It’s become my go-to app for the latest news updates on the 49er’s and the Golden State Warriors. The app is now better than the original app which I had for many years. No improvement unless you like adsDespite the hype, this is no big improvement unless you’re dying to see ads pop up EVERY time you open a story. So, now you have to close the pop-up window to continue reading. About the 20th time, you’re ready to delete the app. They’ve packed all the teams in one app so you have to select your team (i.e. Kings) if you don’t care that the Giants got drubbed 7-2. It still has the same high-school-level writers (with the exception of Dierberger, who’s decent) and they don’t break any new ground. They just pimp the team. Not a bad gig for free press creds. If you want some basic info about your team, give this a try, but don’t count on it being your go-to app for your favorite Cali team..MacDuck12Version: 7.9

Atrocious appWhat a downgrade from the previous app. Now every interview is broken into 45-60 second segments with each labeled as a separate “story”. And you have to watch at least a 30 second ad between each segment. C’mon. Ridiculous. Way to ruin a perfectly good app. Apparently NBC is now brining on more ad revenue. While spoon-feeding tiny sound bites and forcing ads down our throats. No thanks. And, there is very little useful factual information on games, schedules, etc….Or if there is? It’s buried someplace and I haven’t found it. The way it’s going they probably make you watch an ad to see a schedule. Wretched..Go Dubs!!Version: 7.10.1

Not a fan at all.This app is horrible. I downloaded it because it was new, but the old app was better. For example, favorites. I want my favorite teams. I don’t want or care to hear about the other teams. It’s not user friendly. It took me a few just to find the settings on the app. I get that’s you’re trying to include all the teams, but it’s counterintuitive to force non fans to learn about the other teams if they don’t like them. Give me back the old version of the app.If so could give this app a negative score it would be enough. On the previous version of the app, at least I could see scores and the date and time of the next game. I don’t have to keep clicking in to find the thing that should be on the home page. The home page should also be the one sport you’re watching during its season. The UI is horribly unintuitive and fussy. Way to trash a once great appThis used to be the best sports app around. You could watch Bay Area sports, read easy to navigate articles, and no horrible ads popping up. I’m not sure what the developers were thinking! This seems like a third rate app now with way too many ads going on. I guess they thinking they would make more money, but with no one going on this app now, I’m not sure how that’s gonna have. Eliminated favoritesI don’t like this new app. For one it doesn’t include the ability to select and view only your favorite teams. You can customize alerts but the feed is still cluttered with teams that I don’t follow. The old format was perfect for just what I wanted to see. Awful app that keeps getting worse.Unless you like watching ads for every single thing you click on, avoid this app like the plague. Want to read something? There’s an ad. Video? More ads. Bad AppI want my local app to give me local facts. Like the lineup for today, the batting averages, era for my team and the opponent, how our and their pitchers have performed over their last three starts. This app still hasn’t mentioned that we signed UDFA Javon Johnson. What it does provide is the entire 162 game schedule with one detail. The final score. And the ads work perfect, but I have clicked on headlines that take me to completely different stories. Maybe improvements will be made..Score 2Version: 7.9

Next to worthlessThe entire reason I downloaded this app was to stream games when I’m away from my house.
