I mean it’s pretty goodI’ve had issues in the past with this app, when the whole Facebook Meta and Oculus merge happened, my whole headset didn’t work. I would go to the home screen and it would show that I had almost half of the system storage full because of “Unknown source.” Obviously the apps that I had bought and previously installed, but they were nowhere to be found. I tried going to the app, but it had signed me out. When I signed back into my account, the app would freeze and then crash. It took me months to figure out I had to create a new account, and lose the $100+ dollars worth of games so that I could buy and play them again. It was a problem that most people had, and yes, I was just stupid and didn’t take the time to google why this had happened, but what frustrated me the most is that I wasn’t notified, I wasn’t told that this merge and user data reset was happening. The app is okay now but casting to it gives lag and awful graphics. When I record myself playing a game with the built-in microphone, the audio is about one second delayed, which annoys me, and cannot be changed using video editing software. I don’t use it a lot, I just check the store and notifications via my headset, which works just fine for me. What I like about it the most is that once you use it to set up your Oculus headset, you don’t really need it. The games and V.R. things function just as fine without it, the only thing you really need it for is after you’ve synced a video from your headset to the app. Over all, 4 stars..Terdleface005Version: 159.0

What happened suddenly to all my avatar backgrounds and the change background feature!!!???I just today opened the Meta Horizon app on my phone to change my avatar’s background, and not only was it completely gone, but I didn’t find a way to access it or the change background feature anywhere on the app! It’s bad enough that for no good reason you made it so we can’t create new clothes for our avatars on Instagram anymore, and all we ever have had in the way of jewelry is earrings and no other jewelry, e. g rings, it’s bad enough that the accessories other than hats and headbands are gone, e. g we only can choose solid colors for our headgear, and not multicolored designs and no patterns, and things like flowers for our avatar’s hair never have existed, but the change background feature has not even existed for very long at all, now it’s completely gone! Long story as short as possible, please take every single issue that I have mentioned in this review, including the change background feature, and bring it back, and add all the other things I mentioned above, making the avatar feature in general, better than ever! Awesome but...So, I have to say, the Oculus is great. I have an Oculus Quest and it works perfectly, the games are awesome. I love it all! But a couple days ago, there was this strange glitch that happened. So, basically, on that day, I was playing Beat Saber like normal and at that time my Guardian Boundary was a bit tight so I kept hitting it a lot but it was normal. But then, in the middle of a Beat Saber song, this big black glitch-y type thing appeared almost covering my whole screen. I was so confused so I paused the game. It sent me back to the home page. The home page was normal. I was trying to see what that glitch was and I’m like “What the heck?” So then, I decide to go back in Beat Saber. It was showing the title, it went black to finish the loading as always, but the black screen was going on for a longer time than usual so I decided to quit Beat Saber before anything else happened so I thought “I’m gonna just give Beat Saber a break.” So then I go into Vacation Simulator. It was loading like normal but then when I went to the Vacation Simulator lobby the black glitch thing was there again so I paused the game to look at it again. I took off my headset to see if the glitch thing was caused if my headset was broken but it wasn’t. I checked my controllers too. Just for your further research, the glitch first started in the Beat Saber song called Rum N’ Bass by Boom Kitty. I don’t know if it’s just a glitch in the system or it was because my Guardian Boundary was small. Can you please try and fix it? The glitch was a little scary and I don’t want it to happen again. It’s… okDon’t get me wrong, I love my oculus quest 2 and I enjoy playing on it. Though, I would like more games that support VR. I have heard of other games that support it and I would like to play them on my oculus. Also, I feel like it’s not worth it because we have to pay $299 or even $399 (at Costco for extra storage and the case) for it and we have to end up spending more money on games because most of the good games are payed for. Though, it’s nice that there are sales every once in a while. Personally, I haven’t gotten any games because the good ones are $30. I am also thinking about returning mine because it just doesn’t feel worth it. I’m a student and an athlete. I just cannot find time to use this and if I do, I get bored quickly because of how boring the free games are. My little siblings also would like a free game on there called roblox. So I’d like to see those come for my siblings. If you are a busy person (athlete, student, teacher, etc.) I wouldn’t suggest getting this. Another complaint I have is that I will use it for only 15 minutes and my eyes will start to hurt. I’ve never had problems with my eyes even with my phone until I got this so I don’t know. Also, games that I could get for $5 or less on my phone are way more on the oculus. This is confusing because games like fnaf are only like $3 and are 10x that on the oculus store. I get that it’s very so it’s gonna be a bit more for the experience but that much? That’s too much! Pretty decent app, but just one minor thing.The app itself is actually pretty fine, PERSONALLY. (I am a very tech-efficient person so little problems on my side.) But, there’s one thing that bugs me so much that its worth mentioning: how the app handles setting up profile pictures. The problem is that instead of using the photo app, which can let you go through albums of photos (ex. Favorites or a custom album), the app uses its own photo book that lacks this feature. Additionally, I think not using the base photo app on the phone lowers the quality of the profile pictures to where lighting gets messed up and slightly more pixelated. (Or this part may be just due to the app itself.) I use the iPhone version of this app so I have no idea if this specific to this version of the app. Other than that, the app itself is fine..MothynVersion: 193.0

Great app for Quest ownersI e seen many 1 star reviews that make no sense. They are rating the app based on their experience with their headsets. If I were to review the Oculus Quest it would definitely get 4.5 stars. The app however gets a full five stars as it does so much cool stuff. My favorite thing is being able to check my battery while charging my headset. Also being able to see if I need new batteries for my controllers is awesome. I know those data points are on the Quest Menu Bar but when your charging you may not have the Quest available to check so you can use the app. I love that I can buy and install games directly to my headsets from the app too. There are just so many cool things this app allows you to do. I’ve seen lots of tech and I’m not easily impressed by tech nowadays however the Oculus Quest and this companion app have highly impressed me. I haven’t been wowed like this by tech since I first wrote a program in basic back on a TRS-80 (Trash 80 for those who remember them) in the mid 80’s(I’m old I know). Lots Of Terror For Buying Games (kids)There is LOTS of things that I hate about the app but a little about the quest 3. One thing, (that I really want you to know) WHY CANT YOUR CHILD HAVE DEVELOPER MODE FOR PLAYING GAMES?! LIKE WE MADE ONE! Best VR App everI love this app, the oculus quest 2 was released so recently and we got one on the 24th of October 2020, I love this app and what games have to offer, but I think it’s missing one game that I really want to play on VR, and that is Island 359, yeah sure it’s on the app but only on the Oculus Rift and Rift S, and that’s a Headset that you need a pc for. I very much wish Island 359 was available for purchase on Oculus Quest and Oculus Quest 2, other than that it was amazing, I remember downloading the app way before and found out you need a Facebook account to get into the app, then I uninstalled the app and when my sister got the headset, she had installed the app and I forgot about the matter. After some time, I decided to download the Oculus app once again and at that time I didn’t realize that I had installed the app before so it was reinstallable at the time. Oculus is great, Social tab on app won’t workI love my Oculus, however the social tab on my app on my iPhone will never load so I cannot see friends or chat messages….even when it tells me there is a notification. There is the same error every time that says “Unable to load. Please try again later”. This has been going on for weeks, so I decided to contact oculus support. After 30 min of searching I realized that they have no phone support number, so I resorted to the chat feature. Clearly a chat feature doesn’t have as many capabilities as phone support so after another 30 minutes, I was told they have no clue what is wrong with my app and were sending it to be further investigated….and that I would hear back by email (not phone of course) in 3-5 days. I’m disappointed in the lack of support available for devices that cost $400 a piece and their associated app. App support needs to be available, as the techs seem to only know how to support the devise, not the associated software..Has too many photosVersion: 145.0

Needs a bit more workA couple of updates ago the iPad UI got really big, you can only see 2-3 items without scrolling. That’s just way to big for 12,9” devices. The top banners are cut in half so you can’t see what they are. When doing a search on the iPad (on the 12.9 pro and prolly the 10.5” pro as well), nothing shows up. You have to tap the search field again, then a small part of the screen shows a cut off/squished box with the results. Would like to see ability to update apps/games (on Quest 2) from the app. Would like to see available Quest 2 storage in the app. Would like to be able to uninstall apps/games from the app. Some other things, but most of all the iPad UI needs an overhaul. Even simple things like swiping left/right between game images, instead of having to open and close each image (this part of the app have a tendency to bug out, forcing you to kill/restart the app). Pretty good but also sorta weird.It’s a good app and it’s cool how you’re able to cast things from the VR headset, but the app itself is just unconditionally laggy, and I’m not the only one with this problem because it’s not my phone. When I move to different locations, such as settings to home or whatever, it buffs and consistently pops up the “enable Bluetooth” screen over and over again each time I attempt to do something. For some reason there’s a bug that causes the app to always display 9 notifications, and I’ve searched the entire application, it’s settings, marked news as read, double checked the news, delete and reinstall the app, but they wouldn’t go away. Best VR app everYou see other reviews saying it's So bad it's not! I got a VR for Christmas and we have been using this app and it's GREAT! You can watch what your VR is doing when your on it. And you can buy games on the app. And you can buy games in packs for less money it's GREAT! Also one time I was playing a game on my VR and my dad said I had to get onto a different game so we could play together and I didn't get off so he went on the app and pressed the game we wanted to play together and pressed start streaming or something like that and my Vr can go to that game. This actually did not happen but that's something the app can do! This app is so good and helpful! And there's no problems with this app! I highly recommend this app if you have a VR! Lacks Features And Has MAJOR AnnoyancesFor a socially focused platform, you’re not able to share links to games in any form, making it difficult to get friends into games you may think they like. App is very buggy on iPhone 14 ProMy review is strictly for the app, not my experiences with my Quest 2 or my opinion about the Facebook corporation. Being able to cast from my headset to my phone is awesome and works most of the time. My problems lie with the other functionalities of the app. Why on the media gallery can’t I delete unwanted videos or photos? When I click on the media there is a garbage can icon but nothing happens when I press on it (bug?). Another issue, I’m on my 3rd headset (had problems with the other 2) but there’s no place in the app to remove those old devices in my Meta account so all 3 are always on the cast screen with no way to differentiate the active one. Also, while navigating through the apps screens, I often find that there aren’t any back button (more bugs?) so I’m constantly hard closing the app just to get back to the Home Screen. Little bit buggy but also pretty goodThe oculus app is sometimes laggy and it’s so laggy that I think my app is at an older version, but it’s just the app, the app also has problems with casting, but it’s very rare. I’ve only got it three times after using it for two years but it’s still pretty annoying and sometimes the pictures that I take or videos don’t save, but it’s still sort of good. You have access to a lot of different things you can do. No push notifications?I got the app to see what it is and how it works. From what I've seen, it's very polished. Everything seems to be working. So why has the app not given me an alert to either allow or block push notifications? The notifications themselves inside the app work how they're supposed to, but I don't get notified outside of the app. Everything is checked to ON for the Mobile switch for each and every type of notifications in the appropriate settings in the app. I shouldn't have to be paranoid and check the app every few seconds to see what my friends are texting all because the app didn't initially tell me to allow notifications. The setting doesn't even exist in iPhone settings, it's not available. I reinstalled the app too, but came fruitless. I am completely softlocked from this simple bug. This NEEDS to be fixed. Love the Quest 2.. . But. ..As much as I love the Oculus Quest 2 there are a lot of glitches not only on the headset, but the app as well. I’ve been using my quest 2 for the past year and a half, some of the glitches that have raised concern are as follows; I haven’t been able to cast to my smartTV all year, which hinders gameplay when company is over. The most recent update has helped a little with the glitches but not by much. My ability to cast to my smart TV is a huge thing for me as I love entertaining and playing my Oculus with friends. Some of the other glitches arise in the different games that I play or even while chilling in the lobby in VR. The Meta Quest app is also very glitchy. Signing in issue and wanting help for itAfter having my vr for over a year now I’ve been experiencing some issue. My phone has this thing that is some what deletes apps for more space, the apps that I don’t use much. And Oculus was one of them. I only use it for pairing and stuff. After I deleted it and needed to reconnect my new controllers. I had to sign in. I would click continue with Facebook and then it would tell me to sign into it and I did my Facebook account it tells me that I have an existing Oculus account. Then it tells me to merge them together. To confirm the merge you would have to put your password. And I did but then it says that it’s already merged and have to log in with Facebook. If I do that it keeps repeating the same thing over and over the amount of times I try. Till this day I’m playing with broken controllers. Btw this happens on every platform I try to log in with. App is pretty decentI think the app is well thought out, definitely makes it easier navigating around the Oculus. One issue that I am having is that I will sync videos from my oculus to my phone (which by the way I have to do atleast 15 times before it actually goes through) and when it does go through, a symbol of a wifi bar and exclamation mark in the middle show up. I can view the information of the video just not the video. I’m glad when I don’t have to use itAs others have said, casting is nice when it works as intended but many other bugs are annoying to deal with. I’ve removed my old quest 2 after I factory reset it and shut it down and it keeps asking me to pair it even though it can’t locate it every time I do anything in the app now. The quest 3 that I paired disappeared and after speaking with support I had to uninstall and reinstall the app the get it back. Videos of apps and games can’t be made full screen or they just grow cutting off the sides of the content and you can’t rotate your phone. You can’t uninstall apps from it. The account settings, unpairing or deleting devices does not seem to exist. It still shows my Oculus Go that I haven’t used in years from time to time until I click on it so that it can tell me that it can’t be found and remove it until the next random time it decides to pop it back up. This is not really an app I expect from Metas engineering but my guess is that it’s extremely low priority so better to not keep our hopes up. The sound from the casting doesn’t stop if you minimize the app, not sure what benefit this is trying to provide. Phone notifications worked for about 5 minutes on my quest 2 once but never again even on my quest 3. The app constantly tells me that it can’t find my headset that is just a few feet in front of me but when I click into it, all of the current details are present. The account settings lead you to a separate web view with very limited functionality and more frustration than it is worth..ImposterSyndromVersion: 255.0

They can take away/steal any games you purchase.The Oculus itself is great, easy to set up and pair as long as you don’t have to use Facebook because you can lose all the games you have already purchased. My Facebook account was hacked in the middle of the night, in the morning I had an e-mail asking if I changed my password indicating it looked suspicious, Facebook did not wait for confirmation or a reply so apparently allowed this suspicious activity to occur from Mew York when I live in Nebraska and with my almost 20 year facebook history, they can tell I have never been near New York. The next e-mails I received from Facebook indicated the content posted immediately after the suspicious password change was inappropriate and my account was suspended/inactive. My Oculus runs through Facebook which was also suspended due to the suspicious login. Customer supposed at Oculus indicated there is nothing they can do and it has to be resolved through Facebook. There is no live chat or phone number to contact Facebook. I can request a review of my account but if the content posted violated Facebook policy, it doesn’t matter that I was hacked and did not post it. I had purchased About $200 worth of games that Oculus/Facebook are able to take away at any time without warning or any way to get them back. I don’t know any other company that can take away $200 worth of products you purchased and it be legal. Severely agitated about this process. The best reasons to use this are all broken.The app is presented to the user in a useful and intuitive way, but lacks execution. Exhibit A; the recently added Mixed Reality Camera (a feature which made me immediately re-download the app). For those who don’t know, this gives the user the capability to record yourself in your surroundings in VR, with augmented-reality capable phones (iPhone 7 Plus and up)*. This feature just doesn’t work. The app in the headset tells me to use the phone and the phone just casts, doesn’t offer anything else where everything should be. Exhibit B; the phone notifications. This feature works maybe 60% of the time and refuses to let me unpair the headset to the phone via Bluetooth when I need to repair it (I CANT DELETE THE HEADSET FROM MY BLUETOOTH), which I need to repair the system if the notification flow to the headset stops. This is a pity as this capability was added a while ago and still hasn’t really been patched. At this point this app just gives your headset a bunch of half-baked capabilities that only work half of the time. Wouldn’t suggest use after you’ve gotten past initial setup of headset. *in the instructions it says iPhone X and up, but the supposed capability is aligned with the 7 Plus, and has been seen in other instances working as well as the new phones. Doesn’t Cast Majority of the timeWe downloaded the app primarily to cast. It worked once for just few mins. Yes both devices are on the same WiFi , we only have WiFi service at home and have full bars…we tried the back up option of Bluetooth both devices pair to only continuously get the error message on the app when trying to actually cast the the headset. We need to cast to help our child understand what to select etc especially the boundaries..not to mention he really wants us to watch him play. So far the meta quest 3 has been a headache. The games are not sharing between profiles even though that has been turned on in setting..so we had to download each game to the other profile..and the app for WiFi casting, Bluetooth casting etc are worthless so far. VR is great, app is TRASH.I just got a Meta Quest from my uncle for Christmas. And the VR is really good, you can play cool games on there and there’s even a mixed reality game that’s really fun, but I got a notification saying “provide your account details by January 11th or your account will be suspended/deleted”. Oculus Quest 3 Review - Frustrating Experience Due to Payment IssuesI recently bought the Oculus Quest 3 and, as excited as I was to dive into the VR world, my experience has been incredibly frustrating due to payment issues. Right from the start, I encountered problems trying to purchase any games or content. Every time I attempt to buy something, I get an error message saying “Feature not available,” which has made the entire experience feel like a waste. I tried purchasing a $100 gift card to bypass the payment issues, but even that hasn’t helped. My wallet balance is still unusable, and I’m unable to make any purchases despite having funds available. It's really disappointing, especially after spending so much money on the headset itself. This app is the Only way to set up an oculus?This app is so glitchy, oculus says set up on app, app says connect to WiFi, but when I do it asks me to do it again. I can’t complete setup cause when I get to the last step which is 5 safety notices, there is no button to continue. I have never seen the Home Screen of my oculus, I used the launch from phone button to play for three minutes, then reset the oculus and after setting it up again it still got stuck, and now all I can do is try reinstalling the app. Please meta, let there be a setup button in the oculus! Love VR, hate this appThis has got to be one of the most excruciatingly frustrating apps I have ever worked with. The casting is extremely laggy, even on my brand new iPhone 12. If I got a dollar for every pixel in the casting video i’d have 2 cents. Not to mention it runs at about 5 fps. At one point, my casting stopped working completely. The entire screen would freeze and I couldn’t even close out of it. I tried rebooting my phone and VR and working with multiple of the provided troubleshooting methods featured on the Oculus website. Nothing worked. Eventually had to delete the app and go through the horridly long and painful login process all over again. A few times it will completely log me off of the headset for no apparent reason, and as a regular VR player this is extremely annoying since the account is under my dad’s facebook, and I don’t have his log in. Useful but overall terrible and buggyBoth the app and the VR headsets get worse with each update. The interface is extremely buggy and simple features have gone from easily accessible to impossible to find. The most infuriating appAnytime I attempt to try to sync up to my quest with the app it almost always fails, there's so many settings that have been removed with radio silence as to why. I've spent the past 30 minutes trying to find how to disable the massive record button when casting to the phone. There used to be something in the settings to remove it but it seems to be completely removed and is nowhere to be found. I've had to reinstall this app and reset my quest numerous times because the app decides to break and doesn't connect to my quest regardless of what I do. Worst support team and app I’ve ever encountered.My son received an oculus for his birthday last week. The app has me stuck in a login loop. My husband is having the same problem on his phone. Guess what the support team does? They send you an email at midnight every one or two days telling you they’re trying to help you. No customer support at all Headset is completely brickedI was using my oculus quest 2 headset for around 6 months when out of no where my facebook account, which I created for the sole purpose of using the headset was banned. I tried to get this fixed, but thats when I realized there is literally no way to access customer support. This app has the WORST interfaceUsing the meta horizon app has been the worst experience so far. When we create clothes, it should automatically apply the price so that when we import the clothes into the store, the prices are already set to keep it simple. There should be more restrictions in Horizon World where there are children because many adults are consistently using profanity around them and making sexual conversations. There should be a system that flags any adults making sexual connotations. Bullying should be taken seriously. Reviews have to be fakeThere is no way any of these reviews are real. This is the most inconsistent and terrible UI Design, that I have EVER encountered. As someone who has designed UI for many web apps, mobile apps, websites and the like, this is by far one of the worst. The most useless app on the planetWent to get on one day and it had randomly logged me off. Considering that it was a year after I created the account and I don’t always write my passwords down (mainly because it’s 99% of the time the same password) so I didn’t think anything would go wrong. I entered my typical password and it didn’t work. I created my account with Facebook, and, amid trying to log in with that, it said my password had failed too. So, like anyone in my situation would do, I went to create a new password. IT TOOK ME BACK TO FACEBOOK. Iphone app brokenSo the app on iPhone is also awful. I had to factory reset my oculus and logout of my app (part of a much longer ordeal that kept me interacting with meta tech support for 6hours total), only to find out that the app on my phone won’t let me login. It’s hard to explain here and I’m working with Apple support now hoping they can do some magic to fully wipe it from my phone. I can login online to meta on my computer, on the meta app on my daughter’s phone using my credentials….but not the app on my phone. Lost ability to connect to phone/gamesI’ve been playing VR for the last 4 years and have NEVER had this problem before. On a Wednesday I was playing games totally fine and everything was going smoothly, then on Thursday I go to play some more games when all the sudden I couldn’t log into ANY multiplayer games at all. The internet connection was fine but I couldn’t connect to any multiplayer servers on any multiplayer game. I can’t use my headsetSo a while back I accidentally added a password onto my headset that I ended up forgetting, I pressed on the forgot password in the vr headset and it told me to use the oculus app to fix it. I tried countless times to pair the app to my headset like it says but everytime the headset is off, on the app it shows all the settings I need but the headset needs to be on. But whenever I turn the headset on all those in app settings that I need disappear, so I thought there was a problem with the app because I can’t do anything without the app. So I deleted the app and downloaded it again to see if that would fix it, but I had the same problem I had a few years ago. Genuinely useless as a company and a platformI tried to log into my old Oculus Quest after a couple of years and was completely unable to use it. Very BuggyI’ve never left a review for an app before.. but I felt the need to on this one. I hardly ever use this app specifically since I just use the app on my pc, HOWEVER there is not even a place to leave a review for that app which showcases the lack of responsibility meta has for many of their products. Over the last year I’ve owned a quest 3, I have spent at last 10 hours of my time resolving software and hardware issues with my headset. The developers keep releasing new mandated updates without the ability to roll back to older versions. On 3 different occasions these new versions have rendered my headset unusable when trying to link it to my pc. Health and Safety VideoSo I hadn’t used my Oculus Go in awhile and decided to use it. I logged in to see that my old profile was gone and I couldn’t see anything that had previously been on my Home Screen…I couldn’t even see the Home Screen. Does not work on ANYTHINGMy son couldn’t get his app to work on his phone so he asked me to put it on mine. He kept having to restart his phone and uninstall the app and reinstall it because he would open the app and get a black screen. He eventually got his to work. Always bugsBetween bugs and poorly documented quirks, this can be so aggravating. What to fix (Aug 2020): social icon is a black hole. Doesn’t work and have to force close app. Pairing is super weird sometimes. This app tells you to go to Bluetooth settings, enable and pair. That may not be correct. Check the oculus app settings (hard to find) and enable every thing. There are too many ways this fails, so better documentation and trouble shooting would make sense. The headset has its own issues I could leave out such as crashing/freezing while in the store! It updated without me knowing, remained in loading (ellipsis) forever. Then I couldn’t see the controllers as it went into a new tutorial of old features I couldn’t skip. Please focus on stability before adding features. I’m a sr sw architect. Not helpfulI used the oculus air link for a while before it stopped working and just kept showing me the three white dots for loading, I’ve tried a majority of steps to fix the issue but none of them worked, and when I watched the video on how to set it up, it said that the basic requirements didn’t require ethernet (which was one that my oculus said was recommended) and I may have to restart my entire oculus, fix your products Meta. Needs UpdatingWhile the app works, it’s not without issues. I’m using an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the app is poorly designed from a UX standpoint. The margins are too thin on the top and bottom and it seems like the developers just ignored Apple’s “safe area” suggestions. It’s difficult to tap on the search icon because it overlaps the network/battery icon in the upper right corner (same for the back button when it appears on the upper left). Once you do get the search bar opened, it’s under the notch and takes several taps in random spots to open the keyboard. The icons at the bottom of the screen are also under the home indicator. Aside from those issues, videos rarely load. I know it’s not my network, every other app works fine and I’ve tried on various different networks. Half the time the screen will just turn black and you have to close the app and reopen it. If these issues are resolved, I’ll be sure to update my review. Incredibly UnintuitiveI’ll start with this - functionally, the app can do everything you’d hope it can do. You can purchase games for your headset, cast from your headset to your phone, manage your profile and library, etc. That being said, navigating the app is ridiculous. I’ve been in this ecosystem since the Quest 1, and over time they keep making the phone app more and more confusing. Things like your Library and the Store are found in small menus or tiny buttons. Meanwhile, Meta Horizons Worlds and even mobile experiences dominate the home page. You feel like you’re digging through a haystack just to find the most basic functions. It took me five minutes to even figure out how to change my profile picture. Stop trying to turn this app into some sort of Roblox-like mobile game. ErrorMy Quest 2 arrived and when setting it up initially it requires it to be linked to the Oculus mobile app and to log into facebook. The problem is that when I log in using Facebook I receive an error message telling me that my account has been merged and that I need to go back and log into the app using Facebook...which is what I’m trying to do. Can’t enable developer modeThis is hands-down the worst app I have ever used in my life. I spent hours upon hours trying to get my phone to pair with the Meta Quest 2 so that I could enable developer mode (which is also a completely unnecessary use for an app - the phone is not involved in development in any way, and the headset itself has its own settings menu). Finally, after countless reboots and reinstalls I was at last able to get the phone and the headset to pair. Relieved, I went to the headset settings on the phone, and then developer mode. I then had to set up two-factor authentication and create an organization. This was a pain but didn’t take as long to get set up. At last, I went to the developer mode settings TO FIND THE TOGGLE GREYED OUT. Yes, you read that right. After more than a day of fighting with this, I finally get to the toggle I need and it’s greyed out. There is no explanation, no troubleshooting, nothing. Terrible customer serviceMy husband reached out to customer service with an issue we were having with something we purchased, but didn’t receive. After they passed us off to about seven or eight people and we sent them everything they asked for (sometimes twice) then gave us another runaround telling us we needed to contact the developer directly. App has too many bugs, I can’t click continue and can’t do anything without a credit card.I am trying to send meta money to my brother via the app and every time I enter the number I want to send and go to press continue, I am unable to because the app is so bugged that I can’t physically click the continue button.
