May not come when you want it but its right on time.Theres an old church saying about how someone or something may not come when you want, but it will come when you need it and it will be at the time you need it most. And that is what I recall in my mind when using UKG wallet app. I would like to be paid daily but that is not always ideal for me personally. My allowance from my daily income earnings post on UKG usually on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday, therefore I have spending money for the week and weekend to use on gas, food and small emergency unexpected expenses if needed to make it through until the upcoming paycheck. UKG wallet also offers customers to have multiple debit cards and bank accounts to transfer money into once your earnings post which is one of many of my favorite features on the app.._npruittVersion: 1.0.13

Planned savingsI really appreciate being able to advance money when I need it. It’s always a challenge to meet my expenses. Wow, that easy?I was advised to download this app by my HR advocate to help with a bill in a pinch. Literally solved my problem in a literal 60 second minute. Amazing, seamless. Great app but.It’s really a great app. I love how it tells you how much you’ve earned for the day. I definitely like how it allows you to take a certain amount out of your check. But for some reason it hasn’t been letting me login in. I’ve used the same login since I downloaded the app and it won’t let me login anymore. It tells me to check to make sure all the information is correct and try again but it’s correct and it still won’t let me in. Hours not updating. Dismissive chat supportI like the app. It really offers the freedom and ease with this economy but the app needs work cause hours sometimes does not update and asking chat support is useless cause the support teams are dismissive. I’ve asked multiple times in multiple events to help update my hours but they give you a generic answer. One chat support stated UKG pro and UKG wallet are separate entity. Random app layout switch??I used to love this app until yesterday, i cant access my earnings because i cant link my bank account all of a sudden. Mixed feelings, DO NOT USE THE UKG CARDIve had the app for a short period and its worked well all the way up until I applied for the card. It allowed me to create and activate a digital card however once I put money onto it it became unusable digitally and would not flip over so I could see the back of the card. Im still waiting on the physical card to arrive and the money shows its available $300 but its stuck in limbo until the app decides to start working or the card arrives. Ive spoken with support through email, text, and over the phone however its been over a week and nothing has changed. I was told my card wasn’t activated and I needed to do so in the app that was incorrect. I was then told I needed to call a number “card services” however to they require all information on card that I don’t have access to. I was assured that they’re working diligently to resolve this the term “high priority” was used. However I truly believe Im being passed around with hopes that I’ll just go away $300 while not a lot of money these days is still nothing to sneeze at I needed that $ in an emergency Id be completely screwed. Long story short, If new don’t apply for the card it is clearly a work in progress and they have been very slow getting this particular situation taken care of. Worst. Decision. Ever.I can’t understand why ANYONE would choose to use UKG wallet. I started a new job, & they offered me a UKG card to receive my paychecks. The perks they listed were payday advances. Here’s the problem: once you get paid, your check automatically goes onto a Visa (like a pre-paid Visa) & you have no direct access to it! You can’t use it like a pre-paid Visa, but that’s it. I tried linking it to my bank account so I could transfer funds to pay my mortgage—nope! I tried transferring it to my bank indirectly using Apple Cash—nope! UKG is not eligible for Apple Cash. I can’t pay for bills using the money, since it is not a bank account. They claim on their FAQs you can do all this—but the only funds that you can actually use for bill pay or to transfer to your bank is that payday advance money. Once you get paid, your check goes to the Visa, & you can’t get it. (I’ve spent hours on the phone—4 people at UKG support, 1 at my bank, the UKG liaison for my employer, and 2 people at Apple Support…plus scouring the FAQ on the UKG support page. I can’t figure out WHY anyone would use this, unless you are that desperate to get paid before payday. The only option I have now is to get my cash from an ATM. What a huge hassle. Financial Insecurity for Corporate ProfitIf you simply can’t acquire a bank account maybe UKG Wallet can be useful. But really this is explicitly “not a bank account” I’m guessing they make interest on money held in their system and screw over the people working who need a reliable way to access the money they have earned. The only money that can actually be moved around is something like a payday loan, which likely comes with some predatory fees, but I can’t say for sure since I was focusing on managing money from a paycheck that gets deposited onto a prepaid visa. The visa is attached with a routing and account number as a way to add funds to the card, but not out. Again this is not a bank account that provides people with any benefits or security. Once your check deposits into the prepaid card you can no longer use any features to transfer money, pay bills or really anything. I didn’t try to convert to Apple Cash and then transfer to my band, which can be a several day long process. So it looks like I will have to search for one of the hard to find ATMs that “might” not charge a fee. Get a checking account, use one of the popular money transferring apps or really anything else that gives you options on how to use your money..ElmibroVersion: 1.0.13

It’s A Trap! Use With CautionThe app seems feasible and easy to use in the beginning, but looks can be deceiving and in this instance they 100 percent are. I use UKG wallet/Kronos due to my employer making it available. The inconstancy in funds available makes no sense and you get no notification of changes. I was told the max I could get per pay period was $750 but I always max out at $650 or $450. When I asked customer service why my max was different each pay period with the same hours and pay I was told “the system reduces the percentage of available funds sometimes”. Which is the most “said something, saying nothing” answer ever. Also, I called 3 different customer service people and got 3 different answers (they don’t know). So in a nutshell the app is not reliable and it will glitch! One service person told me “we actually gave you too much access to your funds” I’m like but you deducted it from my check so how does that affect this pay period??? to which he had no answer lol save yourself the time and frustration and avoid the app unless it’s a emergency..Chris87yupVersion: 1.0.16

Do NOT get!The only reason I put one star was because you have to have a star to rate this app. I downloaded this because my work offers it for advances for my daily work. For about 2werks it worked. Then all of a sudden my balance was $0 even after 8 full days of work and hours recorded. I called and chatted multiple times with their “support” personnel. I was given a case number and my case was “escalated”.. they explained that my percentage of available funds was at 70% but then it went down to 9% and they couldn’t explain why.. I explained that even at 9% I should still have some kind of balance available. They honestly couldn’t even make me understand why in the world it all changed and why the $0 balance.. I was told it was on the “back end” and there were rules to the process. But when I asked them what the “back end” was and what the rules were, they couldn’t explain. I’m seriously very upset that a company that offers these things cannot explain their rules and procedures. I’m grateful I never had my direct deposit sent to this card system. Not dependableI paid over $500 in advance my last check and it won’t let me advance still. It’s been a full week of me working so I have the hours available, and they still keep saying they’re looking into the matter. The WorstThe only reason I used this is because my employer uses UKG Kronos for payroll. The only benefit to depositing you Check into this is to pull advanced from your checks earned wages. But you don’t even need an account for that. If you run into any issues forget customer service. They are rude, incompetent, unresponsive liars. They will claim escalate your issue and tell you 24 hours it will resolve, but you will wait weeks and still not have a resolution. Do not trust this company with your money. I would immediately transfer your wages elsewhere and do NOT pay any bills with it. If you have a dispute or if anything happens to your money you can forget about getting it back. Inconsistent in funds availabilityMost support reps seem to be clueless when contacting them via chat in the app to resolve an issue. Had different reps give me completely different answers which none seem to address the issue. At times, the fund availability does not reset on the expected date. When contacting support, it should be common sense to view and see that 70% of the time the funds availability resets on a specific date within a pay period. Not super greatI’ve tried 4 times to apply for the debit card it says it can’t verify my information. The first time was because the app hadn’t received my information. I reached out two days later they said all the information was in and they would deactivate my account to start over. It took about 3 times reaching out for my account to get deleted. Finally I was able to enroll from the beginning same thing it wouldn’t let me register. Now I have to wait another 2 days to see what’s going on. Poor customer service and Too many technical issuesI never really used UKG until now and everything is just wrong . Slow to update earningsIn theory it sounds great and at times it is. However, my earnings are hardly ever update within the 24 hour time frame. UpdatesThe app does not update like it should. Therefore you cannot really access your pay in advance because it’s showing you didn’t actually work when you did. When you reach out to chat your message is never responded to. You have to call a live person. It really is a terrible app. Employees get excited that they have access to a pay app and then it doesn’t work properly. Customer service is patheticIf you try to get help through their online chat feature, they give you a number to call, which turns into being transferred to multiple people who don’t have a clue what they’re doing.
