Works great for 70” Sony!UPDATE: Caution! Once you try this app, you will be hooked! This smart phone remote has been a game changer & now I can’t go back! Admittedly, it was a little awkward at first, but when your sweet hubby falls asleep snoring in his recliner and it’s okay to leave him there, now I don’t even have to leave my bed to turn the TV off!!! Initially had to find alternative suddenly when physical remote failed; this was the 3rd app I tried and it has really delivered! Worked seamlessly w/ my Sony tv via the same WiFi network. Using the free version (very few ads), but maybe the paid version has a long press option? It worked, but it definitely can be betterAt first, it was a little hard to set up and our tv said it was blocking access, but we followed the instructions and got it up and running. I like that they have different kinds of remotes and you can just go to the app instantly and have it up and running. (If you had it open in the background while previously using it) Don't let the image looking remotes fool you, they work.
However, the ad pop ups are terrible. Every 10-15 or so presses brings up an ad and it's very annoying. Otherwise, it worked fine for me, didn't like the ads though, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars..Keiran G.Version: 2.33

Controls my TV pretty good.For the most part this controller is pretty good. The only complaint I have is with the volume as I have to press it repeatedly to increase the volume instead of being able to just hold it down and that’s a bit annoying. A good temp fix, but that’s about it.My Sony TV remote died, so I downloaded this app till the replacement arrives. If the app worked better, I wouldn’t spend the money on a new remote, but that’s not the case. It worked well once, then after turning the TV off and back on again, I had to remove the app from my phone and reload it again in order to get it to work. Also, the entire remote image doesn’t fit on my iPhone 12 screen, so I have to scroll up or down to get to the top or bottom of the remote. Yeah, I know, 1st World Problems, but I’d expect it to work better overall than it does. Also, adds pop up, but they can be removed for a one-time in-app payment of $3.99. If I liked the remote, I’d pay it. But it’s a no-go for me. Since it’s a free app, you clearly get what you paid for..HollygramVersion: 7.0
Does not workI don’t usually like writing reviews. Especially bad ones but I need others to know as well as the developers of the issues this app has. I love how simple (ideally) it is to connect to the TV. It will show up in the available devices as it’s IP address and it was pretty easy to tell which IP address was the TV’s but when I went to connect the tv to the remote app I always get an error message saying connection failed. This needs to be fixed. I have even tried manually setting it up which is still extremely simple if it worked. Please fix and let me know when it is I would love to use this app but if it’s not going to work I’m not going to bother with it..Terrible 🤦♂️Version: 7.0
Poor implementation, buggyThe biggest problem is how it handles lag / lack of connection - it continues hitting the same input. So if you walk slightly out of WiFi range while increasing the volume, the TV gets cranked to 100 volume and it might be 30 sec or a minute before you can reduce it. If you’re in the middle of entering a pin or password, it will enter it a dozen times and lock you out.
The other problem is the ads - it will literally pop up a dozen of them while you’re trying to put on one show, and it does it while you’re actively trying to input. It’s sketchy, maddening, and greedy..KdjsiejsnVersion: 7.7
