Intermountain Healthcare My Chat App Review

I was able to find everything easily using the app. I see my primary care doctor in the list of providers in the menu list under my chart offer login in. But when I go to send a message to my Primary Care doctor he doesn’t appear in the list of providers. Also when I try to link OptumCare West it tells me could not link account. Also when I try and find my past appointments with my Primary Care doctor there are no past appointments listed. What is up with this app. Hope my Review helps someone. Thanks!

90% amazing and fast working access. With a few hiccups for my local IH hospital.

Let me first just express how grateful I am to my chart in epic for their ability to access so quick and readily. Being able to look for important documentation as well. Able to connect with important direct care staff is important. The app is not best explained in the simplest terms that it could be. I feel like Intermountain Health and MyChart could use someone such as myself to help teach and streamline the app to its potential. Only by my long use of this app while being hospitalized at an Intermountain Health facility. Show me all of the abilities of this app. The only downfall is that local Intermountain Health staff are not given a heads up on all of the potential uses of this amazing app.

Saved my my life

Due to the quick and attentive staff at Intermountian Health my life was spared. Thought I had bruised ribs turned out I had 3 broken ribs and a punctured long. By the the time I was able to get off the road and return to Billings it had developed into pneumonia and septic arthritis which got into my blood stream. That is where the staff took over to get to work on irrigating all areas the sepsis had traveled. I actually flatlined on a few occasions and ended up on the ventilator. I ended up with 4 operations, several tubes in my chest and was intubated on 4 occasions while they repaired my lungs. I’m home now and am looking at a few months of rehab but will always be eternally grateful to the staff at Intermountian.

Outstanding Team

My family and I have been with Dr. Richmond-Coca for about 15 years now. We used to live in Brighton but relocated to Milliken in 2009- we looked around for PCP and gave up- we were unable to find a quality Dr that understood us and really seemed to care. The level of care, compassion and understanding provided to us by Dr. Coca and her staff is unmatched to this day. So much has changed over the years- we all get older but it’s a wonderful thing to have the same PCP through the ups and downs. I would/will recommend her to anyone I know that’s looking for a great Dr! Thanks for all that you do to keep us well- body, mind and general wellness! Sincerely, James, Anita and TJ Everest

Paola LS

When my dad passed away I experienced a lot of good and bad in hospitals. It was a very difficult time, especially when I encountered people who shouldn’t be in healthcare. Working in the medical field isn’t easy, we need people who genuinely care. Paola completely changed that for me, I wish I had someone like her to help me with my dad’ passing. She took the time to listen, care and advocate for me. She was non judgmental and extremely kind. From the bottom of my heart I want to say thank you to Paola for helping me through this process. You are one of a kind! Kind regards, Cindy Guardado

Gallbladder surgery

It was my first surgery ever, so I was understandably nervous and didn’t know what to expect. The doctor had an emergency surgery that morning and was running behind schedule, but the staff kept me informed and comfortable throughout the process.[cms] RN Jordyn was especially kind and made sure we knew what was happening every step of the way. Her smile made a lasting impression, and nurses Kariee and Emily were also very kind and checked in often to make sure I was doing okay.[cms] I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff, including Dr. Fisher and Dr. Jones.

Great App, Great Hospital System

Intermountain Health’s Good Samaritan Hospital saved my life, so I am obviously thankful for them. Amazing people! The app, though truly is amazing. While in the hospital or in ER, I received my test results (bloodwork, scans, ecg) in the app at the same time the doctors and nurses received them. I knew what was going on every step of the way, and was prepared to ask informed questions. It’s also terrific to have access to my historical records in their system. They make it easy to compare current results with past results. Honestly - couldn’t be better!

Problems

Unfortunately the system has a few things that are still to be worked out and they need to be fixed before someone is hurt due to the system issues. First thing is that there is no ability to communicate the need to get a prescription refilled other than the pharmacy with no direct contact between patient and physician office second is the fact that the message function is not always the best way to communicate dosage and filling on medication that is an eye dropper other medication that is administered by drops.

Bridanne69Version: 11.5.1
Communicate with doctor so easy!

This app lets me communicate with my pcp and is so easy. You can make appointments and get refills so much easier than going through the phone system and can be done at any time that you have a question before you forget about it. My doctor messages back rather quickly but I don’t expect an answer for a few days. For an urgent matter please still call them and if it’s life threatening please call 911 but for everything else this app is awesome!!

App and Providers = 💯

When I finally started prioritizing my health, at the beginning of the pandemic touching down in the US, I used to be upset that the providers I needed from University of Utah weren’t being covered. But dang the more I mess with IHC over the years, the more I’m very pleased with them and their technology. This app included. Thank you guys for all you do. I appreciate everybody I’ve ever met here so much and I’m currently continuing to use your services. Blessings to you all and your loved ones.

Everything in one place!

I was skeptical about the app at first but after some tricky insurance-medical care team issues I’ve found it to be super helpful. I was able to send a message to my care team and they replied right away which kept me from having to wait on hold on the phone for 20 minutes. I’ve also been able to keep my prescriptions up to date and scheduling appointments has never been easier.

Thank you for fixing

Honestly, the past applications were unusable. I was very hesitant about this new application, but I am encouraged because it recognizes my face upon login and I don’t have to remember my password. That was the biggest problem with the previous applications. It kept forgetting my passwords so I would have to re-login every time, and it was a huge hassle and made it impossible to use.

TCowell93Version: 11.5.3
Grateful for new app

I really appreciate using the new Intermountain health app. I have been able to ask questions from my home that I would normally have to go in for a doctors appointment to receive answers to my questions Since I have multiple sclerosis this is difficult for me to do. I have been happy to get answers to my questions from my doctor on this app Thank you.!!!

Ostridge7Version: 11.5.3
Can’t see my life without it!!

I love the App. I don’t have to sit there and wait for Dr. to call me back while I’m stressed out. I can keep an eye on the APP and see the test as soon as there finished. If I have any questions I can message the doctor straight through the app and not have to go through nurses to get a response. I get a response straight from the doctor, and super quick.

Patient Care

I followed my Medical Health provider from another practice because of her willingness to listen and really try to take care of my health and my quality of life. Credit to Intermountain health for their belief in allowing their staff that time and how helpful that is to really trying to take care of their patients. My provider and her staff have been amazing and I’m glad I can do this review for them.

Great Medical care in Red Lodge

The Intermountain health facility in Red Lodge is amazing. We used to live in California and we are very used to long lead times for appointments and doctors who would change an annually. The facility in Red lodge is so easy to work with. Bonnie at the front desk is a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. We love and appreciate Dr. Fouts. We are so fortunate to have him here in our community. Great healthcare system we love them!

Amazing tool

I can’t say enough about this app! It’s amazing and effective! I got the results while I was still sitting in urgent care. I requested bloodwork and a UA and by the next day I had both and an appointment.😊 I went and had my blood work done and the next day I had my results on my phone before my Dr even had them. It’s easy to set up! I love it!

Quality Care

I have been in the hospital for a total of 12 days over the last two months. I have been treated with dignity, caring, and respect by every person I have come in contact with. It is part of the culture for this hospital. I would like to be able to thank each of them personally.

Intermountain Health Negative Reviews and Ratings

Why?

I hate this. I can no longer message my doctor to ask questions or to request a refill. The app says we need to request refills from the pharmacy! But guess what? The pharmacy says I need to ask you to send my refills. I'm supposed to be sending my Dr pictures of my blood pressure readings from home. Please tell me how I'm supposed to be doing that now? Also, how wildly inconvenient does it need to be to pay past bills? I have to click so many links! Not to mention, your sign on screen is absolutely obnoxious!!! Why do I need to click login, just to log in??? Bring back the other one! Bring back the ability to view past vitals. That should be a tile along with medications. You guys should've sent out surveys to your patients to seek out their app needs before you even changed anything. The login is absolutely redundant. You've made it too complicated for us to be able to look at the graph of our vitals. I'm assuming many people want vitals history more accessible. And your past bills is just stupid. I don't understand how any of you, thought that was acceptable. This app is too complicated compared to the last one. Messaging your Dr should be able to be done using the messaging tile, but you can't. Do you have any idea how aggravating that is??? It doesn't make sense! Nothing about this is smooth!

Horrible customer service

I had an emergency I needed to be seeing for. I called to sep up appointment with my family doctor, she wasn’t available. A few minutes later a nurse called me to set up an appointment and I accidentally hung up on her right before setting up a same day appointment. I mowed my change to be seeing! :( Called back right away but someone else responded the phone. This person tried to send a message to the nurse that tried to help me to set up the appointment and she didn’t respond because she was busy helping other patient. Drove anyways all the way from Saratoga Springs to Provo anyway in case she called and the appointment was still available. She didn’t call, but it was right at the time of the appointment, so I said I am here in the area but I still need to drive to get to the hospital. She said 10 minutes is the ti e the wait otherwise the appointment is cancel. Went any way and got there at 4, so 9-10 after I had talked to the nurse the second time . I asked the front desk lady to please make an exception after I explained everything and she said no to exceptions. Then the front lady desk said that she could send a message to her manager. The manager never arrived. I left and went to the insta care in same building (2nd) floor and ask if they had a female provider and they responded that they couldn’t say answer that question, that only they can say they just have providers and that the wait was 40 minutes. It is SOOO DISAPPOINTING THAT I AM PAYING FOR ACCESS TO GOOD HEALTHCARE THAT ACTUALLY DOESN’T WORK WHEN YOU NEED IT THE MOST! NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY I WAS TREATED JUST LIKE ONE MORE NUMBER! SÚPER UNPROFESSIONAL. HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!

Frustrating - Where’s my data, my health history, the basic details??

Another year, another new IHC MVP app with less parity than the last. It’s frustrating to migrate apps so often, and even more frustrating to see how little of my health history has just vanished from my access due to a new app migration. From the basic account info and emergency contacts, to historical procedures and recent visits. It’s just gone. Even the stuff from the beginning of the year is missing content. No doctor notes on visits and labs, no procedure images and results, no original result documents, not even the details from a simple vaccination booster follow up to know which brand of a vaccine I got. I can find some things if I seriously dig and export documents, but it shouldn’t be that hidden, and the exported documents are largely the same UI summary in a different format, still lacking details. (Not to mention exposing those as public files on my device.) It’s frustrating overall and frustrating that the doctors I like have to use a painfully MVP system. I’m even less empowered to fill in the details that their new system didn’t populate if I change doctors or have an unexpected visit to another network.

Awful

This new app is an absolute nightmare. I don’t understand why they switched at all, as the old app worked perfectly fine and was much easier to navigate on the patient side of things. First of all, the medical records this new app does successfully show are incomplete. Currently it doesn’t have all my medications (that I have taken for years mind you) listed. Secondly, the scheduling is confusing, and some providers don’t even show up as an option. Lastly, the app didn’t even successfully contact my provider when I sent a message through their system. With the old app something simple like requesting a refill for a medication used to be so easy, but now it’s a confusing, time consuming mess that is causing me more frustration than is necessary. Because of the delay caused by this new app, I am not going to have my meds for a few days, which are crucial to living a functional life. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Bring the old app back.

AnonymousParrotVersion: 11.5.1
Hard to use but forced to use it

The navigation is a bit complicated to find what you need. The homepage has a bunch of notifications with dismiss buttons that don’t work. You have to open the notification and review it to get it to go away, but they added all my old health records for like the last three years so now I have to open them review them to clear them out, but each review takes a few seconds to load and then a few seconds to reload the next homepage so it’s gonna take me a long time clear all these notifications. Which means I kinda don’t know that I’ll see the new ones that actually matter. Rollout has been a nightmare (I’m on a med for a neurological condition. Ihc will only let me get it from their specialty pharmacy, but the pharmacie is rolling to the app so they sent me instructions - which don’t work the way app actually works. I can’t set up my prescription and I won’t be able to get it until they fix the app I guess.) As frustrating as this is for me, I worry about patients whose med disruption will be more severe for them, and who have less ability to navigate through the tech. I’ve had generally good experience experiences with IHC, but I can’t believe they’re just telling patients they have to deal with this app. Can’t get human help. And oh well if it doesn’t work and they can’t get the healthcare they need.

EMomUtahVersion: 11.4.3
One isn’t low enough

IMHO, this new app deserves a zero rating. In the old app, I had access to doctors notes for every encounter. I even saw who the provider was and what clinic I went to when I opened the visit summary. Maybe this new app is adequate for someone who had one or two doctors visit and just wants to confirm the dates because they know the clinic and provider, but for someone who has multiple chronic conditions and many encounters of all types and every year, and is very invested in her detailed issues, this app is awful. I wish I could go back to the old app, and I’m very grateful that I downloaded the specific details of every previous visit and not just the suggested health summary. And I pray that once I have a new encounter documented in this app, the available details will be more accurate and specific than the details from imported prior encounters.

TRON Ft 4 UsrVersion: 11.5.1
New MyChart

I have been disappointed in the new update on the MyChart. As a patient with multiple issues I was always using MyChart to review blood tests results, CT or any radiology as the results was always available for me to review. I can no longer review Doctors notes to help me remember what was told to me during our visits! Now with the new MyChart this is no longer available I was always told that my medical records were mine and I had the right to that information. As a patient I should be I involved in my health care to prevent being lost in the shuffle as we see the busy medical care now. Why is it now being held from us? How can I make decisions when the necessary medical information is being deliberately held from me?

MercimonVersion: 11.5.3
Not Enhancing My Healthcare Experience

I’m disappointed that IHC would shutdown an app that was working before its new app was up and running and actually working to “enhance” my healthcare experience. Right now my Care Team is missing a Doctor who is a vital part of my Care Team. Accordingly, I have no way of messaging him which is the major way we’ve communicated for at least six years. Additionally, and also a matter of great concern, its new app does not sync with the Heslth App on my iPhone. I feel like I’m back in the 1980s with respect to being able to communicate with my Care Team digitally. But rather, forced to communicate by telephone calling; communicating in a much more cumbersome way for me as well as for more Care Team. I realize it’s too late now. But, IHC should’ve never shut down its working app until it had an app which was up and running and most importantly actually worked. This new App, My Chart, is NOT enhancing my healthcare experience. It’s frustrating me to the point, I will never using My Chart. Bottom line, My Chart is horrible and its helpline nor the healthcare providers know anymore about how to use this app than the patients do. Shame on IHC for stating My Chart will “enhance my healthcare experience.” That’s an absolute lie.

KP 00010789478623Version: 11.5.1
Missing Details; Missing Resources; Missing Visits

I would give this app a zero if I could. This app is now totally USELESS! I want to ask the developers what were they thinking? When you view Archived Past Visit Details the only options are to “Print” and “Cancel”. I don’t have a printer. There is no way to view the details online; it only shows the “After Visit Summary”. Apparently that’s all it will print too. There are no details. They are no longer there. I have an ILR and I used to be able to see the ILR device report as a Resource, scroll through the pages and expand them to make them larger so you could read them. This is no longer an option. With the new app, you can’t see any of them anywhere. Plus, half of the visits from last year are totally missing. I’m glad I took screenshots of them before they made the old app no longer functional. Next I viewed my recent, August 29, 2025 test results, and it doesn’t explain anything about the normal range or abnormal range - it’s blank. I had to use Google‘s AI to be able to figure out what the results were. To top it off the new app times out and closes itself. I’ll bet you it’s crashing. The old app, even though it had faults, worked 100% better!

Elicia SysonVersion: 11.4.3
Big Downgrade. Crashes a ton!

This new MyChart by Epic app feels like a big downgrade compared to the previous system and we are being forced to use it. The app crashes constantly, forcing me to close and reopen it just to get basic things done. Even something as simple as switching from my profile to my son’s causes glitches. Logging in is unnecessarily clunky even with Face ID and the overall design looks outdated and spammy compared to the old app. The biggest issue for me is that my medication list did not transfer over and I need a refill soon. My son’s and my upcoming appointments are also missing. That is a serious problem when we rely on this app for our healthcare information especially our follow-up + meds refill. I consider myself pretty good at adapting to new tech but this app is not just a learning curve, it is glitchy and unreliable which makes it frustrating to use. I do not understand why the old system was replaced with this one and I really wish we had the option to go back. Where can I petition? Until the developers address the crashes, missing data, and poor design this app is not helpful for patients who need to manage their care. MyChart is Epic —— FAIL.

Overall service

I’m not happy anymore since you have changed to Intermountain health. I think that they are money hungry but I don’t get the time I need with my doctor anymore. It seems to me like it’s turning into nothing but a business to make money. I’m not happy with what you provide for me. When it was st. Vincent I had much better care and respect from all of your people that work there. I am finding that it’s changed for the worse. I like my doctor but he doesn’t spend the time with me like he used too. I don’t think that’s his problem. I think it’s this inter mountain that’s causing the problems. I’ve been hearing the same complaints from other people I know that go to Intermountain. I suspect that this will be deleted but healthcare should not be run like a business that is just out to make a buck.

Animal59Version: 11.5.1
Disruption/not intuitive

This app has been a huge disappointment and disruption to my family and my personal health routine. Both myself and my wife have had medication delays and health information issues not being available for viewing; especially past test results. In addition, the app is not intuitive… trying to find information, trying to see all my dependents, and all my medications are not listed as they don’t all go through the internal pharmacy. There is also an over abundance of messages that don’t seem to go away even after viewing them. The previous app was way better and easy to use. Intermountain needs to let things just be when they are working well. They don’t need to change things this often for patients or their internal employees.

Koala 27Version: 11.5.1
Difficult transition

It’s been weeks since the transition from the old to the new app and still my medications can’t be refilled through the app, nor can I send my provider a simple message letting him know. I have to do a workaround and select a message option from their menu that doesn’t really fit what I need. The app says my meds can’t be refilled through Epic and to call my pharmacy but the pharmacy can’t refill without a monthly prescription renewal, which has always been the case with a schedule II drug. Also no matter how long I keep the app open on my Apple Watch it won’t sync. Numerous other glitches. I hope they sort it out but the transition has been awful and the clinic is getting no customer support but having to figure it out on their own thru workarounds.

Another Dictator. This cannot be legal. What if you need a second opinion?

Humana and Dr Androssov have made contracts and income more important than patient care and wellbeing. He has a contract with Nevada Comprehensive Pain Management. So if you have chronic pain that will be the only place they will refer you to. Not bad right? There’s more. Nevada pain believes in only treatment plans and invasive surgeries when all you need is pain meds. They will NOT prescribe more than 10mg of a narcotic to anyone. That doesn’t help when your last script was for 40mg a day. Needless to say I am leaving Intermountain Healthcare to a practice that gives you options. Sadly this process took almost two months and I have to start over now with no pain meds and in horrible pain everyday. Thanks Dr Androssov. Thanks a lot for the trouble.

Smeyely1Version: 11.5.1
Is this the best they can do?

The new Intermountain Health MyChart app has honestly been really frustrating to use. The whole experience feels clunky, dated, and oddly unfinished for such a large healthcare network. A lot of the app feels more like a web page shoved into an app instead of a polished native experience, which makes navigation feel slow and inconsistent. The billing experience is especially messy. Bills and payment information are spread across several different sections, some of the payment descriptions are vague or confusing, and I’ve had multiple situations where the system simply would not let me pay a bill because of an error. That should not happen in a healthcare app. What makes it worse is that health data still seems split between the old and new systems, so the experience feels fragmented and difficult to fully trust. Honestly, the app impacts my confidence in the overall Intermountain Health system. I expect a much higher level of quality, organization, and polish from a multi-billion dollar hospital network. Overall it’s a downgrade from the old app, which wasn't to great to begin with.

Wheel58mVersion: 11.7.2
Data not transferred

My care team did not transfer to the new app. At my last appointment with my cardiologist he told me to message him when I was needing my prescription refilled. I cannot because he isn’t shown on my care team. When I call costumer support I am told when I have an appointment he will automatically be updated, I don’t need an appointment, I just had one. She said just call them and have them initiate a message thread, I’m on hold for over an hour at this point waiting. This is so stupid, if you’re not ready for information to be migrated to a new app then don’t disable the old one. My health history, my care team, my billing, nothing is on this new app except for upcoming appointments. And even those doctors are not on my care team.

Matt_LangVersion: 11.4.3
HATE this new system

Not a fan. I cannot access any of my former billing statements, including my ongoing payment plans. And the old app has been disabled, so all of that information is now lost to me. Your tech team really couldn’t figure out how to port information from the old system to the new one?? Secondly, I cannot access my MINOR children’s information without setting up a MyChart app and account for them and then granting access. Why do my, again MINOR, children have to set up separate accounts? This is absurd! I can see doing that at 16, but at 12? No. Also, the new app is clunky; sooo many clicks to get anywhere.

WhaddacrocVersion: 11.5.1
Similar to previous app

This app replaces the prior in Intermountain Healthcare app. Seems that they made a system change. But as of this time, Many of the features have not been enabled properly. For example, for prescriptions I was able to contact my doctor and request refills be sent to my pharmacy. This app does not let me request prescription refills from my doctor. It looks like it’s set up to do so, but evidently the functionality is not complete. Also, the transfer of records from the old app to the new one is sporadic. I’m sure this will end up being a great app, but it’s not complete yet .

RgfearVersion: 11.5.1
Fix the location finder

I was directed to download this new app today… I just want to find out which clinic to go to for my flu and Covid vaccines. The location finder keeps telling me the only place to get a flu vaccine is in Denver (I’m in SLC), then when I was on the website, it’s saying my location is Duluth. Never had this issue with the old app, but that won’t even open anymore and it just directs me to the new app. I’ll update when this is fixed. Something that should have taken just a few minutes has now wasted an hour of my time.

SkewbieDewVersion: 11.4.3
I hate the new app

Since moving to the new app, I no longer have access to minor children health data (they have to create an account and share it with me). They’re minors. They’re on my insurance and I pay the bills. Why do I have to have them create an account? Secondly, none of my medical history or medicines transferred. It added in new meds I’ve never taken. Changed my location to somewhere across the country. And all my old visits and bills (including my payment plan) are not in the new app. So I have to use the web to manage old payments and visits. This app is such a waste. I wish there was another decent medical provider in my area and I’d leave Intermountain for good. This app was the final straw.

TTZSC7Version: 11.5.1
13 year old has to give parent consent

At 13 years old, parents are automatically locked out of their kids accounts and must have consent to have access. My child forgot his password and was locked out of his account for months and we missed messages and bills from the doctor. Parents make the appointments, have the insurance, pay for the bills, fill the prescriptions, etc etc. Why MyChart thinks it’s ok to kick parents out of something so critical is beyond me. I understand letting the kids have access to their information. Slowly let them learn and grow up, but to completely cut parents’ out is about as stupid as it can get.

As it currently stands, the app works well, and I’m still getting used to the layout. One area that could use improvement is the login process. Right now, when you open the app it takes you to a landing page, then you have to click “Login” at the top before entering your credentials. It would be much smoother if the app either remembered your login or took you directly to the credential entry screen. Reducing the number of clicks would make the experience faster and more user-friendly.

Genuinely - Really Bad

Love Intermountain as an institution. But you guys - this app change to MyChart is genuinely a horrendous step back from the previous app. Strictly from a customer touchpoint perspective - everything is worse off. Like literally every single thing - I have yet to find any single thing that is better off (the only fathomable reason is that it had to save an insane amount of money to settle for something this bad). Design-wise, the previous app was actually beautiful, like really good design and art behind it. This app is literally like someone used a bunch of no-code containers and did stacks on stacks on stacks of buttons, notifications, shortcuts, and junk you don’t want or need. It literally feels like someone designed it using spam-mail as a template. The UX/UI is awful across the entire initial client journey. The redirect to download a new app is rushed. The requirement to set up new credentials was very annoying. And the fact that none of (or very limited amounts of) my history/medications/previous visit details/etc. ported over is mind boggling. None of my previous doctors or teams are saved. Arriving at the hospital today with a very simple xray order in hand and having to wait almost 90 min just for the intake staff to get me set up in the new system speaks volumes to how intuitive it is for the medical staff as well (and it literally took 4 staff at the intake window and 2 more at the radiology desk to get it all sorted). I get saving money and trying to lean out where possible, but I sincerely hope that senior team reviews this decision of outsourcing the app to MyCharts. I literally hardly ever leave reviews, something really has to knock my socks off in the good way or bad way - and this was a humongous horrendous BAD way. Just as a business owner and someone who cares about customer experience, I feel compelled to push through the pain of some broken fingers to write this review because it’s THAT bad.

Used to be better

Before they switched to my chart the app used to be better. I used to be able to see X-rays in the app, now my own dr office can’t upload them, I call the number they give you for imaging and wait forever on hold and they tell me I have to request them from someone else. Finally weeks later they came in the mail on a disk, who has anything to even play a disk on anymore? I needed them that day to take to the chiropractor not weeks later. Can’t find billing on there either, just a “calculated summary “ I have no idea if insurance actually paid anything or not and probably won’t for months.

Unhelpful

Long story short, I went to the er for a foreign body in my eye, they didn’t get it out and just poked around for 20 minutes, and I’m getting charged an absurd amount for that, all to go somewhere else to get it fixed. And the customer service on this app has been entirely unhelpful in fixing the situation as if they don’t have any communications with the hospital to fix these issues, even though it is basically there entire online portal for payment etc. i have spoken with 3 different people and none of them have really provided helpful assistance. I’d just avoid going to the er as best you can because the whole thing will rob you dry

Pre-mature rollout, can’t pay bills

Currently can’t pay any bills that occurred prior to Sept 6 using this app. It kicks you to a browser page (with a different login) that you can use to see *if* you have a bill, but not to pay it - that requires a different login and a different webpage. Somehow these all do not speak to each other, none of the passwords work, and I can’t even create a new account to pay the bill because I lack the info to create a new account which is the info on the bill that I am trying to see and pay. I’d like to pay my money and be done with it, but they’ve made it impossible to do so

Telehealth

The app isn't inherently terrible, but it is not as user friendly as it claimed to be. We had a Telehealth appointment that wouldn't load under my name, but would load under my spouses. It was having trouble- I ended up at an urgent care after trying for three hours, because I was denied care on Telehealth not just once, but twice because my profile never connected. I also have select health insurance and they didn't marry the profile and I ended up having to pay for all three appointments out of pocket. So if 0 stars were an option I would pick that for the telehealth portion.

Dislike it a LOT!

The app previously was soooo much better and more user friendly. This app never shows my balance or payment plan, always says 0.00. I was also almost sent to collections because there was nothing in my app that showed I owed. IHC doesn’t send out paper statements consistently. Sometimes I get them and sometimes I don’t. Not to mention IHC sent their costumer service to India, such a joke to try to get answers because they do NOT understand what you are saying or asking. Anything to save a dollar, IHC customer service has went down a ton since they did this.

Login process is awful every time

Logging into the app goes as follows: Click app, touch FaceID login, watch that be ignored while the “welcome” page pops up, click login, be brought back to FaceID login button, touch again, watch it be ignored in favor of the “welcome screen” coming back up, repeat 4-5x, touch FaceID multiple times hoping it registers, when it finally does it runs FaceID as many times as you touched the button, like 5x FaceID scans in a row. Finally usually get to the actual account. Sometimes it never does and I have to force quit it and start over. How on earth is it this bad?

Meh

The previous app was better. This one doesn’t allow me to see as many notes or reports. My son’s been in the hospital since before the switch. The staff often get too busy or they forget to update or they end up not rounding when I’m told they’ll be there so I used the old app for my updates. This one does not allow me to do this and when notes are placed, they’re continuation of every other doctor’s notes and I have to sort through and find what’s been recently added. I miss how the old app had a new note for each time doctor came in.

Took Over The Last App My Doc Used

The last app that I had that my doctor went through was for the clinic here in town Saint Vincent’s. I was able to communicate my medication needs my other doctoral needs and ask questions without necessarily needing to book an appointment if it was quick and easy to do so, however that’s no longer an option and I’m very disappointed that it is not. Contact with my doctor or nurses about my medication or direct needs with my migraines and other health risks is an assess and this app does not allow for that. I hope that changes.

Awkward

Just one example: I came to an area which was reminding me of procedures which needed to be done or we’re overdue. One of them was an eye exam coincidentally I just picked up a new pair of eyeglasses today. I thought it’s a good time to submit my information for having completed the eye exam. On the first screen, there were two mandatory fields. One was my birthdate, which was no problem. The other said “Location and/or address.” Location of what??? My eye doctor, the clinic name, where his office is located, my address.???
