Great app, great customer serviceWell, I‘be got to take back any negative things I’ve said about this app not working. I finally set aside time to call AT&T customer service and the rep figured out and fixed the issue in a couple minutes (and I was only on hold for about thirty seconds). It was a password problem, so a simple fix once the rep got it updated for me. Anyway, this app has been a great way for me to check in on my home office calls and faxes when I’m on the road, and I am thrilled to have it up and running again. If I run into further snags, I won’t delay calling their customer service line. Very nice work, AT&T, I appreciate you (and this app)..YH in WIVersion: 1.14.0

Stopped workingDoing fine until early this year. Suddenly told me to check settings because unable to log in. Probably around March like other reviewers said. Called ATT twice. Didn’t get any help and gave up since so much time on hold without results. Works when calling the number to retrieve messages from home phone but have to call several times from mobile phone and input password few times. I have 6 digit password. Will probably cancel landline because of this. Just having it as a backup to mobile at this point. Ps won’t let me send review of 1 star saying nickname is taken even if I put ridiculous names. ***How to Fix March 2021 “Unable to access” problem***If after the March 2021 app update, the app says you can’t access your voicemail, try: 1) Go to Settings. 2) Turn OFF the “Save PIN” option. 3) Go to Inbox, you should be prompted to enter your home phone number and your PIN. If you’re not prompted, close the app and re-open again to go to Inbox. Enter home phone number and PIN when prompted. 4) The app should now function normally. Go back to Settings and turn “Save PIN” back on so that you won’t have to enter your number and PIN every time..Bad AT&T appVersion: 1.14.0

Works fineHad this on my phone worked great. Lost my phone and got a replacement phone voicemail stopped working. Support (Ben) spent quite awhile working to get it working again and succeeded. A few days later voicemail stopped again. Support tried again but we couldn’t get it to work. Contacted AT & T spent over 1 1/2 hrs and two techs finally got it working. Delete and download again if you get locked outI updated the app over the weekend to 1.14.0 and it locked me out. I had to delete the app and download it again (twice) for it to let me log in again. Overall, it’s a good app. Alerts me whenever I have a voicemail at home, and Reading the transcriptions - still not perfect – are much faster than actually listening to a voicemail. Now it works greatI used this app for quite some time with no problem. Recently my iPhone X s Max crashed and I had to have it restored to factory settings. After reinstalling this app, I could no longer log in. I tried getting help with NO SUCCESS. I actually called AT&T and they could not help me AT ALL. Okay, needs improvementThis app works fine for checking my home voice messages. Listening to voicemails is pretty straightforward. The transcription is useful. But I wish it had the ability to change the alert tone to something more significant. My biggest disappointment now is now they’ve taken away the ability to forward the voice message in an email. **People having trouble logging in**I called AT&T and they figured out it is wanting a 6 digit PIN number in my case to login. Once my pin was changed to 6 digits it let me login and stay logged in. Once logged in under settings there is an option for pin to be remembered. If this doesn’t work for you call AT&T. The guy stuck with me and figured it out. What happened to forwarding?Generally a useful app. It used to have the ability to forward voicemails via email from my iPhone, which I found very valuable. Unfortunately, it does not look like the iPhone app supports this function. Apparently, it's still an option on the iPad. Strangely, AT&T website still refers to Windows 7 widgets. Basic voicemail pickupI recently moved my home phone to the AT&T U-Verse COIP service. I wanted to be able to pick up messages on my iPhone AT&T told me that I should use the VM viewer app. It's OK for basic functions - I do in fact get a notification when someone leaves a message on my home phone, they are converted to text on my cell [none (allowing me to deal with many/most messages without actually listening through them), and I can play them back on my cell. This is fine for onesy-twosy messages. Two additional features would be very helpful. 1. Allow me to trigger the speakerphone on my iPhone when playing back messages. 2. Great appMy wireless and home phone voice mail have a shared mailbox. When a message is left in the mailbox, the app vibrates the phone and I can read a transcription of the message and delete without needing to dial and log into the mailbox over the phone. Phone AppIt’s ok. I wish they had the next message automatically highlighted already to just click to delete instead selecting it and deleting it each time. Also for the trash bin , there should be automatic time to be deleted like in 3 days all the messages in the trash bin would be deleted. Could be betterI like the fact that I can check my voicemails from my phone. That’s very helpful. However, the transcription is horrible! None of the words match ever. Can’t count on itSince ATT upgraded lines in my neighborhood we have had to log in to our landline twice to get the light to stop flashing. I gave up trying to get an Att person to understand the problem. I thought this app might help with that annoyance. It does, I listen to message on app, hit delete and light on my landline goes away! Awesome, one login! However, about half the time I pull the app up it won’t put a curser on the login space so, I can’t even logon on the app. 😬 So it’s back to the landline, login, listen delete, Hangup, login again, listen to it tell me I have have no messages, hang up, watch flashing light go off.😬😬.HgfdstujVersion: 1.11.0

AT&T APP and employees never heard of it!The App is working but it does not notify me when someone leaves a message. No ringtone letting me know someone just called. I had 15 messages waiting. The sound icon selected I tried everything before calling AT&T. I was transferred to other departments and nobody I mean nobody knew or heard of this APP. I tried for two days trying to get help. Keep in mind I’m paying a monthly fee for this App. Where’s the customer service. My work around because I need this app. I check the app manually every 10 minutes to see if I have any messages. Great app until it diedI very much enjoyed the app and found it useful as I have a lot of business communications at the present time. Then one day it stopped working and asked me to log on again. It refuses to take the logon information and continuously send a pop up saying wrong info. The info is not wrong. Called AT&T. VERY dissatisfied!!!Since the last update (about a week ago) the app no longer works properly. I’ve spent almost an hour on my cell phone with 3 different customer service reps who are unfamiliar with the app despite it being an AT&T app. I know I have 3 messages waiting for me to look at but can’t get them. Really..! Do some real programming and update…This used to be a great and useful app for years and now it isn’t. Like other users have said, a recent update made it so the Work and Home apps can no longer retain different phone datasets unless you open each one and leave them running all the time.... In other words, you can’t have one for home and one for work anymore unless both are currently active at the same time... App stopped working mid March.Why did the app stop working in mid March? It functioned satisfactorily for years, but now when the app opens it says it can no longer access my ATT landline voicemail account. It tells me to check the settings, but there is no info on my phone account — just a blank. My old voicemails are present but not new ones. The only option seems to be to press Reset, but this option warns that all old voicemail will be lost. Old & barely functionalApp needs an update to provide basic functionality such as a bulk delete. Additionally, and this might require a back-end update, moving a vm to the DELETED folder should trigger an automatic permanent delete within a configurable time period. As it stands now, you must 1st delete from the inbox and THEN delete from deleted items folder or the messages continue to hold up space. Finally, enabling the ability to allow your mailbox to purge the oldest message upon a new message arrival (when mailbox is full) would be a good option as well..ReggieSmithVersion: 1.11.0

Update this for 2019This app is super slow. Barely loads. Translation is horrible. Of course being a stock holder ATT doesn’t even call me back or take feedback to fix or make this app better. I’d give it zero stars if I could.Since the beginning of March 2021 I’ve not been able to use this app. When I get a VM notification and activate the app on either my iPad or iPhone, I get a popup, "unable to log in" , "check your account details in Settings". I tried to explain it to the customer svc rep in the Philippines but after 45 minutes she passed me to a specialist, and of course the phone call was dropped. Behind the TimesFine if you want to check land line messages from a digital device, but lacks functionality found in Comcast’s Xfinity Connect app. With XC I could receive texts to my land line as well as make and receive calls from my iPad. They broke itThe home and work version are now interlinked some how. I had to reset the number and pin. And now both the home and work have the same tele number.
