Useful, but falls shortI use my AirMini device when traveling away from home. It’s small and portable and beats lugging around my larger ResMed AirSense 11 home device. For the most part, the AirMini app functions in a similar way as the AirView app for my Air Sense 11 device, which is a good thing. However, there are two aspects about the AirMini app that fall short. Firstly, the app indicates that nightly sleep data is uploaded to the cloud, but what cloud?? I’ve exchanged messages with my sleep doctor, the medical device company where I purchased the AirMini (as well as Sense 11) and neither know how to access the so-called uploaded data. I even reached out to ResMed directly and I didn’t get a useful response. Secondly, unlike the AirView app, there is not an option to generate a compliance report. Since my doctor and insurance company don’t see uploaded data from my AirMini, it would be nice to be able send them a detailed report. Sending them pics of each nights results displayed on a colorful wheel displayed on the app just doesn’t cut it..Gfrad303Version: 1.5.8

The app is irrelevant; the Air Mini is the Greayest!I started with a humidifying CPAP machine, but was intrigued by the Air Mini’s small size. I was dubious about buying one because it was marketed as a “travel” CPAP machine. I had experimented with humidity using the other machine, and I realized that the humidifier is mostly a marketing gimmick: the machine puts out the same air you have been breathing all evening, at the same temperature. If you need humidification to breathe comfortably you would need humidified air all the time. [I live in Alaska and run a humidifier all the time in the winter. I don’t need a booster for the CPAP. machine.] I finally bought an Air Mini (same price as all the equivalent machines) and was immediately pleased with how quiet it was. I have had no trouble of any sort with the Air MinI, and it’s small size makes it perfect for traveling. It is extremely quiet, and my machine came programmed. It only takes up a small corner of my nightstand. If you insist on Resmed also offers a revolutionary new humidifying system that removes the moisture from the breath and uses it to humidify the next oncoming. The app is like everyone else’s: it records length of sleep, mask fit, pressure, and number of apnea events. After a month I quit following it, and rarely check it. WORKS GREAT - 1st TIMEThings may change but after reading the first positive review and before attempting to pair the AirMini I UNPLUGGED THE CORD. Then I reconnected the cord and it walked me right through the pairing process which worked perfect the first time. At first I couldn’t find the app but when attempting to pair on my own by “winging it” the process provided the link for the app. After downloading and launching the app it was a couple easy steps and it paired right away. As slick and easy as computing is in this modern life we enjoy there are still massive numbers of variables in getting tech to work right every time, first time. All companies have inevitable flaws but it is way easier to resolve them than it was a mere few years ago. App is useful, still needs improvement but making progressI have had the air mini and app since they first were released. I have found both important travel “companions” and have started using them at home. I am still frustrated that the long-term data doesn’t seem to be stored anywhere. Most frustrating are the difficult standards for rating excellence which over time are discouraging (to this user!). To constantly get grades of 60-70 with an occasional 80 makes trying an arduous path. Furthermore the suggestions for improving are at best sketchy . This is especially true of mask “adjustment” (in instructions it says “not too tight”). Also amount of sleep and the negative points 6 hrs gets (isn’t it relative?). Oils be betterI wish ResMed would allow data from the AirMini to be merged with data from MyAir. I have an AirMini that I travel with 40-50 nights a year and have an AirSense 10 that I use at home. I use one or the other every night, so my report should be able to show that I use my CPAP therapy 100%. However, when my doctor gets a report it only shows data from my home machine that shows i am only about 80% compliant. It seems like this could be an easy fix to allow data to flow from my AirMini through my iPhone to the MyAir cloud and be included with the data on my home machine. If I am using my CPAP therapy 100% of the time, I want my report to reflect that regardless of which machine I use..CurtisnullVersion: 1.5.4

Easy to use,Purchased an Air mini recently. This app is necessary if you are already using the Air Sense 10. Set up and connection to the device was easy. Installing the filters would be confusing without the tutorial videos in the app. You do need to manually prompt it to upload the data from the Air Mini. It doesn’t combine the data from Air Sense and Air Mini so proving compliance to insurance may require doctors office to do some extra work. Best traveling CPAP app/machineI rarely write reviews here, but this machine/app combo deserve a little of bit of a praise. The app is great, it feels like a well thought out software design development. It’s easy to follow step-by-step video walkthrough made reading the machines manual unnecessary. Pros - User interface and machine setup - Ease of use and scored based overall night diagnostic - Lightweight and iPhone/iPad support Cons - Would love to have push notifications reminders to use the mask - Exportable reports to be shared via the iMessage or other mobile friendly apps. - Sync compatibility with my Resmed air sense, it doesn’t really make sense that the nights I travelled are not documented on my air sense 10. Just unplug it.....I was having issues like everyone else getting my smartphone to sink up via blue tooth to the air mini device until I started unplugging the power cord and plugging it after use plugging it back in prior to using it again. It always syncs properly if I just do that. If you leave the device plugged in all day even if the machine is off, for some strange reason the Bluetooth won’t sync up automatically and needs to reset by cutting off the power source..AASHAWVersion: 1.3.0

Catch 22Opened my regular ResMed app to check my sleep from last night and it says I need to update the app. When I hit the “Update” button it opens the App Store and to a new ResMed Mini app. Ok, so I load that app and open it. Set up is exclusively for the ResMed Mini travel device and not for my regular device. So, basically I’m up the creek without a working app for my device. I can no longer get a ResMed score for my air sense 10I think it would be great if the developer would rethink this. The Resmed Airsense 10 does not have a Bluetooth button, therefore there is no way to pair with the app to get your sleep score. App will not open in my cell phone (update)I was able to get the app to open after deleting it and reinstalling it. I read another review which said that the data for our nights sleep is not automatically uploaded so it can be seen for compliance. Will that be updated in the future so we will not have to do the extra steps to make sure our data is being shared with those who need to see it? Update, I was able to get the App to open. Updated To wrong app issue resolved- app works great again! Works PERFECTLYNot sure why some of the other reviewers had difficulty with this app, but since I started, it has worked perfectly and does all that it is supposed to do. Love this app!I don’t understand the bad reviews. I recently started using my AirMini every night due to the recall on the Phillips DreamStation. This app is so much better than the Phillips app! It reliably connects with Bluetooth. I can use it to check my mask seal. I can use it for settings or turn on and off the AirMini. The data is reliable, straightforward, and helpful. Wanted to give it 5 starsI wanted to give the app 5 stars however it doesn’t let me export the data to give my doctor - also it doesn’t tell me what my actual seal/leakage is. Gives you everything you need...It’s a mobile app to replace the interface you’d otherwise have on the standard Airsense S10. The fact the device has all the algorithms from both the Autoset and Autoset for her and the clinical menu provides everything you need to set the prescription. Please Link Data from AirMini to MyAirI’m new to AirMini - so far so good. I sleep in hotel three nights per week and until recently I had to check a bag because of size if Airsense. Excellent App Love it!I Switched from my Dreamstation due to the recall/ 5 year replacement. Works good so far. Have over 200 hours on it.Some improvements for the app like others have said is to link with the “apple health” app. It also seems that if you travel many time zones away from where you setup the app you have two choices. Live with the usage track not being synced with the time of day or delete the app and reload it in your new time zone. If you decide to delete/reinstall make sure you have the “upload sleep data” turned on. I had no problems and all of my previous data stayed intact. This is probably not something to be done on short trips but for me working abroad it is ok. I’m guessing this inconvenience is left this way for peoples insurance compliance data. Get the basics right please!Getting this thing connected via Bluetooth is incredibly difficult. Somehow the app lost its connection so I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I’ve now made 15 attempt to connect via Bluetooth without success. Separate issue: why is there a separate app that has identical features and functions to Resmed’s myAir? Why not just include the ability to add another device? It is ridiculous to go back-and-forth between two apps to look at partial reports of the SAME data. The only reason I’m not rating this app lower is because I know that it works when it’s connected (from past experience)..PazifistaVersion: 1.5.7

Unobtainable data and horrible Bluetooth connectivityI’ve had the Air Mini for nearly a year now and honestly wish I would’ve seen the app reviews before purchasing. The Air Mini is great and truly makes travel easier than having to lug the AirSense 10 around. However, the great app myAir that the AirSense 10 uses is completely separate from the Air Mini app and doesn’t allow any communication between the two, so reports will show gaps if you plan to show them to your doctor. Also, the Bluetooth connectivity from the app is beyond egregious as my phone can connect to the device but the app takes 5-10 minutes to connect to the device for no reason. Lastly, the report that you can access (after getting access to the “cloud” from customer service and 90 minutes of your time) is in an outdated format that can’t even be converted, so if you and your doctor do not have the capability to view the report it’s simply unreadable. HelpI purchased an AirMini a couple of months ago and have absolutely loved the machine. The app has worked fine up until a couple of days ago when suddenly it would say I am only using the machine for two hours when in fact, I was using it for eight hours. It’s happened about three days in a row and I don’t know what to do to correct it. I did not get up, turn it off, or disconnect it, just slept continuously, but it still showed fewer hours than was actually used. It’s a shame that with the magnitude of negative feedback, one would expect Resmed to be very humble, apologetic, and extremely eager to help it’s customers. My cpap company that I work with says that even though they sell Resmed products, they find Resmed as a whole very hard to work with and have an arrogant attitude and lack a willingness to help. (probably due to the Phillips Dreamstation problem, they feel they’re the only game in town and don’t need to provide excellence of service). When I read the response from Resmed to one of the reviews crying out for help, I was shocked by the lack of remorse, caring, or humbleness on behalf of Resmed in their response..4mikeyboyVersion: 1.6.1

Where is My Data etc?Resmed says the AirMini data is “uploaded to the cloud” period. What cloud? I can’t get it from the cloud and I’ve been to two doctors that can’t get the data from the AirMini. So whose cloud is it sitting in? It is MY data so why can’t I ( or my doctors) see the data? Isn’t it a legal issue that patients must be able to access all their records? I regret buying the AirMini because of this app! Also why does the AirMini and the Airsense 11 use two different apps that don’t talk to each other?? Ihave gaps in MyAir app when I use the AirMini. Why does it matter which machine I am using? They are both ResMed machines and should report ALL the data to the same place. Difficult To Access Configuration MenuWas hoping the app would be useful to set up and configure the Airmini, but it turned out to be anything but. There is no menu for setup and configuration to adjust pressure and whatnot, so I had to dig up the clinicians manual and find the hidden shortcut to enter the configuration menu (hold two fingers on the logo in the bluetooth menu). This really should just be a standard menu option, otherwise why bother with the app? Also, why does Resmed need to harvest my usage data? That really should not be checked by default. The US desperately needs GDPR equivalency laws to protect personal information from this kind of unnecessary collection and abuse. From reading through the clinician's manual, it seems there is another mode called "Autoset for Her" that is reminiscent of the "Bic for Her" marketing campaign. I can only assume it's the same geniuses behind both. But it does beg the question, why isn't the other mode called "Autoset for Him"? No comprehensive reports?I saved for months to get the $1K out-of-pocket travel machine from the same company as my primary machine, only to find out it’s got a completely separate app and provides no comprehensive reports of all my hard fought compliance? Even my sleep specialist has to go out of their way to pull the data from a separate source and manually merge it together! What is this, 1990? I travel for work a lot. I’m frequently forced to choose between gate checking the modest equipment I need for my job or my CPAP, because both cannot fit in the tiny overheads. Now, I can be sure it will stay safely in the cabin, but I get to play chicken with my insurance coverage because I will appear noncompliant. You cannot win for losing. Provides incorrect data analysis, no data download availableBoth this app for the ResMed AirMini and the myAir app for the ResMed 10 provide incorrect analysis and are therefore useless. In addition, the data reported by these apps is not available for download, so there’s no way to get a correct analysis in some other way. The problem is that these apps report numbers of device usage hours wildly at odds with reality. It seems to get confused with naps and sleep nights that start too early or too late (for shift work for example). Alternatively, it may be getting confused about time zones. In any case the reported number of usage hours rarely corresponds to reality. I suspect the developer gave up on coming up with an algorithm to correctly determine when nights are and which nights should naps apply to (which is easy enough for a human to determine when looking at the data), though the problem may lie elsewhere. This app may work if you always go to sleep before midnight, always get up before noon, and don’t take naps. Otherwise, you’ve just spent a thousand or so dollars on a good machine with bad software. Bluetooth flaky. Can’t export data.Won’t connect to phone over Bluetooth unless you unplug and replug it each time (there is no power switch). Can you trust a medical device maker who can’t master Bluetooth? There’s no way to simply export your data to your smartphone - you need a different app for that and to sign up for resmed’s unsecure cloud storage for your medical data (nope, not going to do that), then you still won’t be able to export your raw data in any useful form. If resmed solved these two issues, the AirMini would be the perfect travel/off-grid solution. The hardware works really well, but this smartphone app is so limited and flawed, it seems like it must be intentional neglect to prop up their other software non-solution..Skilzthatkilz199Version: 1.5.8

Poor data reporting and linkage to Air11My main machine is Air11. The Myair app allows for snapshot data as well as viewing history data. The Airmini app only allows viewing of snapshot data and history data can only be downloaded by clinician. However , if you purchased Airmini online this is not generally easy to do. And since there is no SD card the user data is essentially locked out from user access. The Airmini app data download was first added 6 yrs ago and has not been updated even though the Myair app has had user history access for a while. I would NOT recommend the purchase of Air Mini if you plan on occasional use. The total lack of app support should be a warning..RickinSayreVersion: 1.6.1

Great machine. Lousy app. Constantly unpairs from IPhoneI’ve had the Air Mini for almost a year. It’s great: portable and quiet. The app could be much better. Specifically, several times a week, it unpairs from my IPhone 13. Also, there is no way to link C-PAP usage between my portable, travel air mini and the home unit, a Res Med AirSense10. That is a problem because I can’t print out DOT required compliance reports, I have to bother my medical doctor for those compliance reports, which need a one year look back. Would you mind working on getting the app more functional please?In order to get the Bluetooth to work I have to unplug my air mini. The problem with that is I lose all the data from the night before, we’ll all data period. What’s the point if our data lasts as long as snap chat? First, should I really have to unplug my machine each time and go through setting up a new connection each time? I am delighted to have such small machine that gives me a little humidity. Can’t pair with iphone 14 proThe app used to pair fine with iphone 13 pro but fails on the 14 pro. The device appears under Bluetooth settings on the phone and can connect to it, but it does not show up in the app when you try to connect while the blue light is flashing on the device. The pick an accessory pop up remains blank so you can’t pick the device to connect. I have tried power cycles on both, reinstalled the app, but to no avail. I tried to connect using my iPhone 13 pro and it connected right away through the app, but not on the iphone 14 pro..Soul MonkVersion: 1.5.10

Lost the ability to count the hoursI had this app on an iPhone 8 and it worked very well. On a new iPhone 13 it forgot how to count the hours. Every morning it reports I slept 3 hours or less when in fact I slept 6 hours or more. The next morning, the new reading is also wrong, but then the report for the previous morning shows the correct number of hours. This happens every day. Virtually useless app demonstrates complete lack of understanding of customer needsLike many others, I need to provide annual compliance reports for my medical certification for my job. However, neither my health care provider nor I can access a full year’s data from the machine. It is ridiculous to expect a customer to keep daily use reports and then compile that data manually. Please correct this by providing an annual report my Doctor and I can access just like you’ve already proven you can do with the airsense 10. Consistent Complaint, Never a ResMed ResponseOn both this AirMini app page and on the myAir app reviews, the complete lack of integrated reporting is time and time again posted by dual device users. Never ANY response from ResMed regarding the inability to see both AirMini and AirSense devices on a single report. No ability for a user to print a report of AirMini usage. Physicians say it’s a pain, medical equipment people say it’s a pain, and the users who bought two devices say it’s a pain. Year after year. Poor appTwo issues need to be addressed. 1. If you walk away from the Air Mini with your iPhone, the Bluetooth connection is lost. Ok, I understand that, but when you return to it, you must go through the Bluetooth connection protocol again. To make matters worse, you must unplug the AirMini to reconnect. Other Bluetooth devices can reconnect automatically, why can’t the AirMini? 2. I have an AirSense10 that keeps track of my use, but the days I use the AirMini, my CPAP usage is logged at zero. Can’t view reportsI use an AirSense 10 at home and can view, download and print my reports at home (which are required for my DOT physicals) but this app and machine not only won’t combine the reports from my AirSense 10 and the AirMini, I also can’t even view my reports on the AirMini. I have to go to a CPAP supplier who has the software to download the report then print it and take to my doctor. That’s exactly how it was done years ago and was very inconvenient especially when the supplier is 40 minutes away. Very Poor Excuse for an appWhat this app should be is a carbon copy of “MyAir”. This app falls short in every category. A user should be able to generate their own report. The user should be able to go through their history with the same ease as their full sized machine. ResMed missed the mark with the app. It makes me sad I bought the machine as it seems both resmed at their retailers have no intention or interest in helping the consumer retrieve their data. Superficial AppThe app works as advertised but only gives basic, superficial data. Every morning I wake up and see my sleep score but there’s no real detailed info to share to the user. Events per hour reports one event. Great. What time was it? What pressure was needed? Good mask fit shows 19/20. Why? What time did that happen? Etc. The developer for this app stopped short on so many levels it’s not funny. I can’t even export this data to send to my doctor and THAT should be one of its main uses. For a sub $1k machine the app should be more polished. Also, you can turn the Resmes MiniAir off completely. You have to unplug it. Seriously? SMH.SteevilVersion: 1.4.0

Love the Mini-The app is not so goodI specifically bought the Resmed mini for travel as I traveled a lot. Now I find that even though I use it, the information isn’t combined in my Resmed account and, as such, doesn’t count towards use for insurance purposes! Impossible to pair via BluetoothThe last release to the airmini app was a year ago and it’s quite obvious- there are tons of reviews stating that the Bluetooth connectivity doesn’t work properly. Compliance reportI need to travel with a Cpap and show compliance for work. I need to print out a 12 month report for my doctor every year for the next 2 decades. My ResMed 10 does this but not the air mini. My provider can only give me reports through AirView for 90 days. I wish this app functioned like the airsense 10 app functions. Won’t ConnectI have a new Air Mini. It replaced a Dreamstation 2 due to a recall. I like the machine but this app is a terrible, horrible, no good very bad app!! Infuriating disregard for customer satisfactionI have to submit compliance data to the FAA. All the information is viewable on the app so I can print each individual day but there is no option to generate a report like the myAir app. The myAir app will not accommodate the AirMini, another stupid thing. No compliance No resultsTeamed will never fix the airmini Bluetooth connectivity issue because the insurance industry does not require them to. The mini is considered a luxury item so you are typically on your own for the purchase and come what may. Historically, I've gotten better results on the mini than the S10 or S11 and resmed says their algorithms are identical. Don't believe them. A pulse ox test indicate better results on every metric. Personally, if enough users complained to their state authorities for false adverting Mayr the connectivity issue would get resolved. It's just Bluetooth after all. Report feature very deficientI switch a month ago to airmini. I used the myAir apps with my previous airsence since 5 years. In myAir, you have a comparative view of the las 30 days on the 5 measures. And you can have a detailed report from the same screen. Both were useful to have a tool to improve the quality of sleeping ? Do I sleep enough ? Is my mask is well adjust ? Etc. And bring awareness and corrective mesures. The airmini has very minimal report features. You can only view the data one day at a time. You have to go day by day. No comparison is possible. As the resmed customer service answer to my request about it, you have to ask your home health care or medical equipment provider to get the report. It’s kind of surprising that the feature is missing since the code already exist in myAir, that it is easily transferable in airmini and that it’s the same compagny the provide both apps.
