Don’t be Discouraged by the One Star Reviews!Let me first explain that anyone who gave a one star review only gave it because of technical glitches, not because something was wrong with the formatting of the app. I’m sorry if those FEW people had glitches, but it’s certainly no reason to put a negative review! Especially when this app is so great! It’s straight forward, comes with a very useful guide to help you through the writing and interviewing process, and it let’s you customize your resume however you’d like - all the way down to how you’d like the order of your headings. AND it’s all free! They rely on the honor system when it comes to paying. It’s not often that we are given the chance to download a free application with no adds and everything unlocked. Simple to use, and worth any additional penny!This is an awesome product. When the original Resume Star came out, I had been working in my career for nearly 10 years. Not all resumes are written the same as they were 10 years ago. So when I was burning out in a career I used to love, I downloaded this app. This app made it easy to go from negotiating with the prospective new employer in one moment, to downloading the app to my phone the next. I sat in my car in the parking lot, and picked the type of Resume I needed, filled in each blank the app instructed. Within minutes I was able to send my resume to any employer of my choosing from the app. Now I am back to spruce up my resume, and hopefully have a chance at stepping up the ladder in my current field..JayshmoVersion: 2.5

So easy to make a professional resumeI had used the old version Resume Star a few years ago and loved it. The previous version is no longer compatible with the latest IOS version so I had to download this version and create a new resume. I kinda thought it was going to be a pain but it only took me about 5 minutes to copy and paste everything from my resume into the app. I love that you can customize the titles for each heading and that you can arrange the sections in any order you want. Absolutely awesomeI am looking for a job and needed to update my resume but was going to various websites that claim to be free resume builders and that is absolutely false, misleading , deceptive information! I typed all my info into 4 different resume building websites only to find payment option at the end . Have to pay to play BS but not with this app ! Resume !I was so stressed and frustrated because I needed to get a resume done for school tomorrow but I did not have access to a computer so I came across this app and was like let me try this. So I downloaded because I’m like there has to be a way for me to do a resume on my iPhone. So it worked I picked my format and it did everything with me step by step. Nice but unusableI really appreciate that the app is truly free, but... The app says that the resumes are formatted as PDF’s, but job sites will never accept the app. They always say “invalid format”. Then I can’t send the resume to my email to forward to anyone. Original Resume Star worked great BEFORE iOS11So the original Resume Star worked GREAT before the iOS 11 update. Now iOS 11 users are directed to download Resume Star 2. Resume Star 2 does nothing, it literally just directs you to iCloud Files. I try to select the resume that I created on the original Resume Star to upload to Resume Star 2 and it does NOTHING.
