Full of unfortunate bugsThis is a beautifully designed app. I bought the pro version immediately after seeing John Gruber mention it, and have been disappointed ever since. Notifications don’t work consistently. Live Activities don’t work consistently. During the Qatar race yesterday, the app kept telling me that the race would start in negative time (eg 30 min after start it told me the race started in -30 minutes). I have filed multiple bug reports via email and gotten no response from the developer. I have also tried asking for support on Twitter with no luck. Looks great, but doesn’t workThis app is very well designed, however the notifications before the race don’t work and the “live” timings don’t update without force quitting the app and restarting it. Could be great but it isn’t worth it nowI really gave this app a chance and the benefit of the doubt over several F1 races. I hardly write reviews but felt compelled to here. This app is well designed and given the lack of choice could be truly great if it worked as advertised. Continuously encountered problems of: - Schedules not updating - Live races not updating - Live activities not working as expected - iOS widgets not updating At the end of the day when the race is on and the app either a) thinks the race hasn’t started (schedule timer is wrong) or b) live race updates are not displaying correctly, it ultimately isn’t worth the hassle and holding constant hope that it might work as expected. Last - this is not a paid app and has in-app purchases for a Pro mode. That’s all well and good but it will frustratingly continuously spam the Pro mode prompt to purchase every time you open the app without fail. Why not just make this a paid app if it’s going to spam you to pay for the Pro version non-stop? I have no confidence to buy the Pro version given how it works with basic data. I hope feedback is taken and this gets better because the UX is there - it just doesn’t work..Freshestprince7Version: 1.5.2
