Great printer!I’ve always been a canon user, since back in the day using the OG Canon 5D and back even more using the 35mm film. From cameras to printers, I’ve never been disappointed. This is my 3rd printer in 3 years which is unfortunate but I love it. The inside mechanism makes a lot of noise when pulling the pictures in and my old ones would start making crinkly noises and leave streaks on my pictures, it’s how I knew I needed a new one. Keeps cropping imagesThe printer keeps cropping my images and unfortunately I don’t know until after the photo is printed. It is pricey for ink and paper to be wasting it. And the app says it doesn’t support editing for my printer. Just another way to get people to buy a newer model I suppose. I won’t purchase another Canon even though pictures are excellent, at least those that don’t get cropped. Looking for another brand next time. Canon’s customer service is lousy. It would be nice to get help to log into Canon site so I can at least find some drivers. I am locked out from the site for an unknown error, again no help to fix that issue. Must save doc. Before printing and spends way to much time in self cleaning mode.My printer worked flawlessly for almost 10 yrs, with this new app, it spends to much time self cleaning on all wakeups and pre printing. One of the least functional printing appI like the way it boots fast and pretty straightforward with printing regular pages. What I’m missing badly is the possibility to adjust scale, spread, position in the spread if needed. Also to change a setting you click on it and it takes you to another window which is exactly same with the same elements in the list, but then you have to click on the menu item again, and then you can actually change it. Why would you make me do the same thing twice? Isn’t it easier to have the dropdown at the first place?
