enter the first value when an ad banner popped up RIGHT OVER THE VALUE INPUT so I could not use the app. I tried to adjust the ad so it was not interfering with the normal function but I could not relocate it. So I got out and deleted the app and re-installed from the App Store but I got the same results. So I will NOT recommend this app to anyone. I would have given a lower rating but the least you can give is one star. It’s so sad because I really liked the app until the changes were made.

I understand free apps need to use ads to make money, and never had a problem with the unobtrusive banner ads they used before. But having to wait for an ad to load and go away EVERY time I open the app, even if I switch to another app for just a few seconds, is way too irritating. Especially when it screws up the input fields after you’re finally able to close the ad. I might have even purchased the app for a few bucks or so if that option was offered, but I didn’t even see a way to do that. Sadly, after years of use I will be uninstalling.

I loved how fast and simple this app was. The new aggressive advertising has turned me off. The app takes a long time to open now, due to having to watch an ad. You can’t even leave the app open, every time to wake up your phone you have to re-do another ad. Some of the ads have loud sounds so you have to make sure your phone is silenced. Too bad, I’ve used this app for years and turned many folks on to it. The ads killed the practicality of this app.

This app used to be fine. Easy, simple interface. At some point they added ads, and now it’s basically unusable. Sometimes 2 ads will load simultaneously, one on top of the other. Full screen ads with tiny buttons that are intentionally hard to tap. And when you close those, there are still banner ads. I wish I could rate this app negative stars, that’s how bad it is. Never using any app by these developers again.

This was my go to app for quick easy bmi calculation but of course they had to try to make more money off it by adding ads . And these are not simple short adds … no their loud obnoxious adds that have to run for a long time before you click out of them. They took a great easy app and screwed it up!!! Don’t waste your time or that’s what will happen you will be wasting a lot of time on the adds

This app does just exactly what you could do in 1 minute with a calculator or pencil & paper. Hopefully, BMR and waist-to-hip calculations like my favorite BMI app (* which needs to upgrade to iOS 11), are soon to be added. Adding charting for these functions would make this app out perfect, and just as good as my my favorite.

This app is working wonderfully for the longest time and now there are too many pop-up ads. I had to delete it.

App gives out misleading information and should not be taken as fact/seriously. BMI chart was created in the 19th century by a MATHEMATICIAN. It attempts to tell you your health status (underweight, normal, overweight and obese) using ONLY height and weight. But it is INACCURATE because it fails to account for a variety of other variables such as sex, age, race, body type, bone structure, musculature, etc. Look up articles on BMI from medical researchers.

It calculates BMI just fine, and it shows two decimals for the actual BMI which I like. HOWEVER I cannot enter an accurate height of 5’7.5” because it only lets you enter values in whole numbers (like I have to pick 5’7” or 5’8”).

Our entire facility used this app for calculating BMI’s on patients. We have all since switched because you are forced to watch an advertisement each time you open the app!! Nurses don’t have time for that. Choose another app if you don’t want the ads. We did!

I am in health care and needed a simple quick tool to calculate BMI and this app used to be quick and easy with no ads. Now it frequently glitches and interrupts the calculations with ads which I don’t have time for.

I used this app a lot for my job before added a pop up add when you open the app. You can’t use the app until the add finishes. I’ve deleted it and went with a different one.

I have used this app for years. Easy to use. However I have been getting very inappropriate ads/pictures on the app. I will get a different app.

This was great until they added those cheap ads. Now you have to watch 10 seconds of ridiculous ads before being able to use the app. Delete app.

I don’t know what happened, but the app won’t even allow me to input my height or weight without shoving an add in my face. On top of that, the scammer’s “IPhone Storage Is Full” screen pops up. I had to delete this. It’s now unsafe.
