Less glitchy, but doesn’t save login info!I was actually happy to see an update to the old glitchy app due to all the issues I’d had with it (crashing, couldn’t add to calendar, slow, wouldn’t load card balance, etc.). Overall the app works much more smoothly and consistently with one big flaw: it doesn’t save your login info! You now have to type in your entire email address and password (I know, first world problems) which is frustrating if I’m going back and forth between the BioLife app and say, my calendar. I had hoped this most recent update fixed this but it didn’t, and it seems I’m not the only one. Please bring back this one redeeming feature of the old app!.Version: 2.0.3

Excellent place, Wonderful and easy to use App.I have been a donor here since december 2023 and i am very happy with everything . The staff are great and they make me feel appreciated and welcome. They are all very good at what they do and there are very distinct rules and policies that must be followed regarding everything involved with the donation process. They usually can get my vein with one good poke and if they have any trouble they get someone else to help them before trying again. The app has been a needed tool and makes the scheduling, rescheduling, checking the debit card, and checking promotions so much easier than using the website. Messages, blogs and everything that is on the website can usual be accessed through the app. i have never had a 3 hour wait like another user claimed to experience. perhaps during the holidays when they get very busy that might happen but for the most part the only 3 hour wait is at the first donation with the physical and perhaps the yearly physical or when there is a referral to the medical staff/nurses for some reason. The app is great and it's better with the changes and remodeling. The center is the best and so much better than the other option here in Tucson, AZ!! I highly recommend this center and if you go tell them Angela Vicari sent you to get an extra $25 with your first 2 donations!!.Version: 3.0.4(343)

THEY UPDATED!!I’ll keep it short and sweet. I’ve been donating for many years and have used the bio app throughout those years. I always thought it was a decent app but could use a lot of improvements. I recently went to reopen the app noticing there is a new thumbnail. To my surprise the entire app has been updated and is refreshed and is so much easier to use. The layout is nice, everything works, easier to understand, and has a really nice overall flow in color scheme. The app is a lot more inviting and engaging. (Not to mention you can actually see your cash and redeem points easier) good job development team! I’m very impressed compared to what it used to look like. ✌🏼.Version: 3.0.2(327)

50% of reviews has nothing to do with the appIf you are going to complain about long wait times at your center, use google or yelp review. If you are going to complain about nobody picking up the phone at your center, use google or yelp review. If you are going to complain some more, don't donate. These reviews are meant for the app, not for human error. The application itself works amazing. I can book my appointment, cancel, or reschedule perfectly fine. It shows me the balance on my loadable debit card. Now they have a points program where you accumulate points every visit or milestone. In turn, you can redeem into cash. Reviews are about the APP, not the process or placeThe reviews on the App Store are for the APP, not about donating or employees. Personally, I have not struggled with the app. There have been glitches on occasion, but when isn’t there glitches with anything electronic or web based? Since day 1 (over 2.5 years ago) I have always been able to make my appts, cancel or reschedule my appts, see my balance on my card, see my history for purchases and donation appts. Any complaints I have are about the process or promotions. I will file those on their website where the actual people who work for Biolife will see them…not the APP developers..Version: 2.1.7

Bug with appointment schedulingThis app has been very easy to use except for the fact that when you get deferred for a day the people at the center tell you that you can reschedule and come back the next day, unfortunately I keep getting the same message that I “cannot donate more than two times in seven days” even though I didn’t already donate due to being deferred. The issue seems to be the same on the website and the worker at the center told me to wait a few hours but it’s been 5 hours and I’m still unable to reschedule my appointment. Please fix this issue so we can actually schedule more appointments and donate plasma! Thank you!.Version: 2.1.7

CredentialsFirst off, reading the reviews I don’t see a problem with the app, pretty straightforward imo. However, my concern is the staff that does the actual injections. How qualified are they? Registered nurses? Received any medical training? Or just trained employees with no experience? I’m curious because sometimes the needle hurts more than usual going in. But this last visit not only hurt going in but was uncomfortable during the entire process as well as very painful removing the needle! My wife noticed a blood saturated gauze blood stains on my arm about 2 inches from injection area. Why is that? I sent that question and awaiting a response. Other than that, all is well. App is frustratingYou can schedule days weeks out but can not see your upcoming appointments. Only the very next one. If I want to change my 2nd appointment for the week I have to cancel my 1st listed one in order to see my 2nd one and change it then go back and reschedule my 1st one which is usually taken by then. Also would like to see what’s Ava on other days even if I’m already scheduled so that I know if canceling to change my time is worth it but it won’t show availability. It just says I’m already scheduled that day or can not schedule bc I’m scheduled for 2 days already. Would be Vince to see what’s available and be able to change if needed..Version: 2.1.5

Cynthia L.MayI really like going to Bio Plasma. Everyone is always nice and helpful. People who work there are so friendly. You can tell they really care about you. They are also careful to keep Everything clean in the area. The whole place is always clean too. If there is ever a problem it is always addressed right away to correct it. I have been going here for a couple of months and have never had any problems. When I first started going to Bio Plasma I joked with them about giving me a T-Shirt and one of the people who work there went and got me one!!( Purple is my favorite color) I really believe Bio-Plasma is a great place to give plasma and would be a great place to work. Log in and Facial RecognitionI’ve been donating plasma for some time. My only frustration is scheduling plasma appointments. You have to log in using your email address and password EACH TIME you want to schedule an appointment. With the latest Biolife app update you were supposed to be able to set up facial recognition which would make it so much easier to schedule appointments. I’ve logged into the Biolife app but can’t figure out the facial recognition option in the app. Am I missing something? Fixing this problem would make so many donors that much happier. App is Great, Company GreatHad nothing but positive experience in picking up some extra cash donating plasma. They have been awesome. First donation didn’t eat before hand, only ended up giving half what would normally be required before getting sweaty. I barely noticed, they did. Came over, stopped early, checked everything out, still paid fully, was shocked. Next time back more hydrated and ate and had no problems since. Only on 5th donation. I think the app and BioLife are just fine.It seems all the reviews left recently are quite negative. I’m new to BioLife with my third donation coming this week and so far have had nothing but good experiences here in Pensacola Florida. I think if you are reading these reviews and deciding if you should work with BioLife, take what you read with a grain of salt. It was clear to me that most donors were doing so for the money (no problem with that) and are probably in a tough spot financially, leading to them leaving reviews through a jaded lens. BioLife clearly states the health requirements to donate so anyone complaining about their veins or something else going on with them that has disallowed them to be a donor, well that’s just a tough hand they have been dealt. Long wait timesThe last few times I’ve donated, it’s taken 3-4 hours. Not enough staff to accommodate the amount of appointments they provide. It’s really discouraging and I have stopped going. Tried to switch to a different location that is local but was told I could not do that. I love to donate and feel like I’m putting some good back into the universe but it’s hard to find time if it’s going to take 3-4 hours each trip. Between working two jobs and juggling two kids’ school and activities, I don’t have the freedom to wait hours..Version: 3.0.4(343)

Pretty good, but needs some tweaksThe app is great to schedule, check your account balance, or get some info. I do have trouble sometimes when opening the app, it just crashes. I have to delete and reinstall the app when that happens and it is frustrating. It happens about twice a week and I can’t find a pattern as to what triggers it. Also, for reward redemption, the app has to redirect you to the website, which is an inconvenience, but not a huge deal. Overall a very helpful and useful app!.Version: 3.0.4(343)

Customer serviceMy son donated September 23 only not to receive the bonus for his sixth donation then upon ask why not he was told by a manager that the fliers had expired when pointed out to her to show where on the fliers that it had expired she began to get loud on the phone so I proceeded to ask the young lady what was her name so I knew whom I spoke too so am aware of what we spoke about and her response was no in a unprofessional manner !!why do these companies don’t properly trained there individual in how to deal with the general public am so upset that I told my so we will not return there anymore.Version: 2.1.8
