About TextSwap (Martin Loch)

Search for text in files and easily replace it in an instant. Find and replace text in multiple word documents, excel files, power-point files, and many more (see full list at the end). Save hours looking for files or text in your folders, and then easily replace the text directly in TextSwap. Search also for text in PDFs (string search only, no OCR).

TextSwap comes with advanced search features like regular expression (regex), searching subfolders, matching case, whole words and more. TextSwap can also launch files directly in their default app or open their directory with an easy button click.

Please note this software is still in beta; for especially large pptx files with a lot of media, please back up before replacing. Also, this software only replaces saved strings at the moment, not combined text generated from formulas.

How do I cancel the TextSwap subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Apple ID (your name) at the top, go to Subscriptions, select TextSwap from the list and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you can keep using the app until then. See Apple's official subscription management page for details.

How do I delete the TextSwap app?

Touch and hold the TextSwap icon on the Home Screen, choose Remove App and then Delete App. Important: if you have an active subscription, deleting the app does not cancel it automatically - you must first cancel your subscription using the steps above.
