No MicrophoneI have been using this app for years. Recently transferred to an iPhone, and my world has turned upside down with this app. I can no longer use the microphone on the keyboard to dictate the message that I need to send. I am hard of hearing and hard of vision so I depend on the microphone to be there. It was only recently that they took this feature away. It was hard to get to the right person but I talked to the app designers via Fcc complaint and I am really grateful for their positive response. They asked me what I needed. (At the time I needed the phone book to be alphabetized so I didn't have to scroll through a 1000 names n numbers.) Then it was crashing when I put in the number. I used it the other day and had a minor problem and I saw they fixed it. I'm really pleased. It's a great app now and so far they are really addressing any thing that presents. Last IP relay provider left…not greatThey “get a lot of inappropriate registrations”. OK…that’s understandable. Since I also use VP, it was easy to schedule a VP call and they verified me.
Porting an MSDN number into the relay database using this provider is too convoluted and unreliable. I almost lost my previous digits I’ve had since August of 2013.
The CAs are typing way too many “xxxx” “xxxxxx” and not actual words. If someone calls you through this service and you don’t answer, they transcribe what your caller says into an email rather than a message you can check on TMobileIPRelay.com. I guess that makes sense nowadays.
I literally only used this service for a month in 2023. It’s gone so far downhill since 2010 when my usage of IP relay services peaked. I do not plan to use this service or app again..APValeriusVersion: 4.4.0
Great service but app needs some improvementsI consider T-Mobile (formerly Sprint) IP Relay to be one of the best relay operators. For that reason alone I will probably be using them all the time. However, I think there are some things that could be implemented to make the app more convenient to use.
1. Send words automatically as I type. I always like to enable sending my words as I type on the T-Mobile IP Relay website. This makes for a much smoother conversation as the person I’m calling doesn’t have to wait for me to type my entire message and send it.
2. Add the ability to block numbers in the app. I get quite a few spam calls daily and I usually have to type the numbers online on my computer to block them as the app doesn’t have this ability. An option to subscribe to a spam call blocking service would be even better!

Great but can’t verify identity..Where I live, I must go outside to make/receive RTT/TTY calls. I live it Texas which means the summer heat is brutal. Having epilepsy as well as low vision, this presents issues with both aside from the need for TTY. I was very excited to learn of this service after 2 Hours in 95 (heat index 107). I tried repeatedly to verify my identity but there was nothing for it. I answered ALL questions truthfully but it still said it could not be verified. Perplexed, I wrote an email, at least hoping for an automated “we’ll get back to you soon” message, but though I tried twice to send the email, gmail gave me an error message saying some things would not be saved. Tried through the browser in case it was an app error and the results were the same. Buggy, fix please?Hi debris, this app is really buggy, can you please fix? It doesn't cooperate well with system accessibility settings, which means that those of us with multiple sensory issues have to struggle. Scrolling is buggy -- incoming text bounces below the bottom of the window. Incoming call window doesn't expand with larger font sizes, which makes incoming calls difficult /impossible to answer. But even if I do manage to hit the right, tiny button, incoming calls don't always answer, anyway. And your system often cuts me off, I'm assuming because I have a slow, rural internet connection. Which means us rural customers need more support, not less. Also, if you could make the browser and app options and interfaces more similar, that would be helpful, especially for those of us with vision difficulties. Buggy; needs sound support.This is still buggy. When I tried to answer a call from a potential employer, I was unable to type anything and had to end the call.
I wish we could have sound alerts. I recently contacted Support and inquired about sound alerts. The Support person said that this app is geared towards deaf people and it doesn’t need sound alerts. That’s patently false. This service is also geared towards mute people; it says so right in the description and on the Web site. I often miss important phone calls because I don’t hear the phone. Lazy interpretersIt a hit and miss with the interpreters. Called today to see if can activate my debit card. They lied and said no options or live person available and call hanged up. I called back myself and use Live captions on IPhone and did it myself. Basically getting paid to do nothing all day but answer the phone and lie call don’t go through. Apparently you can't forward your number!I need this app because I'm losing the use of my voice.
I set my phone to forward calls to my relay number.
Then I get a text from my grandfather saying he keeps getting an operator that says it's an invalid number.
I call customer service and they said that forwarding isn't supposed to work. I'm ditching this for Apple's built in TTY service (if I can get it to work).
What's the point of having a relay number if you can't forward your calls to it?!
