Hers: Women’s Healthcare Positive Reviews

An App feature reviewYo. This is a solidly built app. From one dev to another I am very smitten with the daily motivational push notifications. 😂🥹 The first day I was pleasantly surprised, then I realized I was getting notifys more from HERS and they are all so thoughtfully curated and gentle. So I applaud the designer or writing team who really leaned into the sympathy and encouragement of those messages for th anxiety line. New medicine can be very nerve wracking and reading these is an ease way to reflect what you’re feeling and see it confirmed and move on with the new habit. One feature I did feel confused about;( but is working as intended) Why do the video shorts not auto play into the next one similar to YT or TT shorts? It feels stiff compared to other apps. Constantly navigating back to start a new 3 min or less video is a bit too interactive for that short a time frame. Instead; I prefer a “up next” or auto play navigation that lets the user know where they are in the playlist of videos. Anyway, the app is really solid. I haven’t had any issues or buggy one offs. Most of the complaints on this are OPs and provider issues which is not app related so kudos to you guys. ⭐️.Version: 4.11.0

Daily log not user friendlyI put in a time for a reminder to log my daily intakes and I can’t change the time from am to pm? So it’s requesting me to log for that same day at 8am and I haven’t even started my day yet. Also you can’t go back to see or edit anything from the previous days in case you did forget to log your daily progress. It would help if you had it set up where you can not only view your weigh in progress but your water, protein, sleep and movement. And the sliding scale should be number related instead so that people can be more honest with themselves and actually see the progress they have been making with their eating, exercising, water and sleep. Maybe give options on the movement (walk, bike, weights) as well as protein (red meat, fish, chicken, pork) The app is great for information and additional training but taking such a big step I think people want to be held accountable and be able to actually see where their progress is going not only on the scale but in everything else. I have to use another app to log all that stuff in right now because I can’t change anything on this app. Just a suggestion but I think you would see a whole lot more people logging in their health and fitness more actively..Version: 4.47.0

Great Concept but not for people who are struggling financially with a family to take care ofAfter inputting all the needed information to receive help for hair loss, I was directed to a page where I had to input my credit card information. While I expected their services to be a paying service I thought they would have the opportunity for people to receive services through their health insurance. This wasn’t an option so I had to decline the service in general. Not everyone can afford $35 - $175 a month. I guess I had this assumption because I was a proud customer of online birth control for years and I received those services with my health insurance and NOT with monthly payments on a credit card or Apple Pay account. By not having an option for people to pay with health care insurance it excludes many people who need help health wise yet can’t obtain it due to their finances. It’s an endless cycle where only the “well off” can afford decent health care services (medicine, counseling, therapy, etc.) Thank you for reading. I will recommend this service to others because I can recognize the amazing potential within it but people should know ahead of time that Hers/Hims do not accept health insurance..Version: 4.24.0

It works great for me but….If you’re already familiar with the drug they’re prescribing then this service is great. I moved away from my hometown and my psychiatrist couldn’t prescribe my meds if I lived in a different state than where she is licensed. So it was very convenient for me to hop on HERS and get a prescription very quickly without all the bells and whistles as when I went the traditional route, it took almost 2 months for my doctor to diagnose me and write a prescription. With that being said, after 2 months, I was very informed about the drug I was being prescribed and was confident that it would work because my doctor took the time to get to know me and listen to what I needed. So I’m not sure how this App can just issue psychiatric medication to ppl who’ve never been assessed by a professional in depth and may have no experience with these types of drugs. In a nutshell, it was great for me because I know what I’m getting into and pretty much just needed a refill but to someone who’s completely new to medication, it runs the risk of being a little sketchy..Version: 3.49.0

Minoxidil tabletsI have been using the tablets for about five months. I can possibly see that areas have filled in. They talked about seeing “baby hairs” but I don’t. My hair stopped falling out at about two months, and that certainly helped. I am going to try the tablets for another year and see what I get. The only side effects is that at about 3 months I had trouble sleeping, because my family doctor asked me to take them at night because I have naturally low blood pressure. I changed to day time and my blood pressure is not in an unhealthy range. I also have more hair on my legs, but if that’s the worst side effect I get I will be happy. I don’t think this is a bad review. Having my hair stop falling out is a good thing. I was losing it in clumps and now I’m not. My hair isn’t thicker yet, but it isn’t getting thinner and that was happening fast before. I hope it gets thicker, but if I stop losing my hair and the ones that fell out grew back I will be happy. They say you shed a certain amount of hair, I was shedding a lot and it stopped so that has definitely helped..Version: 4.30.0

PredatorySuper predatory, will charge you even after cancelling your prescription. For me, the product I received greatly increased my anxiety, so I cancelled my prescription. A week later, I get a surprise charge to my account for 147$, for an active prescription. So I check the app, and the app in big red highlighted text confirms that I had cancelled my prescription. I am currently disputing this charge with my bank, and the support team said that there was nothing they could do due to the prescription being approved already. The app demonstrates extremely predatory actions, and I cannot recommend it. Update - I ended up needing to talk to a couple different teams within the app an VIA email. I eventually got my refund, and it feels like both parties agreed it was due to the app not updating with current steps in their process. I can’t super recommend this app for the difficulty it was navigating through my issues, but it is quite easy to access basic supplements through if you know what you want..Version: 4.24.0

Good for prescription refills, otherwise be cautiousThis app is great for getting a prescription for a medication you are already familiar with but I would be careful trying new psychiatric drugs on the recommendation of Hers. After filling out a brief survey, I was quickly given a prescription for Cymbalta. I have been on Cymbalta for years but I recently moved to a small town where psychiatric care is unavailable and needed a prescription. This was good news for me but I was concerned with how quickly the prescription was given. I received one message from the psychiatrist assigned to me that consisted of a seemingly automated description of their services and the medication being prescribed. Psychiatric drugs can really mess you up if not taken properly and monitored by a doctor, I know from personal experience. Please just be careful. It appears to me that Hers is handing out serious drugs to people who may be desperate and need real help. Go to a real doctor if you aren’t sure what to do..Version: 3.26.0

Great App for excellent products!Hers just got better!! Now there is an app!! Amazing, easy to use and everything I need right at my fingertips! Now about the product! I tried this on a whim after seeing the JLo ad. Took the survey was prescribed minoxidil and spironolactone to treat my hair loss issues. I figured it was worth a try. So I starter the treatment and noticed results and new hair growth with in the first month and almost no hair falling out when I showered. Mind you it was falling out by the clumps. I love this stuff and love the personalized customer service and medical care I have received. If you are on the fence- just do it. You won’t be sorry! Thank you hers for restoring my hair but more importantly my confidence!.Version: 2.21.0

My hair feels like it’s 20 again!!Since losing my mom, turning 40, and the new pressure of a high-stress job, my hair was falling out in chunks. Every time I washed or brushed it, half of it would end up on the floor. I was noticing more patches on my hairline and part. I started taking Hers hair supplement about 4 months ago, and my hair is back to its original fullness! It doesn’t shed in chunks anymore, and the patchiness is gone. Even the little dark hairs around the corners of my mouth have been growing in again, never thought I’d miss those, but my hair levels seem to be back to how it was in my 20’s! Can’t recommend them enough, the results speak for themselves! 🫶.Version: 5.11.0

I love hers, but….I’ve been using the app for six months. Now I have this welcome message on the app when it opens that I can NOT get past because the “continue” button is outside of the screen area of the phone and it will not allow me to scroll down or click “continue”. The desktop website keeps telling me to “refresh screen, session timed out” when I try to log in. I’ve deleted & reinstalled the app but I keep getting the same infuriating welcome message when I log in. No idea how I’m going to order refills or speak to my provider. I was super happy with hers but if I can’t get past this dumb welcome message, idk what I’m gonna do..Version: 3.49.0

I’m a newbieI just want to give a short review on the part that I’ve completed so far. I took the chance & reached out..that was the hardest step for me. But this app & the professionals affiliated with this app have been beyond kind & they are there to answer any question or concern I may have. Also their promptness is fantastic as well. They respond in no time. So my review so far (I’m waiting for my medication to arrive) I would have to give it a 10 out of 10 Not one time have I had any uneasy feeling or felt ignored or unimportant. Best decision I’ve ever made thus far! Thank you Hers! Look forward to see where this mental health journey takes me. Wendie.Version: 2.29.0

We are onto something hereSo you to tell me i don't have to go spend 5 hours at a doctor to tell them my symptoms have them not believe me and not give me the anxiety meds i want and give me some weird drug i don't even wanna take instead i can privately and discreetly get the meds i choose online and shipped to me.. we are on to something here. This is what women need easy access to anxiety and depression treatment without the hassle and embarrassment.. this seems scary to people cause its something never been done before but its not any worse than the way these doctors treat you !! This is saving my life honestly.Version: 4.26.0

Works, but be carefulI had a rocky experience. The doctors definitely prioritize quickly getting back to people over reading the whole history of the patient experience. I got shipped medicine I didn’t need. I had to continually repeat myself. I had a scary allergic reaction and it took a moment to get a serious response. However, I did lose weight. So, I would say you just need to be really vigilant about your own health. Some of the doctors you talk to are incredible and some feel like they are responding while they are doing five other things. Pay attention to your body. Pay attention to the side effects. This isn’t like normal healthcare. It has benefits, but, you do feel like you’re being passed around like a hot potato..Version: 4.43.0

Growing new hairThe claims for when and how this process works are spot on. My hair cleanse and regrowth happened just as was explained. I trusted the process and I found it to be accurate. Therefore I’m renewing my prescription. After years of constant hair loss after menopause I was getting very depressed as my hair is very curly and frizzy and losing it and it becoming so fine was depressing. I’m an executive and trying to maintain a professional look was getting harder and harder and taking more and more time. I can vouch my hair situation is turning around. Now I just have to stick to a healthy workout regimen..Version: 5.31.0

Please fix!Love the company and have multiple prescriptions through them however the app has been completely unusable for the past two weeks. I think there was one day where it was working but for the most part I just get a loading screen and nothing is able to be clicked just straight up frozen. I’ve tried refreshing the app and doing everything I can, my wifi is good so it’s definitely the app. I’ve been having to go on my laptop to access the website so I can contact my providers but it’s really annoying me not being able to use the app- especially for almost 2 weeks now! I thought their would be an update to fix it.Version: 4.38.0
