App convenienceEvery time I shop at Food 4Less I have the hardest time getting my advertised discounts. I always hold up the line at the cashier’s. The cashier is always so understanding and helpful to me. That is the reason why I return to shop there. I feel your store advertising is just a fishing hook for customers. Nice App, But There’s Just One Thing...One of the things I liked about the Food4Less app was seeing the estimated total of all the items on my shopping list, which made it easy for me to plan my grocery budget. Now, that feature isn’t a part of the updated app, and I miss it. I really hope it’ll be brought back, because it was a helpful tool when I plan my shopping trip. BEWARE: Do NOT use delivery method!Food4less contracts their deliveries with instacart people. I decided to give it shot because there was over $30 in savings including free shipping. It was supposed to be delivered between 8-10am the next day. Next day arrives and there is constant going back and forth for substitutions (not the shoppers fault but highly inconvenient) due to 1/3 of my grocery items being unavailable. Why include items in the ap for that location if it’s not even available? Shopper ended up delivering my groceries after 12pm. Additionally, i lost all but $3 worth of my coupon savings bc i no longer met the minimum requirements to use certain coupons. Ended up wasting time and money. Time because i still had to buy the remaining items myself and money because i still had to pay the delivery fee and tip the shopper. Beats the whole point of its purpose and of me trying it out. Crap of an app and businessI am officially done with this app. Why do I need to login every time I open the app and why did it make it so difficult to have any deals on the app? I can they just have the deals for anybody that comes in and that’s that. Why do I have to login and give them my information? It’s one thing I have to keep logging in now it’s another where they make it so difficult to look for the deal on the app. Can’t find anything to make the app so not user-friendly. HorribleI tried using this to shop for a locker pickup only to find out the app logged me out and I had to verify and read my whole cart since it redirects you to your phone browser, removing everything you did in the app!! Pickup isn’t offered until the next day after a certain time. The app kept asking me how I want my order and where to collect after inputting that information twice. This made me realize how much thought Target put into their app and having your cart saved when checking out would be great. New update is really disappointing!I am really disappointed with the new update to the Food4Less app. I have been using this app for a few years now and rarely had an issue with it. Now, my coupons won’t come off at the register even though they are clipped in the app, you can not click on the weekly ad to add items to your list, not to mention I couldn’t even find the weekly ad you have to go into another section to see it. The home page is just a mess in general. The coupons are also harder to find or not all are available unless you scan it at the store. Forced couponsMy elderly parents are being forced to use a glitchy app in order to receive the promotions advertised in store. The worst part is the employees also don’t know how to use it. They keep you waiting only to hand an ad. I have experience with this so I thought it would be simple but nope. My old account is useless now. I cant log in and access anything anymore. I have to consent sharing my information with a company named Inmar but it still doesn’t work. Worst Grocery App everI thought the Angelo Caputo app was bad but this one makes me want to not even shop at Food4 Less. To get the deals you have to click the coupons but to click the coupons you open the page for coupons then go down the list, tap on that then tap on clip this coupon which then brings you all the way back to before the list of coupon. New Version is BADThey updated the app recently that made it non user friendly. Before, when you scanned an item, if there was an online coupon available it would appear below the item photo so you could click to add it. Now, you have to manually search if a coupon is available. Worst App I’ve Ever Used!I have now tried two times to use this app. Six months ago I loaded it and could not get the Manteca, Ca store to show up as a store location for a pick up. False advertisingI get emails from them saying that there is something I can buy with a coupon but I need to login. So I login and then I tried to clip the coupon for the item that I saw on my email and it is no longer available even though it says it is going to expire tomorrow. App from food for lessThe app for location stays open and shortens battery life. The cashiers at the El Monte location are no help to customers who want to down load the app. One big cashier with black curly hair is very rude when asked for help and just removes.
