A good start but needs workHey guys, this is a great teaching tool for patients, but you need to update a few big things. 1) the CABG video needs to show 3V CABG not just two. 2) for the HF video you guys need a HFrEF video and HFpEF. 3) regardingThe TAVI video no one does transapical TAVI anymore. You need to update the video to reflect tramsfemoral approach. 4) the cardiac cath video needs to include a radial approach LHC. 5) their should be a cath video for right heart catheterization. 6). It would be awesome if you could make a teaching video for the following: LVAD, Impella, ECMO (V/V & A/V), & Cardiomems. Otherwise a solid platform.Garddog12Version: 3.8.3

Beautiful but not perfectThe app is beautiful and well-implemented for the most part. I am a pediatric cardiology fellow, and I think this app is very useful for explaining cardiac anatomy to patients. However, just as another reviewer has already mentioned, when you run the animation of the cardiac cycle, the atria and ventricles contract at the same time. This needs to be addressed. Also, this would be an utter home run if you increased the level of detail of the anatomy to the level of medical professionals. A cardiologist better know the anatomy to a level far greater than this app illustrates. Great app, but can you add animations like heart pro III has?I have the Heart Pro III app for the IPad and saw the new animations, which blew me away. The animation for angioplasty would save me tons of time when explaining the procedure to patients. I bought this app thinking it would have the same animations. My fault for not checking. AwesomeAfter purchasing this app i was in awe. The complexity and detailed display, along with the simplicity of its usage make it fun to learn. This would be the perfect app for a college student in an anatomy class. There are quizzes built in to the app so you can see your progress. CriticorThe quality of the images Is excellent. Unfortunately the animations of the cardiac cycle are seriously flawed. In the version I down loaded atrial and ventricular systole occur simultaneously in the animations rather than alternatively, as they should. The atria contract against closing AV valves. These flaws in the depiction of the cardiac cycle really render this app less than accurate. I've written about this before. But the same gesture (downward swipe) is used to produce a sagittal cross section and to rotate the heart for a superior view, so most of the time I can't get the sagittal cross section when I want it.
