Perfect & Easy to use!I usually don’t write reviews but I was having trouble finding a scanner app that fit for me. As other students are experiencing, due to COVID-19, I have to scan many assignments & upload them online. The whole process is very simple! I made multiple folders for my different classes. Scanning the photos are simple & you can easily adjust the borders & if you want your document to be the original picture or black & white. Also naming the document is a big part as to why I love this app as it’s easy to figure out after you scan your documents. It’s free & not hard to figure out. Perfect for Home BusinessI have been working remotely for years and my conventional printer / scanner has always been a bit temperamental. This app has allowed me to travel for both business and pleasure and have the ability to scan and email docs from anywhere. Feature rich. No need for anything elseIt was the first app for scanning that I downloaded, and it fulfilled all my needs. You can scan to PDF in black and white, grey scale or color. Options for other formats. Sending to email is easy if you use the Mail app, otherwise you have to save to the bookshelf and attach to another email that way. I love it that you can correct the perspective. The app identifies the shape of the page when you scan with a little angle to avoid glare or the shadow of the phone on the page. Convenient! Versatile!This is my favorite scanner! So quick and easy to use. I love its speed in processing. When copying photos I can keep them as jpegs or create pdfs. It did take me awhile to realize that after I saved the first scan I could add another scan from the camera or a file to the same file. For Free it’s Worth itOnly issue is when you name the document, you are typing under text that will not clear out. Sometimes it is hard to see what you have named it. But for convenience working off the phone, it’s handy. Note, your recipient will see that you used “ FastScanner”, so depending on where you work, remove before sending. Great!This app has been incredibly convenient and useful so many times. I’m amazed at the functions it provides for free and haven’t needed to upgrade but probably will just because I’d like to support the developers. Recently not working wellI’ve been using fast scanner for years. It was a fantastic app to get important documents scanned and sent to where it needs to go. Unfortunately, the app no longer allows me to send documents to my email. I’ve tried using different emails to get the scanned documents sent but the email never comes. This has been an issue for several months. This was not an issue before, please address this! No one notices this is just my phone, not a scan! HahaThe only this bad about this app is that you have to explain to people why you have a scanner, but not a printer (I don't own a printer). Great free scanner appEverything works perfectly every time. Only thing I wish was there was the ability to retake photos. Sometimes once you're in the scan, you notice something wrong. Instead of having to retake all of the pictures, it'd be awesome to select one or more pages and be able to edit it individually. Great appMy primary use for this app is for sending wildland firefighting documents from the field back to the home office, usually while cell and internet coverage is limited. Ads Interfering with WorkI like the app, with only one discrepancy, the functionality of the app is exactly what I’m needing, but, the edge interfering in the middle of me utilizing the functionality is a major hindrance. Guy that’s not pulling out his hairThis app is awesome. We used to take a lot of pictures(receipts and invoices), organize them and try to email them got very frustrating at times. This made everything so much simpler. Open the app take the pictures, which it will even help straight out your picture so it’s not all weird and angled. Excellent Customer ServiceI was easily able to snap pics of my documents to store as PDFs. As I tried to email the docs to myself I ran into an issue ( my fault-I had recently deleted my mail app!). Ok for simple tasksI don’t scan documents too often, so FastScanner is very helpful if you need to send something quick and easy. However, I needed to submit a document with color in it... I wasn’t able to see the “blue pen” signature clearly at all. Also it’s not easy to create document folders - I used my iPhone and the text field for writing titles etc were all jammed together. FANTASTIC APPThis app has been phenomenal, and a huge help to me, consistently, over the past several years. Polarizing ads, divisive for users.So, it’s a free app, nice to have the option to scan once in a while with the phone without buying the full subscription. If I need an app more often, I would likely upgrade the one I’ve been using already, right? But now that the election is getting tense, is there a reason to insist users endure political ads? It’s not even both sides, just one obvious political side. Why does fast scanner think they will persuade users over to one side by forcing a captive audience to watch their ads while waiting to scan a document? Need to be able to edit pictures after the first time of editing themNice product, my teacher likes it, but I hate that if you are in the middle of taking a series of photos and you accidentally exit out or your phone turns off by accident, it will delete all the pictures you have already took. I also don't like that once you have already made a set of pictures and edited them that you can't just add another picture to them if you forgot to add it.
