Decent but why can’t I use my speaker?I like to listen to music at night, or ‘sleep sounds’ like the ocean. Every time I start tracking my sleep, however, my music immediately stops playing through my Bluetooth speaker and my phone won’t even show the speaker as an option for use despite being connected to my phone. I don’t understand this and can not figure out how to fix it. I believe it’s something to do with the app but it’s frustrating because I can’t see a benefit for it.
Other than that, the app works decently and the device reports my sleep data fairly accurately. If I could play my music (or the calming sounds offered in app) through my Bluetooth speaker I would do it in a heartbeat..Rosieposey4454Version: 1.3.0
ResMed S+Been using for 3 weeks and although the improvements mentioned would be nice, it’s helped me.
My biggest complaints are it cuts my iPhone alarm clock noise to low so now my clock is useless for charging iPhone. I’m trying to use my iPad with the app so my phone can still charge & alarm still work.
Most desired improvement would be to have it combine multiple start and stop on the same day or allow a pause on tracking.

Easy to use, seems accurateThe only thing I don’t understand is why the app penalizes me for sleeping eight hours. I understand that people my age (73) sleep about 6 1/2 hours on average. However, as far as I can tell the recommended amount of sleep for adults is still 7 to 9 hours. I have had scores of 97 and 99 for REM and deep sleep, yet my total score is 94 because I slept eight hours and 20 minutes. Solid app does what’s supposed to.It gives clear sleep data from the S+ machine.
The doze off to sounds feature is very useful, it actually matches the rhythm of the users breathing to the selected track.
Decent insights into sleep as well.
There are a few flaws -can’t delete any sleep record despite it being your data.
The graphs need more time points o n then.
Naps need to be recognized as naps, and not included in sleep total graphs

Hardware good, app terribleResMed is a leader in CPAP and this hardware is excellent but the app is incredibly badly designed. It requires that your smartphone is near your bed (we usually keep it in another room while sleeping). The app must be manually started before sleeping and stopped upon awakening, and this is not a simple screen tap - you have to scroll down past questions it asks you to start it. If you hit the wrong part of the screen which is easy to do without glasses or when you are groggy then you have to navigate back to the main screen.
It would be truly great if integrated with their CPAP and communicated directly with the website. It would also be better if the S++ device did not require cell phone proximity and if it detected sleep and automatically turned on and off.

PotentialThe S+ hardware and software combination has great potential. The hardware functions amazingly well, sensing key details of the sleeping environment as well as your level of sleep all without contact with your bed or your person. It apparently rejects irrelevant data, like that belonging to your sleep partner very well.
After five nights using the S+ monitoring system I attribute it's shortcomings to the software.
The app functions well with one key acception; it does not report all of your sleep data. For that you must go to a ResMed website which on Safari operates anywhere from painfully slow to respond to failing to load at all.
Once the website's apparent issues are resolved I have few doubts that I will make great use of the system but for now it is difficult to recommend, even at a sale price of less than $70..Celluloid freakVersion: 1.3.0
Great when it actually works.Very buggy. I’m losing sleep trying to get the thing to work every night. Takes a long time to pair every night and sometimes doesn’t pair at all. It’s also lost connection during the night. Won’t record any data if not connected. You’d think for the size of the darn thing it would be able to record by itself. Where’s the update?There are a ton of bugs with this app. Great concept and it’s great when it works, but that’s rare. No environmental data (you have to log into their website (hosted on really slow servers) to see any of that.
Doesn't register light or noise except the most obvious sort. Anything coming from neighbors won't register. Needs to be something in your room emitting loud noise or flashing bright light directly onto device. So that's not really useful.
S+ mentor advice is pretty generic and applies to basically everyone.
Experience feels like "abandonware" -- not much love went into this app.
