I have used the dominos app for years now to order all kinds of food. Firstly, the rewards system is pretty balanced and has very solid rewards (say you order pizza 4x a month, the rewards system would let you essentially get a free monthly medium pizza; pretty great deal!). Secondly, the app is very user friendly and efficient. And finally, I wanted to add a recent experience I had that really impressed me. I ordered an oven baked sandwich and cinnamon twists from Dominos, which I have done plenty before and the food is always great. However this time the cinnamon twists were oddly small, dried out, and barely had any cinnamon sugar on them. It was disappointing for sure, but thats where Dominos impressed me. I reported an issue with my order and briefly described the issue, and rather than getting a big run around to get a partial refund or store credit, they resolved my issue on the spot; they provided 60 points in rewards for me to use within 90 days! Which gave me the ability to select a FREE reward from a good selection of items. I got a free pizza with the reward which definitely made me forget about the cinnamon twist issue. I tipped a little extra and got some bread bites just to show my thanks as the customer receiving very solid support over an issue with my previous order. Overall, I highly recommend this app; and Dominos in general for big pizza kitchen food lovers!
I used the App today to order food. My family orders from Dominos at least twice a month, so we have a history of orders. Today while using the app, I noticed it wasn’t as buggy as in the past. It offered me a choice to start a new order or request food from a past order. I chose to use a previous order and even modified a couple of the items without a hitch. I then put my payment information in since I had a new card. The scanner didn’t work for me, so I manually inputted the information . Then I looked around the pages, current and previous page, to put a Time Order in. All there was is a box for delivery instructions, so I asked that my order be delivered later tonight. I placed the order and thought all was fine. In about 15 minutes the local store calls me to tell me they didn’t see my request until after the pizzas were cooked. I explained to the employee that there was no choice available for me to indicate a timed delivery. I was told there was and sure enough if you place an order without using a past order the question for delivery will pop up. The choice is not there for retuning customers who use prior orders to place a new order. This needs to be fixed because as a customer the option to use a prior order saves time and I’m all about that. I use to work in the pizza business and know that timed orders generally get priority and are convenient to place at non-peak times. So, Domino’s App developer, please fix this error! Thank you!
Sometimes when I’m alone I think about a lot in life. The main thing that comes to question is “what’s for dinner?” And often times it’s something ridiculous like a microwaved meal or something out of a can or a home cooked meal. On this very special day in the spring the answer was “pizza!” So I whipped out my apple iPhone 12 Pro Max (apple is no way sponsoring this review. They should but they aren’t.) and opened the dominoes app. I wasn’t going to settle for some cardboard abomination like Pizza Hut nor was I going to get something gourmet like Godfather’s, I had to have something that was just above mediocre and that’s when I settled on two large pizzas. I sent in the order and eagerly awaited. A little over 30 minutes later and there it was a blue sedan with the domino on the roof and a man ready to hand over the pie. He followed directions to the letter and rang my doorbell after setting the two boxes holding my ‘za on the front step. Yeah here it was. The dinner I needed but didn’t deserve. I’m after watching the delivery driver accomplish his quest and drive away I opened the door and knelt down to retrieve my prize. After taking the boxes in from the dreary weather I placed them on the counter for all to see and admire. I propped open the kids and behold! Two pizzas exactly how I ordered them. Round, and with toppings of my choosing. Thanks America for this blessing. Had it never been for that horse I’d still be in college! Fin.
Being able to look at the menu and order online makes things so much easier. I babysit 3 kids at a time and when I order pizza it’s hard to pay attention to them or for whoever I talk to on the phone hear me. The app itself is organized and shows prices and coupons while you look through the menu. The food is also very good if you are one that gets full quickly. There is a huge selection of food to choose from and there is always a good coupon to use (my favorite is the 5.99 deal because the kids can get a pizza with 2 toppings they want. And then I can get either brownies for them or if I want a sandwich or salad instead of pizza I can get them- and it’s a short price considered what I could pay at other pizza places). Another thing that is beneficial is how I don’t have to stand by the door guessing the time they will be here. Instead they let me know when they left the store and the store is 10 min away so I know they will be here within 15 min. So I’ll stay by the door for like 5 min instead of the whole 25-30 minutes. The app is very beneficial and helpful. So I def recommend this app, especially for my friends at a party or when babysitting
Don’t get me wrong, I order pizza from this Domino’s app all of the time for my family sometimes on the weekends. Pizza never disappoints! And I never had problems with this app until recently though. Every time I enter the app, it always wants me to re-login. Which I thought that is why I have this app so I wouldn’t have to do that over and over again. Like I said, this wasn’t an occurring problem until now. Also I have had some problems where I had to completely restart my order because of the app not cooperating, right. For example I’m getting my order ready and then out of nowhere it will pop up with a message on my screen saying something like “This is embarrassing we can’t enroll you right now!” whatever that’s supposed to mean because I’m already signed in.. Even after it says something like that, I will go to doublecheck to make sure I am signed in. But to me that’s just weird, because why would that just pop up out of nowhere while I’m in the middle of making my order? I thought I should throw this out there because all of these reasons are an inconvenience to trying to make an order on time. it’s kind of like a game of roulette like “is this app going to work today or is it not going to work and take up too much time?” Thank you for reading.

I have been impressed by the low cost, ordering ease, speed of delivery & quality of pizza, even gluten-free option, and the ease of ordering using the app. Not the pizza I used to know but so much better especially considering the price and low cost delivery compared to other franchises & restaurants. I only wish Domino’s would ease up on obviously challenged store owners trying to meet the brand name’s guarantees almost impossible to deliver in the time promised especially in a large congested city like ours. Getting notifications that our order has been delivered, when not yet true, in order to satisfy brand name agenda’s & quality measures, does not serve the many possible customers in a large city at the prices allowed for the store owners, especially when adding staffing problems in our country to the ‘mix’. Ease off of the owners allowing them to serve their customers truthfully as best they can in this economy & US employee market! I am thankful for an affordable pizza option to the almost $30 (&higher cost) of ordering elsewhere taking longer delivery times preventing me from enjoying pizza unless i can pickup.
I love the food and the app is a great help but I wish there was an option for pasta/ bread bowls, pizzas, bread knots, wings, etc. to have the options of garlic or no garlic. I rarely get the bread bowls because I have a garlic intolerance I’m not allergic but it’s very very painful after eating it. I don’t like having to place an order only to realize too late I have to call the store and ask them not to. I don’t normally complain about anything with the food I really love it but it’s very awkward and inconvenient to have to call just to avoid a mishap. I feel really bad about it because a lot of the people that work at Dominos are really hard workers and the branch we order from are some of the most kindest, hardworking, genuinely care about the customers and take pride in doing things right. A lot of people who work in the food industry do care about their customers or their work of their job and I feel that a lot go under appreciated. Thank you for making the app to make it easier to order and thank you to the workers for all your hard work. Especially during the pandemic.
These ppl that made the pizza they be mean whenever you tell them you have it all the way burned order a pasta they talking about we don’t see you order pasta like dude sometimes your point don’t even show up on the system n I don’t care I just want my food cook right. I used to work at dominoes so I know ppl played around in there n the boss would like them then they look at the food n don’t want to admit they have it burnt You ask them to remake it n they get upset. I don’t know why they don’t buy the products, they just make the stuff so we can order. Oh then the system they took money off my card it took me a whole month to get it back n everyone gave me a problem 😕 I called up there “Ma’am I don’t see you order it didn’t pop up in the system” a girl with an attitude n I’m looking at my bank and I can clearly see they took my money took me an whole month cause they said I had to wait til I can get it back. So they have time where it just bad tbh it would be nice for corporate to actually answer the phone when I called or something they food good just this site in general isn’t
I’ll tell you how; You want a delivery driver that’s willing to battle the unstable elements of blistering winds and sheer cold late at night against terrible drivers that impede their journey to deliver said treasure politely and elegantly at your door without breaking so much as a sweat to save your relationship when your significant other complains there’s nothing to eat since you couldn’t get the groceries and all the stores are closed? Yes you do. You DO want the blessings of humanity to ring your doorbell and support your relationship like Atlas holds up the world on his rippling shoulders all the while enjoying the very pizza you ordered in a cozy warm living room while the champions that brought upon a new form of nirvana accept your shillings and tip their cap looking over their shoulder dramatically in the night like Ryan Gosling in ‘Drive’; KNOWING FULL WELL that they are the real heroes and live a life of danger and unprecedented hazards that live on the edge like a 1970s action flick with unnecessary explosions because not all heroes wear capes but all heroes have a uniforms. I PROPOSE A TOAST! TO THE TRUE CHAMPIONS OF FLAVOR ! HUZZAH BRAVE WINNERS! HUZZAH!! - A pleased Customer
The app works wonderfully most of the time. Customizing an order is very easy, and saving favorites (orders, locations, payment options) is easy. Weirdly, there doesn’t seem to be an option to remove locations or payment options. The tracker is usually accurate, and you can use coupons easily on it, too. Despite what other reviews say, you CAN modify your tip—it’s just on the screen after your checkout page. It defaults to $0 when you redeem a free pizza, but otherwise I think tends to default to 20%. However, for the past couple of years, no matter what you do, you cannot log in using an established password. Every single time I want to use the app, I have to send a password reset to my email, reset the password to something else (because it won’t let me use an old password), and only THEN can I log in to the app with the new password—which will then again fail to be recognized the next time I use the app. This has happened to me so often that I just expect it every time now, but I’ll still try to use my password on the app first, just in case it got fixed.
I have been a customer of this particular location for many years…more than 20 - so it’s no small thing when I say that, without question, I have never had an issue with my pizza. They are always fresh, perfectly made to my specification and not just ontime, but early! Always the best tasting pizza exactly when they promise to deliver - never, EVER LATE. And delivery is also excellent. The delivery people are always top-notch, following my instructions, occasionally very specific, but they never miss. They always leave it in the spot I ask and they can always be trusted to tip themselves exactly what I ask them to. That is trust and responsibility! If I had one request, it would be that they make double sure not to forget my 2-liters. Sometimes this has happened, but even though it does, they always come right back with my Pepsi…and sometimes with a dessert for free as a customer service beyond to make up. That’s my Dominos! Keep up the great work, ya’ll! I will never order from another place…
Now as I'm sure many of us know, Dominos used to have a rap for being "cheap and inauthentic" pizza. As someone who orders Dominos a lot, I agree, it was definitely nothing compared to now. In my past 12 orders, I have received extremely great customer service, expedition of delivery, great deals, and AMAZING food. I regularly tell people to order from them more, no matter what their opinion of what their last experience might've been. Dominos to me, is a leader and example of how a business should progress in the 21st century. Everything that Dominos has done in the recent decade has been a groundbreaking improvement for the company. I only order from Dominos and will continue to until the day I die. I love you Dominos. Thank-you. Side note: the app is awesome. They keep you 100% updated the entire way through the order and very happy, friendly reminders from the employees when they're on their way and outside. Update: I've probably made around 40-50 orders in the past year using the app. Absolutely still the best way to get the best pizza!
This app is snappy, easy to use, and highly functional compared to other “fast food” apps. The dev team did a great job. A couple suggestions for improvements: For carside pickups (mandatory in my neck of the woods during Covid), it would be nice if we had the option to have our car’s details (color, make, model etc) saved. I have to re-enter the details each time...not convenient. Same goes for delivery instructions...let us save them for next time. Rewards: they should be point-based for each dollar spent...not just 10 points for spending any amount over $10 points. $10 order? 10 points. $40 order: 10 points. What’s the incentive to order more?. If I’m spending $20, I should get 20 points, not 10. Now, I just create two orders if the pizzas are $11-12 each. Do whatever math you need to, to make rewards make sense, but don’t incentivize splitting orders up...it’s inconvenient for us and sometimes confusing for your staff. Also, a visual graph indicating our point standing would be nice.
Every time we see an ad on TV from Dominos the toppings are amazingly an abundance on the pizza. And when I get my pizza I’ll get maybe a handful of Topping! It’s pretty sad that you see more cheese than Topping. I know black olives come in a can. They can’t be that expensive just to throw a half a handful on them be generous! You know we all don’t just like cheese we want toppings pepperoni bacon sausage black olives onions peppers and etc. I’ve gotten the pepperoni lovers. It looks just like a regular pepperoni pizza! So I feel like I’ve been wasting money just ordering the specialty pizzas. If they don’t put enough toppings on it to even matter. So I save money by not even bothering to place the orders for the specialties. If you guys please could work on this I’d greatly appreciate it. I’ve ordered pizzas throughout the years here and it’s only been a handful where they’ve been really good. I’m not a picky person but when your boyfriend says don’t go back there. Did their pizza is not worth the price. It’s not a good sign when you order five pizzas in the more.
We’ve lived in the Lent’s area of Portland Oregon for the better part of about 40 years now. We’ve ordered Dominos about once a month for the majority of the past about 10 years. Our home store is the one near Eastport Plaza. Until recently there’s always seemed to have been something wrong with our order; wrong order, wrong toppings, items missing (like bread bites or soda.) we’re ordering again tonight because the last couple of months we’ve had incredibly great experiences! Nothing has been wrong and everything has been even better great! (I should also mention this is not only for delivery, but occasional carry out as well) Not sure if there’s a new manager, or a different crew (I do notice there’s usually someone training on something, so I’m guessing there may be a bit of quick turnover as is the case with most fast food type stores) Anyway! Whosever running things for the better there please keep on doing what you’re doing because it’s definitely working! Thanks
I have not ordered Domino’s for years because the product was no better than grocery store frozen pizza. I needed a pepperoni pizza for kids, and I decided to order one of the new pan pizzas for me. When I picked up the pizzas and opened the first box, I was so surprised by the appearance of the product. It was smoking hot, the pepperoni was crisp and sizzling, and the hand tossed crust was blistered, crackly and perfectly, very slightly, charred. It was magnificent! I opened my pan pizza (sausage, jalapeños, diced tomatoes, and onions). It was equally fantastic. A bit of the cheese, just the right amount, was all the way to the edges of the crust creating that yummy, chewy, crispy edge that is so addictive. Dominoes, I salute you. You figured out pizza is supposed to be amazing, and that is what you are selling now. I am back; I’m a Dominoes customer and even a fan now. If you have not tried Dominoes lately, roll the dice. You can afford six dollars. That’s all it takes (with the coupon) to get a pizza. No other pizza company is providing the value Dominoes does at the moment.
My last two deliveries was absolutely horrible. The app would say this person has left the store at this time but I wouldn’t get My pizzas until an hour later when it’s in between warm and cold. Three months ago was the worst where it took them 3 hours to get my pizzas delivered in two separate deliveries...I don’t know why I couldn’t get them in one delivery when I only put in one order. On that note one of the pizzas was wrong. I complained only to feel like I was being shrugged off to an excuse of “ we’re really busy on saturdays”. If that is so then hire some more people to work Saturday’s and give me my pizza in a timely manner! On top of that not all pizzas are consistent with one another in taste and quality. The first time I had break sticks here, it was absolutely amazing! Then the last two times it was mediocre so I never get them anymore. Sometimes there’s just enough sauce which is amazing and then other times the sauce is overflowing the pizza as if I ordered extra extra sauce and then there are times where I have to question myself whether or not they forgot the sauce.
I live in Seminole woods in Palm Coast, Florida. They are hands down THEE BEST IN THE STATE. And I never worked there, lol nor do I know anyone who does. But they are soooo clean. So efficient. Fast and prompt. Always courteous. I can’t say enough about them. I’m just glad they are in my delivery zone!!!! Hahahahah! P.S. tip ur drivers people. These guys u trust with ur food. So they trust u will help them make minimum wage with tips. I was surprised to find out tips are their primary income. They really don’t get an hourly wage. Again.....I’m a nurse. I’m not an owner of this restaurant and I honestly don’t know anyone who works there. I order frequently a few times a month but never caught names. It’s usually delivery. And always a different person at my house answering the door and a different delivery person. I just really feel credit should be given where it is deserved. They have never ceased to NOT impress me. And for me to leave a review is ....well let’s just say this was my first time. 👍👍👍👍👍. 👌👌👌👌👌. 💯💯💯💯💯 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
This app is a mess. Every single time I try to order, I run into glitches that make the process way harder than it needs to be. The worst part is trying to use online-only deals — the app constantly errors out, and then it tells me to call the store if the problem persists. But the store can’t apply online-only deals. So what exactly am I supposed to do? If you’re going to make deals exclusive to the app, the app actually needs to work. Fix the glitches or stop locking deals behind a broken interface. It’s frustrating, it wastes time, and it’s pushed me to consider ordering elsewhere more than once. Also — charging per topping is ridiculous and needs to change. It’s an unfair way to gouge money from customers, especially on top of an app experience that already makes it hard to access the deals that would offset those costs. Reasonable, transparent topping pricing would go a long way.
I was a customer years ago and the pizza quality and service was awful. Within the past two years of using this app, Domino’s has gained our family’s loyalty. We order weekly from them and sometimes when the weather is terrible. This app makes this working mom’s life so much easier. I can order from work, and not have to worry if they got the food or not. The app alerts you every step of the way in the ordering to the delivery. I can even order for a set delivery time to my office for our lunch meetings. If I am out of town and my family members need to order food they can just log on and pull up a previous order. The drivers are always on time and know how to navigate my family’s wild country driveway. They are awesome! The pizza, deserts, subs, and wings are always perfect. And don’t get me started on their prices... they exceed my expectations. If there is every anything missing or wrong, they make it double right. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could.
So online ordering was down i went through putting everything in my cart and when it came time to check out it wouldn’t load my total but I know my total was 25 at the mostest. So anyway I’m forced to call the store I tell the girl my order she says total is 47 dollars and some change okay how did my order jump up like twenty dollars. I keep repeating at least three times my order and getting a great deal. She tells me no what did I want I tell her my Oder again and tell her I don’t want to pay anymore than 25 for my meal because my coupons totaled that. So she tells me just a medium one topping pizza will be 25 dollars I was going to order it but I said okay let me hang up cause she is really trying to milk me out of more money. I hang up go back to the app and try again and I get everything I initially wanted for geuss what ...24 dollars. I feel soo played but I still ordered my meal cause I’m hungry but definitely wanted to share my night with dominoes
I liked the changes but this is what I had a problem with 1. I signed in to place my order & choose my store & before I could place the order I had to sign in again so they would know who I was 2. I chose 2 items one of which had a coupon the other did not so when it app shows your order it looks like there was 1 pizza & 2 cinnamon twist. So I took off a cinnamon twist once I did that I had only a pizza which was not what I wanted. I wanted a pizza & a cinnamon bread. Too confusing 3. Toppings was confusing also I touched cheese & it has pizza cut in half the cheese area didn't do anything but once I touched the pizza it was not going to put cheese on pizza. It says cheese is on pizza automatically & I think the sauce is the same way. I had to choose the pizza crust I assumed I would choose everything on it....not so ...I guess. 4. This has irked me from the first pizza I ordered to this day. It says you can put in your order now or in increments of an hour later..why can't I put my order in 15 mins. later. I don't want it to be cold because I live six miles out of town. So my option is now or in 1 hour, so I get it home cold or I have to wait 45 minutes for the pizza so I can get it home warm. My time is important to. It really doesn't impact your cooking schedule but I would appreciate being able to submit my order in 15 minute increments. I was really excited to see all the new stuff on the new app & it looks like it will be great once I get used to it.
This is easily one of the most well coded ordering apps I’ve seen on the App Store, everything is fluid and works well. It has an intuitive interface and is easy to use, my grandmother could probably use this without any trouble. However, there are a few things to be said about the tracker and gift card application. When I tried to checkout using my gift card, after verifying several times that the information I inputted was correct, the system would spit out an error that there was something wrong with my card. After doing 5-6 captchas I finally got it to work, and I was sent to complete my order. However after that, the pizza tracker was behaving rather erroneously, it would jump around and even move backwards from Delivery to Quality Check, this happened several times. Other then those two rather minor issues though, I had a very positive experience with this app! I’d recommend to anyone ordering from dominoes on mobile, very nice to use. Your app developers are doing their job well.
When it works it’s great. But then there are days like today. I kept trying to sign into my account. I kept getting “network error “. Finally, I got into my account. Went to coupons, there was a coupon for 50% off all menu items. I clicked on it, added my pizzas, went to checkout. The coupon magically changed to 20% off! It also did this a couple of weeks ago when it was even on TV about the 50% off. I called in, the person said that was an online only coupon. I know, but it changed the coupon and wouldn’t process the order either. The store gave me the same response that it was online only and they wouldn’t honor it. Finally found a coupon that gave me about 40% off and it let me send the order. We have to have gluten free so most coupons don’t apply and they end up very expensive, like $17-19 apiece! Plus I have quite a few “free” pizzas but they don’t apply to gluten free crusts!
I love dominos I grew up on it just like with Pizza Hut but man I order dominos las week on Wednesday one of the worst experience ever the food was warm not hot and I live only 5-3 mins away I order a Caesar salad with a cup of ranch right ok finished ordering but the app crashed right then! So I call the store to check someone picks up I’m explaining i was so rudely cut off mid sentence he asks me my address I tell him he tells me yeah we got the order in and we don’t have the salad I was pressured to talk I said so let me have more wings I could of order another pizza but no I get my order home pizza it’s just barely warm the wings barely had any bbq when I orded a cup of extra bbq with the first order nop barely 👎🏻 I never got the bbq I paid for I got blue cheese instead and the ranch that was for the salad that was supposed to be canceled with it and it’s so expensive I was extremely dissatisfied disappointed I didn’t called right away because I was hangry!!! 😤😭😩😡🤨
We are here on vacation and my grandkids wanted pizza. So I looked up the number to Dominos and I was moved 3 times to 2 different stores. I finally was upset after being moved around for 45 minutes. Spoke to a VERT RUDE worker who called herself a manager named Jessica. If she worked for me I would have to let her go as she didn’t care if I got pizza for my family. I then ask for her manager and was told very worker there was a manager except drivers. I was very upset because she told me she couldn’t and wouldn’t help me place my order. I needed to order online so they would know who’s store delivers to the hotel we are staying at. I own a business for 31 years and is a delivery company I would never speak or allow any of my workers to speak to my customers the way Jessica spoke to me. I will call her owner of that store tomorrow and have a few words with Manny as she told me that was her manager. I love the app so I never have to deal with a RUDE PERSON LIKE JESSICA AGAIN WHEN I AM ORDERING MY PIZZA.
Domino's Pizza USA Negative Reviews and Ratings
I order from Dominos fairly often and it’s usually a seamless experience. Love the tracker and the deals are hard to pass up for pizza that competes with more expensive chains. One recent issue I’ve experienced with the app, however, is it kicks out my request for square cut and well done, which is how I’ve been ordering my pizza pretty much exclusively for a long time. Once could be me; twice, I can be absent minded sometimes; three times, that’s suspicious, and tonight four times when I know I made sure I clicked those two options, and it doesn’t even show up on my order. I wish there were a method to look up my previous order. I can track the order I picked up, but where is the detailed list of orders I’ve made? Update: the new format was unnecessary, but okay. I am now convinced it does not forward my requests for square cut and well done pizza, which if it continues to be a consistent issue I will just stop ordering. Customer service has gone way downhill, I feel like. The old version used to ask if I had any issues with my order. Now it’s just…call your store. You know full well complaints are going to plummet because people aren’t going to want to do that. Slick. Granted, this was years ago, but I once simply stated my chicken bites were soggy on the app when it asked and someone called me the next day…actually called and asked me questions about my order and how it was boxed, and sent me coupons for free lava cakes. That was impressive to me. Lately, not so much.
I left my original review from when this app first came out. Now they’ve “updated” it a couple of times. There was a point in time I completely STOPPED ordering from dominos on pizza I order on the any 2 for $5.99ea and it was like $11+. It was two toppings pan/deep dish pizza I could under stand it being 50¢ to $1 more for the crust but that’s crazy! Now they fixed that but here’s a helpful suggestion so you Customers can order in a more informed way. I understand some toppings cost more so way don’t you put a “*” or something next to the ones that cost more so if someone want to order just the $5.99 they can with out completing their order and having to go back a guess which ones don’t cost more. Love Love Love this app! It's easy quick and a super simple layout please don't change anything about the app!!! My only bad thing is the way your Fairfield Ca store uses the system. I bugs me that I get notified that the driver has left the store with my order 20min later I'm notified that my order has been delivered... sounds great but 20 mins late I don't have my pizzas! They notified that my pizzas has left the store and an hour later I actually get my pizzas! I work retail I get the pressure that corporate will send down to push out order faster It didn't bother me so much that I had to wait and hour for my pizzas, it was that I was notified that my pizzas were at my house when they weren't and when the did get here they weren't hot they were warm. But other than that I love the app!!
This application is very difficult to use and dominos falsely advertises promotions to entice you to use it. First off the application makes it very difficult for you to search for a dominos place near you by 1. Not allowing you to search by address (even if you copy and past the exact address from google or Apple Maps for your local dominos) and 2. Not letting you search a map from within the app of your local dominos since you can’t search by address. These are both simple functions that every other fast food apps have within them (just look at chipotle) Second the application makes it exceedingly difficult to enter your credit card information with popups and the false indication that you can simply take a picture of your CC and it will automatically populate your information into the payment. Spoiler alert it does not work and never takes the picture and they just gain access to your camera to sit there doing nothing, doesn’t even give you the option to snap the photo yourself. Building on the false advertising they claim that they’ll do “carry out in 2 minutes or your pizza is free” however this is not the case as their employees simply hit the button to stop your two minute clock and then leave you waiting for 10 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the store and there is no way to complain or raise this issue to the company. Overall this is a bad app with poor user interface and experience that falsely advertises dominos services and promotions such as swift pizza carry out or easy cC entry. It’s a shame because other than this I love dominos.
I can imagine a few benefits from skipping out on building. Native app, but, it’s also all divided by a the cost of doing anything new, so I’m sure it makes less tsetse for profit people than product people. However, this app is garbage: even if the error codes have the exact same message as on the web (which isn’t hard for a native app to do). The hierarchy for actions is absurd. When I’m in the menu, I can’t see what’s in my cart, or my order totally until I’ve added an item to the menu or closed the menu. Further, when you modify a pizza (I suppose it’s possible domino’s executives only eat the specialty pizzas) the price of the item you’re about to add to your order isn’t displayed. If you have 20 cash and want to maximize your pizza toppings, you might be adding something to the cart and removing it till you get it right for a long time, depending on user intelligence towards domino’s menu pricing. Bad app. It got an additional star because everything fit on screen and the branding was consistent with the average-at-best domino’s website. But that 2 should be compared with the 3 star’s missing for not valuing the user experience as an outcome of corporate value. (FYI, I couldn’t see the text as I was typing this, Apple that’s a problem u should look into. iPhone 6s Plus)
EDIT: I have 3 free pizzas I can’t redeem now. I called the store and they told me to call corporate. I called corporate and they told me to call the store. The customer service for resolving this issue is TERRIBLE. Dropping this to one star because I’ve tried to get this resolved literally for two months now, with no resolution at all. —————— Overall, I really like the application. It has some really great features that many other restaurant applications do not have. The one huge flaw in this is that the coupons very often do not work. Many times over the past year of using this application, I have gotten the message that the coupon is invalid and it has to be removed. I’ve used the application quite a lot and recently this has been happening more and more. I have built up my rewards to earn the free pizza, but that is one of the coupons that is invalid. In fact, I can’t redeem the free pizza. If that’s the case, what’s the point of even using the app? When I called corporate, they told me it’s the store’s responsibility that I need to call my local store. When I talked to the local store, they told me it was corporate’s responsibility to call corporate. Like I said, overall, I have been mainly pleased with the application, but the coupon functionality definitely needs work.
Where do I start? At first the app was fine, got my order, didn’t leave much an info trail as far as personal goes, and I’m GLAD I DIDNT! Thinking my account may have been hacked because I checked it after a bit, and there’s a random address input in there (that, by the way, I never even been to before in my life). Also can’t log back in, as if the password was changed, I tried and tried to get in. So what do I do? Call customer support right? Yeah, well that was a whole other run-around, that honestly, I don’t time for, nor the patience to deal with.. basically you call that number for Dominos customer Support and you get A ROBOT, exactly the things we prefer to avoid all together. Tried to tell it ‘representative’ it don’t listen to a thing you say.. and I pressed 2, to try to get a representative, well, little did I know, it was going to make me TYPE my last name USING NUMBERS like a D pad on an old flip phone, and I got a smart phone over here like… uh??? It’s been YEARS since I’ve typed that way (since I had a flip phone in 2010). So I tried, but to no avail, robot did not understand a thing. I tried other options on the first robot and honestly, it’s robot after robot.. and they’re not well developed so had to order on the phone directly, the old fashioned way.. ugh.. 🤷♀️
Just trying to make an order and once again there was an update. Well, unfortunately after the update it’s just a constant loading screen. No menu, no deals, no nothing. Not to mention every update it gets worse. Last time that i was actually able to order it still took so much longer than before. You couldnt see anything because you had to constantly scroll. You couldn’t see prices of anything. Not to mention the nausiating video that plays on the app in the background when you open it. Makes my nausea and seizure like events kick up. At least theres a pause button for that but it would be better to have an option to stop autoplay of media. I realize you apparently lost a lawsuit for not being easily access for ada but the updates you’ve made since then has made it harder to access (and now completely) at all for everyone. Not like we can call the store to order either because we’ll just get met with an ai bot instead of a human which instantly makes you hang up the phone in rage and order from someone - literally anyone else who doesn’t ruin things with downgrades called updates or ruin things with ai bs. I’m so annoyed. But my health will be better now that i don’t get to order dominos again from a broken app.
I have had countless occasions in which they have not been able to deliver any pizza at all(at least three times) and two other times that they have cancelled my order without even notifying me, leaving me waiting for someone who is not coming after all. This is easily the worst location I have ever dealt with on any level. I do not blame this on the employees actually there at the time, rather I think management and corporate need to rethink they’re hiring tactics, employee wages, and overall effort to reduce employee turnover and lack of quality service. It seems the employees who are constantly working their butts off are left with no cushion nor support to make this store better and more efficient overall. With a few small tweaks to things like pay, hiring, and management, i think this store could be successful, but as it is now, they simply can not accomplish anything whatsoever it seems. I’m sorry to those of you who are diligent employees, and only get horrible treatment and support in return. This failure falls on management and corporate; get more and competent employees to actually WANT to work for a company, then treat them in such a way that encourages productivity and efficiency of their own accord. It’s really not hard, just treat your employees better, and learn to run a pizza delivery service. It’s honestly not as hard as corporate and management arenas have been making it. Best of luck to the employees that continue to keep this store barely on its feet, and I can only hope that those with the power to do so, will care enough to bring much needed change to a failing and totally unproductive location/store.
I wish you had more options with some of items on the app. For instance, within the app, you can’t order extra fettuccine sauce on your pasta or order anything else in the pasta from the app. You can’t even get cheese on the fettuccine anymore! NOT EVEN WHEN YOU CALL. I was told that they don’t do that now. I asked if he was serious- he said yes. Salads are now prepackaged & they are NOT very fresh; plus you can’t customize those either. Looks like there are only 2 dressing choices now? Oil & Vinegar or Ranch are the only option when ordering a garden salad but I went into the side sauces & there was Caesar dressing there but that’s it. Also, where are the prices??? You can’t see those until the end. I, just like many, many other reviewers, am very disappointed with the way the app, & presumably the entire menu, has been downsized, limited, & made unnecessarily difficult. I don’t think I’ll be ordering moving forward. Maybe I’ll reconsider if you fix this nonsense- not just in the app but when you call the store. There’s no reason to say I can’t have cheese in my pasta- just charge me whatever the topping costs & let me order when I would like to eat please.
I normally order dominoes once or twice a week, and 99% of the time the app works perfectly fine but whenever I try to redeem my free pizza the app suddenly wants to crash. I try to redeem it and it gets added to my cart, but when I go to add something else:crash. If I add the other items first and then try to redeem it when I hit redeem I get the loading wheel and: crash. And another thing I sort of have an issue with is you have to order 6 times to even get the free pizza and each order has to be at least 10$ but it doesn’t matter if you spend 100$ or 10$ you still only get 10 points per order this doesn’t really seem like a fair rate because you need 60 points to redeem a free pizza. If person A orders 6 times and each order is 10$, they will have spent 60$ to get a free pizza. Person B orders 6 times but each order is 40$ they will have spent 240$ to get the same free pizza person A only spend 60$ to get. Im not saying you should get 10 points for every 10$ (although that would be the best ratio to use.) but at least 10 points every 20$ you spend after the initial 10$.
I can’t believe a company would make it so hard to give them money. I spent over 30 mins or more trying to place an order on my iPad, where if you go to review your order you can’t go back and add anything else unless you want what they suggest, or you delete your whole order and start from scratch. That still wouldn’t have taken so long to place the order tho, but I was using a coupon they had, but my total was coming out way more than it should have. It took me a while to figure out that some crusts and toppings were causing my price to go up because they were more costly ingredients. The problem is no where on the list of ingredients does it let you know which ones cost extra and which don’t, it’s just one list of ingredients and if you choose ingredients based on the coupons guidelines and the price comes out to high then you are left confused as you get no information as to why. So after starting from scratch a few times since I can’t just go back to the main menu, I finally figured out what was raising the price so high. This app needs work, the ceo should try and use it, get to checkout and then try and go back to add something else and he’d quickly fire whoever made this app.
I have been ordering Domino’s Pizza for 25 years and not once have I ever been able to complete a single order with their app either on iPhone or iPad. I try about once a year to see if it’s still garbage and sure enough it is every time. How do you not support Apple Pay on Apple devices in 2025. Who are you expecting to manually type in credit card information in 2025. When are you going to stop paying for paid reviews for your garbage app? Why do you offer Apple Pay and PayPal and even Venmo on your website but not in your app? Why do you always tell me that the payment method that has been valid for 25 years that I’ve been using for 25 years and can still use on your website is an invalid payment method when I use it in your app? Additionally the app is hostile toward VPN users and if you try to login using the VPN app, it will tell you that you have tried to login too many times and that if you have a valid account, they will send you a link to unlock your account. This is a lie of course it is just a generic error message because their system does not know a way to say #### off if you’re on a VPN. In addition to the app being garbage every app that is hostile toward VPN users automatically gets one star until that is fixed.
I’m only 20 minutes away from a location and due to car problems I can’t pick up my food. So already being upset about my vehicle I search for a comfort food of mine; one of the staples for me is dominos pizza with some of their sauces. I begin creating and thinking about my order when I log in. Everything is normal til I enter my address only to be told “sorry; there is no delivery in your area.” I can’t place a pizza pin, I can’t even pay the driver a little extra despite only being 20 minutes away. I get it I’m not WITHIN the city but still it’s a little ridiculous to offer delivery; offer an app to access said delivery only to be told it’s not an option and not given any further details as to why. Frustrating and having wanted the food I was going to order am now heavily dissapointed and saddened. You guys have always been my favorite and I go the extra mile for dominos quality every time. But this actually hurt me. The hunger pains of having been able to look at your food and not order it for myself because of my car problems is hurtful. After 8 years of being a loyal customer coming in anytime I wanted amazing hand tossed pizza, and usually for a really good price. Thanks dominos for the first time you’ve actually ruined my day.
This app is deceptively convenient, it even has an “order tracker.” That is, until you realize that you have no idea if the location you’re ordering from is slammed or any sort of indicator of when your order will be ready/delivered (they just tell you when a milestone happens for your order, no timeframe for actually meeting those milestones). I have experienced multiple surprise 3+ hours waits using this app. And if the location you’re ordering from decides not to answer their phone (either because they’re just that busy or they don’t want to deal with what they assume will be an upset customer), like mine did tonight, you’ll have no way to know how bad of a wait you’re in for without driving over in person (which feels excessive to me). I literally ordered at 7:33pm and it’s 11:22pm now, zero pizza to show. I don’t blame the people working there for being understaffed and overbooked, but I do blame the app for not giving an option for warning you if a place is slammed, or just not allowing past a certain number of orders. Even just changing it so that you can see what the milestone etas are could do a better job of stopping people from ordering when they clearly can’t deliver.
So I’ve been using this app for a while and I usually get my handmade pan pizza with the $8 coupon. That was a total steal, but it’s gone now and has been for a while so I stopped using the app for a while. Then I heard about the 50% off online coupon through Snapchat and I thought “oh cool, I could go for some pizza right now”. So when I login to my old account and tried to apply the coupon, it would not work. It keeps saying “COUPON NOT AVAILABLE. THIS COUPON IS TIME SENSITIVE AND CANNOT BE ADDED TO YOUR ORDER AT THIS TIME” I checked the expiration date on the coupon and it should be valid through March 20 through 26. Today is March 22 so it hasn’t expired yet. What’s up with that?? First you take away all the best coupons and now we can’t even save some money over a time sensitive coupon that hasn’t even expired yet??? This app was my go to when I really wanted some quick pizza. Now everything is over prized and it seems like this app has got bugs. I’m really tired of Little Caesar’s bland pizza, but it seems like I’ll have to go there now. If someone could look into this problem then that would be great…
I order a A LOT of Domino’s, and part of the reason I’ve remained loyal has been the rewards. With one of these recent updates however it has stopped crediting me entirely. I noticed last week that my reward points were lower than expected, but now after my most recent order and reviewing the orders I received credit for there are multiple missing. Furthermore there is no way to recover the rewards number & earn credit for these previous orders unless I have the physical box the pizza came in still in the fridge or trash, because I order & pay through the app, and I’m not emailed a rewards number with my receipt because I’m supposed to be signed-up and receiving those credits automatically. Luckily I was able to recover credit for one order this way, but the others appear to be irredeemable and there’s nowhere to look for more info. I’m very upset and disappointed, because I’ve ordered Domino’s at least once a week for the last 5 years and with my daughter and I order many many pizzas for the summer camp I manage every year. Having this happen multiple times over the last 4 weeks shows it’s systemic- whether a glitch or not- and Dominos is going to lose my business going forward.
Simple stuff, hard. Hard to find tab to add extra cheese. App stuck in order pizza screen; after ordering pizza, i clicked on add items tab, which took me back to the order pizza screen. No button to exit pizza order screen, not even a home button tab, have to click on actually ordering pizza. Either way you don’t leave the order pizza screen as it will take you back again to pizza order screen. App showed coupons, you get excited, i like that coupon, you click on coupon then it says coupon not available. After order and deleting coupons and pizza multiple times, and close app and reopening it finely the coupon worked…when opening app and selecting default delivery address, error message pops up, no store delivers to that address, even thought they have delivered several times, select the address second time it accepted the address, but then i had to close the app do to the aforementioned app ordering issue, and when i reopen the app, i get the same error message no store delivers to that address, to which i had to reselect the address and it worked…..this app is going to cause me to have a coronary……..
Terrible. Just terrible. Was called by the store shortly after ordering to be told my order would be late by 1.5 hours and I should cancel it. I said I’d wait. The delivery driver arrived only 30 minutes after placing my order banging on my door at night even though I had contactless delivery and it says they will call or text you. The store granted me a free pizza 6 minutes after delivery so they must have thought it went badly. Overall bad experience. And now if I try to use the free coupon the checkout tells me to call a Domino’s call center. You don’t even get to talk to the people in your store anymore. And after I was transferred from the call center to my store they advised me that the call center is not organized and they don’t know what to do. I haven’t ordered dominos in 2 or more years and now I remember why. I pray for Domino’s stock to do good in times like this where bad business practices are all they provide. Remember when it was cool to have dominos boxes at the party. Get it together! The app itself seems poorly optimized and runs like it’s on an iPhone 5. Dominos is lucky it has the pizza tracker patent because that’s gonna need to be their main asset later for when they knead some dough.
Anytime I try to use any of the special features (ie. recent orders or favorites) this app crashes. Anytime I try to login first and then try to use Delivery the app crashes or tells me delivery is not available even though I know it is and in order to fix it so I can get it delivered I have to sign out, build a pizza add it to my cart, which then brings up the option of whether I want it delivery or carry out. I can then and do hit delivery. Next it asks me for my address and choose the correct Domino’s store. At that point it sends me to the sign in page where I put in my information. Yeah, right! No. If I click on the sign in button, it tells me it has a network error, I have to use the done button on my screens keyboard or it or won’t take the login information. Once I do all that it will let me order a pizza for delivery. This app needs to be fixed. I don’t know if this is a problem just with iPads or if it is a far reaching but it’s been ongoing for a long time. I never bothered writing anything about this before because I hate writing reviews but at this point I am so tired of this app.
This order began on my phone, where the app did not recognize my password, even though it had not been changed. I moved over to the iPad, after resetting password. The App tells me i have enough points for a free pizza but it continues to add a ranch dip cup. I remove it. I call and am told that nothing can be done about the error on the page, and my free pizza cannot be redeemed in store. I continue to order without the free pizza then the store locator says it has a network error and could not allocate memory. I close all apps to make sure it’s not my iPad. Still gives me the same error. Finally after several minutes of trying, it goes through. I the put together an order and move through the checkout process, but realize there is no coupon applied to the order, but there is no back or edit button. I have to quit the app, sign back in and build my order all over again. The app looks nice, but the process to check out and select store is terrible. Not to mention they offered a free pizza but failed to allow me to use it. Don’t offer something unless you can, ahem, deliver!
I used the app often enough to notice that recently, there are a lot of issues with orders going thru and card information working. I also noticed that some orders tend to switch from carry out to delivery, which was what happened to me today. Fully charged $33, with tip included and no show after 30 minutes. Realized that the app glitched out and changed my order to carry out, so I had went to the store to pick up my order and get money back. Was told that the order didn’t go thru and I couldn’t received a refund there because the manager currently wasn’t there and I had to leave them my information for them to contact me in the future. Safe to say I’m not happy about all of this considering the company seems to be at fault for not being able to support the app better. Even their own employees were completely against how the corporation bastardized the app. Fix your app! Might be good for certain cities or towns, but it might not be good everywhere else. Either call your orders, go in person, or go somewhere else til this gets resolved.
I had the worst experience I’ve ever had with a domino Driver. He comes to my house tells me come down and get your pizza. I said I’m paying you to deliver not for me to come down to you. He says I don’t walk up the hill because my instructions were to deliver in the back where I live. He said he won’t drive up my driveway or walk up my driveway. He was clear no snow. I come down to the street. He’s sitting in the car waiting for me to pick it up from him. He asked me while I was upstairs if I wanted the food or not, I come downstairs and he just has it again. Do you want the food or not? He opens up the bag I reached for the food. He gets a man and says he still want his food or not and he tried to shut his trunk. I pushed the door of the trunk up. He said he’s gonna call the police. I told him please call the police call your boss too. He calls somebody at the store and it tells me that he doesn’t have to deliver. I told him I’m paid 699 for a delivery plus tip and for him to not even come to my back door. This is how you treat customers he told me I was rude. I said no my daughter heard you say do you want this food or not? They were shocked and they’re young. This is unacceptable and should not be a be allowed. My daughter was sick so she need to eat food and all she wanted was pizza. If that wasn’t the case I would’ve canceled delivery in Norwalk Connecticut shouldn’t be that way. Think twice about ordering from Domino’s now I’m not gonna order ever again. All my church members are not going to. That’s all what 200 people. Terrible customer service in the top it off the food. I ordered cinnamon bites. There was no cinnamon on it. I took pictures. The pizza was even cold. Warm at that. This is a shame and I’ve advised people to think twice.
$3.99. I feel it is unreasonable to assume that the convenience of delivery surmounts the absurdity of your delivery charge. Your pizza company has done a remarkable job of turning your public and, fingers crossed, internal operations around. Your commercials advertised acceptance and accountability of your previous failures. Some being overall taste of pizza, convenient app, and delivery service. Yes, your pizzas are much more enjoyable in terms of taste. And yes, your app is user friendly. I also agree that the rewards points have come in handy during some weeks. However, it’s isn’t the healthiest option on the market. Continuing to increase your delivery charge only pushes consumers like myself away. I am a fairly healthy eater and I prepare healthy dishes on a for my growing family. But on the nights where life is energetic and unscheduled; children are sick, laundry needs to be folders, emails for work need to be answered and so on, dominos is a nice option. For that occasional night or nights of a break, it’s nice. Unfortunately, comparing the price next to the health is now too large to discount. Furthermore, your request to give the drivers a tip on top of the delivery is exuberant. In the previous statement located on the app, while checking out, you claim that the drivers will not get any of the delivery charge money. Where does it go? I am hoping that it goes into a section of the corporate offices dedicated to creating affordable and healthier options. Let’s be honest. There are enough think tanks in the world to dream up of delicious, and mindfully healthy pizzas? Couldn’t that be your new marketing strategy. Thank you for your time, CA Customer and Family
I gotta be honest I’m so disgusted with this app over the years that I’m thinking about starting a class action lawsuit. The coupons never work for the dollar amount they claim. Which is fraud. Secondly, the app charges you more money than if you were to call the restaurant and order on the phone. Thirdly, Domino’s is getting disgustingly overpriced. I just ordered for delivery a medium pie half pepperoni a 2 L of Coke and a 16 piece chicken… I use the emergency pizza coupon which gives me the free pizza and yet still I was charged $40! Are you F’ing kidding me?!?!? that’s probably the last time I’m ever gonna order Domino. My local pizza place has much better quality, food and much more reasonable pricing and I’m sick to death paying delivery fee of over five dollars and then giving a five to $10 tip! I’m confused who’s getting the delivery considering Domino’s doesn’t have their own delivery vehicles just another scam oh also… Domino’s print on their pizza boxes that they are recyclable! In New Jersey, this is absolutely false. We cannot recycle pizza boxes, and this ends up costing the state a tremendous. Another class action lawsuit, waiting to happen. Do better dominoes
