ADSI would give this game a five star rating if it weren’t for one thing, the ads. If you watch an ad, you can get a free life or a game boost, which is great, and I don’t mind seeing an ad because I realize it generates income for the company. But, trying to exit out of these ads has become so aggravating! You watch the ad, then to exit, you press the little x in the top right corner. But, then you are taken to the App Store where you can download the game that you just saw in the ad. So, you exit out of the App Store, then you are taken back to the ad page, where you hit the x again, then a screen comes up where you need to press another x. Then, a timer counting down five seconds comes on the screen. Once the timer is finished, the x is shown again where you attempt to exit out, but now the ad starts playing again, and a little icon comes on where they want you to play the game for thirty seconds. Then you are again taken to another screen that you need to exit out of, and the saga continues. By the time you get back to your game, so much time has been wasted that it really takes all of the enjoyment away, and the game is no longer worth playing, especially if you were planning to play for only a few minutes. Some advice: I think most people are willing to watch an add or two, but when you feel like you are being manipulated into playing the game in the ad, or downloading a game that you don’t want, this game is really not worth playing at all!.Boobookitty624Version: 3.102.0

CAUTION!! Rip OffThis used to be my favorite game until all kinds of mess started taking place in the games. Not only is the new updates rigged but I spent 40 or more coins in the game on levels and topped the leaderboard several times only to have the game close unexpectedly and when I go back, I have zero points and at the bottom of the leaderboard and required to start all over again and my coins are gone! Also other times I play and play just to never have my points updated in the leaderboard which is a waste of buying coins because I’m using coins just to never received the points I earned in play. Then when playing the levels, power ups disappear when you haven’t used them, the screen freezes when get to a high level and the won’t move or gets stuck at the side of the screen out of nowhere. Angry Birds POPHOORAY! Don’t know if anyone else had the same problem, but I’m now able to get in the game, & back to Level 1430 where I left off, with the latest update sent today. What’s going on here?This is my favorite game, so I have no complaints there... But for the last several weeks, whenever I press the Play button, the game goes into this download routine (0 of 86), and I have to wait through up to 5 minutes of some download before I can play. The download will fail the first few times due to my supposedly slow connection and I have to start over until it takes. I don’t know what is being downloaded, but I have to question whether it’s necessary. I should probably drop a star or two until it gets fixed because it’s really annoying, even more than all the stupid ads that most games run between plays. It didn’t use to be this way. Great game but...I love this game, it’s so relaxing. I’ve been playing for a couple of years. I really love the extra 300 level trail play that goes on for a few days and you win prizes every 5 levels. The first was so good, not too hard, I made it through 200 levels and had lots of nice rewards. Second time, not so bad but now, third time, so difficult on some levels I haven’t made it past 14. No fun. I’ve played with good sport and spent money on all 4000 plus levels but please, the extra trail, don’t make it so hard. Added next day, can’t get past 14 with Matilda until I spent some of my last coins. Found a Bug but love the gameI found this annoying bug that I figured would be fixed by now. I’ve been plagued by this issue for at least a year. When I run out of balls, it asks if I wanted to play on if I watch a video... you get 5 per day. Almost anytime I play now, after watching a video once or twice and playing on, when I run out of balls again and it pops up to play on, it gets stuck. The button is expanding and contracting like it would (game isn’t frozen). It just won’t let me click on it. I have to close the game out and restart again. Like the game, but...I get frustrated, but I keep playing. I wish we could earn coins when we win a level. It would be more rewarding and help out a lot. Some other games I play do that. Did not give me my golden featherI will go back to levels that I didn’t get a golden feather. I earned the feather twice in level 167 but it did not give it to me. I use to be able to go back to the levels I didn’t a feather and try again and if I did make enough points to get the feather it would give it to me. Is this a glitch or now a rule that you can’t go back and try to get feathers you didn’t get before? I really like this game but I’m not happy that I can’t go back and try to get feathers that I couldn’t before. A little annoyedThis is the one game I always liked to play but it has changed. I don’t understand why they changed the prizes you get. They use to give you power up and now all they give is those stupid purple gems. I would rather get something I could use. They also give tickets but I don’t even know how or where to use these tickets. When you finished a quest at least you could look forward to getting a power up but not anymore. If I could at least use those gems to get power ups that would be fine too but I can only use them to put costumes on characters. I really don’t care what they are wearing. This game is fun, and I have played it for years. Lately though, I have been so disappointed with some of the bonus games and features. First, I hate the purple gems for costumes. Was enjoying it until recentlyI was enjoying the game. Everytime it opened it up it showed as my user name being signed in, progress was good, once in awhile I’d purchase a pack to help with harder levels. I was up in the 500’s. Then I had to reinstall the game as it stopped loading. And all my progress and coins were lost. I reached out to support with no help. Intense prices!!!😬😑This game isn’t a bad game, I mean it’s a good game from the Angry Birds series but I think lot of people mentioned before that thi was a copy cat off of other bubbler shooters but this seems different to me🙂. This game was great when it got soft-launched as “Stella Pop” but it has gotten a little different. First, why do coins cost so much??? It says you can get 50 coins for 4.99 but that’s just too much! CrashesAfter the last update it won’t open. Besides that the game steals special items from you after it says you earned them. For example it will say you earned a crusher but when you go to play it the crusher isn’t there. Then it will give me tons of blue tickets but since I work nightshift and I sleep during business hours I never get to play the character mini games that the blue tickets go to so they are useless to me. I also can’t earn feathers now because the special characters are only available during business hours (9am-5pm EST time zone). Disappointing updates!I’ve been playing this game since it launched. I’m nearing level 4700, and I’ve spent my fair share of (real) money on coins. When the game first launched, the rewards for hitting daily goals were pretty cool—get a Rainbow Bubble here, get a Crusher there, etc. Then a couple of years ago, instead of regularly rewarding players with boosts, Rovio came up with these new “amazing” rewards—different colored tickets that enable me to play side games I’m not interested in, or purple gems which appear to have no value in the game unless I want to dress my birds up in meaningless themed garb. I stopped playing daily after that, but I would still do the occasional binge—and I still spent money to get coins for the boosters—65 coins for 18 Rainbow Boosters, for instance. Now, in this latest update, Rovio has killed it for me. Rovio has increased the price of the boosters—and reduced the number you can “buy” at any one time. it’s now 32 coins for a maximum of *three* Rainbow Boosters. My coin balance is now at zero. Used To Be A Great GameI used to love this game but all the recent updates have changed that. The most recent has now changed the Pop-a-Pig being the greatest to the worst. It makes no sense and since the change I haven’t received any tickets to play and no matter what time it is it says 20 hours til next ticket. I’ve had at least ten times in the last week that the last two balls would’ve completed the level. But when shooting, the ball color changed, mid flight, to a color that didn’t match. Fun game but algorithms cheats playersThis is a great game but I get so frustrated because of this built-in cheat (common sense tells me there are others): Many many times when I get close to finishing a board, the algorithm will change the color of my reserve ball therefore interrupting my strategy; e.g., I have a blue ball and yellow ball and 3 remaining balls. Using the blue ball first will clear the way for me to use the yellow ball next and allow me to clear the board. I use the blue ball. What should happen then is the yellow ball should move into the first slot and then the “computer’s choice” would fill the reserve slot. More often than not, the reserve ball that moves into the first slot changes from yellow to a color that I cannot use and the reserve ball isn’t yellow either. I’ve been watching this since I first noticed the cheat around lvl 1500. I understand the need for algorithms to allow the creators revenue, but I get really frustrated with this blatant cheat. The issue I have, is my children will also play the game and the video that popped up was for "yarn". The woman in the the ad was half naked (I believe the site/ad is for exchanging "stories"). Issue playing ads for extra chancesI love this game, it helps me concentrate and strategize. Lately, though, as I opt to watch videos to continue on in the game, when I tap “watch video”, it does nothing. Frustrating ...Nonsensical business model that holds you hostage to either buy more "lives" or just tinker with your device's date and time (does Rovio really think no one is doing that?). Game is ostensibly "free," but don't kid yourself- make sure you have your wallet handy when the levels become impossible without the "power ups." GlitchyI love the actual game. It's colorful and fun and challenging. But it glitches often. It will freeze during gameplay. It will crash during the videos to get the bonuses. Customer service is non-existent!I’ve played this game for several years. I rarely write reviews unless I just LOVE something or something happens that’s just wrong and the company won’t make it right. I really like this game, probably not enough to write a review, but it’s fun. However, not terribly long after I started playing the game glitched and I lost quite a few costumes that I had won. I just started over and started building my collection again. Even though I’d never paid real money in games, I did buy 3 season passes so that I would have the costumes. Well, it happened again! The game glitched and I lost everything. My costumes, power ups, and gems (over 10,000). I contacted support because this time I had lost things I bought with real money. They did replace the power ups and gave me 250 coins but that's all they would do. I didn’t let it go and told them it would take 50 to 100 thousand gems to replace what I lost so they gave me another 100 coins. They said they couldn’t replace the costumes and this was all they were going to do. I reiterated that I just wanted what I’d paid for and it didn’t matter at all. Come on! It wouldn’t cost them a cent to replace what I lost. They had no interest in making this right. My recommendation is play this game if you like it, but, under no circumstances would I recommend spending any money. They take your money and then they don’t care. Great game but....Played for over a year, once one of the best bubble games out there, but then one day in 2020 it all changed. And I had lots of good boosts earned to use and the game reset me. I still miss this game, and at one point I was once @ level 3774. But when it for some reason (assume updates or changes to the old layout of this game), I just took a break that day and come back to finish some quests and pop a pig and boom all my hard work was totally gone, it reset me back to level 1. I was so depressed as the fun was wiped-out of my heart and soul. I reinstalled several times after this happened again this year. In the month of March alone, I reinstalled it over 5 times, hoping to get back to level 3774 again, only to realized in defeat that 1) too many changes to the game 2) could not save on Facebook either as it would either mess up the guest bird or pop-a-pig would disappear and lastly and sadly at the end of my frustration all in the month of March too, soon I could not play the game anymore at all = as it now would close itself even when in the middle of playing. I finally surrendered in defeat of it ever working correctly as it once did..... and said good bye and deleted it. Level 5165This has been my favorite game for years but something’s changed and I can’t request any help through the support option. We used to get ‘play on’ options at the end if we watched a video - usually for a day or five times or so then the only option was to purchase coins, which I’m not going to do - but eventually the play on by watching a video would be back. For two months! there have been none of those and the only option is to purchase coins. Support has told me repeatedly to change WiFi, disconnect and reconnect which causes you to lose progress - and the answers seem robotic. I’m afraid this is a ploy to have purchases made and it’s looking like the change is permanent. It’s frustrating to finally get three stars only to not be able to play on and my favorite game for years isn’t my favorite game anymore. I suggest ‘support’ play and get within one ball of completing a level about 50 times so they can understand the frustration. I was told they were ‘working on it’ but I’m not believing that. Not shocking Developer is Getting GreedyFirst annoying thing, when I open app I’m hit with pop-ups (8 today) giving me all the crap that’s going on with the game. Nothing important I will point out. Than the recent change of getting five extra bubbles at the end if you haven’t made it. It was allowed 5 times a day for the extra help. Now it’s only one. Another annoying thing, when all you need is one of three color bubbles, apparently this game will give you an endless supply of the only color you don’t need. The highest was an 18 count and lost because I couldn’t get any one of the three color bubbles I needed. No way to earn coins or special boost any more. It used to be common when this game first came out. The option to use gems to get a three ball option instead of two has went up to a ridiculous amount that it’s not even worth spending gems on. The season and outfit/cosplay is a joke. Over all, the constant changing of things in this game is becoming annoying, I barely come here. When I do come back it’s only to see if they changed it back. Now I’m stuck on a level that’s impossible to pass without a booster of extra coins to buy more bubbles. One more time... and you will be gone away with like your most recent released game. I’ve gone to support questions launched from app, completed all the troubleshooting steps, my Wi-Fi connection is impeccable but I also switched the frequency just for giggles, no luck. I even updated my iOS. I went to support from the App Store and Pop is not even an option to pick from. Was funThis game was pretty fun I first started playing this game some years ago but now it’s nearly impossible to win these levels and that causes you to spend money on it. Once you get to the last few bubbles the colors of the bubbles will change when you swap them. But when you swap it back it goes back to the color you needed. ScammedRovio is cheating. It does not give the player enough bubbles to complete games, forcing you to keep buying more, or buy expensive boosts. And I noticed that the more you buy, the less often the colors you need come up to use, thus forcing you to waste some, and need to buy more again! Another way Rovio cheats: when you pop the glass bubbles that are supposed to give you 3 free bubbles, often you don’t get 3! You might only get 2! And when there are multiple glass bubbles together to give you 6 or 9 additional bubbles, watch carefully and you will find you only get 5 or 8. So, guess what? You have to buy more sooner! Another way they cheat you: not all the color-changed bubbles you hit after shooting a “Matilda” bubble will actually pop. Was my go to game!The pop a pig challenge has NOT worked on my iPhone for at least 4 years (but always a new one coming…). Up around the 7,000s, the game starts to glitch A LOT, and before that, when you switch the final couple bubble colors they all change to something else entirely except for your “new” bubble still the same color 🤦🏻‍♂️(maybe the next update will fix this). Be prepared to be disappointedThis is a fun game and I want to like it more but once you get past a certain point, you can’t catch a break. The rewards are peanuts compared to the cost of boosts and I won’t spend money on mobile games. So, I go through the 5 lives in about 15-20 min and then that’s it for a while. Just about every time I get get a streak and I’m one away from getting a boost, I’m not given a color that could get me there. 9 times out of 10 I miss the boost by one. Too slow to loadThe game itself is enjoyable enough. Lots of levels in the main game as well as a few other games you can play to gain rewards to use in the main game. However nowadays the app takes ages to download new content. You open the app. The home screen loads in, the play button appears, you hit play and then, it says it needs to download levels. Sometimes it takes it it at least two attempts to download whatever it’s downloading. It is slow. You can’t play until it finishes the download. If you have time to wait and you get in, you can play. No chance of a quick game on the fly. To make matters worse, when you go to play one of the mini reward games like pop-a-pig, it also needs a separate download. If you thought the wait for the initial download was long, you haven’t seen anything! The in-app download time is horrendous! You can play and use all your 5 lives in the game and the in-app download will still be downloading. It creeps along. If you leave the app and go elsewhere, the download doesn’t proceed. Making the game too hardThey are making it increasingly hard to get powerups. Just found out I can no longer collect the classics on previously beaten levels. New levels only give 20-30 classics at a time, meaning I’d have to beat 300+ levels in 3 days in order to get all the power ups. (In easier levels, I could get 84 classics per level.) And ever since I paid ACTUAL MONEY for a season pass, I can no longer watch an ad for 5 more bubbles - I have to pay coins or lose the level. I could deal with the bubbles changing color, giving me a color when there are no more on the board, and all the other cheating glitches. But now just plain making the game too hard is unacceptable. Doubtful support will helpI have tried to find an email to ask why the AB Pop keeps freezing on me when I want to watch a video to continue playing. I have to turn off my phone and begin again. Glitches receive no repliesFor weeks now, I consistently get ads playing sounds (usually loudly!), even when my phone is on mute AND “do not disturb.” I have all game sounds silenced at all times, so I think the ads should abide by those settings anyway, but to override the phone’s mute functions too is just inexcusable. I’ve reported this more than once, and I either receive no response for weeks, or they advise me to shut down the game completely and reboot the phone. No change. Surely my phone is not the only one with such issues, but the lack of response is especially bothersome. Updates and Uncontrollable Ads Ruin EnjoymentI don’t play this game as much as I used to because the inability to turn off sound in certain ads is a huge turn off. Your ads shut off music from streaming services, podcasts and any other apps playing in the background. I have to go back into those apps and hit play to get my background music back...that is if I can regain the ability to toggle between apps after certain ads play. It’s like I’m locked in the game. It’s embarrassing when I can’t toggle from the game to my Transit app to show my train pass. Also, what’s the deal with giving people power pops as their first ball and taking away the ability to switch with the second ball?
