It is a must try ( you will love it)I hardly ever leave a review, but I had to with this. This has been the best app that I’ve gotten and I actually had it for like months now and I paid to have the advertisements removed because a dessert I mean it was cheap. It’s a lifetime and I can’t say enough good about this app and I’m usually frustrated with all of them and I pay 1020 $30 a month for some of them I might need but I end up canceling them because they’re no good and this was only $2.99 for a lifetime. I don’t know. I think it was pretty good. It is a much try and it’s just like your remote control I use it on my iPad so I can see it no matter what because mine doesn’t. Amazingly User Friendly, see to believe!Believe it or not, between my husband and I, one of us lost the original remote to our bedroom television. So of course my husband ran out and bought a twenty dollar remote, Low and behod two nights later the remote fairy strikes and poof, the newly purchased remote is gone. Free is great and bought ad freeI lost my remote when moving and I tried 4 different remotes including the official LG one. This is the best of all and the ads are not as frequent or intrusive as the other apps with lower quality. I like how it just has the image of the controller so it’s like you are just using a virtual controller as it should be. Many apps will charge you up to $20 per year when the ad free version of this one is $3 permanently. Note since this uses WiFi you still need an infrared remote to turn the TV on and wake it up using volume controls when it goes to sleep. Works brilliantlyUsing with LG C4. I really like this app, although the photo used in the app for my model of remote could have been cleaner (dust particles around buttons). I almost would have preferred a rendering, but that’s being nitpicky. What’s great is the functionality. Works well when it worksI’ve had this remote for awhile because it remote stopped working and sometimes the sensors would get blocked. I considered posting for the ad free version but wanted to test it out first. I get so annoyed frequently because 1. There’s lots of ads so when scrolling through the tv it will open ads constantly because I didn’t realize an ad opened on the app. Not only that it CONSTANTLY disconnects from my tv. Even if I am connected with a strong signal I cannot power on or off, change volume levels or stop or play shows. Actually worksBest remote Iv found for my lg. It actually connects and doesn’t ask me to buy anything to get rid of pop ups every 5-10 clicks. Best one I’ve seenDog chewed up the second remote so I just decided to download a bunch of free ones to test them out for my LG tv. Half of them had really annoying ads, the other half wanted $5 subscriptions lol. Better than official LG AppI’ve tried several different apps for my tv over several years, and this one is the best. I like it better than LG’s own official app, largely because it actually works consistently. It gives all the functions of my remote, plus it gives the option of voice controls. Too Many Ads-I've started to use this app yesterday due to me losing my actual LG TV remote. Have to directly connect to network???I might be missing something, but this app is a waste. In my case, the blu-ray player has to be on the same network as the app on the phone. Who dedicates an independent hardwired connection directly to the network for a legacy blu-ray player? That’s absurd. I’m not going to worry with that, going backwards 10 years just so I can then access it from my phone. I imagine doing what people really want from an app like this and the millions of pointless duplicates is hindered by protocols or something, but there’s got to be a better way. I want to connect it with HDMI and then be able to control the device from my phone and access it like any other components (sound bar, TV, AppleTV, cable, Roku). Is that not possible? Sketchy AdsThis app does what I need it to do. The only downside is there are a lot of ads, and some of them are sketchy. One says my phone has a virus and IOS is damaged by 72%. And further damage would result in locking up and loss of all data, instructing me to click the button to remove all viruses. Another says we have detected that your device has been hacked after visiting adult websites. It also instructs me to click a button, be redirected to the “App Store”, and download this undisclosed clean up program. I have recently had my computer remotely accessed after trying to download Claude from the App Store. Turns out, it wasn’t Anthropic’s. Fortunately all I lost was my computer data, but it very easily could have been everything ranging feom email access, bank accounts, and all website/platform access.
