Weblock allows you to control how your device fetches online content. Easily manage PAC (Proxy Auto-Config) script and route different connections through different proxy servers. Weblock can make your device download ads (banners and popups), stats and user tracking, scripts or images through a proxy server you pick. It also allows you to use a different proxy for specific websites, like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, social widgets from websites. You can even define your own content filters. With Weblock you can control proxy for basically any network resource! This way you can choose not to reveal your real IP to different services, limit advanced ad targeting and protect your privacy.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: You're responsible for selecting a proxy server that allows you to download content you wish to download. We DO NOT provide a proxy service. Using a bad proxy server (like 127.0.0.1:8021) might result in some resources being blocked. You can control your proxy settings selectively with Weblock. Contact our support if you need help choosing right proxy server or setting up Weblock on your device.
Here are some situations in which Weblock might come in handy:
• Fetch ads through a proxy server you choose. Protect your privacy and prevent ad servers from knowing your real IP address and tracking you.
• Disable majority of ads on websites you visit on your iOS device! Weblock supports all major web browsers: Safari, Chrome, Mercury and others (browsers redirecting web traffic through third-party servers like Puffin Browser or Opera Mini are not be supported).
• Easily remove all native Facebook widgets and plugins (Like buttons, comments, etc.) on sites you visit - simply disable Facebook plugins in Weblock! Do the same for Twitter, Google+ and other social media.
• Stop annoying Tapatalk popups, nagging you to download forum browsing app on every visit.
• Take control of someone else's device - you can preconfigure any iOS device to control it with your Weblock app. Block or redirect any content, anytime, directly from your own device.
• Your predefined filters and custom rules can be synced between all your iOS devices using iCloud.
• If you wish to block something else, you can create your own rules and filters. You can block any URL (with regular expressions), domain or IP address. Don't know how? Let us know - we're here for you.

Excellent utility!! Don’t think twice! A Detailed ReviewI’ve been using it for quite a long time and have seen them update and add even more great features and while I’ve not needed to use their customer service I know they're very big on offering support so if for some reason you experience any of the issues you may read a few others have written about. Definitely contact them because there’s something wrong with how it was set up or they’ve turned on a blocker they actually don’t want to have on etc. it’s highly customizable and yet extremely simple and quick to use. I truly do not see advertising across many of my apps - aside from the web. I often read complaints re frustrations with ads making the experience using a given app frustrating to the point the user stops using the given app — I truly don’t see those ads - 📌The only thing to know so u won’t b surprised is I’ve on a few sites (Primarily YouTube if u select for it to be proxied) it may seem ur video is taking a long time to load. While I notice no effect on load time in general, I’ve noticed it on YouTube — it‘s often a bit of a pause before ur vid starts bc it’s not showing them but it mustn’t be able to start the video without them thinking they’ve run. I’ve also noticed it depends upon where ur viewing YouTube - ie: within which browser / app or even the YouTube app — as to whether there’s the short lag time while it proxies the ads. This works wonderfully on both my iPhone and iPad. Kudos to the team!.Version: 5.2
Best iOS content blocker availableBest content blocker in the AppStore. Blocks almost 100% of my Safari, Firefox and iCab ads as well as in app ads. Works on WiFi or LTE/4G. (Minor issue: With the latter it is sometimes necessary to toggle the function off and and then on again to kick it in.) Cnn videos only play audio after weblock enabledNot sure what the issue is but when weblock enabled cnn videos on my iphone app only play the audio with a black screen. If i disable the weblock proxy cnn videos work again for both audio and video.Version: 5.2

Very ImpressedThis app has exceeded my expectations! Only been using it with wifi the last couple days, but so far I’ve been very happy! I tried a couple different ad block app options before, that were all disappointing and some were downright scams!! No ad blocker app is perfect (free or otherwise). However this one offers many options, and it’s clearly routinely updated. (Recently it appears they have fixed some problems that were occurring when trying to use with VPN and they have instructions for how to make that work. Since i have a very small data plan, I limit my cellular data usage but I’ll still be giving that a try) It has built in filters that you can choose to activate (or deactivate) for over 1000 ad servers and the best part is that you can add more custom filters by url/domain and/or IP address by following their simple instructions/examples. This is particularly important since the world of add pop-ups, spyware..etc is forever expanding. Well worth the $3, and it’s very satisfying every time I see evidence of it working and the add sites (that often open in additional tabs when streaming videos online through gorilla vid..etc.) get blocked !.Version: 5.2
Good, but for one issueThis thing is awesome. I’ve had it for years. The only annoying thing is when I’m searching for something on Google and it still shows the google ads, but prevents me from accessing them. To be clear, I can see the ad, but when I click on one, it stops me from being directed to the website I’m trying to get to. The only way for me to get to the website is to turn off my wifi or Weblock. Kind of annoying..Version: 5.2

No longer blocking many adsI love this app and it's been flawless until recently. Now I'm being flooded with ads on many sites (checked it was still configured correctly and it is). I'm reporting ads using the weblock extension but it seems as though the filter is broken and/or out of date. Works like a charm, securelyLet me start by saying: none of your data goes through their servers. Looking into how this app works, blocked requests go to Google's DNS server, or your own "dummy proxy" to be rejected. All other requests are unchanged.
