This feels like chit chat with the girls.I try to read my Bible and it’s so hard. I even got all the cute Bible study stuff like highlighters, cute pens , and cute stationary. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO HIGHLIGHT. But something about this app really works. It’s giving The Bible for Gen Z and I love it. The vocabulary used is great and keeps me engaged. It feels like a chit chat session with the girls and they are spilling MASSIVE amounts of tea. Who knew the Bible had so much DRAMA, and who knew Jesus was such a girls girl? Bittersweet ..I downloaded this app because I seen it on Tik Tok. I am also going through a rough time and wanted to start having Bible study. I would have given 5 stars because I love the break down of each stories but there are some cons which resulted in 3 stars - Paying for a Bible app is CRAZY work. To charge 6.99 A WEEK..like hello? Are yall cool? Do yall not see the state of the economy? You want someone to pay $40 for 3 months and the rest of the Bible isn’t on the app? Either charge a one time fee or make the app free - Y’all need to bring Raquel back. Between her and Jenna, their voices are the only ones I can listen to. - Not sure what the hold up is, but add all the other stories especially if folks are paying $6.99 to $40. Like at this point it’s robbery. We paying and the work isn’t even done. I feel as though a story should be posted daily (since some folks pay weekly) or weekly. Overall, I think more people would download if it was F R E E and all the stories were uploaded. I will give it another month and if I don’t see any new chapters, I will cancel. Amazing for anyone that struggles to pay attentionI’ll be honest, I was a little skeptically at first since it’s $40 every 3 months. But I’m so glad I got it! It’s okay i guessI paid about 80$ which I wasn’t upset with at first but learning there’s only a couple of stories is driving me insane because I finished them all and I’m still waiting for the “over 250 more stories” to come out before my subscription is up because I won’t be renewing, one of the other reasons being I can only listen to Raquel and Jenna’s voices which they lose them in the newer stories. Lots of room for improvementThe stories are lacking in a lot of detail, it doesn’t cover every story in the Bible, and the price is honestly outrageous for what little substance you get. It’s also pretty repetitive, describing every main character as “built different.” I get it, it’s supposed to be modern and all, which I love, but switch it up a LITTLE. Also not a super fan of AI. This is amazing for me!I’m not going to lie and I will be honest when it comes to reading the Bible. I do my best to try to get into the word however I get distracted. I have a hard time understanding. What can I say? I’m stuck into modern ways. Sometimes it’s hard for me to be able to sit down being a busy mom as well to read my Bible. But this app has made it so easy for me to just clean the house and blast this loud and feel like wow this is so much easier to understand for me and break it down for me still go on reading my Bible to understand a little bit more detail helps break it down a lot more easier for me to understand. This is amazing and I think this is great for people who are. Trying to learn about God, trying to learn the stories, but have a hard and just need a more modern way or somebody to help you also understand the meaning story, the message behind it I know some people are mad because it’s and yes, I understand that could be frustrating However, I feel like if we could give $20 a month on ChatGPT, Netflix , DoorDash etc I feel like it is 100% worth every dollar to invest in learning the word of.
