IOS15.3 issueI have been using this app for quite a while. It is the closest to real world that I have found in any Speed test app. I really like that I can run longer tests if necessary and I can change settings as needed. Since the 15.3 iOS update the app crashes when the upload test is completing. I can watch the readout and get the info I need but it would be nine if it would stop crashing. Measures Net neutrally throttling?The difference between the speed figures between this and other apps isn’t a flaw, it’s a feature. It can’t be coincidence this app premiered just as FCC relaxed net neutrality. This is a clever way to measure the degree which your ISP throttles the Netflix streaming service. Test your cellular data provider or public WiFi with this app and then with this app and then with another, see how much slower the figure Fast app shows? That’s how some much ISPs are discriminating from one service to another. Giving benefit of the doubt, much of the throttling may just be a way of preventing one user from bogarting the bandwidth on a public WiFi system..Version: 1.1.1
Realistic speed test results for streaming mediaA lot of mobile carriers throttle Netflix and other streaming providers. Do you want to know how much they are throttling you? Run this and compare it to another speed test. You’ll probably find that video is being throttled to only a few megabits. Recommended by my company I.T. TechBefore my company's in-house IT Technician told me about fast[dot]com, I didn't know it was possible to check your own internet "speed(s)" (upload rate/download rate.) I use their website to check my computers' internet speed at work & home and now, I use the iPhone app, which allows me to see my cellular data speed, as well as my WiFi speed; independently from one-another. It's great for confirming public WiFi hotspot speeds, too. The FAST App is somewhat more convenient than opening a browser on my iPhone & going to their website (which does the exact same thing as the app.) A Tech-Support Agent with my cellular provider also recommended using this app..Version: 1.1.1

Needs a little workI hope this gets read by someone in charge. The app is good but needs work. On older iOS devices, iPad 4th gen, it seems to crash after it gets done. Plain and simple: it works.The app is small and not the most attractive or feature rich. That's what makes it so amazing. It's super fast at telling you just what you want to know if your a media consumer. I will say that the fact they are not measuring upload or jitter or ping time they can give a far more accurate download measurement. If your a technical person who needs upload stats or well any other information than a pure download speed measurement than I would look elsewhere..Version: 1.0.4

Works great but...This works better than Speedtest. On Speedtest it says I had 50Mbps download then I Used this and it said I had 200Mbps which I pay for 180Mbps.. But can you add a upload speed too.Version: 1.0.8

Needs optimizingIt's pretty fast and that's great, but it's always around 0.5 Mbps less than Ookla's Speedtest (which is highly accurate). That may not sound like much when testing a 20+ Mbps connection, but it counts for those who have a slower connection..Version: 1.0.8

Works much better for me than other free servicesMy internet peaks around 2.1gbps down, 980mbps up. The Netflix fast.com app is able to reliably max out the bandwidth on my desktop’s wired connection (with 10gbe networking) whereas numerous other services such as Oomla’s speedtest.net often use no more than 1/4 the available bandwidth, leading to wildly inaccurate results.
